So, I said I wohld have been gone for a while...

But I saw this artpeace  by @isjasz (her tumblr) and it became my reason to live

So... Enjoy this oneshot while it last :D

Hotguy looked at at the city from the ceiling, it all looked to peaceful during the night.

He immediately forgot what he was here for though, which was a problem and a very Scar thing to do. But unfortunately he wasn't allowed to be Scar at the moment. His train of though stopped when an arrow almost hit him.

Ah yes, Cuteguy.

Cuteguy wasn't the best one with bow and arrows, he was way better at a close battle, but he was good enough to startle Hotguy when needed. In this moment it was needed.

Hotguy turned around to see who almost made him blind, ready to trasform to atoms whoever attacked him, but his face got painted with a smile as soon as he looked at the slim figure above him, in a near roof trying his best not to die of laughter.

Scaf realized that the painter decorating his face also, accidentally, splashed a little bit of red.

Just a tiny bit, hard to see without the mask and impossible with it.

"Hotguy, wasn't expecting you to be early" the avian figure said while getting closer.

While the pink and white wings made an awfull distraction, the taller hero remembered that Cuteguy had to talk to him about something important

"Why do you think I'd be late? I wouldn't want my darling to wait" The taller hero said while jokingly kissing the other hero's hand.

Until he noticed something.

The mask was normal, his wings were normal, but the outfit was different: Cuteguy usually wore a white and pink attire, which made him the 'opposite' of Hotguy, but today he was wearing black shirt and pants with his jacket. That was his 'hidden' outfit, used when the avian wasn't meant to be seen (it was something Hotguy didn't need as much as Cuteguy because his outfit was already pretty dark)

Hotguy had dark hair, Cuteguy's were light; Hotguy was tall, Cuteguy had the intention to be; Hotguy was flirtous while Cuteguy was...

"Are you listening to me?"

Scar mind said no, but his expression said 'please don't ask me that'

"Oh yeah, totally"

Cuteguy folded his hands. A suspicious expression on his face.

"Then what did I say?"

Yep. He was screwed.

The brunette hero searched is memory, but it was empty.

"Youu... weerreee.... talking about... safety?"

"No."

Fuck

Yes, Hotguy was kind of screwed now.

"Ok, ok, I wasn't listening"

Scar said while moving his hands. Cuteguy slapped his face muttering something similar a 'this idiot', but Scar didn't hear it well.

"I was talking about what the public think of us!"

"And what does the public think of us?"

The avian started to mentally pray God to, please, have a smarter partner. But he started to remember all the time Hotguy had brillant ideas and hated the fact that he was just too innocent to be an adult man.

"The fact that everyone thinks we're dating, Hotguy"

Scar stopped. No, it wasn't Hotguy, it was Scar. The man hid his fear with the flirtuois smile and the confident attitude, but he couldn't lie saying the though of kissing those lips interested him...

'No Scar, you can fuck your collegue'

"And what is we made it true?"

Hotguy started to walk towards Cuteguy, with his sicure composure,a playful smile and an emotion Cuteguy couldn't innitially recognize.

But when the realization came, it made his stomach go upside down. Why did Hoteguy had lust in his eyes? He always joked about kissing him, calling him 'his boyfriend', offering his hand and playful flirting like these.

'Cuteguy' didn't have something to complain about it, but Grian hated how his face would become more and more like the red of his natural wings color.

He started walking back, searching to escape the bumping of his heart. He hit the border of the roof that, fortunately and unfortunately, had a small wall. He sat on the wall and waited. Hotguy stopped right infront of his face, looking in his eyes. Grian made his 'Cuteguy' mask fell off and decided to relax, just relax, even if Hotguy was always clingy it was rare to have him this close so maybe he should have just enjoyed the momeng. His expression calmed down, the sleepyness of the middle of the night appeared.

"So... do you accept my offe-"

Hotguy almost jumped when CUteguy's head landed on his shoulder. If you asked him, he would have said he was completely calm, but his heartrate said something else. Did Cuteguy really fell asleep on him? What was he suppose to do now?

"I'm not asleep, I just want..." Cute guys without continuing and putting his arms behind Hotguy's back.

They both remained there, too scared to scare the moment away by moving. After what we can count as some seconds, but for them seemed hours, Hotguy put his hands on Cuteguy's back making it the best hug Grian recieved in years.

When was the last time he was hugged like this? When was the last time someone cared so much?

They stayed there, waiting for the morning as the sun started rising from behind.

Sailor Moon - Thoughts (S01EP01-EP12)

I binged through the first season of Sailor Moon (46 episodes) in four days (technically five, but it was only two episodes left after 12AM...), so I'll gather all my notes and talk about them now. I'll separate this into four posts and they're separated by the episodes I watched each day.

01-12 . 13-22 . 23-27 . 28-46

Believe me when I say these posts are taking me for-e-ver because apparently my brain has never once uttered a conherent sentence.

Jan. 1

First of all. Usagi's mom is SO PRETTY. I love the shade of her hair.

She is beauty, she is grace.

The first time Usagi met Mamoru, I just. I could tell he was important to the story. I could guess who he was supposed to be (I'd be right about that, of course). He looked a little old, but I told myself it was just his attire and sunglasses.

The moment he took off his sunglasses I had two thoughts:

"IS THAT THE TUX GUY??? HE DOESN'T LOOK 14??? TOO OLD."

and

"Oh mah god, he has very blue eyes. Slightly disturbingly so."

Ultimately, having finished the first season, I will say Usagi and Mamoru's story together is lovely. However, I was still very uncomfortable with their dynamic prior to episode 34. More on that in a later post.

I really like Naru, even though we've only just met her, but I loved her whole look and voice. She has a girly way of speaking but a boyish tone. It's a really nice voice to listen to as it's not too soft or too brash. She's great, I sure hope nothing bad happens to her.

I haven't watched anime in a while to be honest, and if I did, they were just new seasons of anime I'd started previously. I don't know how common it is, but I'd forgotten how quickly the main conflict could be introduced(?) Even so, I think Sailor Moon was very quick to show us, the viewers, who the mastermind was. Usually, the main characters would be fighting the henchmen and their minions with little to no knowledge of a bigger person until later, which still holds true for Sailor Moon. The difference is that we knew of the bigger person. I think most animes would have had the viewers find out about the bigger person along with the cast, or only a few episodes prior. Again, I don't really know how common it is, I rarely remember the beginning of shows because everything after it shoves it in an unreachable corner. It makes sense though, I think; introduce antagonist/conflict, slice of life a few dozen episodes, reiterate conflict, another few dozens with more inconveniences and henchmen/minion fighting, reintroduce conflict and solve it within 12 episodes. The formula for most magical girl shows if I do say so myself, give or take.

FIRST TRANSFORMATION!!! Loved it. Iconic. The brooch is so small and dainty. I loved that when Usagi's top was forming, it forms a ribbon heart!!! It's so freaking cute.

I think what could also be really cute is to have a ribbon dance magical girl and she does that thing where she twirls the ribbon wand above her head while the ribbons fall and swirl around her body when she trasforms! I'm sure one exists out there. (Sailor Venus's transformation is almost exactly what I was envisioning, but I feel like it's still not quite there, it's not... ribbon enough...? Perhaps it's the way it doesn't flow like a ribbon and how it's moving too fast.)

Usagi said she was a Cancer so I decided to search it up, and it turns out we have the same birthday, June 30th! A few episodes later I found out we also have the same blood type???

The soundtrack is lovely, really. Very jazzy.

Feelings on Jadeite. He can be a pretty boy sometimes.

Other times, he's an abomination. It's okay Usagi. I would also cry if a man looked at me with that face. I just dislike the entire facial expression, especially the smug smile (I don't like smug smiles with a dip) and the weird eyes with large white... I don't know what it's supposed to be. The shine? Why is it so big? It's unsettling and not in a "I'm supposed to feel this way" way.

Expisode four :/ I'm sure their message wasn't to go on diets and that you have to be skinny to be beautiful, the opposite really, but the intent was not conveyed well at all. The episode was handled distastefully, from everyone feeding Usagi insecurities to all the girls experiencing anorexia. I'm having a hard time putting thoughts into words right now, but I'm sure this is a discussion many has had with other people, so I'll leave it at that for now.

I only noticed this in episode seven, but since episode six, Tuxedo Mask's cape was changed from a black and white... I don't know what to call this pattern, TO A BISEXUAL CAPE. Very slay. Canon.

Him jumping backwards into a rainbow is also very telling.

The "cool grown up musician" transformation is my favorite of all the appearance changes in season one. She looks so pretty and I love the way the stars are bouncing and synced to the music and beats!!! That and the three lines that shoot up UGH I don't know, it does something very giddy to me.

Sailor Moon getting an album was crazy though, I love that for her.

THE GREEN GOO. I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS SUCH AN EARLY EPISODE. If I had a nickle for every time an anime I saw on TV as a child turn out to be from an early episode without knowing, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Episode seven of Sailor Moon being one, Nami from One Piece stabbing her arm tattoo being the other.

I find it funny and a little silly that the monster decided they were also going to be in a bath towel even though there was no reason to take their clothes off in the first place.

I think what could've been really cool for the intro was to only reveal Ami and Rei here after they were properly introduced in their episodes! Keep their appearances a secret, only have Sailor Moon unveil herself at first, it would've been so cool TwT

I legit thought these three women were the same person until I opened three tabs and kept switching back and forth through each one (EP1/5/9). But in my defense I was watching these at 5AM with a rock brain and wax eyelids.

Episode 10 (when Sailor Mars was found) really tested my patience because Usagi cried so much. I hate characters that cry a lot (Deku) and I can understand crying because you're in pain or sad or frustrated, but Usagi cries to whine about the most trifling matters. I understand that being a crybaby is part of Usagi's gag and was made known to us in episode one, but I felt that it was way too overdone in this episode. USAGI'S HAIRBUNS TURNING INTO STARS ARE SO FREAKING CUTE. JUST LOOK AT THEM. AUGH.

They're gay. They're so gay. This is a couple. Rei is bisexual. Ami is lesbian but doesn't realize until she's either in high school or college.

I ship them? A little? Don't have a specific reason. I like the way they flirt by not flirting? Maybe I just really like Thetis???

I will say, I'm a little dissappointed with the obvious favoritism going on. Not only is Usagi's transformation longer and more intricate, her top/skirt/boots/accessories all having a moment to shine while Ami and Rei's showcase a quicker full body transformation, she also gets her own music for when she uses her special skill, Moon Tiara Action. Ami and Rei, on the other hand, don't have such treatment for their Bubble Spray and Fire Soul/Akuryo Taisan. "Usagi's the main character!" "It's called Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon for a reason." Okay :( Give my girls justice.

The three masks Piovurno talks about while the group is all decently dizzy on Damui's comeback night. The first mask means something like 'gestation', the second 'half demon' and the third 'snake', which has no ears compared to Hannya, because the trasformation is complete.

There's a whole category of masks, called onryoumen, for people so destroyed by grief (usually, but not only, due to a cheating lover) that they lose control and become a danger to others. It took me quite some time to realise that Damui might have taken this whole conversation personally.

Namanari, Hannya and Ja, three stages of spirit possession, usually because of grief or jealousy, as depicted in Noh theatre.

A Second Mask: Chapter 4

Did that just happen?

Hello guys! It's me. I'm finally writing again. Sorry about the delay. I'm going to explain more at the end of the chapter, but I'm just going to keep the beginning short. So here is chapter 4:

To say Adrien was concerned would be a huge understatement. He was downright disturbed. Its been weeks and still Marinette hadn't changed back to the happy, peppy, nice girl that he knew. AND SHE WOULDN'T EVEN TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT!

He tried to talk to her for a whole week after her original trasformation, but after the repeated firm rejections, he stopped altogether. He figured that maybe with some space, she might be able to work through whatever she was going through, but at this point, he's losing hope.

When he is feeling this distressed about something, he usually turns to his lady, but she has been acting weird too. Ever since she suggested they start sparring, she's started to show that she is going through kinda a rough time as well. She is the same ladybug when everyone is watching, but when it's just the two of them, she looks sad and tired. She has also started saying some concerning things while they are sparring. She has started talking about how she has started taking being Ladybug and the Guardian more seriously, and how she has less distractions now, which would be a good thing if she didn't say them so sadly.

The good thing is, the sparring has given him a chance to get out his aggression because of the whole Marinette-situation and his anger at his father in a safe environment. He didn't like the idea of hitting Ladybug at first (especially in the face) but with her not holding back on her hits, he felt more comfortable doing the same. It has helped them fight better too. He hopes that whatever Ladybug is going through in her civillian life will work itself out soon, but until then he will be there for her. He just needs to figure out how to be there for Marinette.

Felix was making good progress with Marinette. After they first asked marinette about (insert fashion question of your choice here, I legit know nothing and I didn't have time to research anything for this chapter), she had started answering their questions on a daily basis. After a couple of days of that, she had started to rant to them about different things in the fashion world that were bothering her, exciting her, or confusing her that particular day. In response to that, they had started to respond to her rants with their own opinions on the subjects and even start their own rants.

It had gotten to the point where Felix would now consider them to be friends, though they know that Marinette would never call them as such, it was fine with them. They know she has trust issues, and they can understand why, so they are fine with being friends in everything but a name.

Felix was looking forward to their daily banter as they waited in their seat for Marinette to arrive. When she did, she was followed by a very pissed-looking Alya. Felix turned to look at her and noticed that she had what looked to be tears forming in her eyes. What they didn't notice was the little black butterfly that had entered through the window in the back of the room, and was making a beeline towards her.

Marinette walked to school in yet another one of her newest fashion creations: a pair of oversized grey ripped jeans and a navy blue sweatshirt. She was actually really liking her new look, and the comfort that it offered was just an added plus.

She was actually feeling excited to talk to Felix about Gabriel Agreste's newest fashion flop. They were the only person that she had met that actually cared about fashion as much as her. It made her happy to talk to them. It kind of scared her how excited she was. Shouldn't she be distancing herself from everyone? she thought to herself. No. Felix isn't my friend, they aren't close to me, they are just someone I talk fashion with. Like a coworker, yeah. Totally. Felix is just a coworker. ("Liar" says the inner voice in her head)

She was shocked out of her thoughts when she was pulled to the side by someone as she entered the courtyard. Her mind immediately thought of an akuma, when the person spoke.

"Marinette! Girl," Oh it's just Alya. Wait Alya? "How long are you gonna keep up this cry for attention? Are you really THAT jealous of Lila? I know that Adrien likes her, but that doesn't give you the right to act like this! And you are hanging out with Felix, who accused her of sexually harrassing Adrien on their first day here-?" She looked absolutely furious at her, but Marinette had heard enough. She cut Alya off in the middle of her presumably long rant.

"ALYA!" Said girl jumped at both the inturruption and the tone of voice used, "First of all, this isn't a cry for attention, if anything its a cry for leaving me the fuck alone. Second of all, I'm not jealous of Lila. I'm not in love with Adrien anymore, and haven't been for a while. You knew that I was dating Luka right? Why would I care who Adrien likes? Lastly, I am allowed to hang out with whoever I choose, whether you like them or not. It's none of your fucking business Alya, and if you think that I'm just some jealous, attention-seeker why do you even care?" With that last question she stormed off to the classroom, leaving a speechless Alya behind her.

When marinette sat down in her seat, she just kept thinking about how Alya was just talking to her. How could she think that about her? They used to be best friends, and Alya wasn't even concerned about her not talking to her anymore, she was just concerned about her being "jealous of Lila". It made her so furious that she could feel tears trickling down her face. She sees the black butterfly out of the corner of her eye and without hesitation grabs it out of the air.

"Go ahead and akumatize me- See what happens, Hawkmoth!" She screamed the words with a slight madness that the energy of the akuma was giving her, "Every leash has two ends! I just have to pull until I find where you're holding it!"

At this point, the entire class was frozen in place watching her and listening to her crazed-sounding voice threaten an actual terrorist. Marinette felt Hawkmoth's confusion and terror through the bond. What in the- She's sensing me through the Akuma?! The akuma then started to fly away, and when it couldn't it zapped her hand like it was made of lightning and fluttered through the same window it came from. Marinette felt like she had failed yet again and collapsed down on her desk, muttering, "Uuuuggghh. It escaped anyway... What a waste. I didn't realize that Hawkmoth was such a coward. He usually likes grandstand..."

She was startled when her hand was picked up by Felix's, "You likely scared him off by managing to locate him like that... A risky move, I should mention. I would ask that you not attempt that a second time. No one knows what his akuma is truly capable of. You'll want to keep off of this hand for a while, too."

"Oh, are those the doctor's orders? Why, Felix, it almost sounds like you care about meeee." Marinette was all too amused by Felix's concern for her. She also liked to tease them... AS COWORKERS DO.

"I have an investment in your presence. Now don't be cheeky and let's get you to the nurse's office," They said while holding her wrist and gently pulling her in that direction.

Marinette scoffed, "'An investment in my presence'??"

Felix chuckled while still semi-dragging her by the wrist towards the front of the room, being careful not to hurt her injury even worse, "What did I just say about being cheeky?"

On their way out of the door they passed a VERY distressed-looking Adrien. He seemed to be sharing the sentiment with the entire class of: Did that just happen?

And thats chapter 4. It is VERY LATE! I know. I've been swamped with work, and when I went to write it, I had zero ideas on how to write this chapter. I never ended up getting those ideas. I just went where my writing took me, so if it doesn't really match the characters that's why. I will try to be better at updating regularly, but it probably won't happen. Sorry to everyone with a normal sleep schedule, but this is the time that I write things. Also I didn't have my outline with me while writing this chapter, so it might not have everything I planned to write in it.

I would like to thank you all for all of the support I've been getting on this fic. Despite all of the chapter delays, you guys have stuck with me through all of it, so thank each and every one of you. I love seeing so many people loving this au as much as I do. Without you guys this story wouldn't exist, and I would've stopped writing it after the first chapter.

Last Day In Heaven Pt.5

Then Marinette told Kagami and Luka whom she got pretty close recently of her plan and asked them to come with her to the party. They already knew she was MDC . They accepted and helped her collect more evidence against Lila. On patrol that night Ladybug told Ryuuko and Viperion that they could catch Gabriel on action at that party and that they should keep an eye on him and record if they saw anything suspicious as evidence against him. It didn't take long for the duo to realize who the other was. So now Kagami and Luka knew the other was a hero too. When they asked how did she knew they would be at the party she said she kind of knew Marinette and couldn't tell much because of secret identities and closed the subject.

The following days almost all Marinette did was working on the dresses and thinking about her plan. She thought of all the things that could go wrong and made a plan for every one of them. Nothing could stop her from getting her revenge.

Her own dress was named "Karma". It was symbolizing how despite all the dark, nasty rumors around her she was actually a pure white. But if it meant the real dark, nasty ones would be exposed she could lose some of her innocence, add some gray to her pure white while doing karma's job, making sure they got what they deserved. And who knows maybe it would benefit her. Save her from being too naive, getting used. Being completely white only ended up hurting her after all.

When her MDC original dress arrived she quickly opened it and took a look at the dress. She would prefer fancier dresses but even if it was a little simple for Lila's taste it was still elegant and still and MDC original. That alone was enough to make everybody look her way. There was some chinese words on it's sleeves but she didn't bother search what it meant, or was it japanese? Honestly she didn't know and didn't care. She took a pic of the box the dress came in and posted it on social media with the caption "Thanks for the dress @mdc. So excited to wear it at the party!" She wouldn't show anyone her dress untill the party-not even Adrien- she wanted to surprise them.

The night before the party MDC posted these lines on her social media;

Everybody was confused to say the least but they would learn what it meant soon.

When the day of the party came all of France was excited and was waiting for MDC to reveal her identity. The party would be on live while the guests made their speech so everyone else would learn of her identity at the same time as the party guests.

When it was finally the time, MDC stepped out of a limousine with her two friends by her sides. Masks on all of their faces. Marinette normally would get nervous from all the eyes on her but right now she was in her Ladybug persona, locked to her target, determined to take the villian down. She was one of the last ones to arrive. Not too early and not late enough to be actually late, just in time to make an appareance. So she didn't get to chat with too many people before she was called to stage for her speech. She walked to the stage with a cold expression, with ice in her eyes. But Lila didn't seem to recognize that as she stepped aside so she could be in front of the mike with an excited smile on her face.

She plastered a fake smile on her face and started her speech "We all are here to congortulate the lovely couple but first I have a present for them." Just then a video started playing behind her. Lila turned her back to the crowd to take a good look at it. Then all of Lila's lies from her Ladyblog interviews started playing with the mentioned celebrity denying ever meeting her. All the color drained from Lila's face as she realized what it was. She wanted to scream, stop the video, break the screen. But she couldn't, she couldn't even move. It was like she was frozen in place. And as her lies were being exposed one by one some symbols started to show up on the trail of her dress in the dark. They almost looked like...flames?!

Gabriel feeling the intense negative emotions from the crowd, tried to sneak away and trasform. But was noticed by Luka who was watching him the whole time. He followed him and recorded how he was sneaking from the crowd when he got in the man's restroom he followed catious not to make a sound. He was still recording when he said "Noroo , dark wings ri-" and couldn't finish as he knocked on the door. He said "Occupied" . And decided to wait untill the person was out of there to transform. But they took longer than expected. Luka already sent the recording. And the police would be here in any minute like they agreed to before the party. Gabriel waited a little more but when the other person still didn't get out yet he decided to get out and find somewhere else to transform.

Guys I won't be active for a week or so cause I won't have internet connection. I don't want to leave the story like that when it's so close to the ending but I don't have any choice. Thoughts on a 12th house stellium ? I have my sun, venus and mars and I hate it here lmfao

i always say it...planets in water houses are never easy but they have the most trasformative power of them all...having an hemphasis in any of these house is both a blessing and a curse...in this case you don’t have a defined subject to deal with( for example the 4th house deal with the roots,family or the 8th deals with power possession)...no the 12th house deals with everything(is the last house so embodies a bit of all the previous ones) the themes of this house are various and very big, they deal mostly with your ego,your faith,vulnerability,fears,dreams,illusions so in order to grow you need to face your vulnerabilities,to let go of your ego,to do things for a greather purpose(it’s spiritual related)

sun in 12th- here your ego has an extreme difficult time to show itself..why?because it’s suppressed by the second house,so u may be perceived as someone who has no personality,no opinions but that is because in this house your ego is frail and really doesn’t know how to act, depending on the sign your sign is in you may be quieter than others of your same sign(fire,air) or really introvert and shy(earth,water signs)

moon in 12th- with the moon here it may seem not safe to express your emotions, you’re afraid of rejection so often hide them behind a mask,this moon in my opinion is similar to a bad aspected moon(has squares,oppositions with other planets) because this position inhibits your feelings from being show,but then you may act out on them without really understanding why u did it...

mars in 12th-here mars acts as if it was in retrograde meaning you may supress your anger till the point where it explodes,is actually an unhealthy house for mars to be in,because mars wants movement while the 12th house is more passive,so here for your own good you need to recognize your anger not shy away from it,you need to express it when you feel it instead of keeping it,and you need to understand that you can be a very destructive(in the literal sense) idividual if you don’t express your anger in the moment

12th house stellium can make a person a very scary individual,but that is because they often don’t know how to express themselves(since 12th destroys your sense of self), so to be a more positive person you actually need to find out your  true passion,something that calms you,something where you can be you...this house is actually great when it comes to creativity,so anything that has to so with it has a great potential to make you feel good on a soul level..

Nen and Characters: Ikalgo and Welfin

Ikalgo and Welfin are both minor characters, but they end up having rather important roles in the CAA.

What is more, they are characters who are clearly linked as it is shown by both their fight and the fact that they share a common past:

However, what truly makes them similar is the fact that they are two people who use their own powers to mask their feelings of inadequacy. This is why they can grow only when forced out from their comfort zones represented by their respective abilities.

IKALGO: OVERCOMING PARASYTES AND CORPSES TO REACH THE IDEAL SELF

Ikalgo has two abilities which symbolize respectively his dependance on others (Fleadom) and his self-loathing (Living Dead Dolls).

1) Fleadom is the first ability we are shown and it consists in him being able to cultivate/conjure giant fleas while being inside a corpse.

The fact that he is able to create fleas only while being inside another person’s body is symbolic of his lack of Independence which is represented also by his projectiles being parasites.

In a sense, he himself is like a flea since he infests a corpse.

What is interesting is that, as the wiki highlights, the name of the ability is pronunced “freedom” in Japanese.

Freedom is exactly what Ikalgo wants, in a sense. As a matter of fact he wants to be strong enough, so that others can count on him.

What is interesting is that freedom is also what Killua who is Ikalgo’s foil wants:

However, the two characters go at it in ways which are at the same time similar and opposite.

On one hand they both see in another person (for Killua it is Gon and for Ikalgo it is Killua himself) the key to enter a world they wish to be a part of. On the other hand these worlds could not be more different since Killua wants to enter the world of light, whereas Ikalgo the world of the strong:

What is more, Killua and Ikalgo have what the other lacks:

Ikalgo has the willingness not to betray his comrades and to die for them (he lacks self-preservation), whereas Killua has the strength to kill both for himself and for others (he has killing tendencies).

What I want to underline is that both Killua and Ikalgo see what it could be easily considered a flaw in the other as something positive. In the end Ikalgo’s readiness to die for others stems from his self-loathing, whereas Killua’s strength and violence is the result of a hellish childhood which left him with murderous instincts. However, since they are things Killua and Ikalgo feel they don’t have, they are attracted to these attributes.

In short, Killua is Ikalgo’s ideal-self and vice versa and this is probably why they are able to become friends in such a short period of time.

Thanks to Killua’s friendship Ikalgo becomes more strong willed when fighting enemies and tries to force himself to kill them:

In the end he is not able to do so, but he still finds the willingness to kill (or at least to hurt) his opponent in what is basically a suicidal attack:

Let’s underline two things.

Firstly, here Ikalgo is using his rifle which is equipped with bullets instead of fleas this time. And these bullets are considered dangerous enough to be deadly. In other words, Ikalgo starts the arc by using non-mortal fleas and ends it ready to use bullets which can kill.

In the end it is not necessary for him to kill his opponent, just like it is not necessary for Killua to die to save Gon, but the point is that both characters are struggling to grow in the other’s direction and to acquire what the other already has.

Secondly, during the battle I kalgo overcomes a technique which consists in putting centipedes in a person’s brain to control them. In short, it is a technique which relies on parasytes exactly like Ikalgo’s own abilities. However, Ikalgo is able to make them disappear and in this way he takes his freedom back. In a sense, we can say that during this fight Ikalgo turned “fleadom” into proper freedom.

By the end of the CAA Ikalgo has grown closer to who he wants to become and in this way he has made progress in overcoming his self-loathing.

2) Living Dead Dolls lets Ikalgo take over corpses and obtain the ability of the deceased person.

This is symbolic of Ikalgo’s wish to be someone else, which is made clear in his first conversation with Killua:

Ikalgo thinks of himself as uncool and wishes to be someone else entirely.

The fact that this is highlighted also by his name of choice (Ikalgo aka squid) is interesting as well and perfectly synthesizes Ikalgo’s role in regards to Killua.

Ikalgo is who Killua wants to be i.e. his ideal-self, (as opposed to Palm who represents who Killua doesn’t want to admit that he is). In other words he has qualities Killua wants to posses and is also a character strongly motivated by the idea of becoming better and of reaching a better version of himself. This is why he is literally called after his own ideal-self. So he represents the part of Killua who aspires to be better and embodies the qualities Killua strives to have.

That said, in the beginning, ikalgo tries to become better through pursuing some superficial trasformation. He wants to be cool and strong and the fact that his power lets him literally change skin and ability is a metaphor for this.

However, all these attempts won’t solve Ikalgo’s problems exactly like no matter how many corpses he possesses, the fact that they become rotten and will decompose won’t change.

In a sense, Ikalgo is nothing more than what the second name of his ability suggests i.e. a kid who plays with corpses. This means that he is a person whose identity is developing and who tries different personas out. However, in the end he has to face who he truly is and this happens through his confrontation with Welfin.

It is important that he wins against Welfin without relying on another person’s corpse or ability and that he does so because of his determination which is his best quality and one he has always had.

Another interesting fact connected to Ikalgo’s victory over Welfin is that he manages to remember something of his human life.

It is interesting because in his introduction he shows to have memories linked to his life as an octopus, rather than to his life as a human.

However, by the end of his arc he has recalled other events which were part of his human life.

This can be symbolically seen as Ikalgo starting out as an animal and becoming a human towards the end of the arc. This reading ties quite well with both the themes of the CAA and Ikalgo becoming his own person and affirming himself in the climax of his development.

In short, Ikalgo appears for the first time in this way:

He has someone else’s looks and uses non-mortal fleas to attack his opponents. He is also quick to delegate when things get complicated and tries to escape.

By the end of the arc he fights an opponent as himself, is ready to hurt him and wins because of who he is inside.

WELFIN: THE IMPORTANCE OF HONEST RELATIONSHIPS

Welfin’s ability is called Missileman and it lets him choose a target and give the target a specific order which must be executed to avoid retaliation.

What is interesting is that when this ability is introduced it is said that Welfin himself looks down on it because it is not really battle oriented. For this reason, he prefers to use it in negotiations:

This underlines that Welfin is a person who fundamentally lacks trust in himself and this makes him similar to Ikalgo. However, differently from the octopus, his preservation instincts are very high to the point that he is so worried about preserving himself and so scared of meeting danger that his defense mechanisms don’t let him trust anyone.

This is well symbolized by his power which is a metaphor of how Welfin faces others. He doesn’t interact with them in a genuine way, but always tries to manipulate them and puts them in a situation of inferiority compared to himself. He is scared of interaction on the same level, so he makes up specific rules others must follow when approaching him.

This is something which makes sense if we consider the only thing we know of his childhood:

It is obvious that his complicated relationship with his father has left deep scars in Welfin and it is probably the origin of his general distrust of others.

This is another trait which makes him the opposite of Ikalgo who has shown to be able to create deep bonds rather quickly and to approach others in a genuine way.

Because of these opposite attributes, the two characters’ confrontation is important for Welfin.

As a matter of fact he has two realizations:

First of all, he realizes that not all people think like him and some individuals are ready to disregard their own safety to reach an objective. Welfin’s failure to realize this beforehand is what leads him to misuse his power and to lose. As a matter of fact, he is so sure everybody is selfish like he is that he is completely unprepared to face a person as altruistic as Ikalgo and we are shown how his power becomes useless and he himself is not sure of how it works anymore. This is because the system he uses to interact with others and the world collapses leaving him vulnerable.

At the same time, it is precisely this vulenrability which lets him make progress. As the panel above shows he is able to be honest for once and realizes that it is actually pretty simple and that interacting with others doesn’t have to be necessarily so complicated. The reason why the centipedes disappears when Welfin is honest is that he gives up trying to manipulate the other, so trying to put ideas and lies into the other’s head.

By showing vulnerability another side of Welfin starts to emerge:

It is true that he went through traumatic events during his early childhood, but at the same time he was also able to create bonds so strong he remembers them despite having died once.

Thanks to these bonds he finds a new will to fight and a new objective.

This is very similar to what happened to both Ikalgo and Killua. In other words it is easy to see that a virtuous circle is at work here. Thanks to his relationship with Gon Killua is able to change and to inspire Ikalgo to change. At the same time Ikalgo manages to get through Welfin.

Finally, Welfin goes through Meruem:

Just like Ikalgo did with him, the key to reach Meruem is the name of a loved person.

Because of Ikalgo proving to him tat he knew his name, Welfin accepts to help him and later on because of Welfin helping Meruem to remember Komugi he is left alive by the king.

This also leads Welfin to actually manage to make a true negotiation without relying on his power. He succeeds because at the last possible moment he is able to understand what is truly important for Meruem.

Finally, it is interesting to underline that after his traumatic experience with the king Welfin has become way more open and optimistic than before:

He is shown more open with his new comrades, invites Bloster to come with him and tries to stimulate his memories through Gyro’s motto:

“Don’t die until you are dead”

This phrase invites people to live to the fullest and it seems that Welfin might be starting to do it after having faced death twice.

OLD FRIENDS AND NEW FRIENDS

Ikalgo and Welfin find the strength to fight and to overcome their respective fears (the fear of killing for Ikalgo and the one of dying for Welfin) thanks to important relationships.

However, Welfin does so for a relationship he developed as a human, whereas Ikalgo does so for one he forged after having turned into a Chimera Ant.

In other words, they find their own humanity in different ways.

Welfin considers humanity something connected to memories:

It is the memories of his human life what motivates Welfin and which constitutes the basis of his identity.

Ikalgo doesn’t give that much importance to memories, instead. What he wants is not to connect with his past, but to change and this is proven by the fact that, despite remembering Welfin and gyro he shows no willingness to meet with his previous boss. This is because for Ikalgo the friends he made as a chimera ants are ultimately more important than the ones he had in his previous life.

In other words, Welfin looks at the past, while Ikalgo looks at the future.

Both approaches are correct, but at the same time they need to integrate.

This is shown by the fact Ikalgo is finally able to remember something about his past and he connecst with his old comrade again despite remaining loyal to his new friends.

At the same time, Welfin stops keeping a passive attitude towards his past and tries to actively find his old friend again. At the same time, he brings new comrades along.

All in all, both characters develop a sense of humanity and find a way to reconcile past and future.

So today I set foot out of my house for the first time since February. I went to my grandfather's house, where I discovered that:

There is a field completely covered in dandelions (and when I say covered I mean that my first thought was: "Why is that field white?")

My cousins want to trasform the other field in a motocross track

My grandfather's neighbour now keeps two horses in his field

My father thinks that "It's the green one over there!" is a clear way to point out which plant out of the whole lawn he is referring to

Wearing a mask actually increases the number of times I touch my face (because the mask kept slipping down my nose and I couldn't help but try to fix it)

Some things about the meaning of the words in the left upper corner of the images ⬇️

In my story the fighters are divided in 4 categories based on their potential:

Complete: This wrestlers are pretty versatile in their abilities, and their statistics are equally. So they haven’t a special statistic and their body size isn’t too big or too small, the same is for their height (e.g. Michiko, Ilse).

Speed: This ones have the most rapid movements of all. Usually their body is small and the muscles are slim. They have the defect of not being very strong (e.g. Brianna, CyberBabe)

Agility: They are the most skillful and acrobatic when they’re fighting. They’re usually tall with a medium musculature (e.g. Gazellin, Chess)

Strength: They’re the strongest of all. Their body is very tall and the muscles are big. Unfortunately they’re slow, but their attacks do a lot of damage (e.g. Venus, Queen)

The abilities of the ones that are in this post:

Some chōjin can have superpowers. Here’s the categories about this section:

With powers: They’re born with superpowers, maybe thanks for their chōjin parents. It’s possible that some chōjin can learn some magic pratice, and then they could have powers (e.g. Chess, has the chess piece, that are a power based on the trasformation of her body, CyberBabe, has the electric power and she can use a laser vision, she can also use the self destruction thanks to her bombs).

With powers given by an object: They have an object that is magic, this can improve their abilities (e.g. Brianna with her cape she can fly and attacks the others, Venus with her Madness Mask can improve her strength and speed and Ilse with the Mystery Skull can use the Red Rain of Berlin).

Without powers: Even they’re without powers they aren’t useless! (e.g. Michiko, she can use the Face Flash, but doesn’t works on anything, not yet.. ,Gazellin, Queen)

Gorizilla: considerations.

So, we all know that MLB team put some (a lot) of hints here and there, or strange coincidences (like the owl paintings in Mr. Damocles’ office, or the fox one’s at Alya’s place).

I was rewatching Gorizilla for the 3rd time (yeah, too little) and I decided to put some random things I noticed in here, since at this point this blog is a crossover between The Sims and MLB.

First, when Gabriel go to Adrien’s room, the phone said it was playing  Chopin - Prelude No. 15 in D-flat major, which I think is also called Raindrop, the same that appears in The Collector.

1. Gorizilla, 2. The Collector

I know nothing about Classic Music, so please be merciful, but I’ve listened to it a couple of time and it doesn’t remind me of the one played in the show, but the general atmosphere reminds me a lot of the song in Emilie Agreste’s movie in Gorizilla.

This could be a coincidence due to the budget since it’s esier to use the same texture and the same sound in a scene, but I can’t not notice that Adrien uses this song the two times he “argues” with his father. Maybe, again, these are just coincidences (I can’t remember Adrien using the piano other times, but feel free to correct me) - confirmed not to be Raindrop.

Now, lets talk about the title, Raindrop. It seems clear to me that rain is used in the most emotional parts, where something important is happening (I will probably have difficulties to explain this clear in english).

From what I remember we saw the rain three times (maybe four, but I can’t remember).

1. Princess Fragrance, 2. Origins, 3. Gorizilla

In Princess Fragrance, the rain forces Marinette to meet Master Fu for the first time (sure, she helped him crossing the street when she was only Marinette, but she doesn’t seem to have memories of it). In Origins there’s rain and there’s an umbrella, and this is exactly the moment when a connection is created between Adrien and Marinette. Now, if you look at Gorizilla, the rain is in Emilie’s movie, and there is also an umbrella, but she walks alone and the title is Solitude. Also, in both moments, piano music plays but the atmosphere that you can feel is the opposite. Don’t tell me this is a coincidence, I don’t believe you, not even if Thomas tells me directly that nothing is intended in these similarities/oppsites.

“Pacto ille solent mihi inquam diceret quo ludus”

It’s latin, and it’s the caption that appears in every photo posted by the fans of Adrien. At the moment I write this I asked Thomas, but he hasn’t answered yet and I don’t know if he will. I studied Latin years ago and I can’t remember much, so if anyone can help it’s really appreciated.

To be this out of place it must mean something, or it’s a troll from the production - confirmed to be filler/placeholder text and Jean Tretiens to be a troll name.

I don’t know if we ever hear his name, but the Bodyguard/Babysitter/Gorilla could have a name that starts with G., in fact, when Wayhem takes his phone and calls Adrien, this is the name that appears on his phone (or maybe Adrien calls him Gorilla too - confirmed).

It’s the second third time we hear Nooroo speak if I don’t remember wrong.

And it’s the first time we se Hawkmoth trasformation, making me think that maybe we are going to see Gabriel becoming Hawkmoth more in future episodes.

In the end, Hawkmoth managed to akumatize him, through a similar situation.

1. Gorizilla, 2. Gigantitan

I knew nothing about the episode Gigantitan and at the moment I saw the akuma I really thought the Giant was the bodyguard due to his shape.

Simon said it, both for Gabriel and for the bodyguard.

The car ad at the beginning is the same of the one in Prime Queen. I can’t read what the plate says, but I think this will be connected with a future episode (maybe an akuma or a new carachter). Or it’s just a budget thing again.

1-2. Gorizilla, 3. Prime Queen

Things written in the movie. I don’t remember any other references in the show about Graham Films, nor about the symbol, but we know a person named A. Bourgeois, aka André Bourgeois, Chloé’s father. But, as many of us noticed, André is already Paris mayor and owns an hotel, that’s why it has been theorized that A. could refer to Chloé’s mother, and this also could explain why Adrien and Chloé know eachother, since their mothers worked together in a movie. With this movie we also know the name of Adrien’s mother, which is Emilie, and, considering her surname is Agreste, we can think that she was already married to Gabriel at the time (same for Chloé’s mother if it’s her).

An interesting fact about this movie is that Adrien says this can’t be found on the internet, that Gabriel owns the only DVD and that it is shown only that day on that theatre (if I understood right). Some questions and theories came to my mind: Adrien’s says he has never seen the movie, leading me to think that or he wasn’t born yet, or he was to little to “watch” it. Also, he says it’s special because his mother has the leading role, so maybe his mother isn’t in fact an actress, and this was the “first” and only movie she played. Theory is: maybe A. Burgeois wanted to do this movie for a specific reason (maybe it’s a particular movie made for something considering it’s black and white), he/she was friend with the Agreste and thought that Emilie fit the role, and that’s why no one seem to adress Emilie as a famous person, despite she’s the wife of vip Gabriel. See, the cinema was basically empty, despite (I guess) everyone knows she’s part of the well known Agreste family, leading me to think that she has lived in the shadow the whole life (as his husband), without doing a job that made her name famous, unlike Gabriel (again, it’s difficult to me to explain this in English).

I also question myself if that day and that cinema has something special, maybe an anniversary or something, important just for a few people. At this point I ask myself why Gabriel seems not to remeber/consider this “day” special. Is he still too hurt about watching his wife captured in real life and not through a painting? Or something happened during the creation of the movie? Something between the Agreste and the Burgeois?

Gabriel, speaking of trust to Adrien, hides THIS thing under the mansion. The quality is not 1080p and the pics don’t give you the idea, but if you watch this part of the episode again, you can see that under the bridge there’s something that can resemble roots, roots of the (at this point) tree that can be seen in the center. I don’t know if this is a pure design style, but the disposition is very similar to a cathedral, leading me to think that the light thing that we see reclined on the tree could be a sarcophagus/coffin with Emilie inside, a very well conserved Emilie’s body inside. BUT, this is just what the majority of adult (?) people can think of. In fact, this is a show for kids, it’s pastel, it’s fun and it’s something where no one gets really injured in the end. But I still think, considering the initial concept of MLB anime, how much dark can this plot become? Because the idea of Gabriel taking care of Emilie’s corpse is intruing, but I don’t think it’s child friendly. Oh well, it COULD be child friendly IF it’s something like Disney’s Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. Knowing this, I think an essay can be write with all the theories and such around these frames, but I’m not really the one who speaks with so little blurred distant hints.

In the end, two blue paintings on both sides of Gabriel’s studio. I don’t know that they are but paintings don’t lie in this show.
