The way you draw noses, ears, bodies, fur, it looks like of I were to reach my hand out I could actually feel it, the bumps in the skin the squish of the flesh the softness of the hair. how old is sgt. floyd pepper actually tho?

cuz I know he said he was 43 in 2016 (making him 50 now), which tbf is already unlikely cuz that would have made him 2 when the band first performed in 1975.

but we also now know that he is significantly older than animal. we know that before floyd adopted animal, teeth had already graduated from university, making him realistically at least 23. Its unclear how much older floyd is than teeth, but we know it takes an average of 8 years to become a sergeant, and we don't know how long he served as a sergeant. it's unclear how long teeth worked at the family practice after graduating, or the length of time between floyd and teeth forming a band and floyd adopting animal, so we'll cancel that out too. so overall we know he's probably at least 24 when he adopts animal, but he could be much older.

by the time the band performs in 1975 (and signs the standard famous rock start contract on Jan 7th) animal is grown. again, we have no basis for how old animal is. I'd like to assume performing on a show called "sex and violence" that he is at least 18. this would mean, again conservatively, that floyd is at least 42.

bringing his minimum age in 2023 to 83. minimum. realistically he's probably a lot older. (this means he was born in 1940 at the latest).

Hey folks who go "This character wouldn't go for this gender"...

We get it. You're a certain way and so you tend to see the world through your own personalised filter. So do I and everyone else, though. Are we not valid?

And sure, no one is forcing you to consume content that makes you uncomfortable. You can avert your eyes any time, as long as you try to be tactful about it and not hurt anyone.

But just for once I'd like to see a "I'm [a certain way] and I don't hate on people who have it different" post instead. Just like I'm figting my own decades long programming by exposing myself to pretty pictures and stories whenever the two people/characters make sense to me, you might wanna do that with whatever makes you uncomfortable for whatever reason.

You know why? Because you're kinda being just like the people who say these things about your deal. The very people you might've been hurt by your whole life. And I don't feel like you mean to send this sort of signal (I hope you don't).

It doesn't feel nice having to read these comments. It doesn't feel nice having your choice devaluated, for any reason. Maybe consider that the next time you feel like dropping a post.
