(The drawings/tattoos that are used to illustrate the tattoos the boys get in this story are in no way mine and I do not take credit for them in any way (there’s a reason I’m a writer, I can’t draw to save my life 🤣). They are only used to show what the boys wanted tattooed on them by their mate. Credit where Credit is due)
Seeing them was odd, it always had been. It was very rare that I was on the boardwalk after the sun went down and when I was I always had someone with me who walked me to my car, and always freshly after sunset. I knew the boardwalk was a dangerous place at night and honestly, I preferred to avoid it, even if the night life is more fun for everyone.
Unfortunately I had to take this shift for a coworker for the rest of the week at least, and was stuck here until the Tattoo shop closed at 2am, and the only reason I’m not complaining is because people seem much more willing to tip better at night. The Lost Boys were a biker gang, and while I couldn’t deny that they are attractive and that they look like a lot of fun, I also knew better. They parked their bikes across from the shop every night, from what I could tell they enjoy pissing off Max, the video store owner, though I don’t know why.
I tried very hard not to make eye contact with any of them, just not looking up at them at all as I finished my tattoo, which was a pinup of a mermaid, and covered it up with plastic wrap, quickly checking the guy out and accepting my 30 dollar tip before shutting the register on my finger which instantly made me yelp in pain and see a trickle of blood coming from my finger. Thankfully it was only a little cut and it wouldn’t hinder my work as I sucked off the blood and quickly disinfected it, wrapping a tight bandaid around it. Just as I moved to my station to clean everything my eyes flickered up as if by instinct and caught all 4 of the boys staring at me intently which startled me but I quickly looked away and tried to calm my racing heart by getting rid of the inky water at my station. Just as I was about to put my ink away and read my book I heard footsteps walk into the front.
‘Hello, welcome to Ink-Well Tattoo Shop, if you’d like to look at my books they’re on the shelf.’ I told them, just turning around as I finished talking and coming face to face with the bleach blond leader that had been staring at me only a moment ago.
‘Ink-Well…is that a reference to an ink container people used to have on their desks or how good you are at your job?’ He asked…softly? I had always imagined their voices to be deep and dark, especially his, but while it was deep it was also gentle, at least while speaking to me right now it was but I could tell that soft voice wasn’t always so soft.
‘I think you’re the first person to prove me wrong, the owner said, “Everyone knows what an inkwell is”…no one knows what it is. And personally, I would describe my abilities much better than “well”. I’m incredible, do you know what you want today, sir?’ I asked, moving around him only to find the dark haired one right behind him and I realized how tall he really is as I almost slammed my face into his naked chest. I looked around, seeing the other two beside my chair and I took a deep breath. ‘Which one of you is getting inked today?’ I asked and the twisted sister look-alike jumped up excitedly.
‘Oh! Me! I want to do it!’ He seemed to be begging which was a strange thought as the leader nodded and he jumped to sit in the chair.
‘Okay, I’m Y/n, it’s nice to meet you.’ I held out my hand and he took it in his own, pulling me closer before kissing my hand tenderly which made my blood rush to my face. The idea that these boys are soft and sweet and gentle in any way shape or form is really screwing with me. Their presence had always been a tad bit scary with the vibe they gave off, sexy or not (and they definitely are), but for the first time that I’m seeing them it’s like they’re not projecting dangerous vibes and it was a comfort in this situation being alone with all of them.
‘I’m Paul. This is Marko, Dwayne and you met David. Y/n, I like that name.’ He flirted and I rolled my eyes, handing him a book full of images of my work.
‘I’m glad, do you know what you want to get Paul?’ I asked, and he smiled as he looked at my work, all of them now watching as he flipped through the pages.
‘I want a vampire bat on my chest. Are you able to do that?’ He questioned, looking up at me as Marko took the book and I nodded, sitting in my seat beside him.
‘Were you looking for it to be realistic, like a portrait? Because if you want something like that it’s a 6-7 hour minimum piece and I would need you to come back during the day-‘
‘Oh, we can only be here at night, I want something smaller anyway. Not cartoony but-‘
‘You want a badass vampire bat, I get you. I can definitely do that. How big are you looking to get it?’ He jumped to pull off his jacket which jingled with all the stuff he had hanging off of it before stripping off his tank top.
‘Like maybe, this big?’ He showed me the area of his chest he wanted covered and I nodded.
‘Okay, let me draw that up and we’ll see if you like it.’ It was a relatively small tattoo and he watched, leaning over the chair as I sketched it out and he was smiling the whole time, staring at me.
‘You’re really pretty, has anyone told you that?’ He asked and I rolled my eyes.
‘Surf Nazis say shit every day-though they usually go with “hot”, “sexy”, “great rack”. Things like that, pretty is a new one though, thank you.’ I knew my face was red as he watched me draw, Marko suddenly beside me, setting a chair near Paul’s feet.
‘They bother you a lot, Angel?’ He wondered and I shrugged, my face darkening even more as he called me that.
‘All day long, they’re probably the most annoying customers so my boss takes all of them since they started getting a bit too comfortable and handsy with me and the other girl. I have her evening closing shift for the week so, if they show up I get to tell them to “fuck off” which is awesome.’ I joked and they laughed along with me.
‘Well, we’ll need to make sure they don’t bother you anymore, won’t we boys?’ It was the first time David spoke again and I looked up to see him watching me draw over my shoulder.
‘Fuck yeah, no one’s gonna be bothering our Princess.’ Paul cheered and it was weirdly comforting to hear that they wanted to protect me.
‘Please, just leave it alone? They don’t know I’m working nights now so it’s all fine, and I’ll only be doing it for the week. What do you think? Do you think he looks mean enough?’ I asked, showing Paul my drawing.
‘Princess, that’s incredible! It somehow looks cute and vicious…like Marko!’ He teased, getting punched in the chest immediately.
‘Okay, punch each other all you’d like outside, but if you make his skin swell where I need to ink then I’ll hit you myself.’ I told Marko, moving to make a stencil for the tattoo that Paul wanted, nearly running into Dwayne again, who just watched me.
‘Don’t mind him, he’s quiet but honestly, he’s the nicest of all of us…usually.’ David spoke and I smiled, quickly making the stencil.
‘Would you tattoo me tomorrow night?’ A new deep voice asked and I looked up to see it had been Dwayne. I paused to pick my chin up from the floor at the sound of his sexy deep baritone voice before shaking off and answering him.
‘Of course. Do you know what you want done, because I can do anything you want but depending on the style you want I might recommend a coworker. Say you wanted Japanese, I would recommend Kevin, he is fucking killer at that stuff and if you want anything American Traditional he is bomb at it.’ I had said this because of the American Traditional rose tattoo I could see peeking out on his side though he quickly shook his head.
‘I want you. I want something like this.’ he showed me the dreamcatcher piece I had put in my book and I smiled.
‘This is one of the best tattoos I ever did, and it was so much fun! Do you want it that size?’ He nodded his head.
‘Yes, but a bit more along the Native American type style? I’d like it to look like it’s braided together…could you do that?’ He looked unsure but I just kept smiling.
‘Of course I can! Let me draw a couple of things up tonight for you and you can see what you like best tomorrow. I’m sure I can give you something perfect!’ For the first time the corners of his mouth turned up and he smiled down at me-his smile was hot cute.
‘I know you can Babygirl.’ I was startled but after hearing Marko and Paul I realized that they seem to have a thing for nicknames so I ignored it.
‘Alright Paul, stencil is done.’ I spoke, sitting back down beside him. Most of his chest hair was in the center of his chest so I didn’t need to shave where he wanted the tattoo before placing the stencil and squeezing out the inks I would need. ‘Are you ready, rockstar?’ I asked him and he grinned as I called him that.
‘Hell Yeah Princess! Ink me up!’ We chatted as I tattooed him, him and Marko keeping me engaged with the conversation but I noticed David and Dwayne off on their own and speaking seriously for a while. The tattoo took about an hour, maybe a bit more before I was finished, turning off the machine and wiping his chest down.
‘What do you think?’ I waited for his reaction after handing him a mirror to see it more clearly and he turned it away from me instantly, seeming uncomfortable before looking down at his chest instead of at the reflection and grinning at the new ink on his body.
‘Princess! This is amazing!’ He exclaimed, placing the mirror face down and moving to hug me.
‘Ah-Ah! It’s sensitive! Don’t you dare destroy my work!’ I warned, turning to lay some plastic wrap over it and tape it down after David and Dwayne looked at it.
‘You’re really talented. I’m gonna have to go after Dwayne.’ David told me, watching as I cleaned up.
‘You’ll have to go the next night cause Dwayne’s is going to take me until closing at least…what time can you get here tomorrow?’ I asked him.
‘I’ll be here right after the sun goes down, I promise.’
‘Okay, so that’s about 8. I’ll be sure my last client will be done by then. Where do you want it, by the way?’ He opened his jacket, showing me the right side of his chest and making me blush. ‘Got it. I’ll have a few options for you tomorrow. For now, Paul, that’ll be 45.’ I finished putting everything away as it was now 10 minutes after closing time.
‘Here you go Princess, be safe getting home, you hear?’ He warned and I nodded, Paul, Marko and Dwayne walking out and leaving me with David for a moment and I froze under his intense stare.
‘Paul is right you know…you really are beautiful.’ He complimented, his gloved hand holding my chin for a moment before walking out and letting me shut the gate to the front before realizing Paul had given me a 100 dollar bill which is a 55 dollar tip…maybe I can like these boys after all.
What I didn’t know was, as I walked out the back door and locked it once the place was all clean, I was being watched. I made my way down the boardwalk, grabbing a burger and fries, along with a coke, shoving the food in my bag and sipping my soda as I walked off the boardwalk and all the way home.
Unlike every other night I had walked in the dark before, I felt…safe? I wasn’t looking around like a crazy person waiting to get jumped, I just walked home and crashed into bed.
I live in an apartment with a roommate, Justin, who is always out at his girlfriends (whoever that is this week) which left me alone most of the time and I loved it. I put in a video I had rented from the video store next door earlier that day, it was a new horror movie, Hellraiser. Strange premise, awesome movie.
That’s how I fell asleep that night, around 3:30 am, and all the while 4 sets of yellow eyes watched from the trees outside.
I got to work the next night at 6 as my boss left and set my sketchbook on my table, taking 2 quick tattoos before telling the last walk-in that I didn’t have time, knowing as the sun began to set Dwayne would be coming for his tattoo and I was excited to see which one he picked. I had set up everything I would need and just as I was scheduling a tattoo for a coworker to do tomorrow for a walk-in, I heard the rumble of bikes coming down the boardwalk making me smile. ‘Okay, Kevin will take you tomorrow at noon, is that alright?’ I asked the annoyed girl who clearly just wanted her tattoo now.
‘Still don’t get why you can’t just take me now.’ She bitched and I fought to not roll my eyes as 4 sets of heavy boots stomped through the front.
‘I can’t take you now because I’m tattooing him now. Your appointment is for noon tomorrow.’ She turned and as she saw the boys she quickly ran out the front and was gone, startling me. ‘I should employ you as security here from now on.’ I teased, grabbing my book and walking over to my chair.
‘We can do that for you at night.’ Marko agreed, a grin on his face which seemed to always be grinning honestly.
‘Well I’m only working here for the week at nights so you won’t see me after that-‘
‘No! You need to keep working nights Angel, what are we supposed to do without you here?’ Marko complained.
‘Come on, the night life is more fun anyway Princess!’ I rolled my eyes, opening my book.
‘I’ll think about it. Okay, this is the first one I did, I went simple cause I didn’t know how detailed you wanted everything. Usually I put in too much detail and people hate it.’
‘It’s nice, but I was hoping for something more intricate.’ He told me and I smiled.
‘Okay, I went a little bigger with this one, but my personal favorite is this one.’ I showed him the third one and his eyes widened. ‘I researched some Native American dream catchers and tried to make it as real as I could…do you like it?’ He nodded his head slowly and I was worried for a moment.
‘It looks like the one my Ma made me when I was a kid…it’s perfect Babygirl, thank you.’ I was touched by that.
‘This is why I love my job, you can tattoo memories for people that they get to keep for a lifetime. Don’t thank me yet though, not until it’s done, I already made the stencil for it, I just knew you would pick this one! Take off your jacket.’ I told him, grabbing the stencil and looking at Paul. ‘Let me see how it’s healing rockstar.’ He hesitated for a moment before pulling his shirt up and I was stunned. ‘Holy shit!’ I stood, moving to him and touching his chest. ‘You…you heal fast don’t you?’
‘Way fast, it looks great Princess.’ He pecked my cheek before sitting next to Marko and I moved back to my chair, removing my jacket and getting ready to place the stencil. ‘Damn girl! You are tatted up!’ I tried to stop the blush that came in but I couldn’t, smiling as they all inspected my skin which had both of my sleeves done.
‘Yeah, I don’t know any tattooers who don’t have tattoos, and if you find one, don’t go to them.’ I teased, peeling the stencil off and turning on my machine to begin inking the shirtless God.
‘I need food, you guys want anything? Dwayne? Angel?’ Marko offered a little later, just as I was finishing the outlines.
‘I wouldn’t mind a coke.’ I told him and he grinned, jumping to go get food with Paul behind him. ‘How are you feeling Dwayne? Okay?’
‘I’m fine, how are you?’ He countered and I rolled my eyes.
‘I’m trying to make sure you’re not getting dizzy or are gonna pass out on me, you’re still as a statue and barely breathing. Don’t be a smartass.’
‘I’m fine, I promise. You have beautiful eyes…’ he mumbled and I just blushed, beginning to detail the braided base before moving to the feathers.
I finished the tattoo just before 2 and it came out perfectly, prompting me to hand him the mirror which he grabbed as Paul had and turned it away from me though I could swear it looked like he didn’t have any reflection at all. ‘Alright, you’re all finished. Is it what you wanted?’ I asked and he nodded, looking down at his chest.
‘You have no idea how perfect this is. Thank you Babygirl.’ He leaned down and kissed my cheek as I rang him up and I was once again bright red.
‘Look at that cute little blush!’ Marko exclaimed and he and Paul laughed like crazy. ‘Everything you do is just so cute Angel!’ He was teasing me and I wanted to hate it but I didn’t, it filled my stomach with butterflies and I was feeling awful about how badly I wanted to jump all of them.
‘Shut up.’ I grumbled and began closing up, all of them moving to hug me in one way or another.
‘We’ll see you tomorrow night Kitten.’ David told me and it felt almost like a warning, daring me not to be here which made me excited.
For the rest of the week they were there, David and Marko both getting tattoos of their own before Paul decided to get a bigger piece, dedicating a whole sleeve to his rockstar image which I found cute, starting with a killer electric guitar and lyrics from the song Lost in the Shadows. That next night was my last night on the boardwalk, going back to the dayshift the next day which they complained about loudly, insisting I switch my schedule so they could see me.
That night as I started my shift I was immediately bothered by Surf Nazis, a few of the assholes noticing me in the shop alone. I had kicked them out and the security escorted them off the boardwalk (which I knew wouldn’t last long). The boys didn’t show up at 8 like they normally did and I was a bit disappointed but I knew they would find something shiny and new to love eventually, guys like that always do.
Around 10 o’clock the assholes were back, 3 of them now walking around the shop and getting too comfortable.
‘Don’t touch me!’ I snapped as I cleaned my station, deciding to close early tonight and just take the loss if it got them away from me, their hands pinching me now and then before the one with the giant Mohawk pulled me to his chest and pinned me to the counter. ‘Let Me Go!’ I growled, punching at him as hard as I could but not making him budge.
‘Come on sweetheart, just spend the night with us, I promise you’ll have the time of your life.’ He teased just before I brought my knee up and hit him straight in the crotch, a high pitched noise escaping him before he collapsed.
‘Get the fuck out!’ His 2 friends helped him up before practically carrying him out and I pulled the gates at the front shut, locking them and making my way down the boardwalk. Unlike the last 5 nights, I was uneasy and scared again, hating the long walk in the darkness which is what made me hesitate as I got to the parking lot before trying to quickly get to the next street and away from the rowdy people. I wasn’t even halfway through the parking lot when I was grabbed, tight hands clamped around my waist and mouth as I was hauled down the beach no matter how hard I kicked before being dropped by a bonfire.
‘Hi there.’ The asshole from earlier greeted and I rolled my eyes.
‘Get the fuck away from me!’ I snapped, trying to get up only to be shoved back down onto my ass, realizing there were 4 of them now all looking down at me like it was the funniest joke ever told.
‘Oh, come on! We’re gonna have a great time, you just need to relax.’ There were suddenly hands on me from behind pulling at my jacket and I tried to pull my arms back, kicking my legs out and hitting the one in front of me in the stomach before two of them pinned me on my back on the sand.
‘You’re gonna pay for that, bitch.’ He snarled and just as he knelt down over me there was a loud shrieking sound from behind him and they all turned towards their friend that had screamed. I couldn’t sit up to see from where I was but as both men holding me suddenly let me go I knew whatever it was, it wasn’t good. As more screams rang out I rolled over, crawling along the sand and keeping my head down before seeing boots below my face that I recognized instantly.
‘David?’ I questioned, looking up and stiffening as I saw blood covering his mouth and jaw but strangely, I didn’t feel any real fear like I had moments ago.
‘Are you alright Kitten? The one night we’re late.’ He teased, leaning down and lifting me up to my feet. I turned around as the screaming suddenly cut off and saw all 4 Surf Nazi’s dead and covered in blood. I had to swallow to keep from getting sick as I saw several limbs no longer attached to their original bodies, Paul and Dwayne covered in blood much the same as David while Marko held one of the assholes in his grip with his…fangs…in the man’s neck.
‘Holy shit…’ They all looked at me now, their faces distorted but they didn’t look angry like I would expect, more concerned as they all looked at me, Marko dropping the now dead body.
‘Relax Kitten, it’s alright. You’re safe now.’ David told me and I took a deep breath, not feeling scared in the least.
‘Vampires…makes sense…only coming out at night. The mirror thing…that’s why you heal so fast! Totally unfair!’ I whined, realizing why their tattoos healed so quickly as they stepped closer to me, Dwayne having cleaned off his face as best he could before looking me over quickly.
‘Are you hurt? We got here as quickly as we could, we-‘
‘I’m fine! It’s alright…thank you for saving me…I’m going to have to switch to working nights after all, aren’t I?’ I joked making David snort beside me while he lit a cigarette.
‘Or you could quit and just tattoo us exclusively.’ Paul proposed. ‘For the rest of eternity.’
‘W-wait, you mean-‘
‘You think we show just anyone what we really are?’ Marko wondered.
‘You were meant to be one of us Princess-knew you were ours since the moment you sliced your finger and we smelled your blood, no changing that.’ The pothead laughed making me roll my eyes before feeling David’s arm around my waist, covering my neck in blood as he nuzzled me which was a uniquely gross feeling.
‘He’s right Kitten. You ain’t gettin away from us, might as well accept it…you, our little mate, were born to be a vampire.’

Michael Emerson was tucked safely in bed in his new room that night. Sure, he was a little pissed off about that girl…okay, he was downright agitated. He felt desperate to meet someone, anyone in Santa Carla, and he had his heart set on the cute brunette from the boardwalk. The image of her face was seared into his mind, her smile beaming at him whenever he closed his eyes. He needed to know who she was, and he didn’t care if the guys she hung out with were criminals or low lives or gang bangers. In the morning, he’d go out and look for a job, and in the evening, he’d head to the boardwalk without his annoying little brother so that he might actually have a chance to find his mystery girl and have a real conversation with her.
Yeah, he had it all planned out. He had noticed how the bikers dressed, with their leather jackets and dangly earrings. There was bound to be a spot in town where he could find himself a jacket and some cooler sunglasses than the ones he already owned. If that girl liked bad boys, then he could make himself look the part, couldn’t he? Sam would probably give him shit for it, but he didn’t know anything. He paraded around in oversized designer shirts all day and stuck out like a sore thumb everywhere he went. At least Michael was making an attempt to fit in.
As he tried and failed to get to sleep, he wondered who that girl was. Santa Carla was a weird place full of weird people, but she looked so…nice. So normal. She didn’t look like she should be hanging around guys like that. And what was the deal with her grumpy friend? Michael thought she was hot, too, but more in a way that made him feel like she might cut his balls off, and he wasn’t so sure he was into that…and besides, she had totally made out with the Twisted Sister reject, hadn’t she? And that guy had glared daggers at Michael, so it was probably a better idea not to go after girls with boyfriends.
His eyes suddenly shot open.
Did the brunette have a boyfriend?
She hadn’t seemed all that thrilled to climb on the back of Billy Idol’s bike, but the guy hadn’t forced her. She went willingly, away from Michael and straight towards him, but there wasn’t any kissing or groping or even words exchanged. So were they together? Did things like that even matter in Santa Carla? Michael was the new guy in town, and that gang had all been watching him like they wanted to kick his ass just for being there. Backing off would be the smart thing to do, the thing least likely to get him beat up. He knew he should probably just cut his losses and accept that he wasn’t cool enough for a girl who hung out with guys like that, and he knew that he probably didn’t want to get involved with whatever wild shit that gang got into. But was he gonna give up? Was he gonna do the smart thing?
Hell no.
He rolled over, trying to get comfortable. Yeah, tomorrow he’d go work on his new look, and he’d totally win that girl over. At the very least, maybe if he looked the part, the guys she hung around might respect him. He already had a bike, even if it wasn’t as cool as theirs, and a new city meant that he could leave his old self behind and make something new. The thought was a comfort, and he finally drifted off to sleep, safe and sound, oblivious to the horrors that so often plagued Santa Carla at night.
-0-
Those horrors had names, of course.
“Marko! Hurry it up!” David snapped from the cave entrance.
“I’m coming, Christ!” Marko rolled his eyes, letting the pigeon he held in his hand go to fly up to its roost.
“You pay more attention to those damn birds than you do me,” David sneered as Marko approached.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm. “I didn’t realize I was neglecting you, dear…”
David wrinkled his nose as Marko put a hand on his chest and leaned in, batting his eyelashes. “You’re obnoxious.”
“I’ll be sure to have dinner on the table by four, honey, please forgive me—“
“Hey, uh, what about my dinner?” Paul asked impatiently. “You’re holdin’ us up, David said he had somethin’ exciting planned—“
“Can’t you tell I’m smoothing things over with my loving husband?” Marko snapped at him, dropping the atomic housewife act entirely.
“Yeah, well I’m hungry!” Paul hissed.
A moment later they were lunging at each other, and Vera was cackling in delight from her perch on Dwayne’s back. David still hadn’t told any of them who he was planning on hunting, but now that they were all back together again and all the sad talk seemed to be behind them, she was just glad to be going out to feed in the first place. She could really go for a bite after such a weird evening.
Laddie and Star were in bed already, the former asleep while the latter stayed up to read a book and fantasize about the boy she had met on the boardwalk. By the time Vera and David had gotten back from visiting Max, Star had already tucked herself away behind the silks and lace, and they had more pressing matters to attend to than bothering her.
Like corralling Paul and Marko and encouraging them to at least make their way outside while they fought.
“Where are we going?” Dwayne asked as he stepped around Marko’s flailing arms, very narrowly avoiding his claws.
“Back towards town,” David smirked.
“Who do you wanna go after?” Vera asked, resting her chin on Dwayne’s shoulder as he carried her.
David’s smirk turned into a grin. “Greg and Shelly.”
Dwayne paused in surprise, and then his lips spread into a grin of his own. A dangerous growl started up in the back of his throat, a low, guttural sound that Vera could feel in her very bones. He was already breathing hard in anticipation, the dark brown of his irises melting into that striking, predatory gold that signified shifting. His grip on her legs tightened and she felt claws piercing her flesh, and when she looked at the others, she saw that they were faring similarly. Paul and Marko were back on their feet already, Paul trembling with excitement while Marko gnawed at his thumb, both staring at David with wild eyes.
He just laughed that cruel laugh and took to the sky.
Vera could have let go of Dwayne to fly on her own, but he was still holding onto her as he leapt after David. She had to bite her lip to keep herself from laughing at his eagerness to tear Greg limb from limb, and as they flew along the bay, the boys kept filling her head with images of what they wanted to do to their victims.
Paul was hoping to rip Shelly’s throat out, plain and simple. He’d been waiting forever to finally eat her, and he wasn’t going to waste any time if he got to her first. Marko was planning on gutting Greg like a pig, taking extra pleasure in imagining how his guts would spill out of him and the look on his face when he realized what was happening. David just wanted to tear them both apart, go for a major artery—whichever he found first—and let the blood spray out as their terrified hearts pumped it out for him.
And Dwayne wanted to pull Greg’s spine out, clean and fast and simple.
Vera felt a shiver run through her. She didn’t know whose thoughts to focus on, the four of them all too excited to quiet down. This was more chaotic than when they had hunted Vernon down, and they were more vicious this time around. She could tell how much they absolutely loathed Greg, and Shelly was just an unfortunate girl who was into the wrong slimeball.
What’s the deal with these two, anyway? She asked, trying to send her thoughts cutting through the barrage of gore they were all thinking up. She’d encountered the humans before, sure, and they were less than chill, but she got the feeling they had a lot more history than she had seen.
Greg’s a grade A piece of shit, Paul answered.
He loves to hate us, Marko added. Thinks he’s real hot shit ‘cause he’s in a surf gang. They tear up our town like they own the place.
He’s an obnoxious piece of shit who thinks he runs the boardwalk, David drawled. Been on my shit list since the day we met him months ago. It’s finally time to give him a piece of my mind.
Why now? Vera asked.
Because it’s time we put our foot down. David growled. This is our boardwalk. It’s time we started acting like it again. Things are changin’ and I’m not sittin’ by anymore.
Yeah! Paul agreed. I’ve been waitin’ for this one for so long…
I know, David grinned, laughing darkly. Now let’s fucking go.
They erupted in a series of shouts that sounded more like howls, too excited to give a shit about being quiet. If anyone down on the ground heard them, they might inclined to think Santa Carla was haunted by some sort of ghouls or banshees…but more than likely, any humans who were still out at such a late hour were too fucked up or too tired to put much stock into the unearthly cries up in the clouds. They were most likely ignored, written off as just another one of those weird Santa Carla things that tended to just happen, and as Vera clung to Dwayne’s back, she found herself glad to be living (un-living?) in a place where vampires seemed able to be themselves.
“There they are,” she heard Paul growl.
She looked down and saw that they had reached a scruffy stretch of beach, and Vera recognized it as the sort of place young couples drove out to in order to spend some quality time together. The bright lights of the boardwalk were still shining across the water, the roller coaster looking especially beautiful from so far away. Why hadn’t she and the boys ever wandered out that way to relax? It was the perfect spot to bring some beers and have a private party. It seemed like Greg and Shelly might be onto something, if Paul’s nose was right and they were there.
Sure enough, at the very top of the hill, parked all alone and looking particularly vulnerable, was a tan car…and Vera could see it rocking slightly.
“Oh, gross,” Marko bared his teeth in an eager grin.
Dwayne shrugged Vera off of his back and she reluctantly let go of him, hovering in the air as she watched him roll his shoulders. He returned Marko’s grin and then looked at Paul, whose eyes were yellow and wild and full of that crazed hunger they were all feeling, and together, the two of them dove for the car.
“Quit!” Vera heard Shelly’s laugh from the backseat.
“C’mon,” Greg said between playful growls, his voice muffled. Let’s have some fun–”
Marko landed next to the car and gave it a light shove, grinning as he heard Shelly’s heartbeat suddenly speed up.
“What was that?” she hissed.
“What was what?” Greg asked.
“I thought I heard something…”
And then all hell broke loose, as usual.
“What is that?” Shelly shrieked as the roof of the car was torn off, Paul and Dwayne each holding a side.
The air was alive with the scent of terror, Greg and Shelly screaming so loudly that Vera thought their throats might start bleeding. It didn’t matter if they did or not, though–their time had come to an end, and when David landed on the hood of the car and they twisted to look at him, they ran out of things to scream about.
“C’mon, baby, what’s the matter?” Paul cackled, lunging towards Shelly. “Bat got your tongue?”
Because he did.
He did have her tongue, clamped between his teeth, bloody and floppy and horrifying as he tore it out of her mouth. She was silent, staring at her attacker with wide eyes, raising a shaky hand to her chin. Blood gushed out, painting her teeth and lips, but she didn’t scream, because she was so far beyond terror that she couldn’t do anything.
And then Paul and David dove in, and Shelly was history.
Greg was trying to shout, thrashing in Marko’s grip as he was lifted into the sky. Buckets of blood rained down, Dwayne tearing him open with dark red claws that could never really be scrubbed clean after something like this. Scraps of shredded clothing fluttered down through the air, and by the time Greg’s body was allowed to hit the ground again, it was little more than an unrecognizable chunk of meat.
Vera, whose very teeth were aching with hunger at this point, followed it down. Her boys were extremely messy eaters, and not particularly good at getting as much out of their meals as possible. When she descended on Greg’s mangled, barely-alive body, there was plenty of blood left for her to enjoy…so she shredded him the rest of the way and had a little fun with it.
It wasn’t long before they were all satisfied, faces and hands caked in blood, appetites satiated for the moment. The boys were still wild, chests heaving from the rush and the excitement even as they pushed the car into the sea and tossed the corpses in with it. They splashed around in the shallows, shoving each other, wrestling and fighting in the sand. Vera found herself dragged into the middle of it all, crushed beneath Paul as he was thrown down on top of her and hoisted onto Dwayne’s shoulders as he ran from Marko.
It was as if they hadn’t just murdered and eaten two humans, as if they were just normal people having fun on a summer night. The ocean air was invigorating, filling up lungs that didn’t always need to be filled, egging on monsters that didn’t need encouragement; they were having fun, and they were free, and in that moment, it seemed like there was nothing in the entire world that could change that.
-0-
“This is the life, huh?” David ginned, arm around Vera’s shoulders.
She glanced up at him. In the dark of the cave, his eyes seemed even brighter than they usually were, a piercing, unnatural yellow that shone even when there was no light to reflect off of them.
“You’re in a good mood,” she remarked, leaning down to pull her boots off.
“Been wantin’ to get rid of those two for a while now,” he said, stepping away to kick his own boots off. “One less annoyance to deal with.”
“Still plenty of others left, though.”
His expression soured. “Don’t remind me.”
“Didn’t think I had to.”
Vera watched as David huffed and then ascended to the rafters in a flash, gripping a beam with clawed feet and immediately crossing his arms over his chest as if he were already asleep. She rolled her eyes at his childish behavior and followed, shoving against his side until he relented another huff and slid an arm around her.
“Tomorrow, Star’ll find that guy again and that’ll finally be over with.” David grumbled.
“What makes you so sure she’ll kill him right away?” Vera asked.
“You don’t think she will?”
“I think she’s nervous.”
“She can’t afford to be nervous anymore.” He snapped. “If she knows what’s good for her, she’ll take care of puppy dog-eyes and finally join us.”
Vera frowned. “It can’t be fun, being caught in limbo like that. I mean, I don’t see the point in not committing fully at this point…”
“I can’t even remember being a half-vampire.” David shrugged. “Pretty sure I had my first kill immediately.”
“Alright, no need to brag.”
“What?” He smirked. “I was born for this life, baby.”
“Born to sleep all day?”
“And party all night.”
“Hell yeah!” Paul shouted as he flew to his roost, the rafter shaking with the force of his claws gripping it.
“Y’know, David…” Dwayne said, voice low and grumbly with sleep as he joined them and settled in.
“What, Dwayne?” He asked, sounding irritated.
“…you never told us what Max said earlier.”
David was silent for a moment, grumpily squaring his jaw before he spoke again. “He’s in love with that lady.”
The boys were silent for a moment.
“You mean like…” Marko trailed off.
“Yeah. I do.”
“The redhead from the shop?” Paul asked, scoffing.
“Yes. That one.” David grumbled.
“So why’s that our problem?” Marko huffed.
“Because he expects us to play nice,” David hissed.
“Because he wants to bring her into the family,” Vera interjected.
She was met with a series of growls and grumbles, the boys all glancing at each other warily.
“He sounded serious about it,” she added.
“And let me guess,” Marko drawled, “he expects us to do something about it.”
“…yeah, he mentioned something…”
“He said she’s got two sons,” David sighed. “He said we’ve met them.”
Paul rolled his eyes. “We meet a lot of dudes.”
“I don’t suppose he said anything more helpful,” Marko hissed.
“Of course not.” David snapped. “But he gave us their names. Sam and Michael.” His jaws parted in a wide yawn as he pulled Vera closer. “Tomorrow night we’ll find them and get a better look at who exactly the old man expects us to play nice with.”
“And Star’ll finally have a decent meal,” Marko grinned. “Big night.”
“Big night.” David agreed.
Big night, Vera thought, frowning to herself as she tried to settle in for the morning.

kinktober entry 2: body swap
Rating: Explicit Pairing: Paul x Darcy (oc) (side pairings of Darcy x all the lost boys) from the fic there's a heaven above you (don't you cry) Fandom: The Lost Boys Warnings: masturbation. lead up to sex. swearing. unbeta’d.
This one was a lot of fun. Thanks @burnincrown for suggesting it! I hope you like it!
kinktober masterlist
It’s official. She hates magic.
“Oh ho ho!” Her voice rings out across the cave, sounding strange from her current position. She feels weird like this. Tall, slender and oddly cognizant of everything around her. Especially the hair that seems to be everywhere. Also, it’s strange to feel his dick. Or…hers now.
“Darce, babe, you know how lucky you are to feel these all the time?” She hears her own voice ask. She scowls as she looks up.
“Stop fucking fondling me!”
“Not fondling you, I’m fondling me!” Paul shouts back, laughing, his hands still on her breasts. The others are watching them like it’s a tennis match.
“I don’t know what we’re supposed to do…” Marko admits.
David scowls. “Find the fucking witch and make them switch them back. I’m not fucking Paul for Darcy.”
“Chicken,” she calls back. Just because her body has changed doesn’t mean it’s not her.
He glowers back, already knowing what she’s not saying. “You wanna stay in his body?”
“Obviously not.”
“Then play nice while we fix this.”
“Just don’t get cursed yourself or kill her because you’re pissed off. If I’m stuck like this, I’m going to throw you into the sun,” she snaps.
“What? Come on…” Paul slides up to Dwayne in her body. “Don’t like what you see?” he teases.
“Tempting,” Dwayne says, looking at Darcy in Paul’s body. “Think of the possibilities…”
David sighs, motions for Marko to follow as he drags Dwayne out with them and Darcy is left with Paul. It’s hard not to look at her body and think of the imperfections she sees. Even from this angle. The scars Dwayne has created and left on her aren’t enough to cover the imperfections she can see from here.
“Stop it,” Paul demands in her voice. “I don’t look like that. Not when I look at you.”
“I’m not-”
Paul sighs and grabs the bottom of the shirt she was wearing before pulling it off. The image of her own breasts bouncing slightly is something she’d never thought she’d see from this angle without a mirror and her breath hitches as the blood rushes south. Darcy looks down. Huh. She knew she could turn herself on but she didn’t think it was like this.
“That’s what this feels like?”
Paul laughs. “Come on, babe. Let’s have some fun. I wanna know exactly what this feels like for you, don’t you?” He comes closer and Darcy feels strange to look down at herself and the look on his face. Her face.
He runs his fingers up her chest. Are her fingers always this soft? They create heat up the hard planes of Paul’s chest. “You know your body better than anyone, Darce. Show me what you like.” She watches as he reaches down into the shorts she was wearing and starts touching himself. His face scrunches up in confusion. “Why doesn’t this feel as good–”
“You’re not doing it right,” Darcy says. “You’re being too rough. Why do you think I always tell you…watch.”
Even in Paul’s body, she knows her own best. Paul gasps as she finds the right position and Darcy is left reeling when he returns the favour, wrapping his hand around the cock she’s the temporary owner of.
They don’t make it to any of the bedrooms.

Love at First Bite pt. 2💞
David/Female!OC & Male!OC/Female!OC
Summary: Sis can't stop thinking about the adorable redheaded waiter that treated her like the queen she is. Once she and the pack get to know him a little better, he'll see them for what they truly are~
This was inspired by @ghoulgeousimmaculate and her characters from the series Party the Pain Away and the various fics that take place afterwards. Ghoulie and I discussed the possibility of having another boy join the coven after so many girls were brought in. Please read part 1 if you haven't yet!
WARNINGS: Fic contains mentions of fear, emotional manipulation, power dynamics, toxic relationship dynamics, PDA, mentions of blood/murder, sex and alcohol. This has references to Ghoulie's stuff, and takes place in the modern world, not 1987. Part 3 HERE
"You're serious?"
"Absolutely! You should have seen him, hun. He was the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on"
It gave Gem quite a surprise to see her sister bride in such a cheery mood. After the last few difficult months for the pack, she had been worried about Sis and her psyche facing permanent damage. Becoming a vampire came with its own mental and physical tolls. What Cyrus had put them all through was an entirely new level of suffering.
And yet, here she was. All doe-eyed and sappy like a schoolgirl with a crush. The happiest she had been since her resurrection. Usually only being with her babies made Sis act like herself again. This human boy had to be pretty special.
"And you don't want to bring him over for a fuck and a meal?"
"Surprisingly, I don't. At least….not right now," Sis explained. She smiled to herself as she fell back onto the couch, putting her feet up on Gem's lap to relax. "I dunno, he was just such a sweet guy. Genuine, polite, doting. You don't see many boys like that anymore."
Gem smirked, rubbing her queen's legs as she listened to the story. Seeing her in such a good mood had Gem feel quite pleased as well. It made her quite curious as to what potential could be in a human.
"Well, we are due for a girl's night out. How about we ask the boys to watch the babies and then you, me, Babydoll and Red go out for some fun," Gem proposed. "You can introduce us to the human."
The mere idea made Sis' eyes sparkle in delight. She was already excited to pick out her outfit for such a special occasion. Something truly special for a well-deserved night of fun.
Oliver's shift honestly could have been better that night. He was out of the zone. Forgetting to put in a large order, giving three different tables the wrong drinks, and getting yelled at by an elderly couple for having the audacity to forget their senior discount. He felt so clumsy and careless. It was rather embarrassing.
What didn't help was that his coworkers were noticing. They had been in the game long enough to recognize when one of their fellow servers was having a rough night.
"Hey Ollie!" one server greeted him, making small talk while punching in an order. "You feeling alright? Need a smoke break?"
"No thank you, I don't smoke," Oliver explained as he tried to organize a messy stack of menus. "And I'm fine. I just…my mind hasn't been where I want it to be lately. I'm not usually like this, I swear."
The server smiled and gave Oliver a friendly pat on the back. He definitely had nights like that too.
"Something on your mind?"
"Well….someone actually."
Oliver knew exactly what was making him trip over himself and act like his head was in the clouds.
Sis. He could not stop thinking about her. Though he was grateful for her generosity when she paid him a large enough tip to pay his rent that month, that wasn't at all the reason he had such a deep infatuation.
She had this magic to her. Like an aura of true beauty. Though her curves and her flawless looks definitely showed how stunning she was on the outside, Oliver had a deep feeling that there was something truly remarkable about her on the inside too.
Growing up, he was taught that you could learn a lot about a person just by how they treated a stranger. Especially if that stranger was a poor, struggling service worker. The world wasn't always kind to people who had a difficult life.
He didn't know what it was about her, but he just had a feeling she understood him. That she knew compassion could go a long way.
"Well, Romeo, you might wanna get your head back in the game," the server interrupted his thoughts. "You got company."
"Salve signore! Right this way!"
Giuseppe had welcomed a group of ladies into the restaurant, ushering them to the back area just as he did the other night for David and Sis.
And speaking of which. The lady at the head of the pack was a familiar one. It was her.
Sis.
Once again she was all glammed up from head to toe, though instead of being out on a date with her husband, she seemed to be enjoying a girls' night out. The three other ladies that walked past the curtain were all quite stunning in their own ways, but he couldn’t take his eye off of Sis.
His staring must not have been as subtle as he hoped it would be, because while the other girls made their way to the back, Sis stopped in her tracks, glancing his way. Oliver stood as still as a statue, not sure exactly what to do in terms of movement.
Thankfully, he didn't have to stay like that for very long. To his utter joy, a smile formed across her beautiful face, showing off her perfect pearly whites. Sis crooked her finger, beckoning him in a come hither motion before disappearing behind the dark curtain. To say she enchanted Oliver was quite an understatement.
Instead of standing around, Oliver hustled to get enough silverware and menus for four ladies. He'd never been more eager to work in his life.
"Hello again~" Sis greeted Oliver with a purr as he entered the private area. "I was hoping you'd be here again tonight."
"Oh? You were?" Oliver asked, feeling his heartbeat ramp up in speed. "Well, I'm really glad to see you again too, Miss!"
The gaggle of ladies all shared a round of playful giggling, like schoolgirls with a secret.
"Awww! You weren't kidding! He's a total sweetie pie!" a fellow redhead chirped.
"So you're the famous Oliver," a brunette with green eyes commented. "Sis has told us so much about you!"
Oliver would be lying if he said he wasn't flattered by that. His stomach was practically doing backflips with the amount of butterflies he was feeling. He wasn't used to such compliments.
"O-Oh! Well, I'm very honored," he smiled. "It's really nice to meet you all!"
His words trailed off after his greeting. He wasn't sure how to get the right words out in order to ask for their names as well, but they all seemed to get the hint as to what he wanted to say.
"Gem."
"Red."
"Babydoll!"
They all have such different names. Very….creative, Oliver thought to himself. It must be a California thing!
He finally felt comfortable enough to perform his job properly once the introductions were done. As per Sis' request, he brought back the same brand of Chardonnay he got her the last time she was there. This time, he was determined not to spill any on their gorgeous outfits. When each glass was equally filled, the girls all clinked their drinks to share a toast.
Oliver put in the same energy when he took their orders. Each lady knew exactly what they wanted, and they cooed at him to hurry back since they'd miss him. It put quite a dopey smile on his boyish face.
Little did he know that his coworkers were watching him with a look of dread in the corners of the restaurant. They all knew the secrets that Sis and her lovers shared. Oliver wasn't ready to see the deadlier side of the brown-eyed beauty.
"You really are too good to us, Ollie," Sis complimented the redhead boy when he set all their entrees down. Even with a table completely covered in the finest Italian cuisine imaginable, she kept her gaze fully locked on him.
Almost like he was the one she found to be the most delicious.
"It's nothing, really! I'm just happy to make up for my wine snafu from last time."
"Speaking of wine," Gem spoke up, taking Sis' chin in between her manicured figures and tilting them in her own direction. "I wanna see if I can taste the Chardonnay on your lips, hun~"
Oliver only got to ponder what she meant for a mere second before getting a shocking answer. Gem pulled her into a deep kiss, moaning softly as both pairs of plush lips pressed together. Without much influence, Sis immediately melted into it, smiling and wrapping her arms around her lady friend.
His green eyes were practically bulging out of his head as the two of them began passionately making out just a mere foot in front of him. Oliver turned towards Red and Babydoll to see if they were just as surprised, but found instead they were looking at him as if he were the odd one. They raised their eyebrows up at him, curious at his gawking.
Perhaps it wasn’t the right time to stick around and just stare with an open mouth like a codfish.
“Y-You ladies enjoy! I’ll be back later!”
Oliver practically kicked up dust behind him from how fast he got out of the private dining section. He had already seen Sis get rather intimate in the restaurant already. But he hadn’t expected to see it between her and someone other than her husband.
Flashbacks of the last time when she made flirty gestures at him while literally riding David were coming back to him. He didn’t understand the behavior fully, but what he was absolutely certain about was how stunning she was. So confident, so beautiful, always knowing exactly what she wanted, yet still showing gratitude when she got it.
It made him ever so curious about whether he truly had a chance with a woman like that. Compared to people like David and Gem? Fat chance, he thought to himself.
Time passed by, and the night was finally winding down. Oliver and his coworkers had split their tips, cleaned up the restaurant, and helped set up for what they needed the next day. In between his tasks, he had stopped in to check on Sis and her friends. They had long since cleared their plates and finished the last sips in their glasses. Yet they seemed to want to stay a bit longer and enjoy some girl time.
So long as it was okay with Giuseppe, Oliver let them be.
By the time everyone else had clocked out and left, he popped his head in one last time to check on them. To his surprise, the three beauties that had come along for the night had already made their leave at some point earlier while he was cleaning up. The one that remained was Sis, sitting pretty in the booth with her fingers intertwined, allowing her chin a place to rest.
She was smiling at him again, a twinkle in her eye as she gestured to the chair placed across from her.
“Care to help me finish off this bottle?” she asked. There wasn’t much left in the second bottle of Chardonnay he had delivered earlier that night, but it was just enough for the two of them to have a little taste. Half a drink wouldn’t kill him.
“Where are the others?” he casually asked as he sat down.
“Oh, they’re outside. Just having a smoke and texting the hubbies.”
Hearing her say that reminded Oliver of David once again. He really wasn’t one to pry, but the curiosity to ask about what kind of relationship Sis had with them all was still there. He would have kept his mouth shut about it if she hadn’t seemed to read his mind on her own.
She pulled her phone out from her purse, maneuvering around the screen until she found what she wanted. Flipping the device around, Sis showed him some pictures of her with various people. Some he recognized, some were unfamiliar faces.
“In case you were wondering, I’m polyamorous. We all are,” she explained. “You’ve met David already. Those three boys are my other husbands. Marko, Dwayne and Paul.”
I didn’t even know you could be married to multiple people in California, Oliver thought to himself. In the first picture, four incredibly handsome men surrounded Sis. Being pansexual himself, Oliver found himself practically swooning at how perfect-looking they all were. As much as he wished to look as hunky as them, he couldn’t blame her for finding all of them attractive.
“They have their own partners too. Some of which I get to date too,” she said, swiping at the screen to show more pictures.
Babydoll being carried by Dwayne, a pregnant Red being held from the back by Marko, Gem and Paul flashing peace signs at the camera, and many more. So many other beautiful ladies were in the arms of these men. It was as if fate had brought the most attractive people in the world together.
“So the other night when you said your ‘girlfriends’, you weren’t just talking about besties, huh?” Oliver playfully commented. To his delight, Sis giggled at him, thoroughly amused. He loved the sound of her laugh. It was as beautiful as her.
“That’s right! And we all have our own families too,” she explained. She pointed out the various babies that various couples had together. Oliver’s heart was melting at the pictures of chubby-cheeked infants with gummy smiles.
One of the final pictures that Sis showed off was a family portrait with her, David, and three little ones. He listened with deep focus as she told the story of her family.
“Laddie is the oldest. I adopted him with Dwayne way back when. He’s also the best big brother to all the others,” she cooed. “The little girl is Eva. My angel on Earth. Her name was inspired by my mother. And that’s Evan. Little mama’s boy in the making, that one.”
“You have a beautiful family, Sis,” Oliver complimented her as he handed back the phone. “I can just tell you’ve got a lot of love for those babies.”
Sis sighed in content, taking a swig of her wine.
“I really do. I don’t know what I’d do without them….”
Though talking about her children seemed to bring her great joy, Oliver couldn’t help but notice there was a lingering sadness in her eyes when she pondered the possibility of life without them. As if that very thing almost happened.
Oliver smiled sympathetically, allowing her to see that he genuinely cared about what she was going through.
“Well….if you ever want to talk about them or anything else on your mind, I’m a good listener! Honest!”
“Thank you, Oliver,” Sis said. She reached out her hand, taking hold of his and giving it a soft squeeze. “You have no idea how much that means to me.”
While puffing away on their cigarettes, the three girls kept their eyes peeled for anyone that would possibly cause trouble. The vampires were always on their highest guard whenever they were out with the queen. Ever since the gruesome night of the beheading, they couldn’t risk being too careful.
There was always someone out there wanting to dethrone the vampire king and queen of Santa Carla. They would be damned if they’d let such a thing happen again.
Sis never wanted to leave the cave alone. She wanted a minimum of two mates by her side, one to watch her front, and one to watch her back. The mere idea of dying again put the fear of God in her. She wasn’t ready to go, especially when her babies needed her to get by in this cruel, cold world.
But something was different. New. There was a sense of hope for her now. Someone kind and gentle and ready to care for her every need. The girls saw quite a lot of potential in Oliver. He was a soft boy and a bit too innocent for the life of a vampire, but he made Sis feel safe again. Like she could live her undead life to the fullest.
But it was up to the king about what they would do next.
“So, she really does like him, huh?” David asked, sharing a video call with the three brides.
“She must since she’s been the calmest I’ve ever seen since….you know,” Gem explained.
David tilted his head in wonder as he thought things over. For years now, he and his brothers had collected quite a few brides to have and to hold until the end of time. Each one shaped to their liking and trained to not run away. They all embraced their vampire nature and were loyal as could be.
He hadn’t considered the possibility of adding a groom for the queen.
“I need more time,” he said. “I still hold a lot of pain from what Michael did to me. To our family. Keep an eye on Oliver for me. I’ll stop by during some dates or send one of the boys along. Really make sure he’s right for Sis.”
“You got it,” Red chirped.
“What happens if he gets your approval?” Babydoll asked.
David’s lips pulled back, a devilish smirk stuck on his handsome face. The gears were already turning quite a bit in his evil head.
“Then we bring him home for training. The little wife needs a pet after all~”

~Angel Of The Boardwalk~
Upon request, I decided to doodle up a picture of my self insert, Chrysta, how she looks in my The Lost Girls AU/older. Not counting vampy conditions, girl is probably in her early thirties (around when Chris would be born) when she decides to change out the tight jeans and busty t-shirts for something more comfortable and more her style becoming a mama. 😌
Sorry if it looks rushed... It is.. 😬

How I think The Lost boys would hold Klaus using hamster photos
Dwayne: easy way for him to get out of but he’s chilling with Dwayne.
Paul; klaus knows he not gonna drop him but still gets a little anxious and keep a paw on his finger.
Marko; klaus has to be bribed with wafers in order for Marko to hold him.
David: Now as for David, klaus probably won’t let him hold him but David find his reaction funny so he doesn’t mind much.

The Lost Ones (the lost boys x ocs)
Evelyn, Roseanna, Sage, and Elise are on the run from witch hunters. The girls get on a bus and manage to go to a town called Santa Carla "murder capital of the world", where they not only have to figure out why they were so drawn to this town in the first place but also how they are going to stay in the town when they are getting hunted left and right by hunters, well there may just be a reason in the first place and that may involve a specific group of vampires.

Chapter 13: Sweet Emotion
Darcy laid back on the bed. Now that she’d eaten, exhaustion had caught up with her. She pulled out a cigarette and lit it. She watched as the smoke she exhaled dissipated into the air.
The bed dipped next to her as Paul plopped down. He laid on his side and propped his head up with a hand.
She glanced over at him. He only had one of the small motel towels wrapped around his waist. His hair was flat and dripping onto her bed.
“Ugh,” she shoved him. “Dry off properly.”
He laughed. “Why? My clothes stink.”
“Can’t you turn into a bat and fly home?”
Paul laughed harder. “Babe, what do you think we can do?”
“Hypnotize people. What’s the use in being a vampire if you can’t fly?”
“We can fly.”
“As a bat?”
“No,” he laughed again.
“Then I’m not impressed.”
Darcy watched as Paul pushed himself up onto his elbows before leaning over her. “Then let’s impress you.”
“How you going to do that?” she asked, taking another drag of her cigarette. Paul didn’t seem inclined to move, even as the smoke she exhaled hit him.
He leaned forward and kissed her. “Give me an hour. You’ll see.”
“An hour?” she raised her eyebrows. “Is that it?”
He grinned. “Babe, it’ll take all night. Don’t worry.” He kissed her again. “One hour.” He winked at her and got up before he went to the door.
“Aren’t you getting dressed?”
“And deprive the world of this?” he posed. “Wait for me, babe!” He disappeared out the door, still wearing the towel. Darcy stared after him before she lay back down.
“Vampires are insane,” she muttered. She turned and stubbed out the remains of the cigarette before closing her eyes. At least she might be able to sleep for a bit.
She wasn’t sure how long she slept or when exactly she fell asleep, but she woke up to someone pounding on her door.
“Ugh, okay,” she muttered as she rolled off the bed and stood. She opened the door to see Paul, fully dressed. “What time is it?”
The blond man, looking as if he was a poster child for the eighties, grinned at her. “Time for us to have a bit of fun. Come on!” He grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the motel room. She managed to shut the door behind her before he dragged her to his motorcycle. She pulled her hand out of his grip and slowed down.
“Where are we going?”
“Don’t worry. You’ll enjoy it. Come on.” He got on the motorcycle and motioned for her to join her.
Darcy wasn’t sure she was awake enough for this but she climbed on behind him and shoved his hair over his shoulder so that it wasn’t in her face. She pressed her forehead against his back and held on as he drove off.
Darcy wasn’t sure where they were going. It was easier to keep her face hidden to keep his hair out of her mouth, but she heard the sounds of the boardwalk and the yells that tended to follow when they drove into the crowd. Being alone didn’t stop Paul from terrorizing the populace.
They finally stopped and she looked up to see where they were. They were outside of a broken-down house that looked like it backed onto the beach. Darcy could hear some cheers and yells behind the house. They must have had a huge fire because she could see the light from the flames on the part of the beach she could see.
“Where are we?”
“This, babe, is the residence of those surf assholes.” He walked over and pulled out a bag from one of the bushes at the side of the house. “And this…is how we’re going to have some fun.” He reached in and pulled out a bottle of alcohol. “You wanted to set something on fire, right?”
Darcy stared at him for a moment, inwardly pleased at the fact that he was offering her the same thing she had threatened them with. “Who’s inside?”
He grinned at her. “No one, babes. They’re all on the beach or boardwalk.”
She narrowed her eyes at him. She wasn’t stupid. They were vampires. It was possible they didn’t care about hurting kids or innocent people. She didn’t hurt anyone who didn’t deserve it. “You better not be lying or you’ll be the next thing I set on fire.”
Paul’s grin widened. “Cross my heart,” he motioned over his chest.
“You don’t have a heart.”
“Sure I do. Just doesn’t work the same,” he shrugged. He shook the bottle towards her. “You in?”
Darcy grabbed the bottle from him and grinned. “You got cloth?”
He winked and pulled prepared strips from the bag. “For you, babe, I got it all.”
It turned into a game. They took turns throwing bottles and seeing who can cause the most damage. At least until they heard sirens, at which point Paul grabbed Darcy and ran them back to the bike, taking off. Darcy couldn’t help but laugh wildly at the expressions on the Surf Nazis' faces as they pass them.
They drove out of town.
Paul finally stopped them outside another house. This one wasn’t broken down but it is dark.
“Who lives here?” Darcy asked as she climbed off the bike at Paul’s insistence.
“Fuck if I know,” Paul said “But it’s ours tonight.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.” He held out his hand and led her into a house. She was pretty sure he broke the lock as he opened the door.
“So why are we here?”
“Because I set it up for us to relax in, babe.” He pulled her through the house. “I mean, check out this bathtub. That’s worth it alone.” Her mouth dropped open as soon as she saw it. He wasn’t kidding. The bathtub was huge and it was next to large windows that looked out onto the beach. “Come on, you can eat and I’ll draw the bath.”
“You got food?”
“Course I did!” He moved her out of the bathroom and to the living room. “Ta-da!”
Darcy stared at the spread laid out on the table and bit her lip, trying not to react.
“What do you think, babe? Romantic, right?”
“Sure,” she croaked out. The romantic spread consisted of spray can cheese, crackers, Hershey bars and wine coolers. There had also been a bottle of Mr. Bubbles on the side of the tub. “It’s great.”
Paul grinned at her, looking pleased. She waited until he left to draw the bath to laugh. She had to hand it to him, at least he tried. She would have preferred tacos though. Or funnel cake like Dwayne had gotten.
Darcy sat down and propped her feet up before grabbing one of the Hershey bars. At least there was chocolate. She’d have to teach them what decent food was, especially if they were going to plan on trying to romance her with it.
It seemed like it was going fast but Darcy wasn’t uncomfortable. It was odd if she let herself think about it but she had already decided that she was going to let them in.
“It’s ready!”
Darcy dropped her feet to the ground and stood, heading for the bathroom where Paul was waiting. He was standing next to the bathtub, already naked. Darcy rolled her eyes, unsurprised. “I take it you're joining me?”
“Of course,” he said. “Long as you let me. Hate to waste this.” He motioned to the tub behind him. There were candles lit and the tub itself was filled with bubbles and what looked like rose petals floating on them. It was a little overdone, but it was sweet. Much like the food, he went a bit all out but here it looked like he used multiple ideas together instead of choosing one. Whatever. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for Darcy in a long time. God, that was sad.
“Okay,” she smiled at him before she pulled off her top. “Go in first. Might be easier that way than together, right?”
Paul settled himself in the water quickly and rested his arms on the side of the tub while he watched as she got undressed.
He moved slightly, offering her his hand to help as she stepped into the bath. She had never shared one with someone before, but Paul didn’t seem to mind her hesitation. He pulled her to rest against his chest. Darcy sighed as the heat of the water finally sank in. Without intending to, she found herself relaxing.
Her eyes closed on their own. Paul trailed his fingers up her arm, kissing her neck softly.
“What are you thinking, babe?”
“I’m not,” she answered. She didn’t bother to open her eyes, exhausted by everything and somehow not. Maybe it was remnants of adrenaline from facing off with a bunch of vampires, or maybe the fact that there was one with his lips on her neck. She didn’t feel threatened though, not with how careful he was touching her at this moment and the memory of the supposed romantic feast that was still outside waiting for her.
“Liar,” he called her out.
“Can’t prove it,” she teased.
He laughed against her skin. “Don’t need to. I got you.” He nips at her skin before his hand on her arm moved to her chest. She leaned back into him, letting Paul touch her.
“Always so pretty,” he said softly. “Especially like this.” He pinched one of her nipples softly, rolling it between his fingers.
Darcy sighed.
“Let me make you feel good.” He kissed the side of her neck and the hand that wasn’t on her breast dipped under the water between her thighs. She shifted, trying to open her legs wider to give him more room.
He scraped his teeth against her skin, and Darcy couldn’t help but wonder if she was going to be covered in scars at the end of this. If there was some point when they would actually bite her. She needed to decide what she was going to do if they tried.
Her thoughts derailed as his fingers moved. Her head fell back, revelling in the feeling of the pressure on her clit.
“Paul…” she breathed.
“Hmmm?” he pressed a finger in. “Just relax, babe.”
She lost herself, letting the pressure build as he moved in the exact way she liked. She reached back, fingers digging into his hair. “More, more, more,” she begged. He didn’t respond, just kept moving, pushing hard and leading her to the precipice of her orgasm until finally, she fell. Water splashed on the floor as she shuddered with it.
Paul laughed. “You’re making a mess, girl.”
“You’re the one making the mess!” She couldn’t help but laugh, even as he removed his hand and ran his fingers along her side.
“So let’s make more!” He dragged her out of the tub, leading her to the bedroom. There was a trail of water behind them but Darcy gave no thought to it, especially when Paul pulled her down to straddle him.
Darcy laughed before leaning down to kiss him. Paul kissed her like he was drowning, desperate to feel her. He grabbed her waist, rocking her against him. It was easy for him to slip inside. Darcy sighed at the feeling, leaning back slightly. Paul held her in place.
“Come on, babe. Let me feel you.”
It took a few moments to find the right rhythm that had Paul’s grip tightening on her, thrusting up as much as he could while Darcy moved over him.
“You’re so fucking beautiful,” he said, pulling her down to kiss him again. His hands moved, mapping out the curves of her body as she rocked against him. It was easy to lose herself in him, the soft touches that switched to hard grips at whims that only he was aware of. This wasn’t like riding David in anger, demanding that he submit. This was worship.
Darcy’s orgasm hit her by surprise and Paul just laughed at her expression before gripping her hips and turning them both. She was flat on her back, still riding the high as Paul chased his own. His movements were rougher and his kisses were hard but it was enough to send her spiralling into another.
Paul had the decency to pull out and Darcy couldn’t even bring herself to care that she was going to need another shower or bath. She was exhausted and sated and it just seemed to get better when Paul collapsed down next to her. She didn’t question where he even pulled the joint out from when he offered it. She just took it.
“You’re a wild thing, girl,” Paul said as he took it back. “You tired?”
“Yeah,” she wasn’t sure what she was answering. Her head spun slightly. She was worn down enough that even a small hit was having a quick effect.
“Sleep, babe. I’ll watch over you.”
“All night?”
“However long you want. We all will.”
She laughed slightly, eyes closing as she watched the smoke dissipate in the air. “Yeah okay.”
Paul woke her up before the sun rose. He took the chance to fuck her again in the shower, using it as an excuse and claiming they’d get clean this way. Paul dressed them both in whatever clothes they found in the house. Or he tried to. Whoever lived here does not have the same body type as Darcy.
“I can’t wear this shit,” she said.
“Next time we’re going shopping. Get us some garters.”
“Sounds like a plan. Now can we go? Or you planning to go home in the sun?”
Paul laughed. “Not much fun if I’m crisp. Let’s get you home, babes. So you can continue to dream about me.”
“I’m going to dream about Dwayne now.”
“Aww, come on!”

Love at First Bite 💞
David/Female!OC & Male!OC/Female!OC
Summary: David and the Lost Boys always have their eyes out for new brides to claim. However, when the vampire queen becomes smitten with a sweet redheaded boy, it may lead to the first time a groom is added to the coven.
This was inspired by @ghoulgeousimmaculate and her characters from the series Party the Pain Away and the various fics that take place afterwards. Ghoulie and I discussed the possibility of having another boy join the coven after so many girls were brought in. So everyone meet the new kid on the block! We hope you like him as much as Sis does~
WARNINGS: Fic contains mentions of fear, emotional manipulation, power dynamics, toxic relationship dynamics, PDA, mentions of blood/murder and alcohol. This has references to Ghoulie's stuff, and takes place in the modern world, not 1987. Part 2 HERE credit to hellobeautiful.com and artmoda.by for the pics of Daniil Kalinin and Chloe Bailey for face claims of Oliver and Sis.
Oliver was no stranger to working hard. From a very early age, his father taught him the values of an honest day's work and the appreciation of those who took on the most challenging jobs. Things like sanitation, customer service and food preparation were to be respected, as they were thankless jobs with poor compensation.
He kept this in mind as he got settled into his new job after moving to Santa Carla. Not too many places were hiring as much due to the tourist season dying down for the year, but he was able to get hired at a local Italian restaurant. According to the manager, they had recently lost a waitress and needed to fill the position as soon as possible.
After seeing the ins and outs of the restaurant himself, Oliver could see why it had a lot of business, even after the summer rush. It was a gorgeous place, and he was quite impressed with the quality of the food. Putting on the server uniform made him feel quite proud of the work he was going to do.
His first few shifts went well. Oliver got settled in with lunch services and was sure to always work with a smile and a positive attitude. The customers enjoyed his friendliness and dedication to making sure their meal was perfect. Even if he was still very green, he had plenty of potential.
That's why his boss made him a very particular offer.
"Hey, Oliver," the middle-aged owner said to him. "Now that you're getting more comfortable, I'd like to get you set up for a dinner shift. We could really use the help during that time."
"Oh yeah! No problem!" the redheaded boy agreed. Little did he know that around the corner, his fellow servers were looking at one another with a shared sense of nervousness. Oliver had no idea he was getting into.
The night shift brought quite a lot more customers to the restaurant. Oliver was working twice as hard as before to make sure everyone had full drinks and hot plates of food in a timely manner. He wasn't perfect by any means, but his hard work and dedication was clear to everyone.
He was so focused on putting orders into the POS system that he didn't notice a new couple being welcomed in by his boss.
"Saluti signore e signora! Your usual table is all set up. Right this way!"
By the time Oliver turned back around to see who had walked in, they were already out of sight.
"I'm not taking their table. You go take it."
"Fuck you! I took them last time! You do it!"
Oliver couldn't help but overhear two waitresses bickering quietly off to the side. They had been more casual around other tables during all the other shifts they worked together. It was a surprise to see them so adamant about not serving the couple that had walked in.
He'd dealt with his fair share of nasty customers in past jobs. There was one elderly woman at a cashiering job that had threatened to beat him senseless with her cane over an expired coupon. If he could handle that, he could handle anything.
"I can take their table!"
The two girls turned toward him, looks of shock plastered on their faces.
"Really? You WANT to take them?"
"Yeah! It's no big deal, really."
They didn't look entirely convinced, but they were still appreciative of Oliver's offer to take the burden off of them. They handed him a pair of menus and silverware before each giving him a soft smile.
"Your funeral, bud."
Oliver played it off as a harmless joke, snickering playfully as he headed off to the new table. Little did he know how serious his coworkers were with such a warning.
He'd never served anyone in the space behind the curtain before. He didn't know what to expect when he pushed the black velvet fabric to the side in order to step forward. When he got a good look at one of the diners, he nearly dropped all the items he had in hand.
Sitting pretty in the booth across from the entrance was the most stunning woman that Oliver had ever laid eyes on. Her beauty was enhanced by her long locs, brown eyes, flawless makeup, plush lips, and glowing skin illuminated by the candles.
Oliver could practically feel his jaw hanging open at the sight of the mystery woman. If her looks hadn't caught his eye, then the bold dress she wore certainly did. There was barely any fabric on the top half, just mere straps crossing over her curvy figure.
If he wasn't careful, he'd start chubbing up before he could even take her order. That would be embarrassing enough if it were just her. But there was also a tall, blond, and handsome gentleman cozied up next to her. Clearly her date.
Oliver was just grateful for the thick fabric of the apron and his notebook covering up the area.
He finally mustered up enough courage to step to the front of their table. When the lady looked up at him, her eyes shimmered. It was as if she were admiring some kind of precious gem or a beautiful flower. Still, Oliver wasn't confident enough to believe she was as amazed by him as he was to her.
"Good evening!" he greeted the two. "My name is restaurant, welcome to the Oliver."
Immediately, the boy's skin flushed to a deep shade of red when he realized he got his line backwards. He slapped a hand over his mouth in embarrassment, wishing he hadn't screwed up like that.
"I-I mean…my name is OLIVER. Welcome to the RESTAURANT. I cannot believe I did that…"
"Aww, you nervous, sweetheart?" the woman cooed, clearly amused. "This your first night? I haven't seen you around here~"
Her voice was as warm and sweet as fresh honey. The sound alone made it feel like his heart was pumping faster and faster and his blood growing hotter with every moment.
"Well…kinda," he admitted, smiling sheepishly. "It's my first dinner shift. I've been working lunches for a couple of weeks now."
The lady nodded, seemingly understanding of his situation. While she was warm and welcoming, her date seemed to be cold as ice. His frosty blue eyes were staring directly at Oliver, scanning over him carefully. It was like he was trying to figure out his entire personality with just a look.
It really put him on edge. Oliver wouldn't lie to himself about that.
"Well congratulations! You picked the best place in town to work!" she smiled. "We're regulars here! You'll be seeing us quite a bit. My name's Sis!"
She held out her perfectly manicured hand to the boy, happy to introduce herself. Oliver smiled right back as he slipped his hand against hers. He was a bit surprised to find it chilled to the touch, but not to a point of discomfort. After all, with hands as soft as hers, nothing about the experience was unpleasant.
After a good shake, the two let go. Not even a second after she released his hand did her date push his own hand in, grabbing hold of Oliver. The man had a much stronger grip, squeezing the fresh rather tightly as he shook.
"I'm David. Her husband."
Oliver felt his stomach drop as if he were riding on the world's steepest roller coaster. This wasn't some random date. This was a man she was in a committed relationship with.
"Oh my God, stop drooling over a married woman, you idiot. Dad raised you better than this!" Oliver scolded himself inside his head.
"Well, it's really nice to meet you! B-Both of you!"
David seemed to tone down his icy demeanor, giving Oliver a slick smile as he leaned back against the fabric of the booth. He tugged his wife to his chest, letting her cuddle up to him. Even with their intimate embrace, she still watched Oliver with big doe eyes.
"So! What can I get you started off with for drinks?"
Sis opened her mouth to speak, but wasn't able to get a word out. David deprived her of that.
"Bottle of Pinot Noir for the two of us to share. Red is the best. Right, doll?"
To Oliver's surprise, Sis didn't look happy with that choice. Her lips were stuck in a pout and she was looking down at her lap in disappointment.
"David, I've told you a thousand times, I don't like red wine. I want Chardonnay!" she whined.
"Hush, darling. Daddy knows best for you~"
That didn't sit right with Oliver. Seeing her uncomfortable made him uncomfortable too. Did her husband have a habit of forcing choices she didn't want? He seemed pretty pushy. Not to mention condescending as hell.
He nodded as he made his way past the curtain and down the hall to where the wine cellar was. While he was able to find the Pinot without issue, he couldn't help but let his eyes wander to the wall of white wines.
It wouldn't be very fair to not at least offer the lady a choice.
When he made his way back into the private area, Oliver held out the two bottles he had grabbed on his way out. David raised his eyebrows in surprise when he noticed the Chardonnay label.
"I hope you don't mind! I wanted to provide some options so everyone could get what they wanted."
The blond didn't like the decision to bring out the white wine, but it thrilled his wife to have her favorite drink as an option. Oliver couldn't deny she looked extra beautiful with the look of happiness on her face.
He popped open both bottles, carefully pouring each drink into their glasses. While David stared him down with deep focus, Sis was more relaxed with her expression. She mouthed a 'thank you' when she had her wine prepared. Oliver gave her a polite nod, but little did she know that on the inside, his heart was getting quite fluttery from the way she looked at him.
"Now then! What can I get the two of you for tonight?"
"Oh? Did they not tell you our regular orders?" David asked, raising an eyebrow. His lips were curled back into a smirk, taunting Oliver with a deep smugness. "You seem to have a long way to go in this business, kid."
He wanted to tell the guy off for mocking his newness to the restaurant, but Sis beat him to the punch.
"Oh David, be nice! You're gonna scare the poor boy off!"
David turned his gaze from Oliver back to his wife. There was a deep, intense focus in his icy blues. It was as if he was trying to speak to her without speaking out loud. The way Sis slunk back into the cushion of the booth made it seem like whatever message he was attempting to give got to her. It was like watching a small bunny cower under the intimidating stare of a wolf.
Oliver gripped his pen and notepad tightly, fighting back the anger boiling within him. He still remembered how, when he was a little kid, his father taught him that men who tried to control and hurt women were cowards. Pure Scum of the Earth. This guy was no different if he thought it was okay to act that way with his own wife.
"She'll have the chicken parmesan and a Caesar salad."
"Actually, Sir," Oliver spoke, not bothering to write down the order. "I would rather let the lady speak for herself, so I know for certain she's getting what she wants."
David didn't like that one bit. It positively baffled him that someone would talk back to him in such a way. Oliver stood his ground, not breaking eye contact with him for even a second.
Though David was furious at such treatment, Sis was elated by it. She appreciated the respect the redheaded server was granting her. The smile on her pretty face was all Oliver needed to know he did the right thing.
"Well! As a matter of fact, I was interested in trying some New York strip. I've been hearing really great things about it from my girlfriends!"
Oliver was more than happy to write that down for her. He eagerly scribbled away as she told him how she wanted the steak cooked and what kind of veggies she wanted for a side. Oliver even made a note to bring her extra potatoes as a way to show her extra care.
"I'd be happy to get that for you, Miss."
"Oooh! I haven't been called 'Miss' in quite some time. Aren't you a charmer~"
His cheeks were positively flushed with redness from her sweet coos of praise. It was worth it, even with her husband staring him down with a burning hatred.
"And for you, Sir?"
"The same. But make my steak rare. I have quite an appetite for something bloody."
Now Oliver wasn't feeling as confident in himself. Normally he would dismiss these comments as coming from someone trying too hard to be tough after listening to too many podcasts on being an "alpha male".
This was not one of those times. Something about the way David looked at him made it seem as if that was to be taken as a genuine threat. That he better mind his business or else he would be the one to become a bloody piece of dead meat.
Any confidence Oliver had before was promptly shut down. With a quick flick of his pen, he finished writing out the order and gave a nod before scampering off back to the kitchen. The sooner he got out of David’s sight, the better.
“How’s it going back there?” one server asked Oliver while clumsily put in the order. She must have sensed his nervousness from all the way back in the kitchen.
“It’s interesting…” he admitted. “That woman is really nice, but her husband looks like he wants to bite my head off.”
Oliver had been exaggerating when he said that, but when he glanced over at his coworker, she had a look of genuine concern on her face.
“Listen to me, Ollie. Just play it safe. David is not someone you want to mess with. Just be quick, respectful, and get out of his way so he can spend time with his wife. It’s your best chance at surviving the night.”
The redheaded boy let out a deep sigh as he passed the order along to the chefs. She was right. He couldn’t let his budding crush on a random customer cloud his judgment. All he had to do was work hard, and not let his emotions get the better of him. If everyone was happy, then he would be happy too.
“Okay. I can do that,” he said. “I appreciate everyone looking out for me.”
“No problem,” she replied, giving him a pat on the back before turning to leave. However, she didn’t get far before thinking of one last piece of advice to give.
“Oh! By the way! Don’t be shocked if those two are…heavy on the PDA. David’s quite wealthy, so Giuseppe lets him get away with more lewd stuff. If you see something, don’t say anything.”
That certainly wasn’t something Oliver was expecting to hear in terms of advice. He wasn’t even sure to what extent she meant by that. It wasn’t until he grabbed a basket of fresh bread for their table and made his way back to the area behind the curtain that he finally understood.
And boy, did he get an eyeful.
David had Sis firmly perched on his lap, letting her straddle him as he feverishly kissed her. Her hands were holding onto both sides of his face, stroking his beard lovingly. They both moaned into their kiss, pawing at one another as if they hadn’t experienced a sensual touch in ages. Tongues dancing together and bodies moving.
David had pulled down the fabric of her dress, letting the girls out for anyone coming by to see. It wasn’t a surprise that she didn’t have a bra on under such a skimpy piece, but it was still quite a shock to see a half-naked customer going at it with their lover without a care of who came their way.
Oliver kept his mouth shut, still very much shocked by the lustful display, but now knowing better than to say anything. Even if this wasn’t normal for the restaurant, he would still be a bit too shy to ask them to stop. All he did was silently move to place the basket on the corner of their table. They could take the basket whenever they finished..
His green eyes glance up just for a mere moment, moving without his control. He didn’t mean to, but even in that split second, his gaze locked onto the lady. Sis’ eyes opened, catching Oliver in her peripheral vision. The poor boy froze in place, hand still on the bread basket and eyes widening as the beauty watched him. Meanwhile, David’s eyes were still closed, his mouth now on her neck to nibble and kiss at her soft-looking flesh. Only Oliver and Sis were watching one another.
Oliver was certain she was going to scowl at him. Tell him to beat it so she could continue getting frisky with her hubby. But she didn’t. In fact, she did the opposite.
She smiled at him.
A smile that was a perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Something that showed she liked having him nearby for company, but also a hint of desire from him watching them. Her beautiful brown eyes were shimmering in the light, while her long lashes fluttered in a playful manner. She puckered her lips to make a kissing motion at him.
Was she….flirting with him? All while riding her husband?
Oliver was far too overwhelmed to even consider the idea. He scampered off out of the room, leaving the couple be in order to rush back to the kitchen. Better to let them be before his face went full-tomato in color. Even still, while he tried to keep busy with his tasks, his heart was beating a mile a minute.
By the time the dishes were ready to be served, he had managed to pull himself together enough to bring out their food with complete professionalism.
Sis and David looked more than satisfied. All snuggled up with one another. They had dressed up again, and their hair was a bit messier and faces flushed compared to the last time Oliver had popped in.. All he had to do was act like he HADN’T just seen them in a romantic embrace.
“Here you are! I really hope you enjoy the meal!"
The excited grin on Sis' face as she watched him set her plate of food down was all too sweet. She really was a beautiful lady, and every moment he made her happy ended up making Oliver happy, too.
Still, he wanted to make sure both of them were satisfied with their service. With the same friendly smile on his face, Oliver turned to David to set his own dish down, too. Unfortunately, he didn't get the same expression of delight that Sis had shared. David kept his lips pressed tight in a grimace. His entire body was in a tense form. Eyes of crystal blue were watching him with unblinking focus, like a hawk stalking its prey.
Everything about David was making Oliver nervous, but it wasn’t the intensity that finally made him stumble. It was how, for a split second, the color of his irises seemed to flash to a bright yellow right before Oliver’s very eyes.
Oliver jumped as he was setting the plate down, knocking into David’s glass of wine in the process. A sea of dark red wine sloshed outward, cascading onto the table, the cloth on top of it and down onto the lower half of Sis’ dress.
“Ah!!” she gasped. “SHIT! No! I just got this from Italy!”
The boy’s eyes widened in shock, tearing away from David and focusing just on the lady whose dress he had just ruined. She looked so upset, and it made him feel deep shame and fear, overwhelming his senses with panic. The blood in his face drained, leaving him completely pale.
“O-Oh! I am SO sorry, Miss!” Oliver stammered.
“Now look at this mess,” David tsked, crossing his arms and shaking his head. Unlike Sis, who was showing worry over her beautiful gown, he had an aura of disappointment. He was acting like a parent getting ready to give their child a firm scolding.
Unbeknownst to Oliver, David was already planning how he would teach him a lesson for ruining his wife's belongings. He would make the poor server boy realize just who he had messed with. Really make him sorry for his actions.
But he didn't get the chance.
"Please let me fix this!"
The redhead was quick to jump into action, first grabbing an unused cloth napkin and dunking it into an untouched glass of ice water to soak it. He kneeled down in front of Sis' seat and began gently blotting at the stain on her dress. Even with the dark fabric hiding the redness, he wanted to prevent any discoloration on the garment. All the while Sis watched with a worried expression.
"Don't worry! I know some tricks to help with this."
In between dabbing with the wet, cold rag, Oliver grabbed a nearby salt shaker and sprinkled some salt into his palm before rubbing it evenly over the red stain.
"Let that sit for a few minutes," he explained, getting back up to his feet and moving the items on top of the table around so that the soaked tablecloth could be removed from their sight. "After I toss this into the laundry pile, I'll grab some more stuff to finish cleaning!"
Oliver was off like a shot, racing against the clock so that the stain wouldn't set. He wouldn't possibly forgive himself if he ruined their night by his clumsiness. He wasn't even thinking about the odd moment with David's eyes. All he remained focused on was getting all the necessary supplies from the cleaning closet.
With his tools in hand, Oliver returned to the dining area, kneeling once again by Sis' side. The salt had come in handy for pulling a good amount of the red color out, but the next part would add an extra kick for help. Oliver's hands moved in a blur as he poured dish soap and hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle. With the liquids measured to his liking, Oliver sealed and shook up the bottle to a sudsy consistency.
"Wow! Aren't you an efficient thing?" Sis smiled, holding out the fabric so that he could evenly spray the stain. "Where'd you learn this trick, honey?"
"Oh, my dad knew a lot about preserving clothes whenever they got stained, ripped, or worn out," Oliver explained. "Growing up, we had to make our stuff last as long as possible. Didn't have money to burn on new clothes all the time."
That's the understatement of the year, he thought to himself. Piles of bills and his father's restless nights worrying about being able to feed his child weren't something to take lightly. Still, he didn't want to burden the couple he just met with his life story. All he wanted to do was to fix his mistake so their date wasn't spoiled.
"Listen, I do feel bad about the mess. If the stain is still there by the time you're finished with your meal, I'd be more than happy to pay for any other cleaning you get done for it."
As much as Oliver wanted to offer to pay for the dress itself, he could not possibly afford the cost of a luxury brand dress straight from Europe. Not unless he saved his money for the next 50 years. Still, Sis' kind smile told him the offer he had given flattered her.
"Don't you worry your sweet head, hun," she cooed, tucking a finger under his chin and tilting his head up a bit more. Oliver softly gasped at the gesture, cheeks flushing red once again.
"Yes. She's right," David spoke up. Oliver nearly jumped out of his skin when he remembered her husband was right next to them. "Thank you for cleaning her up. It's good to know Giuseppe knows how to pick the best and most competent people to work here."
After a dinner of going back and forth between smugness and fear-inducing intensity, it was a relief to see David actually pleased with his work. Oliver quickly scampered back to his feet so he wouldn't push his luck with being so close to the guy's wife. Even if it was nice being around her, he wasn't a home-wrecker.
The rest of their night went off without a hitch. Both of them got to enjoy their delicious steak dinners in peace, and Oliver managed to keep their glasses topped off without spilling another drop. By the time he delivered the check to their table, it was safe to say he had redeemed himself.
"It was a pleasure serving you both tonight! How's your dress looking now?"
"Good as new all thanks to your quick thinking, hun!" Sis beamed, showing off the bottom half of her dress. Sure enough, Oliver's work had left it spotless once again. "I want to properly thank you for doing that for me."
Oliver wasn't one to take on acts of service for any rewards. He simply liked to make himself useful and ease the burden of others. But with the excited glint in Sis' eyes as she nudged her husband, he couldn't bring himself to decline such an offer.
That was until David dug into his pocket and pulled out the most massive wad of cash Oliver had seen in his entire life. He was practically bug-eyed at the sight. David reached out to place the stack of bills in his hand, but he shook his head 'no'.
"Wh-Whoa! That's very generous of you, but I can't possibly accept that much money from you!"
David was already intimidating enough. Having the ability to throw money around like it was nothing didn't help that feeling. Besides, he was just doing as his father would have done. Not accepting charity for basic decency.
"It's nothing! I haven't had such amazing service in a long time!" Sis insisted. "You worked hard and I can already tell you're gonna be our favorite server here. Let me show my thanks, Oliver."
Sis plucked the cash wad out of David's hand and reached her hand out to tug at Oliver's apron. He softly gasped as she tucked the money into his pocket, giving his chest a light pat afterwards. He felt like his head was going fuzzy.
"Besides…I have a soft spot for cuties with freckles~"
Oliver's heart was practically doing backflips in his chest. The couple smiled playfully as they put their arms around one another, ready to leave together. By the time they had moved past the curtain and exited the restaurant, he was still standing in place with a bright red set of cheeks and a pocket full of hundreds.
He would definitely be asking his boss for more dinner shifts going forward.
"It's amusing he put in all that work fixing the stain, considering you're gonna get it covered in blood for our hunt later."
David and Sis were enjoying the remaining moments of their date night together. With the light of the full moon illuminating the path of the Santa Carla streets, they could enjoy each other's company and keep their eyes out for a victim or two.
"He was a sweet guy," Sis sighed, nuzzling against her husband's shoulder. "Very polite, dedicated, hardworking. I overheard his thoughts, too. Poor thing struggled when he was growing up. He comes from humble beginnings."
"Yeah, and he thought I was being an asshole."
"You're just soooo intimidating, Daddy," Sis cooed, stroking his ego. "And he backed off when he found out we were married. He's a respectful boy."
Little did Oliver know that David was one of several partners that Sis was romantically involved with. Humans and their ideas of monogamy were all too amusing to vampires.
David smiled kindly down at his wife, noticing the substantial amount of bliss she was experiencing.
"You really liked him, huh?"
"Yeah. I did," she sighed dreamily. "He was like…a loyal puppy"
Little did she know that the gears in David's head were turning. He adored seeing his queen so happy, especially after the recent traumatic events she had gone through. She was a fighter to the end, and she deserved to feel safe again.
Perhaps the pup would come in handy to his queen.

A Witch’s Slumber
Chapter 4
The lost boys x OC
Warnings: description of wounds and blood, Paul also biting his own hand
A very big thank you to those who are enjoying the story!❤️❤️❤️
All return to the original part of the cave, David sitting on his chair, Dwayne and Paul sitting by the fountain and Marko sitting on an old couch. Nani not knowing where to sit just stood in front of them with Klaus in her hands, feeling a sense of awkwardness and dread. Marko noticed quicker than the others along taking a liking to her.
“Sit next to me!”He scooted and patted the spot next to him,Nani stared for a second “Hurry before David makes you sit on his lap.” David snapped his head at Marko who had a smug look on his face and saw Nani rush to the couch sitting next to Marko. David was annoyed with Marko but more so with Nani for believing him. Dwayne wanting to break the tension decided to ask the first question about their new friend. “What were you doing in Max’s home?”
Nani looked deep in thought before answering with a sigh she answered. “He was my caretaker since I was nine, when I got old enough I wanted to leave out on my own. He didn’t take too kindly to that idea.”
Nine? Had she been on her own that whole time? No, someone had to be there for those previous years. Yes, street kids are a possibility hell they were street kids in the past but in her case, there’s no way someone couldn’t have been with her otherwise she would’ve been seen long ago. Marko asked the next question as their minds were getting more questions than answer.
“Were you on your own until max found you?” Nani paused and had a somber look to her now as she petted Klaus. “No, I had a family. They taught me what I know now with the time I had with them, we kept quiet and to ourselves for our own safety. That wasn’t enough though, someone came to my home and I heard the screams of my family when they set my home in flames. I managed to get out and Max found me a day later because of the smell of my injuries.”
“To add you to his make believe family, right?”
David added and got a nod to his question. Each boy saw the painful look of speaking about her family, Paul wanted to change the subject along with knowing what she is.
“What are you?like a witch bird lady?” Dwayne swatted at Paul’s shoulder. “Hey!I’m just curious!”
“Well yeah to be honest, I’m a harpy and any magic I know is from my family.”
“That it? Max kept you around for that? You sound more like a pet than a daughter.” David trying the girl’s patience.
“David.” Dwayne looked at their leader with a warning tone though Nani wasn’t offended by the comment.
“Well…you’re not that far off to be honest, harpy’s feathers and blood are used as ingredients for different things. Max didn’t always use me for that just occasionally when I was small.”
“What? He’d give you a lollipop right after?” Paul joked not meaning for it to be taken seriously.
“No. He gave me taffy.”Nani looked straight at him not picking up his humor, Paul’s chuckle died within seconds and smile had dropped. David clapped his hands together, satisfied with most of the answered and stood up.
“Well! Seems like we got our questions done and in order.” He gently stood Nani up and started walking her towards the caves’ exit quickly.
“So sorry about your 80 year sleep, dead family, yada yada whatever. You’re free now and you should probably go before Max even knows you’re out of your coffin we’ll bring your stuff up for you in a second.”
Nani didn’t process everything could only mumble a soft alright and walked up the steps of the cave and waited for them to bring her trunk. Marko is used to David’s behavior towards people they didn’t trust or liked but for the first time it felt rude, don’t get him wrong Marko couldn’t give a fuck what people thought of him or the rest. This felt different though, he knows because he saw Paul and Dwayne felt the same they just went along with David. He wanted Nani to stay for some reason and he was going to try to make it happen.
“No.” David walked to the cavern with Marko Paul and Dwayne behind him.
“But why?! She’s basically defenseless in this new world!”Marko tried making a case while keeping up with him. “She threw you at us mid air and stood at 8 foot tall as a giant bird. That doesn’t sound defenseless to me, I’d rather we don’t find out what more she can do or leading Max back to us.” David kept his eyes forward avoiding eye contact with the smaller vampire while grabbing one side of the trunk and Dwayne the other.
“It might be for the best Marko.” Dwayne added. They exited the cave finding Nani back in her harpy and Klaus back as a wooden carving. Nani took her trunk from them and plucked a feather from her wing, handing it to Paul.
“A token of gratitude for helping my escape.” Paul smile at it “Cool I’ll tie it in a necklace later”She made a confused expression at his response but didn’t question him. Marko still wanting her to stay spoke out. “You sure you don’t wanna to stay?” Nani stared at the curly blonde for a moment then at the rest and back to him. “I’m sorry, I’m grateful for your help but I have to go out on my own now. Maybe we’ll cross paths.” With that Nani spread her wings and flew off out of their view. David going back into the cave Dwayne followed second, Paul waved the feather at Marko resulting in playful shoving and laughing before going back into their cave.
Nani felt her rapid heart beat and flew far only stopping when she felt safe, nearly crashing on to the ground. She clutched her chest as she tried to get her breathing under control, Klaus witnessed this and climbed onto her hand only to bite her.
“Klaus!what was that for?!”
“You must calm yourself! I’m surprised those blood suckers don’t hear that pacemaker of your from here! Let alone when you were trying to keep it calm!” Her mouse friend scolded her “Good job on acting dense, I don’t trust a single one of those delinquents. No no no I do not.”
“Yes well most wasn’t acting, this isn’t the world we know anymore. Everything is gon…” Nani realized something before she could finish her sentence, Klaus saw her sudden realization and lack of words.
“Nani?” His concern grew as she started to shed tears “Nani? What’s wrong?! Are you hurt somewhere?!” Nani nodded no but wouldn’t speak only letting sounds of sobs and sniffling as she shifted back into her human form. They sat together until she couldn’t cry anymore and saw the sky colors having a dusk mist.
“Come along Nani let’s see if we can find a place to rest for the time being.”Klaus climbed and sat on her shoulder. Agreeing Nani grabbed her trunk and walked in the wooded area for some time occasionally stopping to look at the sky. She missed the bright sky and it’s sun just as badly as she missed the moon with it’s stars. Some time went by from aimlessly wondering until they found a run down cabin down a slope, leaving her truck at the of the slope, Nani decided to see if anyone lived there before setting in. The cabin was small, its paint job chipped and faded from years of neglect, luckily its windows and door still intact, untouched of vandalism. Klaus crawled under the door and managed to unlock it from the inside, still hanging off the door knob being picked up by Nani. The inside was a bit better than it’s exterior, everything covered in dust and cobwebs with its spiders. Any furniture that was left was covered in a thick layer of dust and faded from any sun that creeped into the window such as the bed and dressers with no sign of life.
“Well it may not be much but I think it’ll do! Right Nani?”Klaus looked up at her for her approval of their new temporary home. She simply offered a comforting smile and nodded.
“Right after our nightly adventure think we atta get down rest ay?”
“No, I think I’ll just clean, sleep is the last thing I want to do least for a while.”Nani opened one of the windows and smacked the bed causing a cloud of dusk fly up all while thinking of the events of the previous night. She did not want to run into Max’s followers, they were gonna leave her in that coffin, tried to kill her by shoving her off a cliff, they probably would’ve turned her over to Max had David not wanted to Just get rid of her, making up a lie of finding her to avoid the blame. She made the mistake of trusting Max in the past she doesn’t wish to repeat the pain. Nani proceeded to make a list of tasks she needed to do before she was to completely leave Santa Clara, away from Max, away from his followers and anything else involving them.
——
Few nights have gone by since the boys’ encounter with the owl woman, while it was out of their usual routine they try to move on from the event, occasionally making jokes while walking into the boardwalk. Paul wore the feather Nani gave him around his neck he tied with thread. Marko a bit sadden they couldn’t keep her, somethings about her felt so familiar but he just couldn’t place it. She was gone now and would let all be after all he was the one who suggested they go to Max’s home in the first place and did not want to start something like that again. Though a part of him will always be curious about her the same can be said for the rest of the boys, David however will ignore the curiosity for his own peace and remind the same for the rest of the boys.
“Alright Dwayne, your pick.” David motion his finger to the crowded boardwalk as he lit his cigarette. Marko immediately sprung up shocked it was Dwayne who got to pick, he got to pick last night it was his turn.
“Hey!It’s my turn David!”Catching up to the platinum blonde.
“And what happened last time? You got bored and nearly got all of us into hot shit so Dwayne is picking again, only thing you’re picking is who ya fuck for all I care.”David blew a puff of smoke out as Dwayne patted Marko’s back.
“I’ll pick a good bunch don’t worry, bud.” Dwayne tried to comfort Marko who was still in disbelief but sighed, muttering under his breathe.
Paul played with the feather as they walked through the boardwalk holding it up to the sky only to see a shape in the air, her flying high in the night’s dark sky using the clouds to hide to avoid being seen, Nani. She tried hard to avoid to be seen but Paul saw her and he wanted to keep her in his sights least for now. Giving the boys an excuse of wanting to branch off for a bit he proceeded to look in sky for the direction she had taken off to, far too focused to notice Max walk right by him. Max didn’t pay too much attention to the boys when walking past them on the boardwalk because of their constant disorderly behavior.
That’s what they thought at least.
Once far away from the boardwalk paul took flight into the direction he saw Nani take. He didn’t really know what’s he’d do when he’s reach her but he was going to have fun when he does. He found her at a distance but she she looked like she was struggling as she flew, the smell of blood hit his nose. She was holding her side and immediately flew below the treeline as soon as the woods came into view, Paul stayed his distance but kept his pace. He found her leaning against a tree trying to walk towards a cabin struggling with a wound on her side.
“Sugar?”Paul landed and started to walk towards her only for her to look startled “What happened?”
“Nothing I’m fine.”Nani started to walk faster to her cabin trying to stay calm as Paul walked behind her eventually panic and adrenaline from her wound couldn’t be help and tried to run. Paul gain chased but she slammed the door open and fell right in the door way giving paul a sense of deja Vu from their first meeting. This time though she was trying to get away from him.
“Ok I’ll stay right here. I’m not gonna do anything, ok?” He held his hands up looking at her for a response. Nani on her knees and arms from the fall, slowly turned back to normal aside from the small arrow in her right side.
“You only say that because you can’t come inside uninvited. Go away!”Nani tried to stand
“…..YoU OnLy SaY ThAt BeCaUsE YoU CaN’T cOmE iNsIde UniVinted.” Paul mocked her words out of frustrated worry, Nani looking at him annoyed an a little disbelief at his mocking.
“What do you even want I have nothing to give you. you still have the feather I gave you!you want blood now?!” Paul came to realize two things. One, Nani thinks he wants something from her. Two, he doesn’t really know why he wants to be there just that he does, with her.
“Because I just wanted to see you. Nothing else, honest.”Paul was getting worried about her bleeding increasingly staining her blouse he had on that night, it smelled sweet. Klaus also noticed her bleeding a worrisome amount and jumped onto Nani’s shoulder to whisper something.
“….Alright, you may come in.”Paul excitedly ran into the cabin and went to help Nani up, setting her on the bed. She explained that she returned home to grab a few items to take to a cavern connected to the ocean. Paul offered to fly her there much to her hesitation but agreed. As she looking through different bottles in her bag she noticed one was broken.
“Well that’s great timing I suppose.”Holding the broken bottle, Paul read its label being “vampiric’s blood”. Suddenly having a laugh and smile again.
“See sugar ya did need me!”picking up Nani to hug her only for her to let out a painful groan from her wound cause Paul to release her.
“Sorry…”
“It’s fine…and yes, I suppose I did need you.”As she looked at Paul only to be surprised with a smug smile. She could feel her face heat up a bit in embarrassment, immediately standing and walk towards the door. “That’s ok I’ll be off now!” Paul caught her immediately and took her to her request location. Along the cliff side ocean a cave with a cavern filled with water from the rise in tides. Pools full of ocean water, Nani still holding her side sat on the cold stone floor opened her bag and started pull out the bottles of strange liquids.
“Here start pouring them in, hurry please.” Paul nodded and did as she asked with each potion dropped in the waters colors would change. Once the final potion was pour, the waters were shifting different colors.
“Alright, now just a drop of your blood. It doesn’t need to be a lot.”
“Anything for you sugar.”Paul blew a kiss at Nani, his eyes changed yellow along with shifting his face into the one that brought fear to most and finally sharpened his nails. Clenching his fists hard enough to break skin, the first drop to hit the water caused pools to stoop changing finally settling on shifting bright shades of blue.
“Alright, time to pull the arrow out.” Paul turned his attention immediately at the woman who now had her hands on the end of the arrow. Immediately she ripped it out letting out a painful cry while trying to keep pressure on the wound. The wild blonde rushed over to help put pressure on the wound and walked her to the vibrant waters.
“I’ll be fine I just need to submerged myself completely.” Her brown eyes meeting Paul’s yellow ones now full of worry. Nani was a little stunned seeing his worry but didn’t answer to it, instead jumping into the water. As Paul stared into the water, he couldn’t ignore that sweet metallic smell coming from his hand. his hands covered in Nani’s blood,he couldn’t help it especially not in his current form. Bringing his hands closer to his mouth, it’s taste feeling as if he had finally tasted the very definition of ecstasy. Suddenly dropping to his knees while licking every last drop from from his hands only snapping out of it when he bit into his right hand. Hearing water moving he saw Nani’s head reemerge from underneath in her harpy form, her wound gone as if never existed.
“Here.”she held out another one of her feathers for him to take. Paul looked her, the look of expecting, the face of someone who has been through this before. How many times did Max take from her? Her feathers, her blood, her life what more did he expect her to give?! Nani saw Paul reach out to the feather only to put his hand on her clawed ones and gently push it back to her.
“Like I said I just wanted to see you. Nothing else, honest.” He shifted back to normal as he gave a soft smile. Nani’s black eyes blink I’m confusion but didn’t push her curiosity.
“Would you like to join me?”as she held her hand out to Paul.
“Anything for you sugar~”
