This is a redraw from January 6 2023, in honour of it being 1 YEAR since I posted the last chapter of The Father(s) and Son(s)!!!!! A little bit over a year actually because it was April 10th and it took me a little while to draw this lol

So much has changed in the span of a year omg. And for THE BETTER?? Like I’m going to school, I made and lost friends, I’m slowly but surely getting over some social anxiety (still a wip tho!!! 😭😭) and I’ve found so many cool mutuals and artists and just!!!! AAA!! Not to mention my art skills have improved a whole HELL of a lot!! LMAO

I don’t write as much as I did when I wrote my fic initially, and I feel bad for that sometimes, but it’s just a testament to how things have gotten a lot better for me and it’s not bad that I’m busy. I’m still trying to cobble together some more writing to eventually get another fic out, cuz I do genuinely miss it, but we’ll get there when we get there!

quite pleasantly surprised by wicked movie but i Will say we were robbed of elphaba leaning in close to glinda saying “come with me to the emerald city” followed by glinda’s “i’ve always wanted to see the emerald city” while looking deep into her eyes arms around her shoulders twirling elphaba’s hair

#not sure if this was unique to the last time i saw wicked but either way. shoutout to those two leads fr 😘✌🏻 <- that’s me kissing #two fingers and holding them out btw #personal #other notes:#- fiyero looked too old sorry but he did perform pretty well #- still unreasonably annoyed by ariana’s eyebrows being so pale and blending into her skin under certain lightings esp when they gave her #giant black lashes like at least be consistent 💀#- otherwise pretty pleasantly surprised by her performance there were still moments esp when she laughed where i was like this is too #‘ariana’ and not ‘glinda’ enough but for the most part she did wayyy better than i had anticipated #- the instrumentation to vocal balancing was weird throughout but i’m not sure if that came down mostly to it being in theatre vs on a home #tv ik it can depend on how they designed it #- was not a fan of nessa or madame morrible the way both of them sang and even how madame morrible spoke sometimes came off very stilted to #me i did like nessa’s spoken delivery tho #- not sure how but i had no clue abt the kristen/idina cameo ahjdf the way my mom #grandma and me all gasped #- cynthia did well i wasn’t concerned abt her initially but then saw the way they were marketing with her and got a little worried bc it #wasn’t very ‘elphaba’ but she portrayed her personality great #- they paced defying gravity weird i wasn’t super fond of the end. the bit where she’s falling and facing her younger self i was like okay #this is a cool change actually but then they interrupted in the middle again after that and suddenly cut to the ‘nobody in all of oz’ bit #and i went mmmm don’t like that #- liked the effects!#- wasn’t overly fond of jeff goldblum as the wizard but i suppose there is time to change my opinion there with act ii #- enjoyed what is this feeling flipping btwn so many settings to show how much they were clashing in every respect #- costumes!!#- was slightly bothered by autotune first half and then im not sure if they cut back on it or if i just got used to it #- probably more stuff that i might add later but can’t think of rn. overall nice experience don’t plan on rewatching anytime soon but still #intend to see part 2 #wicked 2024 spoilers #<- for the cameo mention mainly

#his name is Paul and while he is very much a Wild Animal he’s pretty socialized and chill #there’s an old dude here who I always see riding a motorized skateboard he made with a joint in his mouth #and I saw him outside one day and he made this clicking noise with his throat #and the pine marten just like. came right up to him and chilled on the bench #apparently every night he brings it snacks and he’s trying to train him a bit #my right tonsil is a Balloon #my muscles are sore from this last week (mud season is no joke but we are Fulfilled)#last night I fell asleep at 8 pm. then I woke up at 2 am. then 3. then 5. then 7. then 2 pm #I wanna write. #photo diary #image 1 - kind of interesting lacy looking clouds. Image 2 - pinky purple sunset stuff #image 3 - These REALLY cool flowers I saw in a field ? growing wild so like.. weeds I guess. but I like the color of them and how the #petals are small and layered. Image 4 & 5 - More recent hair growth progress. I still think it will never get much longer because #it's been basically the same lenght for multiple years now BUT I do feel like maybe it's getting like... just the tiniest bit longer?? Just #not as obvious of progress as the first few years. Like now if I take it out of the braids and actually hold it so it goes straight down th #very tips of the hair on one side goes down to the tip of my pointer finger. and on the other side goes a little past my thumb. and I #remember maybe last year or two years ago it was only to my knuckles or like midway down my thumb. so.. perhaps it's not reached a #maximum genetic possible length just YET as I'd thought it had maybe lol.. perhaps I could slowly gain a cenitmeter or two #here and there gjbjh.. Unfortunately incredibly doubtful it will ever be down to my knees though as I had wished. oh well.#image 6 - writing again... as always... Slowly chipping away... And looking for ways to make it go faster lol. The original premise was 8 #main characters with 6 quests for each. Then it was 5 with 6 quests. Now it's 4 with 4 quests each. And even that I'm like hmm... what #about having only 3... so it could be done faster... lol.. I think mostly just because I have no gaurantee of investment. So it's like #I could spend years and years doing 500.000+ words of writing and then have about 3 people total actually play the game and nobody cares #and nothing ever comes of it. You know? So I have to balance that somehow. And rather that put out the 100% complete version #be putting out like 'here's ENOUGH of it for you to see what the concept is and what it's like. and IF theres any investment then I #can put in the effort to finish the few bits that I left in more of a preview form'' type of thing. And then it's like.. well if I'm #limiting the initial scope anyway - how much is enough to cut away? and how much would be TOO much? etc. etc. I'm pretty sure I #already have it down to a balanced minimum but some days when I'm very stressed over my ability to actually finish anything I'm like..#ehhhh..maybe I could make another main character into a side character.. as a treat lol..#image 7 - cabbage noodle beef stir fry sort of thing. As usual I kind of cook the beef too long because I'm afraid of getting sick if it's #underdone despite preferring medium rare steak lol.. Funnily because usually making something at home has the advantage of you #being able to do it Exactly The Way You Like It whereas me cooking meat is often like.. ah yes.. the worse way that I dont even like. love #to make a tough chewy anxiously overcooked protein puck for myself. :3 Images 8 - 10 -- various plants from the deck. though #some of these pictures are old and they're no longer alive lol.. Most of my plants actually do live through the winter because I #painstakingly move them inside and outside and inside and outside depending on the temperatures. But sometimes.. one cannot #help but be lost. Especially the temperature change sometimes can make them more prone to mold and stuff. and humidity is #hard to control indoors. There's always one or two that deteriorate despite my best efforts. But that's better than every single one of the #dying because they alll freeze when it gets to 20F one night and I left them outside or something lol #ANYWAY.. hrm.. still working on friend quiz thing... and sculptures.. and videos maybe?? costumes... rghhhghhrrr.. (< to do list angst)

just found out that non-aromantics actually have feelings towards the people they decide to have a crush on. Apparently it’s not like, “hmmm should I consider this person for dating? what are the pros and cons here?” Or like, “I want to be really close friends with that person” But it’s like an actual emotional response or something? #this is what i was referring to in my last post #sometimes ideas will just pop into my head and i will be unable to resist the urge #i missed sprite editing. it had been a while since i last made a person's sprite #anyways her name is Akira and I haven't decided if it's Akira Tomori or Akira Hatano yet #i like both of their surnames a bunch #thinking of her from a scenario where Ayame and Kizuna survive the kg and get together a while afterwards #Akira is adopted. obviously. Her biological parents died in the tragedy she was adopted at around 4-6 years old #doesn't remember how her bio parents where because she was like? 1-2 years old when they died?#being with them in whatever happened that led to their deaths she may have some form of memory problem from the accident(?)#Akira is pretty forgetful and slow on the uptakes. but it's nothing too worrisome #she doesn't actually care that she can't remember her bio parents because the family she has now is much more important to her #she takes more after Kizuna especially in tems of personality (tho definitely not as bad as she used to be in Dra if you know what i mean)#put them in a room together and they will gossip and talk about random shit for hours #she loves Ayame too! they just don't talk a much?
