Breaking: Guy known as the Father of Gods and Men fathers gods and men
#Zeus#Can Mr. Πατὴρ ἀνδρῶν τε θεῶν τε please step up#Zeus' dalliances always result in the birth of a child. And the child is either a divinity; or a mortal hero/king/priest/all of the above#None of his kids are just Dudes who Exist. They all have some part in the mythical tapestry of Greece.#And none of his lovers are idk. Random village girls. They're all divine; or princesses.#If Zeus hadn't abducted Europa Cadmus wouldn't have founded Thebes. Do you understand how myths work.#And Hera responds to his inifidelities whenever her actions would serve the narrative#She has to hunt Heracles. She has to have Semele killed.#OK thanks

A little big Midoriya and Todoroki piece!
It's by far the biggest one I've ever done, including meltdowns because of running our of the backround colour and having to change that, and gosh it took long, but the motive is just so adorable, I had to do it!
{You can find the pattern here, and honestly consider checking this creator out, there are just soooo many good patterns!}

do you see my vision IM SORRY OK look, I had a wild fucking theory that maybe the ancient hero mentioned in the tapestry in BOTW and from the ancient hero aspect armor in TOTK... was actually a version of Ganondorf that just happened to be around at that time. And the only way to defeat Calamity Ganon was to be in disguise as a weird fucked up looking Zonai/Gerudo creatura so that people wouldn’t lose their shit over seeing another ‘Ganondorf’. Featuring the underrated inner design of TOTK Ganondorf’s tunic. It’s so BEAUTIFUL UGHHHh and yes this Ganondorf is supposed to look younger sorry if it doesn’t really. (Like if you wanna see more of this design tho cause detailing the robe as accurately as I could was hell) Since Ganon and Ganondorf are already taken I’ve decided to name this variation ‘Dorf’. idc anymore. he’s innocent your honor Just now remembered that Zelda kept the secret stone. I don’t think they ever answered how exactly she time traveled? Just that she’s able to with the help of the stone lmao lmk your thoughts and pls correct me if I missed anything

got visually spoiled on the literally last thing i was still actively missing and working towards in totk but i dont think im gonna like it anyway ...
if it is what i think it is, and what it looks like to be, its just yet another nail in the coffin (or however you say that) as to why the lore sucks in this game even tho it had such good setup and so much potential
#ganondoodles talks#totk spoilers#tagging it as such bc im gonna say my current thoguhts about it here#again its just visually and i havent seen the text to it yet#so please dont say anythign about it#but#im 100% certain its the reward for all shrines which i dont have yet#and first of all it looks dumb as shit#and second of all its supposed to be the ancient hero in the tapestry isnt it#the zonau got their grimy hands on that too dont they#the thing that was such a cool mystery all this time got solved just like that isnt it#nintendo saw us theorizing about gan being the ancient hero and thought oh gods now we cant give him nuance quickly invent some zonau excus#however that makes sense since they were supposedly long gone by the time the first calamity happened#which still happened even with the time fuckery going on since the tapestry still exists and the last guardian remains#tho it doesnt look quite like a zonau but more like some creepy ass unholy mix of a lizard and gerudo#im gonna wait with my final judgement since i havent read the text yet#but it for sure isnt motivating me more to get all the last 50 or so shrines#i regret finishing the underground first so much man#all you get is a you did it sticker#literally#should have done the shrines first so at least i couldnt get spoiled on that still#im guessing its funney reference or whatever#some mysteries are better left unsolved#didnt want to rush and get all shrines in a hurry and isntead explore it on my own since the exploring part and world is what i love#aside from the music#but i guess i gotta do that now#actual shrine hutning stream incoming i guess#:/

I know nothing about Mr Ancient Hero but he is blorbo coded
like dude, what even ARE you?
#blah blah blah#totk#totk spoilers#like obviously he has zonai clothing#as far as I can tell zonai don't have tails#but I could be wrong#and the green skin + red hair is very Ganondorf#just like the tapestry of the calamity 10000 years before botw#that's why so many people had the theory that the hero was a gerudo man#but no aparently hes a zonai(?)#since zelda is definetly part zonai it's safe to assume that there are more people that are decended from the zonai#so maybe our Ancient Tapesty Hero here is decended from the zonai and gerudo??#which would be super cool#cuz that would mean that the legendary hero could be born as something other than Hylian/human#I hope we learn about him in the dlc#I am DESPERATE to know more about him hgfshdfgsdh

Each of the major Zelda titles are very different from each other, partly because they are often leveraged to sell more new consoles and lean into the newer features and capabilities (ex: hardware that supports better memory and performance, motion and gyro controls, touch screen interfaces, 3D parallax, etc).
Twilight Princess sim-shipped on GameCube and Wii, the former of which flipped the graphics of the entire game to create the first right-handed Link, to align with a majority right-handed population as they played with sword-waving motion controls. The developers of course rendered the UI and text in separate layers.
Twilight Princess set the precedent of a right-handed Link in Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.
But the developers of both Hyrule Warriors and Cadence of Hyrule remembered that Link was classically left-handed and made him so in their games, which was nice to see.
#legend of zelda#twilight princess#skyward sword#hyrule warriors#breath of the wild#age of calamity#cadence of hyrule#link#loz link#legend of zelda link#if there is a flashback to an Ancient Link in TotK who is left-handed that would be incredible#the tapestry’s depiction of the Ancient Hero looked left-handed…

Currently working on some pictures based on the original Zelda game’s artwork for a mini-comic featuring the Ancient Hero from the First Calamity. Here’s a little preview sketch of the first page I’m working on with the original concept art on the bottom. I wanted to use enemies found in TotK instead of a vague shadow like the concept art has, I figured the ReDeads Gibdo were a good choice. They’ll be actually to scale in the final picture, these little guys are just a placeholder so I have a general idea of what I want to do when I come back to this piece.
