The show The Great North absolutely deserves to get as big as Bob's Burgers (it's made by the same team too!) I literally love it SO SO MUCH (just as much as Bob) and it kinda sucks to see it still be so far under the radar tbh.
It has all of the same heart, soul, and humor that Bob's Burgers has; but in it's own distinct way of storytelling with it's original characters and setting! While being a super similar enough vibe, it still stands apart from Bob's Burgers and can be enjoyed separately as it's own show! (But like, in a way where it could still work perfectly if there was ever a crossover! I HOPE WE GET THAT ONE DAY)
If you like literally ANYTHING about Bob's Burgers and haven't given Great North a solid chance yet, DO IT!
If you're looking for a cartoon that's still for a more mature audience but doesn't rely on anything adjacent to a Family Guy or South Park style of humor, Great North is a good place to start!
If you're looking for a new show to watch in general, give Great North a shot! At worst you might be a little bored, but at best you might have a new favorite to add to the list! :]

And now for an unexpected break in the Mission Hill posting I got caught up on Great North episodes after the really long hiatus and I can feel the BeefxSantiago brainworms creeping back in <3 I love Santiago SO SO SO MUCH he's such a weird little guy. 🧡 It's just my headcanon that he feels like someone who hasn't been a long-time Lone Moose resident. I like to believe he moved there pretty recently. Santiago “am I really pansexual or just desperate and lonely” Carpaccio. It’s both. The answer is both. 🤪

Bob's Burgers/ Great North Crossover AU (part 2)
Takes place in New Jersey
Bob/Beef: Spend the day in the restaurant. Beef tries to hide in the kitchen but Bob makes him work on his interpersonal skills by waiting tables.
Linda/Ham/Gene/Honeybee: Realize they all love the same interior design competition show and work on redecorating the apartment. Butt heads on styles and fashions. Linda/Ham vs Gene/Honeybee
Judy/Tina: Judy is introduced to the other teens (her and tammy share a VA so that could be fun) Jimmy Jr kinda crushes on Judy but she thinks he's awful and helps Tina get revenge on him.
Wolf/Moon/Louise: Spend the day at Wonder Wharf. Moon realizes he's terrified of roller coasters and Louise and Wolf help him deal with his fears and feelings of inferiority.
I dont know how all this would tie into a cohesive episode or 2 part episode. But i think at least this is how the pairings would go. I hope Gayle, Teddy and Mr Fishoeder would make appearances too.
Part 1 is here. It takes place in Alaska

I have binged and caught up with The Great North and it is a fantastic series! So many Bob's Burgers fans have taken a liking to The Great North and I can see why. It's a cooky loving family with its own identity, it doesn't feel like a cheap copy. You just naturally fall in love with the Tobins and their sense of humor.

Someone on the Great North writing staff is probably on tumblr.
Referencing huge naturals and clapping cheeks in one episode, I see you and I appreciate your humor.

Since the new season of The Great North started recently and I finally had some time to spare, I decided to draw some fan art of my two favorite adorable (and unapologetically gay) sweethearts! They’re also both relatable as heck, I can still remember being an awkward and gay 17 year old LMAO

Great Smoky Mountain National Park: Visitor Center
Did you know that the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is a World Heritage Site? These beautiful mountains, known as the Great Smokies, are located in both North Carolina and Tennessee, a part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a segment of the Appalachians.  This land, measuring nearly half a million acres, became a national park in 1940 and a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1983. The national park’s…
