compiling my headcanons for what video games dungeon meshi characters would like, if they were gamers in modern day

some taken from this post and my reblog additions there. added more characters, with some suggestions by friends/mutuals (marked by *asterisk ).

this can also be a games recommendation list based on your fav/most relatable characters too, if you want

characters that are not are included are bc i dont have ideas for them. if i only list the genre name but not any specific titles, its bc im not familiar enough with the character/genre to pick a specific game.

this list is, of course, biased towards games im more familiar with. feel free to ask me to elaborate on my choices or make suggestions in the comments

Laios' party:

Laios: plays lots of Monster Hunter. loves Spore but he doesnt often play past the tribal stage. likes Pokemon but he's more focused on catching the pokemon than following the story. played WolfQuest and DragonFable back in the day. enjoyed the concept of Bugsnax but wasn't interested in dealing with the NPCs

Marcille: mainly Dwarf Fortress, RTS games, some colony sims. but also sometimes The Sims, and dollmaker dress-up games. i could see her also enjoying Rollercoaster Tycoon and making elaborately-themed parks. might also occasionally indulge in some visual novels if she's in the mood for narrative she has Stardew Valley so she can have something to play co-op with falin, but its not a game she plays a lot of otherwise. when playing with falin, marcille micromanages the farm to maximize productivity, and does the decorations

Chilchuck: puzzle games and hidden object/escape room games as a video game-equivalent to finding/dismantling traps and lockpicking. i think he'd also enjoy Bejeweled.

Senshi: mainly Wii games and Cooking Mama. occasionally plays Snake on his 15-year-old nokia phone. i dont think he would enjoy games like Overcooked or restaurant manager games, because he likes to take his time making food, not stressing about customer service

Falin: some *Legend of Zelda games – she likes the exploration aspect in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, maybe also some of the toon zelda games like Minish Cap or Wind Waker she also plays Pokemon (*Pokemon Go when she's traveling), and i think she would enjoy some indie games, like Penko Park or Chicory: A Colorful Tale. plays Stardew Valley co-op with marcille – falin mainly takes care of the animals, mining, and picking the crops. occasionally makes improvement suggestions that marcille didnt think of

Izutsumi: i could see her enjoying games with parkour mechanics, like *Assassin's Creed, or Mirror's Edge. or maybe something simple but requiring cat-like swipes, like Fruit Ninja. despite her impatience, i think she could also enjoy action games with interesting longer narratives, as evidenced by [this omake] (relevant portion pictured below), so maybe *Final Fantasy 7 – my friend who's familiar with the game said "she’d find Cloud and Vincent relatable"

Kabru's party

Kabru: definitely Crusader Kings. maybe also some rpgs with relationship/faction mechanics, such as *Fire Emblem (one of the older ones or FE:3H) or Fallout: New Vegas (hes maxing out the speech stat asap) i think he would also enjoy mystery games like Pentiment and Return of the Obra Dinn – he would love the process of getting familiar with the many characters and deducing "who did what" in both games.

Rin: she takes pride in being an indie gamer (translating her disdain for upper class magic academy mages -> disdain for AAA games). given her chain-lightning magic in canon, i think she'd enjoy games with AOE-type magic, so maybe games such as Vampire Survivors. my mutual also suggested she might enjoy indie mystery visual novels like *Paranormasight, and that her AAA guilty-pleasure would be *Final Fantasy 14 – that rin is "a hardcore ff14 raider. would join PUGs and shot-call every week. #holm and diya might also play ff14 casually with rin but holm would be fishing mainly"

Mickbell: mainly Bethesda games like Fallout and Skyrim– enjoys the bootstrapper power fantasy in them. the type to go out of his way to pick up all the loot he can, to later sell

Kuro: enjoys the same games as Mickbell, but for the open-world exploration and investigation factors

Toshiro and Tansu's party:

Namari: her interest in fighting and weapons could translate to brawler/fighting games and action games with a focus on weapon stats – so maybe *Street Fighter, *God of War, and/or *Dark Souls. might play *Monster Hunter with laios but for the weapons. i could also see her occasionally enjoying truck simulators

Toshiro (Shuro): has the perseverance for soulslikes and other high-difficulty action and/or metroidvania games, but would take his time overthinking item/weapon synergies sometimes. given [his fondness for bugs], i could also see him enjoying Hollow Knight

Tade: would enjoy the cute aesthetics and lighthearted gameplay of Animal Crossing and Katamari. would also like idol anime rhythm games

Kiki: i think she would enjoy horror games such as Resident Evil, but would play it while super chill. i dont have much reasoning for this aside from vibes

Canaries:

Mithrun: plays Doom. got into Hollow Knight but still hasn't finished it because he keeps getting lost. senshi introduces him to Cooking Mama later on, which he finds surprisingly therapeutic

Cithis: plays Hitman and enjoys staging elaborate accident kills. i think she'd also enjoy The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, with her background as a devious fortune-teller

Fleki: surreal indie games like Hylics. also plays Team Fortress 2, and is a scout main. occasionally joins lycion in Animal Jam

Lycion: active WolfQuest and Animal Jam player. occasionally joins fleki in tf2

Pattadol: plays Stardew Valley – shes comparatively a normie, but on the meticulous side. she would enjoy perfecting her in-game farm

Otta: plays Genshin Impact. the serious reasoning is because of her (earth) elemental magic and how genshin has an elemental magic system (from my understanding. ive never played it). the joke reasoning is how some genshin players play to collect "waifus", and how otta goes through a lot of women in her dating life

Other:

Leed: runs her own guild in World of Warcraft

Winged Lion: god-games like WorldBox or Simmiland. and Darkest Dungeon (this ones mostly a joke)

Thistle: plays the original Plants VS. Zombies. also plays Minecraft and is very serious about it, but hasn't updated his game in years (translating the fact hes a 1000-year-old kid frozen in time -> playing "slightly old" games popular in the early 2010s)

Eddie couldn't help himself.

Well, ok. Rewind for a second.

Eddie was rarely able to help himself when the mood and timing were just right and his cock was just hard enough.

But tonight was a perfect storm.

His date canceled on him, Wayne was out of the house, he'd just read an issue of Batman featuring the true love of his life--one Dr. Pamela Isley--and he got inspired for an upcoming Hellfire Campaign.

"A haunted forest," he'd contemplated as he flipped through his Dungeon Master's Guide and wrote notes down. "No, an infected one." The Guide was carefully set on the table as he flipped through other books that he'd accumulated from library rummage sales and the second hand bookstore he favored in Indy.

He always liked to add some personal elements to the adventures and not go strictly by-the-book.

So from his pencil, an army of new creatures were born.

An old tree that housed a mimic-like creature.

A burrowing worm with hundreds of teeth that he affectionately nicknamed "Mouthy."

A moldy mushroom creature that released hypnotic spores.

And the crowning jewel...the boss...part human...part something else...with vines and a sharp-toothed grin and...

He scratched out a rough shape of the creature in the margins of his notebook and then squinted.

Now Eddie wasn't the best artist, but he could get by. Even to the untrained eye, his boss monster looked a little too much like Poison Ivy than he was comfortable with.

Those nerds would sniff him out immediately.

"Ok," his head tilted to the side, tongue sliding along the seam of his lips as he furiously erased parts of the figure. "Maybe...less boobs."

But the boobs were the best part.

"Boobs that...open up and turn into mouths?" He contemplated and then nodded and scribbled. "Venus flytrap boobs...yeah yeah yeah."

He snorted thinking of this boss seducing one of the players only for them to get their hands bitten off when they'd try to cop a feel. Some Botanical Femme Fatale.

"It'll serve them right," he snorted.

Even though he was sure, if he was in their position, he'd do the same.

"Alright, what else?"

And that was where he worked himself into a predicament.

Time was spent perfecting the Boss' body with all sorts of tentacles and teeth and dips and curves--

Not to mention all the ways that a player might be lured into the temptation of said Boss.

--and before long Eddie was well and truly fucked.

Well, more accurately, he wasn't fucked.

Nor would he be.

Because here he was, 9pm on a Saturday, dateless, with a drawing of a gorgeous, giant, monster woman...and a stiffy that he just couldn't ignore anymore.

"Damn," he sighed and leaned back, eyes clenching shut as he realized just how hard he was and just how much it ached just to sit there.

It was the best case scenario though: he had the trailer to himself, didn’t need to keep quiet or crank one out in the shower. He could take his time and savor the act.

Savor the fruits of his rogue imagination.

And he was at a bit of a standstill thinking about the mechanisms of his boss…what better way to figure out the ins and outs and what made it tick?

Before long he found himself in bed, propped up by pillows, jeans and boxers around his knees—he hadn’t been patient enough to fully undress—as he licked his Ticonderoga-and-big-pink-eraser-tainted palm in the absence of any other lubricant.

“Sometimes,” he hissed and let his eyes fall shut as he finally took his cock in his hand and squeezed. Delicious. “You just gotta go for old faithful.”

He treated himself to a few tentative strokes as he imagined himself in his foe’s forest.

His boots sloughed through the muck, clothes smattered with gore and remnants of spores and tar-like blood. He spotted her in the distance…draped in sheer fabrics that refracted the light like dew-covered cobwebs that stretched across the trees.

“Oh, that’s good,” he nodded and squeezed his shaft. If he got his players to focus on her clothes, her body…they wouldn’t be aware of her intentions.

He trudged across a vine-covered ground, the same vines that kept her tethered helpless to the trees. He called forth to assure that her rescue was imminent, but the more he closed the distance, the harder it got to navigate. Until he came to a halt right in front of her…

“Uh-huh.”

He pumped his fist.

…Against his will…

“Yeah.”

And again.

…As the vines slithered around his ankles and up his legs, locking him in place.

While the hand around his shaft twisted and pumped--fingertips dancing lightly as he circled the head and then back down--he traced pathways up his thigh with the other. He played with variations in pressure, much like the vines would, alive and throbbing.

He considered, in a moment of clarity, if his players would be disturbed by the trap they were lured into.

Perhaps they’d find some concern if the vines reached their waists—he traced up the indent of his hipbone and along his happy trail—or if they would only try to slash their swords through the intruding organisms once they were at their throats—he gripped his own throat tightly for a second.

But his neediness took over once again and his free hand found its way back downward and he cupped his balls instead. Less of an unsettling tightness and more of a pleasurable one.

He made to free the damsel, hilt of his sword gripped masterfully—

He snorted at the joke, amused by himself even as he was jerking off.

He couldn't get another word out as the images started up again in his head, and he quickly resumed his ministrations.

The boss approached him, motions smooth and unsettling, but her beauty belied the danger. Her mouth opened to offer her thanks...when her tongue slithered out of her mouth unnaturally and she licked along his jaw...

His fingers danced along the path the boss licked, along his jaw, down his neck. The hand around his dick became her hand. Or maybe a second tongue...could she have multiple mouths? Her boobs were already venus flytraps.

That would be a genius move, his boss not just one being, but made up of many in some sort of unholy amalgam. A hive mind, a swarm. Once you were in its clutches, it was too late.

Voice of The Dungeon Master: And so it begins...

The Narrator: You cross the now doorless doorframe and step onto the stairs... Isolated steps floating in darkness.

Scar: Ah!

Mumbo: Well this is dangerous.

Voice of The Dungeon Master: And eyes too... I know he's "The Watcher" and all but it's a bit on the nose.

The Narrator: Sure, darkness and eyes.

Mumbo: And spores...

The Narrator: Indeed, I suggest you don't breathe them in... The air in here is downright rancid because of the mycelium.

Scar: I'm starting to really dislike mycelium now.

The Narrator: Suddenly The Watchers cruel and yet...playful voice carries up the stairs.

Grian: Oh? Back already? I didn't think you would come back.

Voice of The Dungeon Master: Well...he definitely got presentation down.

The Narrator: Not. The. Time.

Grian: We are going to have such fun you and I.

Scar: I don't think It's going to be fun.

The Narrator: You need a game plan if you want to do this.

Enjoying celebratory drinks, games and dancing after their successful defeat of the Mother.

Final Summary below.

Final summary: Second time around playing the StrangerVille Mystery and I still found it super fun! The only downside is, technically, only one sim can really play the main part in this aspiration. The game simply does not allow more than one sim to play it at the same time. But! I found some work arounds and cheats that helped me do this.

Basically the first two milestones several sims can complete in the one household without you having to cheat. The last two milestones you will need to cheat for other sims to complete them.

At first I wanted just Bessie to play the main part, but then I messed up by having Celeste open the final door with her key card (3rd requirement in milestone #3), which then meant she was responsible for creating the vaccine, vaccinating sims and gathering a team to help fight the Mother (& fight the Mother!). I could also only get one sim one scanner device which meant only one hazmat suit & spore filter. I cheated these items for the other sims.

Good thing to note too is you cannot cheat & place a hazmat suit/scanner device on a vacation rental lot, the game told me 'your sim doesn't own this item'. Frustrating! But I just ended their vacation and then sent them back after adding a hazmat suit to their personal inventory while they were on their home lot. Also you will need a mailbox on your vacation lot as that's how the spore filter gets delivered to the main sim who asked for it.

I'll admit it was a bit chaotic at times playing this mystery with three sims but I did have a lot of fun. It's a great little mystery and if you haven't played it I would definitely recommend giving it a go!

Celeste, Alonso and Bessie all completed their aspiration and they all received the Hero of StrangerVille trait, but only Celeste received the milestone of defeating the Mother.

Off to Wish Camp! | A Look into CROB’s 7th Anniversary Update

Wait, has it really been 7 years holy shi-I’ve been around since Season 3, so to see the journey come this far feels nice. So let’s see what’s in store for us.

We’ve got a Star Candy Comet to see, something that only comes once every seven years! Will we get a part 2 to this event in 2030 lol? Not just that, but we’ve got a name for this lass, Cannoli Cookie! I like the fact that her sleeping bag is a roll cake.

Rest in peace, in peace to every single S’mores Cookie OC that people will now have to rework and rename.

I’m such a huge fan of the CGs they make. Yoga Cookie is E N L I G H T E N E D up there. Poison Mushroom sleeping again it seems, just don’t be spreading spores this time!

Hype. The Infinite Chests were top tier and I’m happy to see that a variant of them is returning for such a occasion!

As you guys know by now, I LOVE when there’s an event or mechanic that allows you to have interactions with your Cookies, so the fact that this is a thing and EVERY COOKIE is able to be met is so wonderful! Fans of everyone can be satisfied and no one is left out! Plus it might hits give me material to work with! ;)

At least it’s not a legendary magic candy and it drops in part two of the update.

It’s not really a fair contest for the other costumes since this one has a CG, but I don’t care, Cannoli’s SE outfit is the highlight for me. Currant’s and Butter Pretzel’s are sweet too, who knew Pretzel could rock blue so well! S’more Cookie will also be joining us for part two..too!

Oh right, there was something else that was posted before this. If there’s anything post worthy (I’m going to anyway lol), I’ll definitely post later about it! I don’t mind the new faces for now, but I’ll probably warm up to them eventually!

Let me tell you, this is definitely a step up from the…interesting events of the 6th anniversary. Seems like the Devs know what they’re doing for this one and I hope this means nothing but good stuff for the years ahead! I’ve had memories with this game, both good and crummy, but I could never drop it ultimately regardless. I’m too attached to this world, the stories told, the CUTENESS of it all. But what I treasure most were the characters, the Cookies…

…and I’m sure the Cookies treasure you as well.

All the times you’ve had fun with them, all the times you’ve ran with them, all the gifts you gave them, the care you have for them…they have nothing but you to thank for.

He lost 500 thaumarks, which is when you told him that he didn’t owe you anything.

Instead, you told him who you were, and you were using the teahouse as a base of operations

Azul, for once, was taken by surprise

You were a secret agent, gathering intel on different people

However, you shared nothing more on who the case was about

Turns out, you were a Diasomnia student working under Her Royal Majesty of the Briar Valley

There was word that someone was out to harm Malleus

He assured you that he would keep an eye out for anything back at the Mostro Lounge

You gave him a bunch of the tea served at your teahouse when you had to temporarily close it to apprehend the suspect.

This caused an alliance between the two businesses

Jade Leech

Azul had sent him to scout out the new teahouse that had opened on campus, as it was pulling customers like crazy

Well, he also went under disguise

There, a person challenged him to a game where you gamble a certain amount of thaumarks

It ended up being a draw, and he knew that meant you both cheated

He leaned in as you told him that you were a student from Diasomnia, collecting info from different people

Actually, he was the first one you tied with in a game, so he caught your attention just as you caught his.

It was a bit suspicious, but he was earnestly telling you that he had nothing to do with anything and his boss sent him here to scope out the competition that the teahouse brought to the Mostro Lounge

However, there was an understanding between the two of you where he would keep an eye and an ear open for anything

When you figured out who was wishing Malleus harm, you gave him a few different samples of mushroom spores to help you in taking the culprit down

They were rare samples, hailing all the way from Briar Valley, and he couldn’t turn it down

So you had yourself a partner

When it was all over, you went to Jade to thank him by placing a kiss on his cheek before going back to your teahouse

For once, the eel was stunned and flustered, but he melted into a grin before going on with the rest of his day

Floyd Leech

He actually went on his own accord, being curious about the new teahouse that kind of just popped up out of nowhere

Well, there were games on the tables, and he sat down at a chess one even though he didn’t really know how to play

Then, a random person asked if he wanted to play for money

He acted like he knew how to play, but quickly got his ass beat.

The person said that he didn’t owe them anything, and that you knew he wasn’t one of the suspects on your list

This confused the eel, and he asked for more information

He found out that you were a Diasomnia student, on the lookout for someone who wished to harm Malleus Draconia

Floyd found his new hobby, which was helping you find out who was possibly trying to hurt the ‘young master’, as you called him

It totally wasn’t so he could just spend more time with you and impress you with his intimidation tactics…

When the person was apprehended, he was sad about not being able to spend time with you, and he even clung to your ankle so you wouldn’t leave

You smiled as you told him that he was always welcome to chess lessons from you in your teahouse

It was absolutely adorable how his mood immediately brightened back up, excited about the prospect of spending even more time with you

He let go of your ankle as his brother called him on his phone, and Jade noted how happy Floyd was.

This grass isn't on a particularly steep hillside though, so it might be in patches everywhere. Also- these seem to be murals? Like, it's not in a pattern, it's like a giant something painted a drawing in the grass.

When the lightning flashes, there's a goddamn TYPHOON in the sky. It is STORMING

MUSHROOM AREA?? Malice is EVERYWHERE. The enemies are covered in malice and the fungus seems to be releasing spores? I dont know what else that particle effect coult be. The blue stuff at the bottom looks...collectable. My personal theory is that these could be "tears" you could collect? They float around almost like how wax floats around in Sky Children of the Light, so maybe I'm just biased.

That. That is a goddamn hydra. Dragon. Thing. Nothing like Dinral or Nayru at all, so not a dragon in that sort of sense. This thing is so fucking cool i cannot wait to kick its ass

We get a really good look at this shield, he seems to have a new bow too, but I'm not exactly a weapons expert for BOTW so I could be wrong. This is definitely Sheika-esque, but it's not what we're used to. Maybe this is something from the Sheika 10,000 years ago? Who knows.

The moon is shown to be almost exclusively red. (This blood moon is fucked up bruh) And it looks as though it will stay that way for the whole game, although again I could be totally wrong. The sky's normal (besides the islands) during the daytime. The whole "Night time is more dangerous" thing from BOTW has a chance to be intensified a LOT here.

Especially when the moon is throwing hands and blowing Hyrule up. that's not good. In all honesty, the "blowing up" part is likely part of a cutscene, but its funny to think about. Also I don't think the malice is coming DIRECTLY from the moon, but the moon (or Ganon THROUGH the power of the moon) is summoning these rockets of calamity to fuck shit up.

At first, I wasn't sure if the storm was going to be relevant but you can see it a bit here again in the top left corner. Maybe something is hiding in the eye of the storm? Maybe you have to appease an entity to clear it, like in the thunder trial puzzle in BOTW.

Under the cut since its the finale and I don't want to be That Person who spoils a finale for anybody if I can help it 💖

First thing: KAI, my baby, noooooooooo

Okay, do I love the Halo games? So much. So, so much. Did I know what actually adapting them would mean would happen in the live action show, especially since s2 clearly wanted to pull closer to the games? Yep.

Did I want to see characters I've come to love, appreciate or love to hate get infected by the Flood? HECK NO.

However, the fact that the Flood spores were much smaller than their game counterparts (Evil Cabbages with feet were my initial thought of them when I met them in Combat Evolved the first time 😂🤷‍♀️😉) was a definite win, IMO. Obviously they couldn't be germ-sized in game and you be able to shoot them. But just the visual of them being smaller and much more virus/germ-sized made them a bazillion times scarier because they felt more real in that way to me.

Why do I watch so many zombie things? Zombies FREAK ME OUT SO BAAAAAD, MAN. And the body horror, dude. Ohhhhh, I can't with the body horror and people getting mutated and... UGH. Yet I've made, like, half a dozen Alien/Prometheus vids. I AM A CONUNDRUM, what can I say? 🤷‍♀️😂

Now, ever since Vannak died, I've been trying to figure out how we can, you know, bring him back to the show. I still don't know how it could actually be done but one thing I do know is that KAI COULD TOTALLY BE FOUND INJURED BUT ALIVE. Her Mjolnir can protect her from deep space, so it could have totally protected her against a big KABOOM, too. Her body is intact, she wasn't vaporized or whatever, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. *nodnods very seriously*

I think I'm going to have to either invent time travel or cloning to save Vannak, though. Give me a minute. 🤔😉

If we do get another season (or 2 or 5 😉), I'm wondering if they're really serious about Silver Team being gone, if we're going to get Blue Team, then? Mannnnn, I don't want Silver to be gone, though. I've fallen so in love with Kai, Riz and Vannak now, too!

I'm kinda glad that not-Thel!Arbiter wasn't Thel because that was a good ending to his storyline, with Chief's "I know what he said" and finishing him off. Obs, though, I don't want Thel to have met the same fate.

Makee's line about being a demon, too? That was a good one, yep. Still annoyed that John's first question to her last ep wasn't "Um, hi, nice to see you and how is it that you're alive?" That being unanswered was just one of those clearly "because we changed showrunners," things.

John and Cortana (now in his suit), together again, YESSSSS!!!

Hello, Guilty Spark! If this is Gravemind they're talking about, they NEED Dee Bradley Baker for the voice. Just, no question, don't even think of casting anybody else.

John doing that badass "fight through the smoke and haze to save the day" made my fangirl heart go pitter-pat, what can I say? I'm easy to please, lol!

In summary, I did love s2 in a different way than I loved s1 and I hope we'll get news of a renewal ASAP!

hey so i've had a handful of mods in spore for a few years, but i was wondering, is there a specific best definitive place to find mods for spore in general? like rather than searching a bunch of different websites, is there any big collection or database of them? was also wondering how to get online content working as i do have an ea account and own spore and spore galactic adventures on both steam and the ea/origin thing (installed on the latter), but have never been able to get online stuff working

davoonline is my favorite source for mods, it has some of the best ones in the system and all the ones displayed are up to date with the latest version of the game. unfortunately the davoonline discord is also a source for many mods that are unavailable elsewhere.

i am not aware of a single definitive place that has hosted every spore mod ever, but an archival project would be excellent to get into. there are many mods that have been lost to the aether due to bans or self-redactions

regarding getting online content to work, the method i used was to log in successfully on the ea copy first [register a spore account on the official spore website, not in-game] and then log in on your steam copy.

Post game Circle of Spores druid (kind of resistant this is my headcanon i can do what I want*) durge Tav (Amanita) and unascended Astarion move into Cazador’s old place.

Astarion acts like a cat bringing his prey back as a prize (dead or dying humanoids) so Amanita can use them to create her own little fungi garden and controlled myconids. He does it willingly because he gets some amazing blood and she gets a new body for her collection. They host way too many extravagant parties that always have the best bordering on or definitely illicit substances which people beg them to be able to sell or create. They aren’t giving away their secrets any time soon, but they do let people explore the fungi garden, which quickly exploded from the initial set up for it to covering most of the mansion.

Astarion loves the cover the fungi provide from the sun, though he does have many complaints about colors clashing and the occasional piece of furniture or painting being overtaken (“that is a one of kind armoire from Cormyr! Why are there torchstalks all over it?” “Guess they like the wood. Must be well suited for moisture retention”).

Amanita is just happy to have a place where it isn’t the death that is the focus, but what can come of it.

*in this hc durge lets Orin stay as chosen and Bhaal just sort of lets her do her own thing because she is definitely still committing murders without him prompting her to do so. She just vibes.

hello! I'd like to talk about one of my commanders, a card with a really unique effect from Modern Horizons 3 who has yet to see the variation in deck building that they probably should!

But before I get to that, I'd like to talk about one of my favorite decks from magic history, Eggs! Eggs is a deck that revolves around the same game pieces regardless of format: 1 and 0 mana artifacts that you can "crack" for a card and an effect of some kind. You win by using some kind of mana engine to draw your entire deck. one card at a time. Once you've thinned your deck, you can achieve a loop of some kind to end up winning the game. It's the ultimate power trip!!! Taking a ridiculous amount of game actions just to lose to not drawing the exact piece you need, choosing when/when to not shuffle becomes a game of percentages at the slot machine it's fantastic lol If you have yet to watch Pro Tour Return to Ravnica's finals, it's definitely worth a watch! The winning list ran Lotus Bloom as its mana engine of choice and won by cracking eggs (and lands through ghost quarter!) and then reanimating them + Lotus with Second Sunrise/Faith's Reward before cracking everything again to get ever closer to an empty deck and then win by looping a single Pyrite Spellbomb :>

So who's at the helm of my deck? As I went into MH3 spoiler season, Six really stood out to me! I love wide open cards that let you brew in a billion different ways :>

Six (of Wrenn and Six fame) is a 3 mana 2/4 Reach who reads:

Reach Whenever Six attacks, mill three cards. You may put a land card from among them into your hand. As long as it’s your turn, nonland permanent cards in your graveyard have retrace. (You may cast permanent cards from your graveyard by discarding a land card in addition to paying their other costs.)

Most Six lists so far on EDHREC run stuff like Spore Frog and Sakura-Tribe Elder + Sacrifice effects to accrue value/discard lands and then end the game through cards like Avenger of Zendikar/landfall effects + mass land reanimation spells!

I took a bit of a different spin on Six, one that no one seems to have replicated yet (side tangent um. being the only deck running this stuff on EDHREC is so funny, you can literally see my deck on the website!) I made an eggs list! With Six out on the field, cards like Conjurer's Bauble and Mishra's/Urza's Bauble read "discard a land to draw a card" With any mana discount, Chromatic Star/Sphere and a bunch of other eggs read the same :D

My gameplan is to get Six out and protected and then draw a whole bunch of cards and gain a tooon of value with cards like Glaring Fleshraker, Turntimber Sower and Sarinth Steelseeker

If you can keep hitting lands off your eggs, your storm count'll go way up recasting your baubles which you can use to cast cards like Sprouting Vines to cast MORE BAUBLES!!!! Or win through typical storm payoffs like Aeve & Aetherflux Reservoir to blast em all for super lethal damage >:D (or you could just win by simply having more cards and tokens than opponents can handle!)

Would love to make a little warriors fangame. Either a serious one that follows the plot or a silly Pokemon style game that has the kitties evolve into warriors. Would be based in their WCR incarnations.

Firestar would be a Fire/Fairy type. (Rusty/Firepaw is Normal/Fire, Fireheart is pure Fire)

Tigerstar would be Dark/Poison type. Tigerkit would just be pure Poison, and evolve when "traded" (using a linking cord item) to simulate the feeling of being abandoned.

Leafpool would be Fairy/Water (Leafkit and Leafpaw being pure Fairy, evolves when leveled up near the Moonpool

Hawkfrost would be Poison/Ice, and would have Arena Trap as an ability.

Jayfeather would Rock/Poison type, and would probably have a rebranded Compound Eyes, same effect (boosted accuracy stat) just... Different name.

Sol would be pure Dragon type and have the abilities Intimidate and Unnerve.

Dovewing would be pure Flying type. She would have the hidden ability Soundproof.

Brokenstar would be Grass/Fighting. And in his Dark Forest forme, have the ability Effect Spore.

Violetshine would be Poison/Ghost, and evolve using 2 linking cords, meaning she would need to be traded twice. Poor girl.

Sleekwhisker would be Dragon/Electric, and would probably only evolve into Sleekwhisker if you have Darktail in your party.

Shadowsight would be Ghost/Normal. He would learn Night Daze, and evolve into Shadowsight with an Ice Stone. Lol.

Ashfur would be Water/Dark. He would evolve into Bramblefake when leveled up with a fainted Bramblestar in the party. Because I find some evolution methods hilarious.

Sunbeam would be Normal/Bug. She would have a LOT of support/debuff/healing moves. Pollen Puff would definitely be in Sunbeam's move pool!

Berryheart would be pure Bug. Though, she would learn a lot of status moves. Nasty Plot, Worry Seed.

Tigerheart/Tigerstar learns this move.

I don't care what type he is, I just know he knows this.

Yeah... I'm more likely to do this.
