I adore that KH has characters that parallel each other in multiple ways. It's not just Ventus = Sora = Roxas, Terra = Riku = Axel/Lea, Aqua = Kairi = Xion, but you can mix and match and it'd make sense.

Sora = Terra: Both couldn't overcome the darkness and nearly or fully get Norted. They fail their Mark of Mastery and pretty much go missing. Both tend to be associated with rage in one way or another.

Riku = Aqua: Made to be the Masters in their respective trios, the Responsible One^tm, struggled with darkness and were in the Realm of Darkness for a while

Kairi = Ventus: Pure heart of light, had to go to Sora to recover/hide, struggled with being left behind

Sora = Xion: It's interesting how alike these two can be (though of course, you'd assume so naturally), but sometimes even more so than Sora and Roxas at times, specifically their sacrificial behavior

And I could go on and on, but that's the basic gist of it. It makes for interesting analysis and imagery. On the even more fun end, it makes for potentially fascinating potential team-ups!

Introducing! ELESA, the new kid on the block! She's a tiny bedraggled child from Sinnoh and not all that familiar with Galarian, the spoken language in Unova. (One day she'll be amazing. Right now though, she just wants to go play in the mud. And maybe get a better set of hearing aids.)

When not bitterly lonely, she’s scheming to run back to her old home. Or chasing the local patrat. Or watching nervously from the sidelines as other children play on the swings. Oh elesa. (loosely inspired by @/noxstrages' incredible comics about elesa's origins! Ty for the food.)

A bit ago I was looking through the g1 timeline wiki and I saw that Skyfire and Starscream now had a 5 million year old age gap and I was like oh? That makes their dynamic so much more interesting especially how innocent he was portrayed in fire in the sky, I also wanted to share my hc on why Skyfire never brought up Starscream again

What he's done to his son makes him deeply uncomfortable with himself #but that discomfort means absolutely nothing when he refuses to change or become a better person #and he does refuse to change. changing is hard #he still keeps hurting Dev at every turn and maybe to tries to justify it to himself as being for Devs own good #but regardless he is still refusing to listen to him and hurting him even more in the process #idk im rambling #I like to keep the abuse balanced out with these nothing little concessions on Dales part #tbh even this concession didnt come from the good of his heart he just wanted to avoid making a scene #also because the visual of Dale deciding CARRYING him everywhere is better than just letting him have his cane is very funny to me
