Before Jimin sits next to Jungkook, he looks composed but somewhat serious or detached. Almost like he's passively existing in the moment. He's physically present but not necessaring expressive.

After Jimin sits next to Jungkook his whole demeanor changes instantly. His posture becomes more relaxed, his facial expressions become livelier and there's an unmissable light in his eyes. Its like a silent but obvious Oh, you're here! moment.

This is more fascinating and interesting because it is a natural, unconscious reaction. The fact that his expression changes so naturally and effortlessly suggests that Jimin genuinely affects his mood.

We all have people who make us feel instantly at ease. The way Jungkook responds to Jimin's presence is so automatic that it feels deeply ingrained. It suggests that Jimin is a personal source of comfort for him. Jimin brings out a side of Jungkook that is warm, free and full of joy.

Sometimes the strongest bonds don't need words. The way his body language adjusts and how his face softens says a lot. Its in the subtle details that you see the real connection.

This isn't an isolated incident. There have been multiple instances where Jungkook's mood or energy seems to brighten around Jimin.

Why would he say this?

Surely he's been on many trips. Even in 2023 apart from those trips for AYS with Jimin he went on other trips with his friends. So why would he say the trips for AYS were the best?

Because it was with Jimin. That's what made it the best experience for him. Traveling and exploring with his bf.

Its for this same reason we get to see a shift in Jungkook's demeanor after the seat switch in MMA 2018.

Jungkook is naturally close with all the BTS members and he has many other friendships outside of BTS but there's no denying there's something unique and deep about the way he interacts with Jimin.

We have seen how even in group settings Jungkook often ends up near Jimin. Whether its at award shows, interviews or casual moments he naturally gravitates to Jimin.

Jungkook is affectionate with all the members but his level of touchiness and physical comfort with Jimin is distinct. He often leans on Jimin, seeks out hugs or casual touches. He is protective around Jimin, loves to cook for him and doesn't hesitate to show his emotions openly when they're together.

If it weren't for Jimin I don't think we would have gotten to see Jungkook's naturally uninhibited, warm, affectionate and romantic side.

Hm upon posting that Beelzebub thing, realized it'd be very embarrassing to be in Hell while on your period.... Beelzebub is already bad enough, but I feel like the others who aren't as familiar with humans or human bodies and menstruation, the second they smell blood, they're freaking out 😭 anyway, here's some headcanons for just the kings:

◇ Satan probably has some general idea of what a period is, he's fairly knowledgeable, but there's a solid minute where he's ready to kill because he smells blood on you and is convinced you've been hurt. Takes a lot of restraining to get him calm enough to listen to you so you can tell him it's just your monthlies. After that he's pretty good. Doesn't like to see you in pain, and he gets very restless knowing there's not really anything he can do. It's the only time he'll let you cuddle with Ppyong, if it makes you feel better. He'll likely scare off everyone else, though, and prefers to keep you where he can see you until it's done.

◇ Mammon is wonderfully sweet when learning about your period, and is probably a rare one to ask questions about the info you give him, too. He has the wealth to get you everything you need for your period... and then some. Every new gadget out there, he's buying it for you to try. It's over the top but he means well. His master hurting causes him hurt, too. Even Bimet is a little kinder in his words (and its a good time to milk a little sympathy from him with your tears, because he panics wonderfully).

◇ Leviathan gets extra anxious and irritated around you, almost like he's having sympathetic period symptoms, but it's also just because he smells the blood and it brings up bad memories. He's a little gentler, at least, and maybe tries to keep you settled in a room of his choosing until your period is done. Brings you whatever you need because seeing you suffering does tug on his heartstrings, even if he won't admit it. He's a sweetheart, but he'd rather explode than let on that he cares. He's also going to ward off others from seeing you, wanting to be the only one taking care of you in this sensitive state, much to the disappointment of his three men.

◇ Belphegor will rub against you wrong during your period, but never intentionally. He cares, but he doesn't care like that, you know? Beleth will really be the saving grace here, talks to you in that kind Southern drawl he's got, fetches you a drink and a blanket if you need it. Probably will apologize on behalf of his king for being a piece of work when you're suffering lmao. But at least Belphegor makes for a great napping partner. If you get horny and need him, he doesn't mind the period part. But, he will leave the cleaning up to you or his right hand man. In fact, he may even sleep through the sex itself, tbh.

◇ Asmodeus.......... He's no stranger to periods whatsoever. It goes without saying, but number one thing with him will be period sex. He's heard enough about how sex could help relieve your pain, and he's more than happy to volunteer to help in that regard. But that being said, he's not entirely shameless. If you manage to resist him, he'll make do with holding you and maybe telling you some tales from his visits to Earth, raunchy or not, as a means of distraction for you. You'll just have to excuse his thing poking into you the whole time, and perhaps some wandering hands.

◇ We've already discussed Beelzebub previously, but just to keep it all together... He's a freak. Its not his favorite time, per se, but he still kind of loves when you're on your period??? He's always obsessed with your scent and it's even worse during your monthly. Another one who is happy to fuck you or eat you out during your period if you want him to. But if not, then he'll satisfy himself just hanging around. Similar to Belphegor, he may get on your nerves, so high likelihood that Bael will be the one helping you the most, not that he'll complain about it. He does have the same philia as his king so he does enjoy being around you, too, he's just much more courteous about it.

◇ Lucifer will be the most normal one, somehow, long familiar with periods and how to help them. He doesn't exactly have Midol or Aleve, or typical period products, but he'll work it out. Probably makes some kind of medicinal compound out of herbs that relieves pain, and he at least supplies you with cloths as your pads. He knows, too, what foods you should eat that will best replenish your iron, your energy, and decrease fatigue. Really, his whole squad is in on it, working to make you feel better until your period is done, and it's a little embarrassing. But they all mean well, and if anyone's ideal for care, it'll be the healers.

I’m asking this out of pure curiosity, in another post you said one of the reasons you don’t like the nightmare critters is because they don’t follow the design rules set by the smiling critters, exactly what do you mean by that? Like in your words what does a critter have to look like to be considered a smiling critter? I’m not trying to be rude or anything I’m just trying to understand what you mean

I dont find this rude don't worry- a lot of people don't actually notice this, but sometimes when a group of characters are designed together, in order to make them look cohesive, there are unspoken rules that may go unnoticed to viewers untrained eye, but helps keeps the characters looking like they came from the same place.

I mentioned, back when I was into Welcome Home, that they used a very special rainbow pallet that hardly ever included purple.

And when old black and white cartoons are brought up, there's specific clothing and anatomy (like pie cut eyes and hose-like limbs) that define the rules of the era.

If you want a cohesive character design, you have to pick out the rules, and then decide when breaking them would benefit the character in a way that won't break the viewers immersion.

Some of the most obvious rules I caught for the smiling critters:

- 2 color pallet.

- Simple Charms

- Tongues but NO TEETH

- Dynamic posing that speaks to their personality

Some of the critters break these rules for the benefit of diversity, but never ALL of them! Dogday is the leader, so he gets an extra color, Crafty is all white, but her CHARM is rainbow, so it balances it out. Kicken doesn't use a lot of his second color, because the LEADER is also using that color.

None of their charms get that detailed. All of them maintain the no teeth rule because that was the whole fucking point of their creepy factor- big open GAPING maws, no teeth. And all of their poses spoke to their personalities. Half of them aren't just *standing there* with a hand up for no reason, and none of them used the same pose.

Now let's compare with these rejects.

Ignoring the fact that Mob Entertainment failed to realize they didn't even post the right images for the first three nightmare critters they showed off (failing to include the iconic smiling critters line-shadow-effect)

-Simon, Maggie, Rabie, Allister and Touille break the color pallet rule, this amount needs to be lowered. To like 3 at most. Holy shit.

-Icky, Maggie, Touille, and Baba's charms are FAR to detailed, they do not need to be.

-THE TEETH OH MY GOD I HATE THE TEETH SO FUCKING MUCH you have ruined anything scary about them in one simply design choice I hope you're happy Mob entertainment.

- Touille and Allister have the same pose. Icky and Maggie have the same pose. Simon and Poe have the same pose. And NONE of them are as effective at telling their personalities as much as the smiling critters were.

Further more- even beyond rules. Icky is FUNDAMENTALY FLAWED as a design. They're ugly- not to mention we all struggled to know what the fuck he actually WAS supposed to be when he was released. It took someone pointing out that he didn't have a tail for me to realize he was one of those toxic frogs.

If you're gonna make something based on a group of characters you ALREADY made, and try to pass them off as new characters, I expect the rules to be the same. These are ugly knock offs made to sell more plushies on Mob entertainments website and I hate them with every FIBER of my being.

these two are incredibly bonded despite everything.

but they damn sure didnt get off on a good start.

following my personal timeline trent had just broken things off with cornelius. and neither of them were particularly closeted or reserved about their faggotry.

so for a good minute kirby didnt even want to be seen talking to his gay ass at all in case it gave him a Reputation.

by some miracle they started talking, or rather, hurling insults at eachother thanks to trent spilling punch on kirby at the jock's halloween party.

the jocks love hosting shitass parties for a number of stupid reasons, you see. and trent likes getting wasted.

after a rough encounter at the punch bowl the two continued taunting eachother every time they made eye contact.

for entirety of one whole week, at least. then trent decided 'hey he's kinda cute when he's angry'

and so began the incredibly arduous task of: flirting with kirby until he stops yelling slurs (and throwing hands).

thankfully this Also took about a week and they moved onto just mumbling slurs inbetween smooches because of how insanely, well, sexually frustrated they were.

these teens are fucking insane but thats just how bullworth is.

trent then worked up the nerve to ask him on an actual date, kirby begrudgingly agreed, jimmy busted them while getting on pinky's good side, aaand trent got his ear chewed off for it.

they fought about kirby's whole internalized homophobia at this time cause he damn sure wasnt the only faggot in school.

(and it was really getting under trent's skin because he was practically hatecrimed out of his last relationship)

they weren't technically boyfriends at that point due to kirby's insistence. but it felt like a breakup all the same.

they got back together at the jock's christmas party though. something something 7 minutes in heaven i dont know and i dont want to particularly put much thought into that.

point being shit was messy for a hot minute but trent showed kirby things about himself he could Not ignore.

so he wanted to try again with him. and this time he chilled out on practically Hating the guy he was macking on.

trent also cooled it with how, well, Bold he could be. actually made an effort to not embarrass kirby in public and whatnot.

things had to be lowkey in order to not be harassed of course.

but trent's mere presence was enough to turn kirby's ears pink sometimes.

in the bleachers, across the cafeteria, walking down the street, etc.

and god help him when they're paired up in class.

kirby loved the rush all the same though. and trent just found him fuckin incredible if i'm frank.

trent spoke highly of him to his friends, and sometimes just outright dragged them to see kirby on the field or in the arcade absolutely killing it on DDR.

they were much more forward in private of course, even if kirby was incredibly slow to open up about most of his interests and genuine self.

trent helped with that from the start; showing him how to be authentic and happy with himself.

same as all actors allow others to Reflect on their performances.

and over time kirby started to see through trent's own act.

grounded him, tried keeping him sober, etc.

if he had to keep it real and face his own reality, well, so did trent.

and honestly kirby wasnt a fan of the concept of getting shitfaced in general. didnt smoke, seldom drank, didnt huff anything.

that being said trent and him Did bake some edibles once or twice.

split one, went to the movies again, trent got shushed by old people several times because he wouldnt stop rambling.

now That was a fun time.

- jean and andrew get drafted to the same pro team, neither of them interact much, maybe a nod or half smile after a good play. stays that way until they play kevin amd neils team, who invite them out after the game. kevneil are being argumentative and flirty so jean keeps making sarcastic comments under his breath and andrew doesnt laugh but he does buy jean drinks for the rest of the night

- they start bonding at an away match when neither of them can sleep they don't talk much but there's an understanding

- they're fwb whilst they play for the same team & the mutual understanding of their similar trauma allows them to experiment sexually in a safe environment

- andrew gets drafted away after a couple of seasons, cue both of them pining because turns out they def want to be more than friends

- jean flies out to whichever state andrew ends up at, legit romcom moment, standing in the rain, jean has a bunch of flowers because he is a romantic goddamit

- andrew is fucking obsessed with thia giant stood on his doorstep like a bedraggled cat & hates that he absolutely loves the fact that jean wants to romance him

- cue years of long distance, whilst they play on different teams. when they both retire they move in together, in the same city kevneil are still play. renee and jeremy are also close by. family finally together yayayyaya.

- their favourite date night is going to their local pretentious arthouse cinema then going for ice cream afterwards and shit talking whatever they saw

- jean write andrew poems, which andrew never mentions but keeps in a box in his bedside table

- they both love watching cooking shows, and andrew recreates whatever jean seems most interesting in

- kev and neil get cats and neil is convinced that cats are the source of pure happiness so when jeandrew are still long distance neil shows up on andrews doorstep with a cat hands it over without a word

- he does the same thing to jean

- kevneil love to argue about who clocked jeandrew first but what they don't know is that renee placed a bet on them with jeremy the second andrew started on jeans team

- jean is the only person andrew would ever submit to in the bedroom and jean takes this v seriously

- Andrew drives most of their d/s dynamic, jean only feels comfortable trying things that andrew wants

- jean will eventually ask for things but not until a few years into their retirement

- once they retire they get a dog, and then another one, and then another cat

- all of their pets come from Neil showing up, knowing exactly who can look after a small animal that needs a gentle home

- jeans favourite part of retirement is taking the dogs out on a hike, andrew refuses to go but saves all the photos jean sends him from his walks to a special folder in his phone

They were sitting on the couch in Tommy's house, a movie playing quietly on the tv. The only light came from a nightlight Tommy had installed in the hallway after he'd stubbed a toe one too many times in the night and the tv itself. Evan’s head was resting on his shoulder and Tommy was slowly working his fingers through the soft curls near his temple.

Things were going well, this time around. Their second six month anniversary had been a few weeks ago. They'd celebrated by going out to dinner (definitely not Micelli's) and exchanging small presents. Tommy had gotten Evan a book about his latest research fixation. Evan had gotten him paints for a hobby Tommy was picking up again. They were both delighted and had shared a kiss over the slice of molten brownie cake they’d ordered to split. The paints were perfect for the painting Tommy was working on now, in fact.

One he hoped would celebrate another milestone.

As the movie came to an end, neither made a move to turn it off. The credits rolled and the screen shifted back to the dvd menu, music playing quietly. Tommy turned his head to kiss the top of Evan's head. He didn't stop the slow movement of his fingers in his hair but it was hard to keep them steady. Butterflies roiled in his belly as he contemplated the question he was thinking of asking. Then, Evan turned his head a little deeper into Tommy’s neck, letting out a little pleased, purring sound. The warmth that spread through Tommy’s body eased some of the nerves.

Yeah. He wanted this. Wanted Evan. Forever. Now to see if he wanted it to.

He resolutely did not think about the fact that he was mirroring their first six month anniversary.

“Hey, Evan?” Tommy asked as Evan's breathing settled into a deep, slow pattern. “You still awake?”

“Mmm,” Evan hummed back, nuzzling his nose against the side of Tommy's neck. “Why?”

“I was talking to Howie the other day and he mentioned something,” Tommy started, struggling to keep his voice even. He didn't stop playing with Evan’s hair, taking some comfort in the soothing motion.

“Yeah? What did he say?” Evan asked, leaning back enough to meet Tommy’s eyes.

“He said that you were complaining that the lease on your place is up in a few months and they're upping your rent,” Tommy replied. He swallowed hard at the sudden intense expression in Evan's eyes. So he hurried on before he could back out. “And, if, you know, you didn't want to deal with it anymore, ah, maybe you could move in here? With me? Have it be our place?”

“Our place?” Evan repeated softly, the hand he'd had resting on Tommy's thigh tightening.

“Yeah, if, if you want,” Tommy nodded. “I know it's only been six months since we got together again but we've known each other for over a year now. I love you and I want to make a life with you. If you want. Maybe. If it's not too fast.”

“Too fast?” Evan chuckled then pulled Tommy in for a sweet kiss. “It's not too fast for me at all, sweetheart. I wanted us to live together the first time, remember? But are you sure? This isn't too fast for you? I can deal with my landlord, much as I might complain.”

Tommy kissed Evan again then leaned back so he could see his whole face. He needed to see what expression he had, what was in his eyes. Was he humoring him? Or did he really mean it? But all he saw was an earnest happiness on Evan's face. Tommy breathed out a sigh that released the anxiety he'd been feeling. The butterflies in his stomach settled and the warmth flamed along his limbs. He cupped Evan's cheek, rubbing his thumb along his cheekbone.

“It's not too fast for me. I want this, I want you here. So, is that a yes?” Tommy asked softly, a smile tugging at his lips. “Will you move in with me, Evan?”

“It's a yes,” Evan smiled and leaned into Tommy’s hand. “I want to be here. I'll definitely move in with you.”

Before Tommy could do more than smile wider, Evan lunged at him. He wrapped his arms around Tommy’s shoulders and crashed their mouths together. While they kissed, Evan used his weight to push Tommy down onto the couch. They kissed for a while, hands roaming over backs and down arms. Then Evan pulled back and stared down at Tommy with an expression that was half stricken and half anticipation.

“I'm gonna need to make so many lists,” Evan breathed, his voice hoarse. “Like, so many. Stuff to keep, stuff to donate, stuff to give to family or friends...”

“Not right now,” Tommy said firmly. He pulled Evan back down and whispered against his lips, “I have other plans for you right now.”

Evan laughed, kissing Tommy again, perfectly willing to be distracted.

A few months later, Tommy reflected that it was a good thing he loved Evan as he hauled boxes into the house. Standing in the kitchen was Evan, a few of the threatened lists in his hands. He smiled as he saw the word Kitchen written on the boxes in Tommy’s hands.

“Hey just set them down here and we can figure out where things go later,” Evan gestured at the kitchen table. “Is that the last of them? After my last trip, it only looked like there were a few left.”

“That's all of them,” Tommy sighed.

He headed to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water. He closed his eyes and drank thirstily, tilting his head back. A few errand drops escaped his lips and tracked over his jaw and down his throat. He was distracted enough that he didn't see the sudden hungry expression of Evan's face. Though he did hear the small groan that rumbled in his throat. It was familiar and Tommy smirked as he turned his head and opened his eyes. He caught his breath at the sheer want on Evan's face.

“See something you like?” Tommy teased, tilting his head to the side a little. He felt another drop trickle over his neck and watched Evan's eyes follow it.

“Absolutely,” Evan declared, dropping the lists on the counter. Then he crowded Tommy back against the fridge and licked the droplet off his neck. “I think unpacking can wait, don't you?”

“Mmm, a bit,” Tommy murmured, catching Evan's lips in a kiss he deliberately kept light. “First, I have something for you.”

Tommy took Evan's hand and led him to the bedroom. There were boxes scattered here too but none on the bed. Neither of them had wanted to have to unpack anything to go to sleep later. Pushing Evan back towards the bed so he sat, Tommy made a waiting motion with his hands. Then he headed into the bathroom. Under the sink, a sure place he didn't think Evan would look in just yet, waited a square wrapped in pale blue tissue. It was about the size of a hardcover book, though much thinner.

When he brought the present back into the room, the butterflies filled his belly again. While they had decided to wait to have Evan fully move in until after his lease was up, Tommy was thankful for the extra time. It gave him the chance to perfect this gift. He held it out to Evan then sat next to him after he took it.

“For you,” Tommy murmured, nudging Evan's shoulder with his own.

“Tommy, I... I didn't get you anything,” Evan stammered, holding the present and staring wide-eyed at Tommy. “I, uh, didn't even think about it.”

“It's okay, I wasn't expecting one,” Tommy smiled then laughed. “Besides, it's my house. I wasn't the one who moved.”

“Okay, that's a good point,” Evan shook his head. “But thank you. I'm sure I'll love whatever it is.”

“Open it and find out,” Tommy urged, nudging Evan's shoulder again.

Evan nodded and tore into the tissue. Once it was all off, he held the square of canvas and stared at it slack-jawed. It was a painting of a picture Maddie had taken of the two of them. They were standing on the beach near the boardwalk. The sun shone above them, throwing gold highlights over both of them. Tommy was laughing, his head thrown back. Evan was looking at him with an adoring expression, his mouth wide in a pleased smile.

“It's... it's perfect,” Evan whispered, turning to Tommy with glistening eyes. “Did you make this?”

“Yeah,” Tommy said, a touch of pleased pride in his voice. “So, you like it?”

“Yes!” Evan exclaimed, setting the painting on the bed and pulling Tommy into a hug. “I love it, thank you. Where can I put it up?”

“Wherever you like,” Tommy offered, pressing a kiss over Evan's birthmark. “This is our place now.”

“Our home,” Evan whispered, tucking his face against Tommy’s neck. “I love you.”

“I love you, too. Welcome home, baby.”

I could count the amount of original stories of mine that don't have horror elements on one hand and idk what that says about me

As I've drawn Kyoko way more times than I ever would have predicted I would, I've learned that drawing her in the category of "done with everything" is extremely entertaining for me and will never get old. Also, drawing Kyoko with Byakuya has also opened my eyes so much and now I adore these two together, butting heads and just interacting. Like, Kyoko and Byakuya antagonizing each other and being intellectual rivals? Spectacular! It is a crime that it too me this long for my brain to comprehend the beauty of their petty potential. But, anyway, it's really amazing seeing the many ways this can be done. For instance, they can be shown as these strategic foils for one another like a battle between two scholars. It can be a complex showcase of their internal struggles and hypocrisies where the two just look at each other and go "At least I'm not as bad as THEM!". Also gotta love the more comedic side of the dynamic too. It's like their strange little creatures dueling one another via slapping each other's hands or using the other's hand and going "Ha! You're hitting yourself" over and over. Like, pettiness with these two is golden. Let them snark at one another and be overly judgmental! Also, it's just really wholesome seeing art of them getting along (which I so gotta do more of sometimes though the sillies are strong) or AHEM "getting along" in which one or the other is just a wee bit annoyed while the other has that cocky smirk, joyous that they bested the other. It's beautiful when Byakuya's the one getting annoyed though it can be equally entertaining seeing Byakuya all proud of himself while Kyoko looks mere minutes away from grabbing the nearest blunt object and chucking it at him, all done with that deadpan expression with a glint of satisfaction after she glances at his crumpled form on the ground. Always a bonus to see Byakuya being put in his place. In regard of the wholesome side though, I'm just a sucker for fluff and that'll never change. It's intrinsically tied to my funky little blood vessels. Plus, seeing these two having a chill hang out together is just neat. There's gotta be some shenanigans in there too though! Shenanigans are always fun to play around with. And, adding some hurt/comfort into the fluff (maybe even the shenanigans), YES!! Two characters who don't think they have much in common but actually have a TON in common getting on the same page to help the other?! Beautiful. Gorgeous. Good fucking food right there. If only I could write Kyoko... rip (I say when all my fics are unfinished and unpublished ;-;) But, anyway, these two have a lot in common, so, seeing them acknowledge that fact and help each other grow will forever be amazing in my heart. Always been into those dynamics where both characters gain something out of it and grow for the better because of the interactions they share, romantic, platonic, or anything in-between. AND, speaking of romance, hell, as of recently, I don't mind seeing them in a more romantic angle. I will still prefer the platonic side but I don't mind the alternative a lot more than I used to. At the end of the day, as long at their both being little smarmy brats towards one another, it's fine and dandy! Though, tldr; no matter how ya look at them, these two are lowkey comedy gold if ya do it right and are pretty cool together. Also, they need therapy. It's not related to their relationship but like, just in general. They need therapy, dang it!

             I came to realize I’m always alluding to the Kobayashi curse which is essentially their bloodline being tainted by that of yokai. There are three sects, those who perform often have the more conventionally beautiful traits; being blessed by Yuki-Onna’s blood is prized. Those who handle the daily affairs such as the financial aspects, booking the entertainers dinners, parties, gatherings && those who help in the structure of keeping the Okiya to prosper are often Kage-Onna or more familiar even bizarre descendants, they’re not as lethal. The final are the assassin groups that are often if not always inheritors to strong connections, Nure-Onna, Hone-Onna or Jorogumo. Due to the usage of RCT, most women are able to conceal their gruesome features, Sayuri included. In the moonlight, underneath the stars, one can see the outlining of who they really are or in the privacy of their quarters they take off the mask.

           This is a strong indicator why many who have come to romantically adore Sayuri will fall on misfortune, it is naturally written, she tends to pull away because of this or even show great distress. Due to her being a descendant of Hone-Onna she is referred to as a bride of death, though, her lineage is starting to decrease in numbers which to the Kobayashi Clan is bittersweet as they are known to have a stoic elegance to them. Some of her famous Geiko robes include images of skeletons to compliment this particular nature, none of this information is revealed in the Past Arc due to a young Sayuri being terrified of being viewed poorly ; only in the darkness can one see traces of her skeletal hand.
