thinking about how buck thinks that he’s hard to love and thinks the only way to gain someone’s attention is to get was hurt
and how eddie finds loving him and connecting with him as easy as breathing, and hates when he puts himself in danger

The Williams decision is absolutely brutal, yet entirely sensible, but the bigger issue it highlights is that even under cost cap, there's a vast gulf in financial flexibility between the teams at the front of the grid and the teams further back...

Ellie was worried about what happened. She does not know why the place suddenly grew hot. And the lack of knowledge only serves to feed her anxiety with what-ifs.
In her pacing, she stumbles back to the room she painted in. The painting of Marilyn.
She decides to try again this time. Another chance. Maybe this time, they're looking.
She looks up at the camera again, brown eyes trying to spot if they were there. Of course she doesn't see anything. But that doesn't stop her from trying.
"... pAInter, are you there?" She calls out.
- @ellie-expendable-1
There's no reaction for a bit, after a coulple of seconds however, his voice can be heard.
"I am, hello...?"

Footsteps can be heard as someone enters the shop.
The expendable, compared to before, is now covered in blood. There's a gash that spans across her side, from the bottom back to the upper side of her stomach.
Her backpack is left in the vent on purpose.
She's pressing cloth against the wound in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
Still, the crimson trickles forcefully.
"Sorry for.. staining the place," She pants, very clearly in pain.
"You.. You have medkits in stock... right?"
- ( @ellie-expendable-1 )
Tumblr media
"Stains arent an issue. This shop is frequently coated in blood anyway... Here."
He produces a medkit, not worried about the payment for the moment.
"You lot just keep arriving with wounds more and more often, don't you. What got you, Friend?"

the number one most interesting analysis anyone ever made about the legend of korra is that the benders in republic city were clearly an oppressed and exploited population. NOT the non-benders. and therefore the equalists are nothing more than essentially a nazi party or kkk or other hate group that likes to masquerade itself as the victims to a scapegoat minority that is somehow a danger to normal people in order to oppress and eradicate them.
the most compelling evidence that benders actually represent and function as marginalized people is that they occupy characteristic marginalized roles in society. organized crime, factory laborers, pro-sports, music and film entertainment. (ESPECIALLY the more physically taxing high impact sports such as boxing and football!! the fighting ring nature of pro-bending absolutely reflects this. this is no golf tournament). with those roles that offer any hope of upward mobility being limited to only a few and as inherently exploited by producers as it is. or otherwise abject poverty in city slums.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
non benders such as Mr. Sato own large successful corporations. benders do labor for him. benders do cheap manual labor for low pay in the early 20th century steampunk metaphor city and live in slums. while the ruling class non-bender turned out to be a raging bigot funding the equalist "movement"
Tumblr media
so when korra yells at the equalist cunt doing a little infowars rant in the park and tells him to "shut up" and "im not oppressing you!! you're oppressing yourself" and everyone got mad at her for on tumblr being a bigot you were all wrong she was out there tearing down the zionist missing person propoganda posters before i even knew what the IDF stood for she was the fucking legend forever
Tumblr media
AND she said acab !!!

Hello everyone! Mod Pi here! Mod Fox and I have been discussing our plans for our unique spin on a traditional Big Bang, which is that this is to be made into a compilation/anthology zine in the end! So, our question for you is: would you prefer a solely digital zine, pay-what-you-want with all proceeds going to charity, or a physical zine as well, which would be 200+ pages of fanfiction and artwork printed professionally with a wrap cover in full color.
Digital-Only Pros:
- pay-what-you-can!
- accessible to all
- no shipping costs
Digital-Only Cons:
- only provides a PDF file
- less money for charity
Physical Zine Pros:
- hefty, full-color physical illustrated anthology you can hold in your hands!
- would be the first physically printed purely Danger-Days-centric zine project to be published since Tales From the Zones/Letters to the Dead several years ago
- would allow us to collect more money for charity due to the large scale of the project
Physical Zine Cons:
- expensive! a 200+ page printed book would be upwards of $60 apiece before shipping
- shipping costs
We are excited about this project either way, and the anthology will have exclusive content only available in the purchased zine regardless, but we wanted to ultimately leave the decision up to you guys!

controversial opinion but by the end of the show Buck should no longer be a firefighter
from as early as season one we see how much pressure he puts on his position as a firefighter. firefighting is his identity at this point and that’s not a good thing
he thinks that people value him because he helps them, because he has something to offer to them, not because of who he is
it’s why he panics so much with the lawsuit. he thinks that if he isn’t a firefighter then he means nothing. he thinks that without the connection to the 118 they won’t want to spend time with him anymore and they won’t love him anymore because if he’s not a firefighter he doesn’t deserve their love
we all know that Buck has some major self-worth issues and i think that the only proper way to wrap up his character would be to prove to him that he’s wrong
he does deserve love, he is loved and it has nothing to do with what he can provide for others
remember “what does Buck have?”
“he has us.”
yeah, that should be Buck’s endgame.
he’s no longer a firefighter because he realizes he doesn’t have to be one to be loved

Okay. I'm processing.
If RBR cuts him loose like this, it's unnecessarily cruel. It ruins a lot of goodwill a lot of people cling to for that organization.
If there's fairness in the world, these last few races will be the chance to say goodbye. That's what I personally expected all year, because it makes the most sense.
I have a problem with things that don't make sense. I can deal with sad and unfair and all that, but not making sense is what bothers me the most.
The unnecessary cruelty of it all is... too much.

I love how a lot of Ultrakill artists depict the characters like they're European paintings and sculptures. Composition and anatomy honed to perfection from drawing funny little robots, buff yet tragic kings, and of course our favorite gay loser angel who's drawn half-naked more often than not.
It's not really surprising with how thought-provoking Ultrakill is as a whole. With the unstoppable force of nature that is the machines storming Hell, the peaceful yet unsettling atmosphere of Limbo, the unjust fall and the righteous ire of a kind man, the souls of the Ocean Styx who had drowned, and the rage and eventual relief of an angel who was forced to face his own mortality. It's messy. It's tragic. It's beautiful. How can anyone resist the desire to put that in a writing, in song, in art - just like V1 dyeing the halls of Hell in red?

That Whole AI Art debacle has me pumped to actually do some hardcore Mucha inspired TLT art.
If there is a Mucha niche to be filled, it should be filled by actual art nerds that love some flowers and bones. Art nerds that would spend months obsessing over it.
I'm connecting the dots.
