Pairing: Fred Weasley x wife!Reader

Timeline: Set during DH (canon has been altered slightly so that Fred and reader were married before Bill and Fleur)

Summary: A wedding brings out all the extended Weasley family, and their incessant questions about when you would start your family.

Warnings: Established relationship, getting married young, mentions of pregnancy and babies, but neither actually feature in the story. Mentions of sex and a few curse words.

The questions had been incessant ever since you had gotten engaged, never once letting up each and every time you attended some sort of Weasley family event.

You'd been dating Fred Weasley ever since your third year at Hogwarts and over time your relationship had just gotten stronger, knowing right from the start that you were endgame for each other, two souls eternally entwined.  You'd gotten engaged not long after the shop had opened in Diagon Alley, with Fred using the profits of his and George's wildly successful shop to buy you a simple but beautiful ring that he'd proposed with not long after.

You were both incredibly young but with everything happening with the war and the general unrest, time felt precious and neither of you had seen any fit reason to wait to start your futures together.

You'd gotten married in a small little ceremony in the woodland behind the burrow in the autumn, the spot you'd claimed as your own ever since the early days of dating, the spot you would both sneak off to in all weather to claim some time alone. Just your closest friends and family had attended, and you'd spent the evening laughing and dancing with the people you loved.

Bill and Fleur had apparently had very similar feelings and had wanted to marry as soon as possible, which meant Weasley family gatherings left, right and center in preparation for the big day.

It had started when Fleur's family arrived from France to meet the Weasley's and great aunt Muriel had took it upon herself to join in on the family gathering, stating herself to be the head of the family. The questions started from then on, with everyone over the age of 40 seemingly fixated on asking you and Fred the same question. Then, when Bill and Fleur's big day came, you'd been accosted by great aunt Tessie to help her to her seat during the reception and had been trapped there for a while as she went into excruciating detail about her own wedding and basically her entire life story. Truthfully, it wasn't entirely unpleasant with Tessie, not like talking with Muriel, but as you looked around the beautifully decorated marquees and saw Fred and George dancing in the crowd, clapping for the happy couple, you couldn't help but think about how much you'd rather be there with them, dancing with your husband. Fred had found you not long after and had attempted to steal you away to dance but Tessie in a rather spectacular fashion had also managed to get Fred to take a seat and had begun to drone on about her wedding once again with her new audience member.

"So when's the baby coming then?" She's asked with a wicked glint in her eyes, looking between you both.

"Do I look pregnant?" You'd asked in alarm, looking down at your stomach in your bridesmaid dress before flicking your gaze worryingly to Fred who looked just as shell shocked.

"Of course not dear!" Tessie laughed, slapping her hands down on her legs as she leaned back, "but you're married now!"

All words seemed to fall from your mind as you stared back in complete astonishment, not knowing how to respond.

"You know," she says, turning her attention to Fred who still looks frozen in place, "your mother was only 20 when she had William."

Ever since then, it was like the flood gates had opened and suddenly everyone was asking the pair of you about when you were planning on having a child, completely ignoring the fact that a potential war was on the horizon. It was exhausting, deflecting the same question twenty times from both families and towards the end of the night, you could tell that Fred's patience was wearing thin.

"So, have you two thought about trying for a little one?" A deeply unpleasant friend of aunt Muriel's had asked you both as you were making your way out of the marquee for some fresh air.

"Yeah we've just started actually," Fred snaps, making you turn your head quickly to look at him, eyes wide as you hear his words, knowing it would not end well. "Honestly it's exhausting, we've never had so much sex and that's saying something- every single day and sometimes twice a night, it's a miracle she can still walk."

You were horrified and amused in equal measure, not knowing whether to run away to hide your blush or your laughter at Fred's blunt delivery. The old woman looked up at Fred with utter disgust as she barged past him, fleeing from his rude and uncouth behaviour. It took one look between you both before your resolve shattered entirely and you both burst out into infectious laughter, doubling over as you wheezed. Fred dragged you close to him as you laughed and you squealed as he roughly pulled you into his chest, feeling his laughter reverberating through his muscular torso. You slapped his chest to scold him for his outrageous behaviour but he simply chuckled more and pulled you tighter, kissing the top of your head as you both made your way out into the woods, wordlessly falling in step as you sought out your spot.

"You know, I wish it was our wedding we were re-living," Fred says, slipping his hand down from your shoulders and entwining with yours as you walked, your other hand holding up the bottom of the long, satin bridesmaid dress so you could walk the final stretch to your spot without damaging the dress. You looked over at him, seeing the cheekily smile you loved so much and beamed back, nodding your head at the thought.

You approached the little fallen log that signalled the entrance to the little clearing in the woods and Fred suddenly dropped your hand and reached out to grab your waist, hauling you effortlessly over the little stump so that you didn't have to climb over it in your heels. His hands lingered on your waist for a few seconds as you leaned up to kiss him, silently thanking him for the little gesture. He winked at you as you pulled apart before pulling out his wand and casting a charm that created little firefly lights all around the little clearing, just adding a little more light to the moonlit clearing. You smile as you look up at the beautiful little twinkling lights, momentarily mesmerised by the beauty.

"Mrs Weasley," Fred says to your side, making you turn with a wide smile. Your new name and title still made butterflies erupt within you, the same way that Fred calling you his wife did. "Would you do me the honour of dancing with me this evening?" He asks with a smirk, extending his hand to you as he bows formally. His wedding ring glints in the moonlight and it makes your tummy flip once again.

"Why of course kind sir," you said flirtily, placing your hand delicately in his, gasping as he pulls you closer not a moment later, his other hand resting on the curve of your hip, just a little lower than what was deemed appropriate for a waltz as you begin to slow dance in the middle of your spot. "You know, my husband won't like that I'm dancing with such a handsome stranger."

"Husband you say?" He jokes, playing along, "I didn't realise someone had already claimed you, he's a very lucky man."

"I'd say so," you teased, laughing as he suddenly pinches your bum as you joke. "I'm pretty sure I'm the lucky one," you say with complete adoration as he smiles, the hint of a blush appearing on his freckled cheeks. "After all he does fuck me once a day and twice a night."

Your squeal echoes through the woods as he grabs as you, chuckling at your squeal as he spins you recklessly in his arms, both of you perfectly happy with your lives in that moment, without a mini Weasley.

hello my dear readers, not sure if anyone cares but here's some fun author's commentary for the sophia x cowgirl!reader 2 parter

spoilers are below if anyone hasn't read the story yet...

originally, i was planning this to be a dani x reader fic so funnily enough when an anon mentioned farmhand!dani i laughed bc well in an alternate universe it wouldve kinda turn out that way

i got really inspired to write this fic after rewatching ateez' bouncy mv.. i was like what if i did a fic set in that aesthetic

here are some of my thoughts on pt 1 of the sophia fic:

it was ALWAYS going to be endgame with sophia, i decided that halfway through writing pt1. so i'm sorry to those who were excited about actress!manon or whoever else. 😭

i did the poll because i wanted to see how people would react to sophia...like a test to see if a sophia endgame would be a good idea

i had left tidbits about sophia's mysterious life in hollywood for a reason. she originally planned on never returning, if not for thomas wanting a marriage/the blackmail he had on her.

she felt that this was the best way to preserve reader's feelings as well as not hurt her further. but ofc how does hanging out with your ex go...

this ensues the internal battle inside sophia where she realizes she's still very much in love with reader.

then they sleep with each other 🫢 this ensues the kind of baby trapping esque smut. its essentially them both wanting the same thing deep down. but for different reasons.

reader's dreams are going to be shattered: she wanted a big family with sophia above all else. and she gets caught up in her deepest desires when sophia asks her to um you know BLEEP inside.

sophia's also very caught up in her feelings. deep down even though she tried so hard to repress it, she still loves reader, and wants to keep a part of reader with her forever. so she baby traps reader 😭

the smut was intentionally very emotionally charged, i mean this is years of being separated and finally reuniting with sexual intimacy and weeks of tension with being around each other.

here are some of my thoughts on pt2 of the sophia fic:

i knew i wanted it to be dramatic, i'm talking telenovela kinda dramatic, the kind where you keep gasping 🫢 after each scene, it was intentionally tense throughout the whole story

the angst had to keep going before the story got to the fluffier parts of the story ;))

auntie lara who cheered guys!!???!

i figured i would sprinkle in manon into the fic bc people wanted actress!manon vs actress!sophia which would be funny asf to write but i tried to keep the humor to a minimum in this fic

for part 2 i wanted a complete flip of scenery from part 1. in part 2 it's reader going into sophia's world. i wanted it to show how despite the "divorce" and how it hurts them both, they still seek each other out. it's like a parallel of 2 years ago, but they're experiencing each other's worlds. and they still chose each other.

the smut was um unexpected i didn't plan on writing it but someone wrote in jealous!sophia and that had my head spinning on how i could use that...which is how that scene got written ahaha

also, if anyone's curious...this is how i imagined charlie to look like! (a blue heeler)

RTV Tour: The Endgame

(Blood writting, -No drawings sadly- , also a lot of swears-)

Lari started to enter into another crisis, despite trying to maintain control of the situation and calm herself down, which didn’t seem to be working very well. After all, her current concern was enormous, since here was "His head, his rules". She remembers when Mr.Crystal put her in the TV Dimension for the first time as a form of "Time-Out" and she literally broke her way out of his head...But could she do the same with RTV??? He had the power of the five stars, and to make matters even worse, she didn’t have the same strength or power she had back at her place-! WHAT A BULLSH-!

Suddenly, she feels something gently bumping against her shoulder and snaps back to reality, looking at the Razorwhip who was looking right back at her. She gazes her for a moment, and all of a sudden, that irritating intrusive voice starts talking again. "CUTE! MUST- P E T! PEEET THE DRAGON!!!" The eyes of her mask seemed to be in between one of confusion and one of cuteness...Urgh...At this point, she considers it a curse to want to pet anything she finds adorable...Anyway, why Marie was...Oh- heh..."Ya comforting me Marie?" she thought, a slight smile appearing behind her mask as the dragon seemed to do the same.

Then his voice echoed in the place, making her immediately tense up and look up in his direction.

“Why Hello my not-so-dear tour participants...Glad to see you all here! Whether you came through willingly...and some...Who needed a push...to come through."

“Excuse me to interrupt you Mr.Puzzles, what if I told you I had something revolutionary,would you be interested in any chances traveling to unknown universes?”

Out of nowhere a blonde woman floated towards him, did she have a death wish or what?? Not even she would have the courage to have so much nerve-

“Let me present to you my gizmos or stars.”

The woman continued now taking out of her pocket a blue star...Wait- she won't do what she think she's gonna do...right?

 “I promise I’m not here to scam anyone, I do indeed know my ‘name’ may cause some suspicions. But it is just a direct translation of my family name ‘De La Escroquerie'.Actually my family were scammed by those filthy scammers but that's just an unimportant detail. ”

While the woman was making her presentation, the eyes of her mask seemed a little confused and even a bit perplexed by this, the pupils of her mask eyes slowly looking at RTV screen that seemed to be giving more of a warning with that smile that he didn't give two fucks to that.

“As you can see the interdimensional portal has indeed worked. Huh, it looks just like you,what are the odds? Sadly I can’t sell you mine since you know, you  have to be linked to it and I forgot how to create them, but there are the instructions at my base on my computer,and the only possible way to go there at the moment is by my very own VESPA that is parked outside of your STUDIO...Do we have a deal?”

Her mask eyes widened now, how could someone-? THAT WOMAN REALLY WANTED TO MAKE A DEAL??? WITH HIM??? Oh for the love of-

“Cute. But that’s a NO.”

And with that he flicked the woman, sending her flying to the side, Lari just slapped her mask at the scene.

“Oh, and for your INFORMATION: I can already reach other universes just fine MYSELF. Maybe remember that before placing portals in MY studio...”

...She thought everyone here knew that...Looks like she was wrong...

Then he leaned down towards the little squirrel she saw going with the other group to the Health Department, and by the looks of it, she seemed...Worried...Well how could she not be? Everyone here was basically about to tear each other apart if he decided to attack or vice versa. Soon after he started to say something softly...HOLD UP- THIS SMELL LIKE TROUBLE-

Lari narrowed her eyes at the two, and in the next second she saw the squirrel eyes go static...Oh...Oh no...The pupils on her mask got a bit empty again...One more for his collection...Afterwards she saw the same small creature turning around, before taking place on one of the TVs, observing them...That was bad.

“Now, as I said, Nobody here is leaving. Not before we made some things CLEAR. Some of you chose to side with SMG4, complicated everything! And guess what happened. One tour-”

He was interrupted by crying and sniffing sounds, she quickly tried to find the source and saw...A cookie? Well not exactly a walking cookie, but a familiar looking one being held by the ribbon girl...Bruh- she needed to know her name, because that wasn't exactly a good nickname to call someone all the tim-

A huge *CR a cK* of chewing was heard, the pupils of her mask eyes returned to normal again as she stared at the cookie that now had a huge bite on its head, making her hold back a laugh..."Don't laugh please that would be very rude, please don't laugh-" Her mask eyes twitched a little before closing for a moment...Please that Marie don't give her a tail whip to keep her in line because it will definitely hurt-

“YOUR GODBOX-FORSAKEN AI KILLED MY FRIEND, YOU A**HOLE!”

Her eyes snapped open again, her hair fluffing up for a moment at the sudden loud voice-

At that moment she swung at him and punched his face, sending him staggering back.

“WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF, HUH?!”

The girl screamed at him, her anger definitely bubbling out as she looked like she wanted to kill him right there, sad for her that the punch didn't have the same effect as out of the TV dimension, looking at RTV again she saw that unsympathetic grimace of a smile as he suddenly dashed forward, grabbing her by the neck.

“Your friend killed HIMSELF by putting his nose in things that don’t concern him.”

“You bastard-! YOU TAKE THAT BACK- “

Then he proceeded to yeet her at full force back, making her fly into the depths of the tunnel...Damn bro-

"Anyone else?"

Lari slowly looked between him and the now very far away participant, then to the others, and Marie. She kept doing that with a unsure gaze for a while, until her eyes landed on SMG4, the man seemed very...Very pissed.

“Tsk Tsk, Now? As I was SAYING, because of the fault of some of you supporting SMG4, everyone will Pay. And I'll repeat, because of his intrusion, One tour participant less in the group from the original 57... Although...”

She saw him growing into a giant and looked at the...UH- Twins? Doubles?? It was a girl- I MEAN girls- foxes? They seemed to have mechanical parts- other bots in between them maybe?

"Not sure what I missed while I was out, but I suppose that covers the 57th participant. Must've overlooked, but oh well."

He shrugged before mumbling something and looking back at the group...She tensed up again, gosh, she hated that feeling of being so vulnerable, she still had her magic sure, but it probably wouldn't be enough to actually cause serious damage to him..."I guess it's better for me to just stay on the defensive and-"

She got out of her thoughts when she saw RTV quickly shift his gaze, she looked to where he was focusing and saw SMG4 and Animsay...With no TV on her head? Huh- I hope this isn't causing any side effects on her, hmm, why she took it off after all? I wonder-

And suddenly the meme guardian lunged forward with the help of Animsay who gave him an additional push... She almost screamed a loud "NO!" when she saw this, taking a quick step forward as she saw their "grand" plan.

“Tsk.”

RTV raised an arm, blocking the hit with little difficulty, before pushing SMG4 back, sending him flying with a bloody nose, and thankfully for him, Animsay managed to grab him in time by his hoodie to avoid he going to the unknown.

Lari stared at SMG4 for a moment, his bloody nose sparkling something inside of her that she couldn't explain, her hands slowly turned into fists as the pupils of her mask got a sharp appearence, so making a loud huff that seemed to release a bit of smoke from the sides of her mask, she turns towards RTV.

"no one...and when i say...NO ONE...Will hurt this version of SMG4- ON. MY. WATCH!"

She hissed, increasing her voice while summoning her crystals and preparing to fight...The Razorwhip seemed to prepare the spikes of her tail already, making her give a quick glance at her, she still couldn't believe she ended up along side Marie. So giving another smile, she glanced back towards RTV.

“Morons…”

Lari quickly moved a bit away from Marie and took the chance he was occupied with Smiley to aim the crystals towards his chest, but sadly for her, he sized down and even managed to dodge two of the crystals, 3 of them tho- managed to make crystal like holes in his coat.

She felt his gaze locking on her and freezed for a moment before shaking her head and dashing at full speed in his direction, but something catch the attention of the upper eyes of her mask as they looked to the side and saw....T H E L E V I A T H A N ? NO- not the time for that...The upper eyes turned they attetion back to RTV.

He managed to dodge Sci attack, grabbing her by the collar soon after, and then tossing her to the side. Lari made a high jump ignoring the laws of physics as usual and prepared to give him a powerfull kick in his TV head, just to same TV quick switch around to avoid her attack...Sneaky bastard.

When she missed the hit she didn't hesitated to summon more crystals behind her in a attempt to hit his head this time...Is not like this would be enough to kill him anyway, but at least it will keep him away for a while...She stared at him furiously while preparing herself.

“It looks like we are simply MEANT to cross paths...Allow me to get RID of that though.”

He snapped his fingers and the moment she was going to aim the crystals on him...They disintegrated...She looked back and saw they quickly turning into dust and disappearing...oh...OH FUCK-

Her hair fluffed up at the now realization that her magic could no longer be used... She quickly moved away from him and got into a defensive position, only to see the ribbon girl- MAN SHE HAD TO KNOW HER NAME URGENTLY- anyway, it seemed like she wouldn't have to worry about RTV now since the girl took her place and attacked him with her sick tentacles, making him retreat, and now that he was away she could start panicking.

She began to desperately try to summon them, but nothing, she even began to snap her fingers again and again…But the result was the same, she looked at the purple crystal she was carrying in her neck, taking a better look at it…It had a static color…He really blocked her magic, now if she already didn't stand a chance against him before, NOW SHE DEFINITELY DOESN'T!

The pupils of her mask eyes started to get a little frantic, almost not noticing RTV growing again and Marie attacking him, that until she heard "NIRA!" out loud and finally came back to reality again, she needed to stop doing this at times like this-

Another finger snap echoed, she started hearing bone cracking sounds and quickly looked at the TVs, seeing mini versions of the oversized idiot appearing now…"THIS IS BAD, REALLY BAD-" She started desperately using all the eyes of her mask to locate the position of each of them…But she failed to see Nira approaching Sci and touching her face with her little black hands beside her, why she was-

Another second later the fish body went slack, eyes rolling back as she lost consciousness and her previous movement turned into an uncontrolled spin-

"Shit-"

She attempted to dodge but Sci was to close, hitting Lari and sending her floating back. Her mask eyes closed for a moment from the impact just to open again and look at her side and see...

A finger pointing right at her...Her eyes narrowed a bit at the bright electric light as she unconsciously moved a arm towards her chest, to protect it...And then it hit.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

The power of the electricity was so strong that despite her regeneration, several red lines appeared on her arm up to her neck in a matter of milliseconds. The eyes of her mask glowed a bright white, making her roll her eyes behind it as she screamed at a volume that echoed slightly... Her body trembled as she felt she was being burned from the inside out, that is until she felt something holding her from behind, she could barely see what or who it was…

Her body was almost paralyzed, even though now she was in motion. She could barely breathe properly, damn, if he had hit her heart, maybe the damage would have been a thousand times worse... Her ears were making an unbearable ringing inside her head, her breathing was fast as if she were searching for oxygen that wasn’t even there. But then she seemed to catch something reflecting in the corner of her vision, making her stop and focus on what she was seeing...It looked like metal under the sun... Wait a-

Her regeneration started to take effect, allowing her to slightly turn back, noticing she was being held in the mouth of a Razorwhip, who seemed quite worried about the condition of her small ally, her wings gliding in the air while her tail was already ready to attack the now countless clones of the TV head…Sigh- Looks like Marie was officially her live savior at this point… She really didn't want to cause this much trouble to her-

Her breathing began to stabilize as she continued being carried by Marie, who landed a little ahead where it seemed safer despite the numerous clones that had appeared around, then placing her on the ground, already preparing to defend her despite barely knowing her. Lari noticed this and immediately forced herself to stand up, to Marie’s surprise, there was no way she would let Marie face this alone after everything that had happened.

Lari slowly stood up, staggering a bit in the process, the dragon responded with a worried sound as Lari quickly managed to raise a hand up to try and reassure her.

"Calm down- arGh- Everything is alright ok? I'm fine- see?"

She lowered her hand and looked at her arm, slightly null with marks of electricity, which seemed to quickly disappear and return to how it was before, even Lari herself raised her arm and analyzed it for a moment before giving a relieved sigh and looking back at the dragon.

"I'll live don't worry, it takes more than a shock to kill me!"

Lari spoke with a somewhat proud tone despite the near-death situation she had just been through...Marie seemed to look at her from head to toe, not buying that at all... Lari herself was confused by this and decided to take a second look at her own condition and... Now she understood that look...The sleeve of one of her arms, the one she used to defend herself against RTV, was completely wrecked, not to mention a few holes here and there in her vest, aside from the bullet hole in the back of her shoulder. How did she not noticed all of this? Good thing at least she was wearing a shirt underneath this vest, that was quite resistant to damage...Quality stuff really makes all the difference-

She noticed movement of a few clones approaching them, making Marie immediately get alarmed and ready herself for battle...Lari gave a quick glance at her own hand, opening and closing her palm until long black claws appeared...Transformation...Seems like this is the only thing she could use right now to fight...Time to be good for once.

So giving a quick turn towards Marie, she spoke in a loud enough voice for her to hear despite the growls she was giving at the clones.

"MARIE!- Take care of the others! I'll try to create a passage for yall-"

Lari said, preparing to transform and destroy as many of these things as she could, but Marie didn’t like that plan at all, since she lowered her head towards Lari, making the same take a small step back as she watched the dragon let out a loud growl.

"Wha- COME ON! You are literally one of the only people here, that I saw, who have all the capacity to protect the others easily, you already saved my ass in a beat 2 times now! Let me be the tank for you now will ya?"

The dragon responded by giving her a strong smack with her tail on the back of her head, a piece of metal hitting your head definitely hurt.

"OuCH- okay OKAY FINE-!"

Lari grunted as she prepared for battle, shifting her form to something close to RTV’s original height, though still a bit shorter by around 1–2 feet. She grew crossed horns and long deer-like ears, huge claws, and a long snake-like tail with a crystal stinger at the end… She quickly shook her hair a bit, making it stand up before relaxing again. Marie seemed somewhat perplexed by what she had just witnessed.

"So...Are you ready?"

She said while raising both her hands close to her chest, her tail giving a strong slap on the floor as she smiled at Marie...The Razorwhip let out an amused huff while staying in a fighting position...The clones preparing to attack them.

"That the best BEAST WINS!"

Lari slammed her knuckles together forcefully three times for effect, while Marie spread her wings and raised the spikes on her tail, preparing to cut down those damn grinning foes just like she had done with Wr3n’s bots... And then, they prepared their fingers...Time for the dragons to shine.

Both let out a roar and charged to their respective sides, Lari going one way while Marie went another, dodging some of the shots fired at them by the Mini RTVs… Lari sprinted toward them with everything and then leaped forward, landing on all fours, suddenly increasing her speed. She locked onto one target and slammed into his stomach with her head, then stomped firmly on the ground and lifted her head upward with full force while he was still on top of her, leading him to orbit.

GAME!

Refocusing on the other clones, she quickly positioned her mask to take a shot that hit it directly, but instead of damaging her, it energized her mask, making her hair stand on as the tips lifted slightly, just for a moment, she resembled a porcupine. She then took advantage of the electricity in her mask and dashed toward the clone, attempting to transfer the electricity to it and knock him out. However, the clone dodged her charge, only to see her quickly spin and whip it with her tail, striking its side and knocking him down.

He didn’t die, and was already getting back up, and as Lari was preparing to finish him off, she suddenly felt something grabbing her from behind in a chokehold and forcefully stepping on her tail, making her let out a loud yelp. She struggled, placing her hands on the arm that was around her neck, but then she quickly dropped down and repositioned her body, throwing her attacker forward. He tried to grasp onto her side, but ended up falling instead, giving her the perfect opportunity to stomp on its screen, finishing him once and for all.

Only to receive a harsh uppercut straight to her chin, making her stagger backward, lifting her head up as blood dripped from her mouth due to the impact, her tail tried to stabilize her so she wouldn’t fall or be sent flying, and as she turned her head forward, she then received a jab right on her mask, making her be thrown back. "Dammit, those things actually knows how to fight!-" She grunted, trying to take control of the situation, managing to support herself back onto the ground… Then, the clone dashed forward, preparing another punch, just to her caught it with her palm, struggling slightly as she smiled at him. He didn’t hesitate to try hitting her with his other hand, only for her to catch it too with her free hand. Lari arms trembled slightly as she clenched her fists and abruptly yanked the clone toward her, raising her head, then bringing it down with full force, slamming it into the top of its head. The sound of cracking glass echoed as she followed through with a frontal kick, sending it flying backward…Seems like that one wouldn’t be getting up anymore.

She breathed heavily, struggling a bit as she wiped the blood from her mouth, her body quickly regenerating from the blows she had just received. Turning toward Marie to check if she had better luck, she noticed her focused on a group of clones in front and to one side of her. Marie didn’t seem to see one of them trying to sneak up behind her, preparing a shot… Lari eyes widened, and she huffed- "OH NO YOU DON'T!"

Lari began running like a beast toward the clone that was nearly ready to fire, shouting loudly to gets his attention and distract him from his target.

"HERE I COME!"

The clone looked in her direction with a grin, only for that same grin quickly vanish and turn into worry one as it seemed to attempt redirecting the shot toward her, but it was already too late.

(Puts gift cutely, and yes Lari did exactly that :3)

She jumped towards him, mouth open, biting into his TV head, causing both to roll several meters ahead. He missed the shot, and Lari took advantage of that, clenching her teeth into his screen and back head, the easiest part for her to bite, and tightened her grip, shards of glass entered her mouth as she managed to rip his head off… erGH- she spat out some of the glass and ran her tongue over the back of her teeth to check if it was all gone. Then, she quickly turned her attention back to the fight, grabbing the clone carcass with both hands and lifting it up as a shield while electric sounds crackled… His body trembled as if trying to come back to life, bizarre.

Looking behind her, she noticed she was now taking care of Marie back, who had already taken care of the other clones surrounding her before jumpscaring the other one. That made Lari grin with excitement as she shifted her mask eyes back to the clones still firing at the corpse she was using as a shield… Combo time!

With that, she threw the clone body upward and whipped it hard with her tail, sending it flying towards the two clones shooting at her. Lari heard a strong metal sound cutting something off and then saw debris floating through the air. "Oh-" she blinked before quickly dropping to all fours to dodge a tail strike that sent sharp spikes at the trapped clones, effortlessly impaling them.

"OOOoOO nice!"

She turned to Marie, watching her give a powerful wing strike that sliced some of the clones in half. Their bodies floated as pieces of metal scattered through the air, their fingers losing the electrical charge they'd been preparing, Lari took the opportunity of Marie still partially open wing to leap onto it.

"TOSS ME!"

Thanks to Marie powerfull wings and Lari relatively light weight despite her new form, the Razorwhip swiftly lifted her wing upward, launching Lari high into the air. Taking advantage of the space-like gravity, she simply adjusted her stance, preparing to propel herself, just like she did back at the Void when she needed to float to attack or escape.

And with that she began to spin, transforming herself a little into a ball (Sonic style) and going with everything back to the ground, right where the clone was… Marie released another fire blow but ended up missing, making the Mini RTV prepare to shoot her, but the Razorwhip took a quick look up and noticed the black ball quickly approaching and gave a quick dash back, keeping her body sideways to the clone, who didn't seem to understand why and continued charging his attack, only for Lari to uncurl and give him a strong tail slam, breaking him in half.

She landed with a loud THUD her tail positioned like a scorpion’s, eyes locking onto Marie, who scanned the area, it seemed they had got rid of all the clones in that area.

"HAHA! GG! Ya know, this actually IS a bit fun! Ignoring the parts where I get beated up of course...Cough cough."

Lari said in an amused tone, before lowering her voice at the last part and letting out a fake cough, covering her mouth while taking another glance at the destruction they had caused. Until more of them appeared, circling them…

"Are you kidding me...Just HOW MANY CLONES DOES THIS BASTARD HAVE?!?!"

She shouted, raising both hands slightly in frustration, looks like RTV have an automatic farm somewhere here in the TV dimension…That until RTV voice echoed so loudly that even the deafest person would hear it.

"ENOUGH!!! Now, ALL OF YOU! You had all your fun here enough. CONGRATS! You and your abilities, resourcefulness, teamwork and... sneaky...unheard talents...I'm impressed... well, half, Impressed."

She glanced between RTV and his clones for a moment, unwilling to let them catch her and Marie off guard, then she started hissing loudly at them, hearing the metal spikes on Marie’s tail preparing for more strikes.

"H-Hey, leave them all alone...It's me you want!"

Wait, after everything, NOW YOU ARE!- urgh, she wasn't about to let this happen after all that.

"Hm… perhaps a little too late, dear SMG4. The fault of one is the fault of all of them. Besides, THIS kind of behavior is exactly why I'm not letting you go."

Lari eyed the clones again as they closed in, her hissing growing louder, while her hair fluffled up like a snake.

"Again... as for... you two...Do you think that little stunt was to show me up?" 

What did they did? She was to busy fighting with Marie to notice her surroudings- then she heard Marie growling at the clones too, ready to attack-

"Hm... not much of a talker? And even after back at the Film Department? Now... people as high as I, have their secrets, and you two are the first in line to hear it...Well... My secret?"

She curiously stopped hissing to tilt her head a bit in curiosity, her ears tilting a bit, man she really needed to work in that-

"Sometimes... QUIET PEOPLE PISS ME OFF!"

Welp i'm dammed then-

however one of them started growing up, breaking free from his grip.

"W-What. Are. YOU???"

The big one took advantage of his surprise to grab her other version out of his grip and run away…Marie also got this chance to attack the RTVs with her spikes, making Lari go for it and run towards them, grabbing one of the spikes from the ground and piercing into the clone chest, fighting time!

Holding the clone with the spike lodged in its chest, she threw it upwards only for Marie to jump, flapping her wings to make her higher while taking advantage of the lack of gravity, and with a powerful whip strike, Marie sent it crashing into the others, some of them dodged. Lari quickly glanced at Marie’s tail and had a funny idea, jumping and suddenly holding her tail, causing Marie to look at her mid-flight.

"BERSEKER STYLE!"

Marie understood what she meant and spun around while she was still flying, throwing her with full-force towards the clones, one of them widened his eyes as she turned into a ball and detonated him, Marie took the chance and flew quickly downwards, opening her wings and cutting through the middle of the nearby clones, landing right next to her...Unfortunately for both of them, there were still many others.

Suddenly, a loud gunshot echoed, a sound she knew all too well in this case...Then one of a shattering TV, what just happened?

"No... 'REAL MEEEE'!!!!!!!”

Lari turned to witness the larger version of that mechanical fox taking a massive shot to the chest, red blood pouring out, however it was slowly shifting to blue as it floated alongside what appeared to be cards, the mini version of herself approached, crying.

"56 now...,”

“I-It's been nice... meeting you all. T-thanks, for the tour....O-Other... you,... You better return home in my place, yes?," 

Then she seemed to go limp, releasing a umbrella she had been holding…RTV crossed his arms, and then people around started crying, once again in shock.

"'Real'... 'REAL'?! Real... No... Please... What am I going to do?"

Lari just watched the scene with a neutral look, she was never the type to cry over the death of someone she didn't know or had no connection with, and… Death… wasn’t exactly unfamiliar to her...So she just focused on everyone's reactions, glancing at Marie who also seemed in shock.

"This feels wrong… Replacing the original? This… has to be a dream? It has to…”

Hmm…Was she too indifferent for not reacting? She continued observing the crowd, keeping track of the clones and the massive RTV.

“Do you realize... how she was enjoying the tour?”

"Something feels off." Lari muttered only for herself to hear, narrowing her mask eyes at the robotic fox...Why did this all seem so strange? She swore she had heard that tone somewhere before…

"Seeing her memories... So many good things... How....."

She sniffled, crying a bit more...UhH- Somethings tells her that this seemed forced and genuine at the same time...Was she pretending?

“How she learned to grow, how it took her a long time to adjust and make friends, despite being on the spectrum…”

The fox placed a blanket on her now dead self, holding her close..."I- SUPPOSE- i'm a bit soulless." Lari thought, not really getting emotional as she was probably supposed too, maybe because is wasn't to her or anyone she knew? Or because despite the fact that now 2 people died she somehow didn't considered herself in great danger? EVEN AFTER MANAGING TO DEFEND HERSELF IN THE LAST SECOND FROM RTV SHOT???? Maybe that's a reason of her acting like this right now...Maybe shielding that attack boosted a bit of her non existent ego-

"She enjoyed all the departments... getting a compliment for how she looked... how she interacted with the SMG3 Gang... Oh. The last time she saw the latter,... was that they were a lot... happier than before she met them. Did... did  she do something more special?... Like the green drink, the peculiar game, or the anime she was given the honors to pick? Was she …like a second Axol, to them?" 

"What is she talking about-" Lari said in mind, the pupils of her mask getting confused, she glanced at Marie again, noticing her empathetic about this all...Had [Redacted] affected her that deeply?

“She... she...She even cleaned your clothes when you were down..., and not even once, attacked you physically. She never had the intention to, b-because-...S-she was just a visitor, wanting to enjoy it all. Have a good time. And she did... Now she's gone... all that is left is a carbon copy... Knowing her, do you know what she would say... after what happened? Since I'm her...Mr Puzzles, I forgive you."

Lari noticed a subtle movement in RTV, she noticed he balling his fist...She then looked up at his face, he had that calm expression, but he seemed to hold himself back.

“It was her great day... It was a great day…”

It was a great day until i came here to see RTV face, and i'm greatly regretting not being on my bed sleeping right now.

​​“It was indeed a GREAT day…until someone had to mess it up. Shame.”

He spoke, his voice apathetic...Lari started couting the seconds for him to snap "3...2...1-"

“ENOUGH OF THIS SOB STORY!”

Lari blinked each of her eye mask lazily, until they widened up when RTV started to seized up, looming over everyone, hand grabbing TV’s on the side with such force that dents were left behind.

“You think you can BEAT me here? In MY world?!”

"Yes." Lari said boldly as always while raising one hand, Marie looked at her and seemed to cluckle a bit at her sudden declaration.

He now pointed a finger at the dead Rayas.

“THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU!”

"Hopefully not-" Lari voice at this point was like a hater in the back of the crown giving critics or responding like that was a question and not a real estantment...Then he let out a crackle that slowly turned lower and lower until his screen switched to a cold sneer.

“You’re right. Why TALK it out when you can FIGHT it out?”

A small smile now was settled on his face, as he slightly bowed down, hand on his chest.

“Well, it appears you’ve made your decision and I’ve made MINE...56 participants to go...Sorry, but I’m not hiring for a movie sequel. This ends here and NOW.”

Both Lari and Marie got surprised when the clones decided to attack them recklessly...And sadly for Lari, she got a huge hit on the stomach that send her flying backward, crashing into Marie and then into a massive TV that immediately began pulling both of them in with intense force as Lari begins to panic.

"NONONONONONO-"

And just like that, she entered the TV, static filling everything in sight…Her head started aching, forcing her back into her original form, the pupils of her mask vanishing as voices echoed in her mind, a conversation from a long-buried memory.

...

"Where- where am I??"

"Your new home."

"W-why am i-I gLi TcHiN g?? Why does it h U R T!- WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!?!"

...

"...What had to be done."

The memory ended as she landed on what felt like grass, her mask eyes shutting completely while she quickly got up, shaking her head slightly and placing a hand over her mask, trying to process what she had just remembered. "Dammit, why remembering this now?" she thought, before realizing that it was probably triggered by the static that reminded her of the Forgotten Zone.

Lari started piecing the situation together and then realized something- EXTREMELY important: she had hit Marie.

That made her quickly turn toward the dragon, who was partially lying down, lifting herself up slightly and shaking off from the impact. In a flash, Lari rushed toward her, waving her hands in an embarrassed manner.

"I'M SO SORRY!- I DIDN'T MEAN TO HIT YA-"

Marie responded by giving a reassuring sound, but suddenly stopped and stepped forward quickly…Huh? Lari looked up, almost blinded by the brightness, but not completely, thanks to her mask protecting her real eyes, then she realized they were surrounded by…Vikings?

There were other people with them, like the little ghost with wing-shaped earrings and a tail with a blue line from earlier, and pausing to notice this one more closely, she seemed to resemble a dragon, making Lari subtly narrow her real eyes behind her mask at her, almost as if examining her. However, her focus soon shifted to other individuals, like a one-eyed creature, the guy with the hat and pinkish hair, the smiley maniac, and a…What the- Is that a ball of hair?- oh wait- it’s a person-

More people started gathering, including the meme guardian itself...She then noticed the Vikings taking a combat stance, prompting her to quickly reopen her mask eyes to give her better visibility in case of another fight.

“We…come in peace?”

SMG4 tried to reason with the scared and angry Vikings, she gave a little peek at the Razorwhip, who seemed quite wary of her surroundings.

“In peace, you have a dragon with you!”

Stoick the Vast...This one would be hard to convince, she looked where he pointed and was got a bit more alert when it was towards Marie and the little ghost, already preparing to change form if necessary.

“Well…”

While SMG4 searched for words, she heard something unusual and glanced back at Marie, only to see her transforming into another dragon within seconds…A Whispering Death, thin and long body with enormous spikes and a mouth full of rotating mandibles. Seeing one up close was both cool and slightly terrifying…She took a few steps back, watching as Marie swiftly dug a tunnel with impressive speed.

“Quick!”

He yelled to the group before jumping into the hole, sliding rapidly down into the darkness. Lari simply shrugged and leaped in after him, falling into the shadows, her mask pupils glowed in the dim environment as she followed the meme guardian, hearing the distant echoes of digging…A few lights flickered behind her, probably from flashlights, good thing she was used to the dark and could see just fine.

She took a moment to glance at the others again, putting both hands into her vest pockets, some of them seemed uncertain, even a little scared, not that she could blame them. Noticing the grinning one, he looked…Uhh- she wasn’t sure how to describe it, but something about him felt off, despite the massive smile he was giving. Should she thank him for saving her earlier?- hmm…Nah…

...

Maybe? She’d figure that out when she gets home-

Eventually the tunnel led upwards until sunlight could be seen lighting through, showing Marie made the breakthrough. Lari gived some quick steps now climbing back up to the surface, realizing they were now surrounded by the woods…"Wait- where is-"

She glanced back, spotting the Whispering Death hiding from the brightness. "Ah…Almost forgot-" She moved closer to the hole, ready to provide cover if needed…Others began gathering.

“Alright, everyone here? Let’s find a portal and move on to the next channel. If we are lucky, we aren’t too far from 999…”

A deep growl made her instantly alert, looking the source of the sound was…Toothless? "Oh yeah, of course." he started showing off row of teeth.

“Ah great…Hey, we don’t want any trouble. In fact, we will be right out of your scales-”

Lari saw Marie peeking from the tunnel, causing the Night Fury growls to intensify..."Oh fu--" She remembered that in the series, those two were rivals-

In the next second both of them started to grow more agitated with toothless now instantly changing into a attack position, maw opening...Lari braced herself to step in-

“Toothless, wait!”

A boy now came skipping from the side to the night fury’s side, quickly turning his head in the other direction...Lari narrowed her mask eyes, then widened them, Hiccup had entered the scene.

“What are you doing?!”

Then he turned his gaze to them...Now that's a bit awkward.

“You have one too…?”

Marie showed no sign of easing down, nor did the smaller black dragon too.

“Yeah…No worries though, she’s 100% harmless...Listen, we can’t exactly stay here and I don’t think the majority wants us here anyway…You don’t happen to have seen a black and white square?”

I don't think this is gonna work out SMG4-

“Oh! Yeah, me and Toothless saw it some time ago, but didn’t get very close.”

Nevermind-

“What is it exactly?”

Hiccup curiously asked, Lari just slowly started shaking her head like she was saying "buddy you don't wanna know."

“Our way home...Where is it located?”

“I can show you!”

“...or that.”

They watched Hiccup jump in Toothless back that didn't seemed very fond of the idea and began to take flight.

“Hey! We can’t all fly!”

“Oh, right…”

After following Hiccup and Toothless for a while, they spotted the portal located at a cliff along the coast...Taking a look at her back she saw the ground rising, proof of Marie moving through the ground due to the sunlight.

“That’s it...I actually had so many more questions to ask. Like how did you meet your dragon? And who are these other people? You know, the…not human looking ones.”

SMG4 rubbed his neck, giving a glance to Marie.

“You could say we ran into each other and now are sticking together to survive...Alright, let’s go guys!”

Lari nodded and went with the others…Taking a long breath and entering the portal, and once again static, another memory coming… But a different voice this time.

"Does this all is just a game for you?!"

"A good history can't have just rainbows and butterflies in it all right? For it to have T A S T E, It needs a bit suffering and pain."

"YOU ARE [Redacted] PEOPLE!-"

"Oh don't be dramatic- what fun would it have if everything was easy?"

Memory ended as she crossed the portal, giving her head a light tap to return to normal…"This is weird…I don't usually remember these things." Lari noticed the place, the broad dark hallway. The pupils of her mask turned into spirals as she quickly closed her eyes again. Taking a quick look around she searched for the Whispering Death, only to realize that it was nowhere in sight, she took another quick look in all directions and then realized that Marie had returned to normal, she gave a relieved sigh when she saw her…She was probably dizzy.

“Oh hey, you’re alive as well.”

“Where did you end up?”

“How to train your dragon. You?

“Hell.”

PFFFFFFF- DAMN BRO- she almost laughed out loud at that, hopefully it wasn't the literal hell.

“If we are all together again we may as well continue.”

“Right…”

Everyone now continued through the black hallways much similar to that of a generic house...Then at the end of the hallway, a door, opening it revealed a kid's room. And a giant TV placed at the back of the wall, displaying static.

She honestly don't want to have more flashbacks...

But then SMG4 stepped through, soon the others following...She sighed and looked a bit around, giving a long breath in and out and entering.

"What is the meaning of this...?"

"Specify.."

"THIS [Redacted]!!!"

"Ah...This-...Well, I just got...a bit mad."

Another memory with another voice, but what the hell was going on huh? Was RTV playing with her now? No, no...There must be something here that is triggering them, not just the static from the portals...Right?...And speaking of portals, the one behind them disappeared.

“It’s a loop?”

“Only one way to find out.”

They walked to another portal, Lari hearing voices in her head again…But this time they were lower.

"Do you undestand what you're doing here?!"

"Yes i do, giving everyone here a reason to NOT mess with me."

Other voices, but besides them some muffled ones of two people fighting could be heard from one of the doors, Animsay decided to open it only to reveal an empty living room…Although the sounds were still coming out of there.

“Getting major horror flick vibes here…”

“The Conjuring maybe?”

Another portal into the kid's room, and there we go once more.

Everything repeated, but while the voices in her head began to fade, the sounds of the environment grew louder, something she was oddly grateful for. Yet this time, instead of the fighting, there was a door being slammed.

Another portal, and they repeated the same process again. Now, it was clear that a male voice was screaming, though the words were too muffled to understand.

Once more… She caught something from the corner of her eye, but she couldn’t quite make out what it was in the kid’s room.

Again, and this time, a clear image formed of a familiar silhouette of Puzzles leaving the room, walking straight through the crowd before vanishing into the shadows…That made her tense up a little, her mask eyes still shut.

One more time, and now an ominous trail of static liquid led to the room they kept entering again and again…SMG4 pushed open the door, and instead of a giant TV waiting for them…A much smaller one, stuffed into the body of a child.

The same static liquid was dripping from the screen, onto its shoulders and floor...

"So this is how you feel about your past, huh? How…Sad…You really had nothing good in your past, did you? For you to want to erase it and replace it with false memories. Yes… That would actually be wonderful, wouldn’t it? To erase all of yours mistakes." Lari slowly raised a hand, staring at it, while distant screams echoed inside her mind…Then she swiftly shook her head, making them stop.

"Meh, who wouldn’t want that, honestly-" Lari simply shrugged, speaking to herself inside her head. "I mean, I’m already sick of remembering the delicious slice of Red Velvet cake I dropped years ago because I turned around too fast…Aw, my poor cake- F for you." Her mask released a single black tear from one of her bottom eyes, which she dramatically wiped away with a finger.

Something tells you she's making that up...She stares at a wall for a moment.

"Hmmm…Now that I think about it, are we really that different? I mean…We both have our own rules in our respective dimensions. Our own thoughts about basically everything…And even…[Redacted]."

Hahahah…I can already imagine what you’d say if you knew "what I am." You would look at me with that annoying grin of yours and say, “You are nothing more than a HYPOCRITE.”

Lari glanced around…Observing everyone’s reactions. "After all this, will any of us try to stay in touch? I know I need to do something about that one." She turned toward the floating smile guy… Then let out a long sigh, briefly eyeing Marie. "…If she knows what I had done in my dimension… Would she still want to talk to me?" She stared for a while longer before shifting her focus back to the kid. "I doubt it…But i'm still owing her for everytime she saved me." She began counting on her fingers how many times Marie had defended her.

Suddenly, she snapped out of her thoughts, stopping mid-count when she saw the little Puzzles stir and back away…He was alive? In that state? Man, he had to be in so much pain right now.

“Hey, hey, it’s okay…I’m SMG4.”

SMG4 said, kneeling down infront of him and offering a hand, the kid seemed to be very scared of them, but eventually reached forward, giving his hand a small shake, before quickly letting go again...She just stared at this.

“Nice to meet you too, dude...Look, me and my friends are trying to find a way out. Do you happen to know the way to Channel 999?”

The kid gived a quick nod then suddenly walked past them, grabbing the hand of the first person that was standing to the side, the leviathan, so she simply watched him pulling her along...The same fish didn't seemed very sure of that but allowed her to led by the kid who was now walking back into the hallway and opened another door.

It seemed very small at first but the more people entered, the more it seemed to expand...It remembered a bit of her house in her dimension, but it worked waaay differently that this, making her curiously look around...Noticing a saw lying on the floor right in front of another portal...She looked at it for a while...More screams echoing in her head as she forced herself to look away...Entering yet...Another portal.

"Why do you give up so easily?"

"I just can't keep up..."

"Or maybe it's because you prefer to choose the easiest option."

URGH- That was louder this time, a flash of a dark and white figure lurking in the shadows…Shit even here she was chasing her? Hah...That's so her.

But she quickly turned her focus to the now massive RTV, his TV head leaning on his hand as he eyed them with barely hidden contempt…The small squirrel, who she now learned was named "Nira"was standing next to the portal, her eyes flickering with static, a clear sign she was definitely not to be trusted.

“It took you a while, maybe even LONGER than the crew.”

RTV now drawled, his gaze briefly landing on SMG4 before shifting to the little version of himself, who immediately noticed and tried to hide behind Sci. A chuckle escaped RTV, though it seemed more hysterical than usual.

“Ah and OF COURSE you once again couldn’t help to stay away from things that don’t CONCERN you.”

He now straightened, hands placed next to the portal as the colorful maniacal smile now popped up on his screen.

“So…who’s ready for the FINALE?”

Everything turned upside down when people started attacking, Lari instantly shifted into her previous form, scanning for ways to handle the maniac despite her obvious disadvantage…What was here that could be used against him? She couldn't transform into her biggest's forms because she wasn't in her dimension, and to make matters worse, her magic got blocked, making a second option of transforming into something big go straight down into the pit.

She blinks a bit and look at her sides..."Hang on"...Whe began scanning the area quickly despite all the chaos.

"Marie?"

She spoke in a low voice, starting to grow restless as she frantically scanned her surroundings- oh shit shit SHIT-

Out of nowhere, a massive leviathan emerged, charging straight at RTV… She watched the enormous being wield its trident against the grinning idiot…But after a moment of admiration, she snapped back to her mission: finding Marie!

After weaving through some participants, she heard a sound that was oddly familiar… Quickly dropping to all fours and picking up her pace, she rushed behind a rock and caught sight of a gigantic white tail spinning downward before vanishing in a tunnel.

"Was that…THE G O A T?" Lari faintly heard the sound of something being destroyed beneath her, almost like a mini earthquake…It clearly was the dragon she was thinking.

Lari swiftly climbed the rocks just in time to see the big Leviathan being knocked down by RTV, only for an enormous albino dragon resembling a Whispering Death to erupt from the ground and bite into his arm, spinning him around before launching him into a rock formation.

"OH MY GAAAAWD-"

She putted both hands on her head, impressed by the action. If this wasn’t a life-or-death situation, she’d have loved to grab a chair, pop some popcorn, and watch from the sidelines…HOWEVER! She had to do something, anything that could help them. She stared at her own hands for a moment. "Maybe this will work, but it won’t do much."

She altered her form even further, taking on a more draconic appearance while pressing both hands to her mask, which seemed to merge into her body before vanishing. When she looked again, she was slightly taller than before, four white eyes with black pupils, and a nose of a snake, her entire body darkened to pitch black, her hair turning white, along with the three iconic dots below one pair of eyes…She steadied herself on the rock, preparing for a jump...

"Yolo."

With that, she leaped extremely high, she wished she could fly now, but that would probably be more of a hindrance at this moment. Landing on the ground, she bolted across the rocky terrain, closing in on the battling titans ahead…The whole scenario was almost hilarious, there were three massive beings clashing, and suddenly, a lizard decided to join the brawl…She climbed one of the rocks, opened her mouth, and fired a blast at him, striking his screen. He glanced at her momentarily, and she prepared another blast, only for his screen to absorb it…Oh, come on- SERIOUSLY? She jumped back down, sprinting toward them.

At least she was fast, that was a win in all this, wait a- RIGHT! She turned invisible as she darted behind the rocks…Weaving her way through and dodging scattered debris, including white spikes, she managed to reach RTV, leaping onto his leg and swiftly climbing upward, her claws sinking into the fabric as she spiraled her way toward his torso. Upon reaching it, she jumped onto his functional arm, extending her sharp fangs outward and biting into the rigid metal…However, this instantly made her visible again, her body reappearing as she attempted to inflict some damage on him, her tail trying to coil around his arm. She didn’t notice his hand reaching in, and gripping her torso firmly before tearing her off his arm, some small teeth left lodged in it due to the speed… She quickly regenerated them while looking up at him.

"You SOMEHOW are more FOOLISH than the other one."

"HISSSSSSSSS!"

Lari showed her fangs at him as her stinger attempted to pierce his arm, making him glance at her with an expression of sheer disgust.

"Disgusting."

Then he began to squeeze her, bone cracking sounds were heard, causing her to scream and struggle as blood spilled from her mouth. Her head drooped for a moment, fighting to breathe and loosen herself from his grip…Until she slowly lifted her head again, speaking in a sharp, aggressive voice, staring him while blood still dripped from her mouth.

"Go...To hell."

"This isn’t the first time I hear that...Now do me a favor and PERISH!"

And with that his hand moved back just to throw her with everything towards the rocks… She flew for a while, not being able to look back until she heard another huge crack, colliding with a rock as she rolled to the ground…More blood falling from her mouth as her back was broken, shit… She tried to get up, only to tremble and fail miserably, her body struggling to regenerate, she was running out of power to be able to keep do it…

"Was...really that all I was able...to do?" She mumbled while coughing more blood..."Hah...How pathetic...I guess i really shouldn't have tried anything." Her eyes slowly started to close...filling her vision with nothing but the pitch black.

"Choosing the easiest path again?"

Lari opened her eyes again…Only to find a dark silhouette watching her, the countless white eyes with pupils that seemed to pierce through them, staring at her fixedly…She didn't seem to be in the void of the Puzzles dimension now, but in another void.

"I-....I- c-can't do much."

"This is not a excuse."

The creature hissed at her, Lari only looked at it defeated...Making it roll it's numberous eyes and said coldly.

"So this is it huh? What about Marie and SMG4 huh? Are you really willing to let them get hurt, after you was all proud and excited on the earliers fights? Are you willing to let them die because you wasn't strong enough to get up?"

That got a reaction on Lari, making her struggle a bit while slowly beginning to move her arms and legs to get up.

"no-"

"THEN GET UP AND FIGHT! USE ALL THAT POWER YOU STILL HAVE AND DO SOMETHING UNTIL YOU ARE NO LONGER CAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING ELSE!!! AND IF YOU DIE- at least you will die as a fighter."

She gritted her teeth as her regeneration slowly worked to heal her. Gradually, she pushed herself up on all fours, wobbling slightly, her vision shifting from complete darkness back to the void of the TV dimension, her tail struggled to support her as she leaned against the rock beside her…Her breathing was heavy, every inhale requiring force to keep herself standing. Huffing, with caused to smoke come out of her various nostrils at once, she sharpened her gaze back at the silhouette before her, which gave a wide grin.

"Now we are talking! NOW GO THERE AND HELP THE OTHERS!"

"AYE AYE [Redacted]!"

Lari was now fully healed, though she realized she wouldn’t be able to keep doing this for much longer, it was draining too much of her energy. She then started walking toward the battling titans…But before she moved forward, she stopped and looked back. The creature was no longer there. She gave a soft smile and continued, determined to do something to stop the TV maniac…But what could she do? Most of her attacks were useless…UNLESS INSTEAD OF FIGHTING HIM, SHE ACTED AS A DISTRACTION!! THAT COULD WORK!

Lari sprinted forward like a wild creature toward them, but quickly changed her path to dart behind the rocks, turning invisible so he wouldn’t notice her, suddenly she halted when she spotted an oddly small stalagmite yet large enough for her to carry with her tail like a club. Opening her mouth, she fired at its base, breaking it free from the ground and coiling her tail around the thinner part. She then returned running, watching the giants battle as she maneuvered behind them, climbing a high rock formation and preparing for a jump…Reappearing from view.

She was behind RTV, now all she had to do was- JUMP- launching herself high and rolling slightly, still gripping the stalagmite with her tail while spinning to gain more speed, she started to descended rapidly and-

BONK!

She smacked him hard with the stalagmite, making him to turn quickly and see her falling infront of him, she gave a timid wave as he attempted to grab her, only for her to vanish, his grip missing her by an inch.

As soon as she hit the ground, she make way toward another tall formation… Reappearing and deciding to poke the bear with a short stick.

"HA! YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!~"

The weird little black and white lizard grinned with excitement while taunting RTV, who turned toward her, part of his screen glitched.

"Tch- like if I want to waste my time in capturing a vermin."

"Okay, he took the bait- time to annoy him a little." She thought.

"Uhum right...like you definitely didn’t wasted a LOT of that just attempting to capture a certain blue guy, a rat and even a kid- and still FAILED!!! What silly me to think you had any chances in catching me~"

She gived a little flick in her own head with one claw, while her tail started wagging to one side and another teasingly.

"Because obviously you can't do that even in your own dimension...do you really need yours guards for everything? Damn you're pathetic- have you considered training? It may help that lack of skills-"

RTV seemed to tilt his eyes and she almost sure she hitted a nerve, making her give him a long smug smile, however that same smile quickly dropped when RTV started running towards her.

"It was at this moment she knew...She fucked up."

Desperately she whipped around to run and nearly slipped off the rocks, hearing rapid footsteps closing in on her.

"NOW YOU COME HERE PEST!"

She quickly glanced back, realizing not only had he obliterated the rock she was standing on, but he was also showing that terrifying expression and closing the gap at an alarming speed…Making her let out a seagull meme scream before running even faster.

"fuck Fuck FUCK FUCK- I DIDN’T ACTUALLY EXPECTED HIM TO GET THAT MAD!-" She heard a massive stomp, momentarily lifting her off the ground before she barely managed to land again and barely dodged a kick.

Apparently, the more she dodged him, the angrier he gets, because she was almost sure his speed was increasing by the second.

"OK [Redacted] TIME TO LOCK IN, ONE MORE TIME!! PLEASE, THAT I HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY AND POWER TO DISTRACT HIM UNTIL THE OTHERS GET THEMSELVES READY!!" With that, she kept running, catching a glimpse with her back eyes that he was preparing up another strike…Instinctively, she turned invisible to avoid the hit, and he appeared to slow down, looking at his surroundings irritably…Time to play tag.

- She’s going to keep running in a direction away from the others, turning invisible every time he gets too close or prepares a hit.

- She surprisingly can keep up with RTV in terms of speed, but he’ll definitely outpace her eventually, because she’s smaller, meaning she has to dodge more obstacles while he charges straight through them, forcing her to stay invisible to avoid him.

- If someone else takes the lead and attacks him, she may climb or join in for a few strikes, but most will be fire blasts since claws, punches, kicks, bites, and tail strikes won’t deal any damage.

- If she realizes she’s not being much help, she’ll retreat back to SMG4 and the others…Staying on guard to protect them in case of danger.

Okay, so lets see ships alternatives for the crows if they weren't with their canon LI

This wasn't exactly personal taste (you´ll understand when you read it) if it was personal taste and my multiship likeness it would be Nina/Inej, Kaz/Matthias, Wylan/Kuwei and Jesper with a self insert named Lulu. And obviously each partner options are on the case they don't have romantic feelings for their canon partner.

I did this thinking on story alternatives. Spoiler: there´s only one crow x crow pairing and most of them are crack ships. Now let´s star:

Nina, i name her first because this may be dissapointing: I think it should still be Hanne, technically cheating but i can take her old friend Nestor as a dead lover and Hanne as the eventual endgame. The difference being she actually encounters Hanne at the Ice Court then the Nik Duology happens.

Matthias: Saying Kaz is tempting, but i will actually say: Alys. She is is about the crows age after all. My reasoning was that she still has a personality extroverted enought to provide a fun constrast, matches Matthias´s gentlemany manners, i could see her being like "hey, you sound like one of the kidnappers, the one that rubbed my feet" and having a small lived romance., or he may as well even get to live here.

Wylan: Kuwei honestly, i see Wylan being nice to him until they sort of start being annoying to each other, then developing a frienship eventually when they bond over being lonely and the loss of their fathers (metaphorically with Wylan)

The next ones are on cancellable land, just remember this is purely an experiment.

Inej: if you are wondering why i didn't write Nina despite being a very Ninej enthusiast, well the think is that they´d be too perfect, beautiful but if i want the slowburn and something to build a main couple energry, i think Jesper would be a better fit. In canon, Inej was Jesper´s person before Wylan came, as much as he was besties with Bollinger and close to Kaz, she always was his best friend. Jesper also always respected her. Now their individual struggles could give a decent subplot, Jesper not feeling he is good enought to her so he wouldn't bother to pursuing but still supporting her, Inej being the only person who tries to understand him, to me they are better with someone inside the group that with an outsider.

Kaz: So Kaz is the one i decided won't be in a wholesome romantic storyline, that can only happen with Inej. No, i am not saying Imogen, she is fine as an ex, and i think (no joking i mean it) Matthias is not a bad option honestly, like helnik´s hostility without the fluff. But the actual proposal i have is this: Saskia. Or whatever her real name could be. You see, lets say she is another member of the crew, a spy for Rollins, maybe Kaz knows, maybe he doesn't, she may regret whagt happened to Jordie but doesn't know how to confess, maybe she didn't even know what she was doing since she was a child and wants revenge for whatever Kaz did to her, the posibilities are a lot enought to go crazy with the possible dynamic. Would probably not have a happy ending but would make an interesting story.

I would like to hear what alternatives people would give instead. Pure fanfic and au talk here, wheter if i agree or disagree.

Finished Harmony of Dissonance!

-Saw all endings and got 200% map completion

-Story was pretty good, I very much enjoy the game tackles the angle of how the Belmonts are cursed to eternally hunt down Dracula and inevitably their loved ones get dragged into it and they suffer yet still press on.

Again, Maxim's portrayal was handled really well as a sympathetic figure. He wanted to help Juste escape a torturous existence and ended up biting off more than he could chew, not really knowing just how soaked with evil the relics of Dracula are. Part of that was arrogance to prove himself better than Juste, but the two actually feel like proper friendly rivals compared to Hugh and Nathan.

-For a criticism, Lydie was certainly a character that was there. Igavanias have this issue that, due to how they're structured, sometimes characters just aren't developed or consequential. I don't really know what she was there for, other than to provide a second emotional crutch for Juste and Maxim. To the game's credit, Death does have a line where he says "When something is dear to you, its effect upon you becomes immeasurable" which becomes applicable to Juste just as much as it does Maxim, especially if you see all the endings. Technically, you could also argue that this same theme affects Death himself to the same degree given how many times he dies and comes back, all in service of Dracula.

It just doesn't reach Lydie the same way, unfortunately. I don't know how one would improve that (given how Mina in the next game kind of has the same issues iirc, it's clear that it's something to grow out of lol) but as it stands, her presence is pretty weak.

-Presentationwise, again, it definitely has aged in the graphics department EXCEPT the enemy sprites. What a marvel it was that such detailed sprites, especially the bosses, were put on the GBA. They were always a sight to behold.

But I know the reason why they were able to do that is by sacrificing space, and the thing that took the hit was the music. I mentioned it in the first post, but it bears repeating. I don't think it's the compositions that are that bad bad, but it's the lower quality soundfont and the lack of musical variety that hurts the score.

There are, I think, two tracks in the game that use a higher quality soundfont, and those are the title theme and the credits theme. Those two tracks are incredibly high quality, and exceptionally lift up the compositions. Were the rest of the soundtrack like that, I have little doubt that it'd be received much better, if still paling in comparison to other tracks in the series.

-Figured there were two castles lol. It does seem unoriginal, but given that Iga explicitly wanted "Symphony of the Night but again" I can't really knock the game too much.

I will knock the game for its environments not being too distinct between the two castles, with the major differences being color schemes and subtle vibes (Castle B has red skies while Castle A has normal ones). If the game had a worse map system, it'd be a real drag to try and explore since I wouldn't otherwise remember which castle I was in. Thankfully, each Castle has a separate map with different colors, and one combined map of yet another color that does a neat layering trick to best show the player what rooms in which castle have been cleared.

That also made going for 200% completion much easier, though that goes into my next point.

-Warp points kind of came a bit too late to have the most meaningful effect. Of course, given that you have to explore two different castles, you're not warping with the intent to backtrack too much until the endgame, but it does bring a layer of tedium that otherwise wouldn't have existed.

This includes how warping from one point to another within the same castle is locked to the player until you get the appropriate hint card. I'd rather that ability just be unlocked from the start, with the player being told so directly.

This all kind of culminates in my last criticism, which is the grind for 200%, since a lot of things just aren't made clear to you where they are. The crushing boots, the various keys, and even some of the Dracula relics-the latter of which are required for the best ending I think-are all in locations that, to my knowledge aren't explained or hinted at, some even being behind invisible walls. I love exploring in Igavanias, but to me, part of the process and the fun is seeing clearly what you're missing, remembering that and coming back later when you have it and are much stronger. For some of these items, that wasn't the case, since I couldn't visibly see what I was missing or could do in order to get to the rooms. Not good design when I have to look up online where to find certain things I'm missing.

-That said, the overall flow of the game is still incredibly fun. I never once felt like I was just trying to get the game over with, and that's because I actually liked interacting with the systems the game put in place. Juste is strong and moves fast, has a typical RPG inventory of healing items, and has access to magic that isn't just screen nukes to pile on damage, many spells have incredible utitlity, like shields, taking care of grounded or air enemies the best, or cornering enemies to a part of the screen.

It's varied and fun, and promotes experimentation to figure out what suits your playstyle. Me personally, I like blitzing through rooms with shields like the Wind Cross spell, Wind Holy Book spell, or Thunder Holy Book spell; targeting enemies with Ice Dagger, Ice Axe and Ice Holy Water; and separating enemies from me with Thunder Holy Water and Fire Fist.

There's also the typical high damage high MP cost spells, like Grand Cross and Hydro Storm, but also basicaly a fucking Hadoken when using the Wind Fist spell which is cheap on MP and incredibly strong.

There's just a lot of stuff that feels good to use. The only thing that got a bit of snag to it is the high jump, where to use it you have to hold down then press up and jump at the same time, which is like, a fighting game maneuver? But in a platformer, it doesn't feel as good, and a big downgrade from the high jump in Circle of the Moon in terms of controlling it and the ease of motion it gives you.

-Overall, I had a really, really good time with Harmony of Dissonance. There were times where I felt it was pretty easy (the final boss in particular seems like a big overcorrection from Circle of the Moon, to give an example), but that was only about 10% of the time, and the rest of it I feel was curved pretty well.

I definitely forsee myself coming back to this one in the future, especially since there's Maxim mode, so trying a different gameplay style would be on the top of the list.

Speaking of CK couples (same anon from the teen CK couples ask), I do think teen!LaRusso is very cute and fun. I think they would have been the classic teen “slap slap kiss kiss” type of couple. It wouldn’t have lasted outside of high school of course, but I think they could have remained friends after some time passed. Besides, Daniel in Johnny’s red jacket is a pretty adorable image :p

Daniel sleeps with Mike one time and never again because the guy was clearly On Something. Yikes!!

Chozen and Daniel would have been a foreign fling that Daniel had with a violent bad boy in Japan, but Chozen still loves him years later after he’s calmed down and become a troll gentleman. (But it’s too late, and Daniel only sees him as a dear ride-or-die friend.) Sorry Chozen. Perhaps he and Kumiko marry each other to properly fawn over Daniel, the one that got away…sigh.

I genuinely do believe that in another life, Terry and Daniel would be endgame. They’re very suited to each other, and compliment each other well. And that chemistry! Omg!! Besides, Daniel has always enjoyed the finer things in life, has a taste for culture, and enjoys being spoiled and doted on—and lonely Terry needs someone as kind, affectionate, and loving as sweet little Danny boy. And of course the Dom/sub thing would be totally mutual and encouraged.

Daniel and Terry could have certainly made a spectacular couple in every sense of the word, Nonnie, ha! I playfully disagree though about Daniel having a taste for culture. Oh, he does love the finer things in life and I think he is a massive Springsteen fan. But I say this with all the love in my heart, I don't think he's very artsy! He likes to move, and kata and dance aren't that far apart, and I think he'd enjoy a well designed building or garden, but he doesn't strike me as much of a connoisseur when it comes to anything but food, karate or cars. And that is absolutely OK. He's not into academics, he reads up on his interests but doesn't do movies even half as passionately as Johnny let alone Terry. He likes to be comfortable and spoiled, our Daniel. He'd certainly be the more down to earth one in a relationship with Terry. I could see Terry geeking out or going on full time rants about philosophical ideas or politics with Daniel calmly going: "Yes, dear, have some cannoli," and though Terry would to a Devils game, he'd get far too into the strategy with Daniel simply yelling his head off. Terry would try forever to get him into high culture and only succeeding if it was somehow car afjacent, karate adjacent, sport adjacent or food adjacent. I think Daniel would like some Broadway, and Terry would like: "We could go to the Met - " "No!" And Terry enjoys pop culture because I think he was force fed so much high culture, but Daniel only goes to the opera with him if he can catch up on some sleep, and maybe be like: "That's what happened during operas till people got uptight about them." It's one of the things he'll have to accept and Daniel looks beautiful slumped against his shoulder. If Terry wants to enjoy a concerto with Daniel in attendance, there'd better be amazing food.

I think they would both love to travel, and you can combine their interests there. So they're forever jetting off to places.

I have a question for you about “ shipping.” Do you ever accept things in fiction that you wouldn’t in real life? For instance, I love a good will they/ won’t they? in fiction especially in sitcoms. I understand that in real life it’s not healthy for people to drag things out so much, but I’m a sucker for it in stories. The tension is delicious. What matters to me( again, in fiction) is that the feelings are mutual the whole time.

Hey! First of all, I very much appreciate the random question; I like a nice lil question like this every now and then!

And the answer is a big fuck yes lol. Maybe that's wrong according to "anti-shippers", but seeing as I'm a fully grown adult who can understand the difference between real life and what I read/watch/write, I don't really see the problem. A lot of ships I love have done bad things in that regard. Barney/Robin is always one that springs to mind. Do I think they approached everything healthily? No. But I enjoy their dynamic and find them cute and that's all that matters. Diane/Same from Cheers are also up there. Super unhealthy, it was good for them to not end up together, but I love them all the same and they have more sexual tension than, like, any other relationship ever put on TV tbh.

I mean, one of my all time favorite ships is Gob/Tony Wonder. I've devoted literally over a million words on published fanfic alone, let alone drafts and meta and gushing on here. But having sex with each other and then taking a roofie to forget it is highly the start of a healthy relationship, let alone "faking" one's sexuality for an act of revenge. If I had a friend who did that or if *I* did that, I would have to say "dear god, get help."

And in terms of will they/won't they, I don't mind if one person has feelings and other develops them over time or something. Like Amy/Jonah in Superstore, for example, though I know you could make an argument that Amy didn't hate Jonah from the get go like she claims lol.

There are certain things I don't ship because they aren't healthy, but a lot of those often have to do with either the narrative treating it as healthy and amazing, or the chem the actors have isn't there or doesn't appeal to me. Kurt/Bl*ine is a BIG example for me, because, full offense intended, Chris and Darren have ZERO chemistry, and Blaine tried to fucking sexually assault Kurt and KURT had to apologize? I was mostly just annoyed at their relationship at first, then that happened and I turned into a true hater and it just got worse and worse, only to be treated as this super romantic endgame relationship. I'd like to think that if it was any other relationship I'd feel the same way, but who knows?

Tl;dr, yes, some ships are great without being healthy and I enjoy tf out of them! I love good tension and unhealthy dynamics every now and then as a treat.

Oh dear lord now this is QUITE an ask xD 😂😭

I'm just going to narrow it down to the ones that are likeliest to happen pre 2011, because since VK x Pat is endgame and he never cheats, some of the later ones, with younger players most likely won't happen.

So here goes:

VK x Kane: Has a reasonable chance of happening since they met when they were 17-ish. Maybe it was just some experimenting when they were young, or maybe they used to go out together but for whatever reason they called it quits. Despite that they remain best friends naturally.

VK x AB: They meet in the 2011 IPL, so idk if it's before or after Pat and he get married, but if it's before this has a great chance of happening. They really liked each other, there was something more there that both of them wanted to explore, but because of the BCCI interference it has to remain a fling in this verse unfortunately.

VK x Gayle: Again from the 2011 IPL, but I can sooo see this happen as a hot and heavy, no-strings-attached summer fling. They go out to clubs and bars and get drunk and it's all wild and crazy. Both of them want just the one thing from each other, there's no deeper feelings involved there, and when it's time to part ways they do it really amicably.

VK x Morgs: Played together in 2009/10 IPL I think so might have gotten together then.

VK x Steve: Same as the above, although Steve might be a bit too awkward and oblivious for VK, I can still see them be a sweet, short-lived friends to lovers romance

VK x Steyn: Again the same deal, they got close while playing the Ipl in 2008-ish I think.

VK x KP: They played together for 2 years between 2009 and 2010, so they could've had a fling then, especially with KP showing such an obvious interest. VK's counselled to stay away from him because he's playboy, but there's a dark glamour about the alpha that sends VK running right into his arms. VK would've loved to keep him dangling, guessing, wrap him around his little finger so thoroughly there's no escape. It's actually kp who's more into this relationship than VK who just sees it as a bit of summer fun.

VK x Yuvraj: They've been friends for ages, Yuvraj took VK under his wing when he joined the team, hung out with him, inducted him into the big boys club straight away. VK is pleased at this cool, older, womanizing alpha lavishing attention upon him. Much like with KP, Yuvraj's reputation as a heartbreaker draws VK in instead of driving him away, he's convinced of his own ability to tame the notorious alpha. He succeeds too. VK and Yuvraj seem like they'd be perfect for each other, he's strong, caring and attentive and he seems like he's head over heels for VK, but it's actually VK who feels the relationship is going too fast. Yuvraj is very eager to marry him and bond him and stay with him forever, but VK isn't sure he wants to be married and bonded at as young as 20/21.

VK x Rohit: Not sure how close they were pre 2011, since Rohit seems to have gotten a regular place on the team around 2012/13, but it won't be impossible.

Death Island Spoiler-Free Thoughts post!!!

I JUST finished seeing DI last night (In Aotearoa) and oh my GOD???????? It was S O G O O D????????? It ABSOLUTELY lived up to my expectations!!!!!!!! I’m gonna do a spoiler-free thoughts post first and then I’ll post my spoilers post!!!!!! And if anybody wants any clips of the movie I managed to sneak in, please just ask!!

Ok first off,,, holy FUCK that beginning was S O tense. My friend and I were gripping our seats the entire time and it takes place during a pretty important moment in RE history and I think people are gonna LOVE it

And the villains motivations????? His backstory???????? LITERALLY HEARTBREAKING. It’s ACTUALLY GENUIENLY COMPELLING AND INTERESTING. His backstory is all laid out in that beginning scene and dear GOD it’s SO SAD. I’m trying to keep it Spoiler-Free obviously but I will D I E on the hill that him and his “best friend” were actually gay lovers. You CANNOT convince me otherwise

He was also just genuinely pretty frightening of a villain. He has this one repeated ‘motion’ he does throughout the movie that really makes you tense up, and there’s this one scene with a doctor character that had my friend and I on the edge of our seats

Again, his motivations were actually interesting and made sense!!!!!! And him calling out the main gangs respective organisations (BSAA, DSO, Government, Terrasave, etc etc) for being hypocrites was actually a compelling argument!!!!!!!!! It actually made the characters think!!

I’m trying to word this as best as I can without giving any of the plot away, and @highball66 has talked about this in their posts too, but throughout the movie the main gang are called ‘Pawns’ or ‘The Governments Weapons’ repeatedly quite a lot, and it makes me wonder if that’s gonna come up as an important plot point in a future game or something???? It’s very interesting to think about coupled with the implications of their respective organisations being hypocrites

You’ll all be delighted to know there is SO MUCH shipping content in this movie my GOD. S O many good Chreon moments. So many good Valenfield (for both siblings) and Chamberfield moments (in fact, every scene Rebecca’s in, Claire’s in there too :)) Shippers will have a BLAST

Just as expected, Jill and Leon are the PERFECT duo. They’re SUCH GOOD BESTIES, they work off of each other repeatedly SO WELL. They’re constantly giving each other silly goofy one-liners and saying something sarcastic to make the other one laugh, it’s great

Also, I don’t think Leon has a single serious line in this movie HXNSHDNDHXN everytime he’s on screen he’s ALWAYS saying something goofy or silly or making a pun. It’s GREAT

Also, the characters traumas actually get explored in an interesting and compelling way!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY Jills!!!! Which makes sense cuz the movies about her, but they all get their moments to talk about how X event effected them etc etc, unfortunately none of it really gets resolved but I’m assuming they’re saving that for a future game

Jill’s kinda does???? She has a Good-For-Her moment with the villain which is fantastic and her and Chris have a good heart to heart at the end

Also, Chris Redfield fans are gonna be delighted with his character exploration in this movie

LOTS of references to Re2 & 3. In fact a BIG plot point/ motivator of the movie all stems from RE2, so Raccoon City fans are gonna have a blast!!!!!

Also, HEAPS of old characters are either mentioned or do actually show up!!!!! Nobody that I think anyone would be screaming to be excited about, but still!!

Unfortunately, Rebecca does get the exact same treatment as she did in Vendetta, but like, in the opposite direction…… she dissapeares for basically the entire movie and randomly shows up to save the day. I can’t complain though cuz seeing her work together with everyone else was FANTASTIC

This truly did feel like the avengers endgame of the RE movies, but there were also PLENTY of hints and open ends to a sequel

Finally, this truly was JILLS movie. When I was told that Jill was gonna be the main character I wasn’t really convinced, but M A N she truly SLAYS in this film. She IS THE MOMENT. This is HER movie and it shows

Aside from Leon’s random goofy one liners, I think my favourite part of this movie was the villain. I WISH I could just spoil his motivations in this post because for resident evil standards they’re SO INTERESTING and AGAIN, his thoughts on the main gangs respective organisations leave a lot to think about when it comes to future instalments!!!!!

10/10 movie, would 10000000% recommend. Truly lives up to my standards. My only negative is that Rebecca was hardly in it for the middle half but that’s it. SO glad we FINALLY got to see everyone working together (Capcom, PLEASE put your characters together like this again!!!!!!)

Forgot to add this, but Jill is cannonically a Jurassic Park fan. In fact, the entire last half of the movie is just a giant Jurassic Park reference

SO DEAR PEOPLE,

-GG REBOOT SPOILERS AHEAD -

I just saw the finale. And as I initially only watched season 2 for the polyamory relantionship between Aki, Max and Audrey, I will very understandibly post and discuss first about them:

I will adress the scene, oh you know what scene (Thomas is a very underrated actor, that isn’t for debate), and it was heartbreaking to watch through.

" What an absolute...fool", you can feel his pain.

Max realized that Audrey & Aki had no intention of breaking up between them even tho they all agreed that is "all for all or none for none".

And the fact that they (Aki & Audrey) broke the very pact that convinced Max to start a relantionship with them (his first of a kind too), hurt him more than the break-up per se. That must have been very hard on Max, with also him realizing that they don’t love him in the same way he loves them.

I am not saying those two aren’t in love with Max. What I am saying is that :

They didn’t fall hard, at least not like Max did for them.

They don’t seem to know that they have fallen in the first place.

It was dissapointing to see them ultimately break up. I don't intend do deny it. But I do understand the directors's take on this for a various number of reasons:

They are teenagers. They make mistakes, they try hard to learn from them but they also follow their instinct a lot. The instinct to just take it. To just do it. This is the part of their life when they are exploring, finding themselves, starting to risk things. And so on. This whole new unexplored area is scary. And insecurities are always gonna swim their way through.Breaking up, drama, a very large amount of overflowing emotions, failed relantionships (platonic or romantic ones)- these are very common between the ages of 16-20, more so in the GG universe, where we have a little taste of arrogant, entitled, used to get their way or/and selfish teenagers. They are gonna make bad decisions(fully aware). And this js the process of them reaching maturity. All the bad in the means of good ( a saying from my country, it means that we have to pass very bad times to reach the fullfiling ones at the end)

Polyamory was a new thing for all of them. How do u compromise so everyone it’s happy and comfortable? As we could see from this season, it was tricky and a bit difficult. Again, they are teenagers. They don’t know how this works, they are scared and they are trying.

They ALL needed time apart from their other 2 partners. (Something that didn’t happen (A+A) entirely...) To grow and see where they standed outside of their relantionship. You know, having different plotlines for each of them, like the original GG. I think the 3 of them coming together after all of that would have made a much bigger impact than them staying together now.

They were gonna be ENDGAME. As I said before, them coming back together in the end of season 3 after some time apart would have made a big impact, and a much awaited moment. It appears they were actually gonna do that, as I recently found out:

They did add that scene where Audrey stares at a painting simply because it reminds her of Max.

But they didn’t add the dialogue between her and Aaron, nor the context of her staring. Because they knew when they were editing the episodes that they wouldn’t get renewed for another season. They cut a lot of scenes filmed in Italy beacuse of that. The episode was meant to be longer.

They didn’t know that fact when they filmed tho, another proof that originally, those 3 were meant to end up together sooner or later.

In another words, I was right when I said that Audrey looking at the painting was foreshadowing their (Aki's and Audrey's) longing for Max in the future.(in a hypotetical third season)

I am kind of mad (just a little) that they knew this was a farewell, and they still ended, with such a negative note too, the poly relantionship. (A type of relantionship that is almost always portrayed as unreal and non-functional, which, unfair)

But again, I see where they were coming from with this. Safran said himself that it wasn’t their intentions to portray polyamory in a bad way, and that they believe it's real and does work for some people. (See the images attached).

And it would have been splendid if a third season would have been released in the future, so we could see them play this out, (as characters with unique storylines too), how it's gonna be Aki's and Audrey's turn to fall as hard as Max fell for them.

Just when it started feeling like a true familiar show....it gets canceled. Altho I am not a fan of their "keeping Luna and Monet out of the group in meaningful moments".

But maybe they would have changed that.

Oh well.

Rereading this, I can see how this might seem to degrade Haruhi, no matter how unintentionally because supposedly all the Host Club men are attracted to women and Haruhi is a genuine person. It says more about her than anything that she bags so much attention. I understand why people like her, I was just thinking of it from a realism? standpoint. How likely is it that a group of boys fall for the same girl like that, but honestly…

They’re friends for a reason. Please read anyways.

I can not be the only one who thinks it is crazy that every single one of the host club besides Hani and maybe Mori (but he was strongly considered to be the endgame choice at a point) had feelings/fallen in love with Haruhi. I’ve never been in gender imbalanced friend groups, so I don’t know how truthful this is to reality for a lot of people, but I’d think that relates back to the subconscious notion I’ve seen some men use in reference to the opposite sex when the meeting isn’t happenstance/casual or pre-puberty of, “if I find you sexually attractive, I’m willing to be friends with you.” There must be - I hope there is - men who don’t think that way and really just enjoy another person’s company regardless of sex and determines friendship off of that, but that’s what I think when I see the Host Club so willingly accept her as their “secret princess” knowing that most of them fall in love with her. It kind of temporarily taints their friendships, you know?

Tamaki and Haruhi were never friends, no matter how much Tamaki wanted to be along with her father figure (which negatively impacted their romantic development, as referenced later on), they were begrudged acquaintances who slowly over time on both sides come to understand, respect and admire each other based on multiple, deep conversations and observed actions that spoke to their individual cores and that translated into falling in love as there was attraction there. That’s how the author distinguished between him and everyone else as viable love interests. Plus, it was their dynamic that was most intriguing in terms of writing and development as their characters’ growth directly happens because of each other.

The twins became friends with her the moment she stopped keeping to herself and was forced to join their club. They weren’t really friends at first because there was still a prejudice against her and despite her natural charm and admirable traits, they could still rationalize that she’s more than likely just another person not apart of their small world. They soon found her interesting because she was quickly able to tell them apart, as the only person able to do this so quickly. It’s actually revealed later on that Tamaki knew for a while how to as well, but it took him longer because he’s dumb, it also took quite some time for the twins to open up to him, their friendships with him are just very different from their relationship with Haruhi. I definitely understand why they would develop feelings for her as they’re adolescents who are still developing their identities, constantly around an attractive, inspiring girl their age. The thing is however, being as oblivious as she is, Haruhi can’t see them as anyone other than her dear friends because that’s the established relationship she had with them for so long that she grew most comfortable with. There’s also a strong likelihood that since Haruhi’s not “awakened” by the time the twins’ feelings come in full force, she just doesn’t find them significantly attractive…yet. There’s always the future, but I doubt that they’ll pursue her even then in favour of their friendship.

Kyoya is a bit more tricky. He’s the reason why I’m making this post after all. Haruhi believes that if he can’t gain anything from the action, he won’t do it. That is for the most part a true characteristic of Kyoya’s, which is why he finds her so interesting and likeable. She’s able to show the audience that Kyoya does in fact have a heart even without self-interest, but for the most part is self interested as an aspiring businessman. Haruhi doesn’t know his background nor family all too well, so she doesn’t know truly that he’s so resentful because of them. Maybe that would change her perception of him further, maybe that would put him more in her mind as she grew more conscious in wanting to help him, but I truly doubt Kyoya would let her go any further in that pursuit when he’s so successful at playing his father on his own in the succession crisis anyway. Plus, as shown with Hikaru and Kaoru trying to help Hikaru win Haruhi over, and her favouring Kaoru over him, Haruhi doesn’t find Hikaru’s darkness pleasant nor attractive but she does accept it as part of both Hikaru and Kyoya’s personalities. They’re her dear friends. It’s possible that Kyoya had developed some feelings for her - as hinted at in the beach episode - but I highly doubt that it developed into a deep romantic love as suppressing those feelings tend to smother them akin to a flame.

Kyoya is in love with Tamaki. Not that you can’t be in love with multiple people at once, but he’s the one who had the most significant presence in his life, who had the most notable influence over him. Who he called precious. I just…have never seen any indication of romantic feelings for Haruhi and Hani and Mori are great observers but I don’t believe them when it comes to Kyoya. They’re more than likely just ignorant on homosexual subtext lmao

I can't say how long it's been this bad with A/eons bullying and harassing people who ship anything but A/eon [I've been in and out of the fandom over the past few years, but after RE4R, I got hyperfixated on RE so I've engaged more with the fandom lately than I ever have in the past], but coming from fandoms outside of RE (where what ship is endgame doesn't matter), I feel like at least a good 95% of the bully A/eon shippers came from those outside fandoms too where canon endgame ships seem to have more bearing on that media's quality than what the relationships in RE have. For example, Stranger Things is about one of the WORST fucking places for ship wars I've ever seen because the narrative of that show puts a lot more importance on character relationships and whether or not they'll work out than Resident Evil does. People in that fandom are used to fighting for their lives in ship wars over what ship should be the canon endgame for each character because they stress the importance of relationships and community between characters in that show so much. So I feel like it's possible that some of the newer A/eon shippers could've come from fandoms like that where they think they have to fight for their life for the endgame ship, because that vibe just feels so similar between fandoms. A/eon and Cl/eon are the new Twilight love triangle it seems. But regardless, it's no excuse for them at all to bully fans who don't ship A/eon (I've seen them bully some Cl/eons off of Twitter before even and now finding any content for that ship is so scarce over there these days). And I feel like with Death Island coming up, another piece of RE media like Infinite Darkness where Leon and Claire are present in the same location together and Ada is no where in sight and hasn't been since RE6 [aside from the remakes], it feels like they're losing some false hope for A/eon being an endgame ship when Capcom isn't about the romances in RE for the most part in the first place.

This has been going on since 1998 and I'm not joking.

And you know what other huge video game fandom was in vogue in 1998? Final Fantasy VII, which has the nastiest ship war in all of video game fandom history that still goes on to this day. Old Guard Aeon fandom was forged in the fires of ship wars, and they are stuck in their ways and will never, ever change.

You might think it's bad now, but you have absolutely no idea how bad Aeon vs Cleon actually was back in the day. You literally could not engage with the fandom as a Leon fan at all without taking a side. Those were your only two options. And, for someone like me, who didn't really fucking care about either of them, it was so, so exhausting.

There was no Leshley. There was no Chreon. There was no Serrennedy. Those were not options that were available to you. In fact, Resident Evil fandom (and survival horror fandom in general lbr) was actually very homophobic for a very long time until RE5 turned Chris Redfield into a gay icon with two of his alternate costumes (1, 2), and all of the gays finally started flooding in and saving this fandom from itself.

So, pre-RE5, you were either Team Aeon or you were Team Cleon and you kept your fucking mouth shut if you liked anything else, because you would get booted the fuck out of communities on LiveJournal if you mentioned it -- and, back then? That's all there was. You didn't have tumblr AND twitter AND tiktok AND whatever the fuck else. Fandom lived on LiveJournal. Period.

And don't misunderstand me. Back in the day, Cleon fandom was just as batshit crazy as Aeon fandom is today. I feel like Cleon fandom has mostly chilled the fuck out these days because the vast majority of them have accepted by this point that they lost the war, but back in the mid aughts? Oh, dear god, they were insufferable and just as cult-like.

Degeneration poured so much gasoline on the fire that RE4 started, especially when the director of that movie, when asked why Ada wasn't in it, responded with "She cannot be in everything."

And then Darkside Chronicles happened and made it SO MUCH WORSE because Aeon fans were pissed off that Claire was Leon's co-op partner for the RE2 campaign, and then Cleon fans were pissed off because the Leon/Ada kiss happened, and I just.

Seriously thank god for every single person who started playing these games solely because they wanted to take Chris to pound town. They are the real, true heroes of this fandom, and I am so, so, so, so grateful for them.

And, idk, maybe that's a huge part of the reason why Aeon fandom is still feeling so insecure -- because there was a fairly significant amount of time when it was possible that Capcom was going to tip the scales in favor of Cleon. Damnation and RE6 finally squashed that notion, and the ending of Infinite Darkness coup-de-grace'd it, but it was a real thing for many years.

And now with Leon/Ashley now also being a canon ship of sorts... all that shit is probably bubbling right back up to the surface. Because now, Aeon isn't The Only Canon Ship in Resident Evil anymore. Hell, Aeon isn't even the only canon ship for Leon anymore.

And after taking eighteen years of abuse and shaming and knowing just how nasty RE fandom can get, Leon/Ashley fandom better stay the fuck humble. I swear to god. Y'all motherfuckers just keep your fucking heads down and nod politely and say "Thank you, Mr. Capcom, for this wonderful gift." because no one in a million fucking years would have ever thought that we'd be the ones to become Leon's secondary canon ship.

And this next part isn't directed at you specifically, anon, but at all of my followers and especially the ones who've been contributing to the discussion tonight:

DO NOT fight with Aeon fandom, because I DO NOT want to see us become them -- or even become the second coming of Old Guard Cleon Fandom. Block them and let it go. I mean it.

Hey, I’m not sure how to explain this but getting straight to the point, I’m the person who runs the yandere-linked-universe blog and I’m pretty sure you’re pinkittwice.

So, I was just wondering what ideas you might have about the chain being yandere for one person. Like, what would the dynamic be and how they would behave as yanderes, you know that kind of stuff.

I hope it’s not too much to ask but I’m just curious to see what you might think of it since you’re pretty much the only person on the sight that I know of who also writes things involving lu and the reader. I’m not unhappy or dissatisfied in any way but it does get a little lonely being the only person who writes stuff like this. Sorry if this is too weird.

It's really well written and I'm excited to see how the story progresses and where it goes- especially endgame.

And I'm assuming the ask means if they were yandere in the same circumstance than in the story.

That being said, I'm still going to apply the rules I have set for the Links. Like how Sky was never with his Zelda and similarly how Time and Malon never really happened. As for Wind, he will not be platonic unlike in the fic mentioned above- I will explain this in his section I promise.

Also, disclaimer, I'm not good at horror and I've never written for these types of characters before. But if you want headcanons then I'll provide the brainstorm that I've been cooking up of ever since I got this ask. (And it was a while ago I'm sorry for the wait.)

Everybody wants the attention of a single person and there's eight other people as competition.

If the group was tight knit as we like to portray them, it won't last long.

If dear reader was a little caring or naturally falls into a healer/medic position in the group, the group becomes more reckless, less caring about their personal safety- if only to get a momentary caress from the love of their life's fingers as their wounds are tended to.

There's less group unity and alliances between them form.

If the reader isn't a fighter well...

They would take turns guarding their prize and fight to be the one to do it.

Leaving you behind when they go to dungeons is a must.

They won't risk you getting a scratch on your person let alone putting you in a potentially dangerous situation.

They try to keep all their weapons away and out of reach. Less you get any ideas and try to fight with them or worse, get hurt playing with them.

Or try to fight against them. HAHAHAHA!! How crazy would that be?

Like you would stand a chance.

When you're simply traveling with the group, your designated spot is on top of Epona, hands down, no questions asked.

Not only would be easier to keep an eye on you, and make it harder to get away, but Twilight has personally asked Epona (through Wolfie) that if they were ever ambushed, she was to take off with you and get away from the fight no matter the cost. She'll always come back to him anyway- so if you're tied to connected to her than all the more reason for him to be the one to retrieve you when it's all over.

The others don't like how Twilight gets to be the one to greet you first. But Epona is on Twilight's side and everyone knows it.

So they wait their turn.

You're on top of Epona even if you're a fighter as well.

If you can prove your salt and fight with them, they actually don't try to keep you away as much as they can (because now it means that they can spend more time with you!)

It instead becomes a competition to be your partner. Among the younger ones anyway.

The older ones, are less concerned now by you fighting, and more by the younger ones who keep trying to be by your side (even if that's their spot) and try to keep them out of your way.

Every bump and cut you get is treated immediately by who ever reaches you first.

It's once again a race.

The group, as yandere's go, do not know how annoying they're being nor do they plan to stop.

If you told stories of your past conquests, it a mixed bag of awe, adoration and anger for you even being put there to begin with. These thoughts are not voiced however, and they instead stew and simmer and grow into their possessive tendencies.

Because they would protect you, honor you, worship you and you wouldn't have to worry about anything ever again. Not if you were with them, not if you stayed with them, not if you were in their Hyrule.

There's a slight knee jerk reaction when you bring out your items to take it away because it's dangerous. But not only would that piss you off, it would take away what little protection you have on your person and they don't want to take any risks when it comes to your safety.

I wouldn't share too much if I were you.

Now as Individuals they're all different, obviously.

Let's explore that.

Time

He's the most dangerous

I'm starting this off with that

I'm talking the most calculating, scheming and devious of the whole group

He know he's in charge and that the others will listen to him regardless if they actually agree with him or not

Because he's the leader

His grip on the group lessens as time goes by and their unity dissipates

But he's delusional and he doesn't realize it

However, because he's already in this position, he takes it upon himself to take care of you

And others let him

Less work for them to focus on when they can be by your side instead

You never have watch

You're always in the middle of the group

He'd gladly send the boys ahead of you into danger to make sure that they deal with it before you even get there.

The others let him with little thought because it's for you

So they go for it

Time however, is somehow, never the one to go ahead, instead waiting behind (with you) while they go ahead and deal with the issue

He gets away with this 8/10 times

Mostly because he rotates who's he's sacrificing

Dad! Time is not here- not anymore

But he lets them near you because he's only biding his time

You're meant to be

Soulmates, if you will

If a little time with you is all those boys need to stay in line and listen to him then he'll allow it

Because they're only boys

He's a man through and through

They have nothing on him

And you deserve more than a mere boy

He has some other concerns on his mind while the boys fight each other like street dogs

Time has to think about your future together so he daydreams the most out of the group.

He doesn't really have a home and a roof over his head for himself- let alone you and he knows he'd have to change that

He thinks about staying as a permanent employee at Lon Lon Ranch

He can save enough money

Buy a house

Maybe some land

And enough things for you and him to make a comfortable life without any worries

Maybe even start a family?

The dream is a reprieve form the headache that are other boys who won't leave you alone

Pray you don't end up in his Hyrule

EVER

This is just the gateway he'd be waiting for to keep you all to himself

Fighter or not it's dangerous to travel with them

You're in danger

And he won't stand for that.

He doesn't know how exactly he'd do it

But he plans to leave you at Lon Lon Ranch, waiting for him, for when he comes back after the mission

He'd have to find some kind of way to actually keep you there and find you when you inevitably try to leave the Ranch

But he's traveled all over his Hyrule

There's no place you could go that he doesn't know about

As the adult of the group, he'd step over all the others

He's not going to listen to them when they try to stop him

They don't know as much as he does

They haven't experienced as much as he has

He knows that this is the best and only option to ensure that you're safe and well taken care of

He'd doesn't mind leaving you as prisoner to the Gerudo instead either if the others start to really get pushy

It won't be comfortable and it won't be glamorous

But they'll definitely keep you in one place

And he can walk in whenever he wanted thanks to that note from the chief from a time long ago

Pick you up, take you away and you'll be his

He daydreams a lot

And he knows that you'll choose him

You have to

He's the best and only option

He's never felt happier thinking about you and the life you'll both have

He's struggled so much anyway

Maybe you were the blessing the goddesses owed him for all his work in his youth

And surely they aren't so cruel to give you to him and then take you away by some monster attack or some terrible unforeseen fate

He can't have that either

So he'll take the first and best out he's given

But while you're here with him...

He's looking at you like you're magic

Warrior

Warrior is the least dangerous

He knows the feel of being on the receiving side of someone's obsession

He was ignorant for a long time about it

But he wasn't sure how to feel comfortable in his own skin again when he found out about it

He can see how the others are starting to show similar obsessive tendencies and tries to mitigate what he can

He does a lot of damage control

It's what he's trying to do anyway- he's not very successful

Warrior is the one who's challenging their train of thought

Why do they think this is ok? Why don't they ask you for your opinion? Why do they not give some time alone to recharge? Why don't they lay off?

Because it's totally for your benefit- AND THEIRS

Because it's not ok

He doesn't see himself follow the exactly same train of thought

He doesn't see himself doing what they're doing

He's just annoyed that they're the ones doing it

Warrior becomes the very definition of hypocrite.

However- because he's the one acting as your advocate- the others don't consider him as much as a threat and therefore more inclined to listen to him at this point in time than Time himself

It also means that they don't fight him as much when he wants time with you. Mostly because in their eyes, he's not interested

They're wrong

At some point in Warrior's attempt to keep the group together and keep you from going crazy or hating all of them, he begins to gain ulterior motives in his mission

He begins to play the role in an attempt to win you over.

Because- see, he's not like them

He won't violate your space

Go through your stuff

Or keep you from doing what you love

He's the one to say you should join them in fights, that you should stay, that you can hold your own

Since he's the main strategist in the group, he takes into account your skills and always places you at a distance from the fight or from the most obsessive the group.

He knows that their one track mind could kill you or them and there's still the darkness to defeat.

They don't have the luxury to afford this kind of distractions

When the others aren't paying attention to him, he'd pepper you with compliments and flirty lines, playing up his charm and suave attitude

He becomes the perfect gentleman

You'd never know that he's crazy

Just join him and be with him- that's all he wants

He loves you so what more is there to offer you?

He's got the status, the looks and the means to take care of you so you wouldn't have to worry about anything else

He'd be the best husband that Hyrule has ever seen

He'd hate to have the group scare you off with how over the top they've all been.

He knows the group is being annoying with being by your side all the time and how they don't let you be and how there's always someone by your side even when you're at your final straw

Warrior is the one who takes over guarding you when you need to pee or bath and actively argues on your behalf to let you take care of your hygiene.

He's not always successful but it's the thought that counts right?

Hyrule agrees with him most of the time and since Hyrule seems to be the only one who still cares (somewhat) about the mission, they make an agreement

Warrior isn't at all concerned about the others and know that you'd come around to him eventually.

Since he's not like the others

You're his first thought in the morning, his last thought when he rests his head to sleep and there's nothing that he hasn't been doing that wasn't for you

Hyrule

Hyrule is the least possessive

Mostly because of his low confidence.

I've mentioned in a previous post that is unrelated to this, his love language is physical touch- so he's all over you

There always have to be some way that he's holding you- whether its a hand on your shoulder or the small of your back, maybe he's holding your hand or maybe he's just pinched the edge of your tunic

But he's careful to not go beyond what you're comfortable with

He doesn't want to you to pull away from him

Because the others will not hesitate to push and pull him away if you so much as hinted at not wanting him near you

So he plays it cool

Hyrule also gets concerned when there's too many injuries to go around and he needs to heal the group

Because if you hurt then he can't spare anything else to help you

It's one of the few things he thinks that he's useful for- so if he can't do this little thing for you then why does he bother?

There's so many other guys here that could easily sweep you off of your feet and have so much more to offer you

He doesn't have any land

He doesn't have a house

His Hyrule... isn't the most welcoming and he doesn't like the idea of bringing you from one dangerous situation to another

Especially since he's being hunted for sport back home

It doesn't stop him from trying to win your heart obviously and he tries to show you and win you over in whatever little ways he can.

He's the gentlest with you

Whatever hurting you, he'll heal

Whatever scaring you, he'll deal with

Whatever danger comes your way, he'll end it's miserable existence

He- like Time- daydreams a lot but he's trying to live for the moment

He's almost resigned in a way- that you won't pick him

He knows they're on borrowed time, he knows that something dangerous can take you away from them or that he could be the one to be taken away instead

So he's trying to make up for it in the time that you do have together and spend every second by your side that he can

Because the group gets a little more reckless in their attempts to impress you and be dealt with (whether you're healing them and tending to their wounds or just yelling at them)

He heals the group a lot little less

If they're going to be stupid and get hurt- then he's not going to waste his magic when they're only going to do the same thing the next day

Soon, with enough time and patience, Hyrule begins to hoard all the healing potions as well.

It's an attempt to keep them away from you so when they're hurt he can step in and just get them healed up in a minute

But it also works to keep the group from getting too reckless

It's not his intention but he takes it as it is

If they get hurt too much anyway then that just means less competition for him to deal with and a higher chance with you!

Because of his low confidence about you actually ending up with him, he becomes one of the more mission minded of the group, probably right after Warrior

Since they both have their sights on eradicating the darkness instead of focusing on their love lives (for different reasons) this is the first alliance to be formed

Hyrule wants you to be his but he's at a crossroad

He knows Warrior has a lot of charm to win you over and has the means to make sure you live a good life

He knows it's more than he can ever give you

But he's fairly certain he can take Warrior in a fight

One well timed Thunder Strike and Warrior wouldn't stand a chance

Not to mention that they've been fighting side by side now, so he knows what to look for to bring him down

He doesn't think it'll come to that though

Warrior doesn't seem that interested with you anyway so he doesn't worry about him

Which just leaves the problem of winning your heart

He wonders what life would be like he can love like you do

Twilight

Twilight is the most protective

It's his wolf instincts and his caretaker instincts combined.

He's used to being the one to look after everyone else

Being his village's primary babysitter and all

But wolves are family animals and they protect their mates

He's the one to fight to keep you away from the fights, whether you can handle yourself or not

He can Four agree with this and it's the second alliance that forms

You must be protected at all costs and there's many things around that can injure you, or worse

So they both try their hardest to keep you safe and secure

If bubble wrap existed in Hyrule you would have been wrapped in it and then wrapped again for good measure.

He's the first to run up to you and the first to drag over Hyrule or someone with a fairy or a potion to treat you

He's not afraid to start punching anything that dares to threaten you

Forget the sword

He'll just start swinging... or maybe just go full Woflie even if he's not in his form and go for the jugular

He lets you ride on Epona more often than not and refuses to let you work more than you should

He's quick to carry things for you

He tries to impress you by being a handy man and tries to fix whatever he can get his hands on for you

He's not good at it

But he tries

His love language is acts of service so he's trying

You don't really need his help though

But let him get it out

And tell him that he's doing a good job please, for your sake

He talks a lot about his home life with you and he ask a lot of questions about your own

He's comparing notes

Trying to see what way of life you'd be more comfortable with and how he can accommodate to it

He tries to win you over with the simple life and he paints pretty pictures of having a ranch and a farm and letting you have all and any animals you want

Wolfie make an appearance every other day instead of simply whenever it's convenient

If you're a dog lover then it's even better.

Twilight is not afraid of taking advantage of it to give you all the kisses and cuddles he can get away in his other form

The others would have to fight the each other just to get kisses from you but Wolfie gets special privilege's

He gets kisses no problem

He's not above using it to his advantage

Epona is always on Twilight side and while he's in wolf form, he tells her all about you and how much he loves you and all the ways he finds you amazing and spectacular

Because you're riding Epona more often than not, he tells her to watch after you and to keep your safe and to get to a safe area if they ever get ambushed

She doesn't know how human romance works, so she agrees.

Link is her master and her best friend, so she trusts him with her life and you're important to him, clearly, so you're important to her too

He's not going to lose you like he lost Midna

She left him behind with barely a glance behind

You won't leave him at all

He'll make sure of it

The others won't take you away from him either

Four seems to be the one who's most on his side right now and together they can lessen the competition

He'd hate to fight the guy and maybe they can come to an understanding but he knows he's got the brute strength that Four lacks not to mention Wolfie and Epona as well

So maybe he'll listen to reason

His world used to be so grey with no change in either direction

An eternal twilight

You became his light in the gloom

Sky

Sky is the least violent

He actually falls in the middle of both protectiveness and jealousy.

But he's more set on letting each of the boy pick each other off (not unlike Time) and then he'll figure out who's left over to deal with them then.

Sky also isn't one to fight off the other people who you interact with

He's not going to go confront the person or drag you away and definitely not going to start swinging

He still feels uncomfortable if you aren't by his side but he'll make up for it when you're done by sticking to your hip

Sky doesn't want you to feel cramped by only talking to the group

But he does get a little jumpy when you're beyond his line of sight.

That being said- he will let you out of his sight

Not for long periods of time, mind you, but he's not going to be in your shadow the entire time or demand to be glued to your hip

He's arguably the most normal out of the group- the least yandere if you will

Still crazy though

Sky is also one to agree with Warrior and Twilight.

He's not a part of any alliance but between wanting you to be safe and still wanting you to be healthy and clean (he knows how being clean helps out ones moral and he doesn't want you to be depressed when you're with them) he'd let them do the fighting and arguing for him and when they lose a bit, he'll say something and add to their cause

He's trying to be chill and he plays on his harp when you're nearby.

If you come sit next him to listen and chill- he will absolutely be over the moon

He will go through some of your things to make sure you have anything and everything you'd need for their adventure

But he won't take away your weapons or go through your diary (he wouldn't be able to read it anyway)

He does try to ask you in some roundabout way if he has permission to do that.

It'll be long winded and vague and a total play on words, so be careful to what you agree with when he asks something of you

Sky although is the least violent, that's in regards to other humans

Monsters have learned to keep away from him when he's on the battle field and if they haven't learned that...

They will

He's the one that tries to have your relationship mature and grow naturally.

Sky is going to simply be your friend first and show you that he has your best interest at heart

So when you talk to him about your problems and how the others are driving you crazy, he'll give you advice, tell you he's on your side and openly give you outs to avoid the others.

If you want time alone and the others begin looking for you, he'll tell them you went in the other direction and he'll send them on a wild goose chase.

Since he's on your side, he tells you to at least let him know where you're going and for how long so he can distract the others.

He's not concerned about you running away, since the others are going to do the work for him

Four and Twilight and Wolfie can find and hunt you down in a heart beat and you'll be together again

He won't blame you for running away, there's a lot of people who won't leave you alone in the group and it annoys him too

And Hyrule, Wind and Time keep you within the group and close by so he never has to worry about not knowing where you are at all times

Warrior and Wild keep you well fed and well taken care of

And Legend makes sure that you always have a potion on you and has even given some power rings to ensure your safety

So all he has to do is butter you up by being the least persistent of them all and you'll fall for him and you can be together forever and ever and even be the start of Hyrule as everyone knows it

Wouldn't that be nice?

While he may not be the most musically inclined of the group, he's the one to serenade you when he gets the chance

He plays his harp more often than not, trying to get the notes out that he hears in his head when he looks at you

His life was such a simple song before you came along but now... It's a symphony, he wants you to know this

Four

Four is the most controlling

He's the one putting restrictions on you left and right and is the one to never want you to leave his side- let alone his line of sight.

You see, he's got these voices in his head that bounce ideas off of each other.

When one might be, hey that guy is talking to you

The other responds with, he's close to you too

One might say, you're smiling and it's beautiful

Another says, why is it directed at that guy?

Which snowballs to, you're a little too close, a little too nice, is he flirting? Has he touched you? Is he trying to make a move?

And then he's even more possessive and it grows and spirals and next thing he knows, he's next to you again and chewing the poor guy out for no reason when it was a simple conversation about the weather and directions.

And that's in public

Now add in the threat of monsters and traps and many other dangerous that surround the group as a whole

He's paranoids in the extreme

So when Twilight suggests that they tie you to Epona and keep you where he they can always see you, he's the first to agree

In fact he feels as if Twilight is the only one who's actually looking out for your well being

Wind tries to throw fits and get the two of them to back off but he's just a kid, what does he know? He should know better anyway, he knows how dangerous this journey is going to get, so why is Wind trying to actively put you in harms way?

Twilight a least can get Wind to listen to reason and Twilight's better at explaining it than he is so while Four'll yell, Wind is really Twilight's problem.

He doesn't like the idea of fighting is friends but he can see that well... He's the only to notice that they're not as close as they used to be when you first joined.

He thinks that Warrior can feel it but Four is the one who'll say it out loud.

Four is actually the most trigger happy out of all them, he's not afraid to break character and yell at some poor passerby who's too foolish enough to even look in your direction

He's the angry guard dog in public and it's a little hard to reign him most of the time

Twilight agree with him in this but he's also the one to hold him back

The last thing they need is to be kicked out of town

But if while you're there maybe he can get something for you?

He's the kind of person to make something for their beloved but he only knows how to make weapons and tools

Things that he's never going to give to you and actively tries to keep them away from at all costs

Yes, if you have your own weapons he'll also try to take them away

He'd rather see you angry than injured

No, he does not see how being weaponless in a fight will lead to more injuries and no, he not going to listen to those who try to tell him that.

Maybe he can learn how to make jewelry and gift that instead?

A pretty thing like yourself should be adorned in more beauty.

And he can save enough to make it with rubies and diamonds and any gold that he can salvage in Hyrule

He'd give you and make you anything you want

You'd be dripping in jewels if he had it his way

He also knows that the voices try to point out his flaws and all the ways that he's really not that appealing to any potential partners

It doesn't matter that he's merged and they all have the same flaws

But whenever he's next to you and things are calm, the voices are quiet and he feels like him

Wild

Wild is the Most violent

Like Four, he does not care if it's a simple conversation, if someone else is taking up your time and attention then he will want to start swinging.

He's usually held back by Warrior and Time since Twilight typically has to restrain Four

But if you're in danger? Real danger?

He becomes the equivalent of the Fierce Deity, no mask required

The battle field becomes a blood bath by his hand alone

Sure the others will want to to cause some destruction as well and destroy any and all threats to you, but Wild goes the extra mile

Forget Twilight going feral, he has an excuse- but Wild?

He'll go ballistically feral, even going as far to drop his weapons to rip into the threats with his hands and teeth

He has to make sure there's absolutely nothing in between you and him

He's not afraid to throw away his whole good guy reputation and even the reputation of the hero in order make sure he's the last man standing

Wild is now taking notes on how the the group fights and how they defend themselves, defend you and try to figure out the best ways to take them down

If there was ever to be a physical fight within the group, he'll not only be a part of it but most likely also the instigator

Wild has already lost all his friends and family before, he can't afford to lose anyone else

Besides his Hyrule has so much more to offer you than some of the others

Not to mention he has his own house- in a safe village- with low monsters around it- and barely any reason to think that he wouldn't be able to provide for you

He's got the rupees he needs from his monster farming and everything's nearby. Whatever he can't get, he can teleport to and he wouldn't have to leave you alone for long periods of time.

Wild goes out of his way to buy you clothes since the others have taken care of your other needs (much to his chagrin)

But he also makes sure you have the best portions of the meals he makes

He keep tracks how much you ate and when

He always there to give you a snack if you even mention of being peckish

He knows the others won't mind if he dotes in this manner

Not only because it's for you...

He has all the food anyway.

When he sees that you're wearing Legend's old tunic, he instantly hates it

He and Legend are less of an alliance and merely on tolerable terms- not that Legend notices or cares- because of this and Wild knows that your clothes have taken a lot battery

He wants to you be warm and protected

But he also has a lot of extra outfits

So he takes a page out of Legend's book and gives you some as well

He's a little disappointed you don't wear them as often but he knows that most of them are specialized for certain terrain- Legend's is more of a catch all kind of deal so he can understand the need for general uses

He's not happy about it

But he understands

The crazy thing is, you wouldn't want to end up in his Hyrule either

Pray you never do

Like Time, Wild has been all over his Hyrule and has traveled to all the nooks and crannies

He knows that he can hide you away without the others ever knowing what happened to you

Not even Wolfie would be able to track you

Why?

Because (and this is from AoC) he can teleport more than one person at a time, so he can just take you far away and somewhere secluded, somewhere where you wouldn't be able to leave

Hebra region? In the cabin where he learned how to shield surf? Or play the snow bowl game?

Gerudo Wasteland?

Akkala Region? With Robbie? It's hard to get past the guardians and the high level monsters...

Or maybe ditch you in the mountains with Paya in Kakariko Village?

Or maybe leave you on the Great Plateau? You can't get down without a paraglider...

Life with you is the only reason he's still on this journey instead of just taking you and leaving

The darkness is still around and it threatens his future with you

But it looks bright in his head when all is over and he's so happy that he met you

Life is now pink! And he won't take off his rose tinted glasses any time soon!

Legend

Legend is the most possessive

As some people have headcanoned in the past, he has a problem letting things go

He's lost so many people he cares about- he knows that items are a little harder to lose

He's the Collector- the Hoarder

Naturally when he sees something that he wants, he'll stop at nothing to make it his.

However, since he has a problem coming into direct contact with his own feelings, he's projecting

Legend instead tries to keep you at arms length and fails miserably

He doesn't want to fall for someone only to have them be ripped form him again, and again and again,

He cares for the group still even after their disagreements and eventually mistrust

He doesn't want to leave this little family they've made for themselves and has disillusioned himself into thinking that he can save it before it's too late

But in his fairytale ending, you're with him

Legend, though, still knows that their time will end and everyone will eventually go home so by the time everyone begins fighting and jealousy runs amuck, he's trying to hold everyone at arms length

When you don't give him attention, he's prone to get angry and may very well at times act like he hates you

He doesn't like it when you so much as breath in someone else's direction

You're his and his alone, why is anyone else even worth your time and energy?

But he's not going to say this out loud

So he's frustrated with himself and pouts often

So he's stuck in a cycle of self hatred and jealousy and not willing to do something to change it

But when you do give him attention, he's melts into a puddle

He's at your beck and call if so much as say his name

There's very little that he isn't willing to do for you or get for you, anything to make you happy

He's also quick to give you power rings to protect you even if he's against you fighting

Legend is also going to give you an extra tunic if (/when) your clothes take too much damage and they're too far gone for him to fix

It's a power move on his part

Not only does he feel giddy with boyish excitement when he sees you in his old tunic (that definitely has some kind of magical properties to ensure your safety), it's also him marking you as his property

And the others know it

Wild does a similar thing so you can at least have a change of clothes but Legend is quick to tailor them when you're not looking to not fit you and be uncomfortable

He's the one going through your things for sure

He need to know that he's the one who's taking care of you

He needs to know you have everything you need

He needs to know if there's anything that you're lacking so that he can sweep in and provide it for you

He's not really planning on taking out the competition or is planning beyond keeping you by his side for the day

He (like Hyrule) is living for the moment, because he's afraid he's going to blink and you'd be gone and there would be nothing else left for him

But you won't be gone

He's going to make sure of that

He's got tunnel vision for sure

But since he's also trying to not fall for you and get his heart broken, it becomes a game of hot and cold with a whole lot of minefields in between that could set him off for (what looks like) no reason

He hates you- no he doesn't- he wants nothing to do with you- he wants to be your everything- he's not going to write you poetry or braid your hair or fall asleep listening to your heart beat- he would kill for that to be his reality- he hates that you're all he's able to think about now- don't leave him please

He's not crushing

He's not

He is

Wind

Wind is the least protective- Still protective but arguably not to the degree of the others

You see, he knows that the others protect him because he's the youngest

And he's not blind

He can see that they're just as, if not more, protective over you

He can see how you hate it and how much it annoys you

He's not going to make that same move

And as a bonus, since the others are protecting you anyway, why should he put in the work and protect you as well?

There's enough people watching you all the time

With the others taking care of it, he can plan on winning you over

He's going to give you as much freedom as he's able to get away with

It'll put him as your favorite

This immediately puts him at a crossroads with Four who's somehow a hair's breadth away from tying you up and chaining you together by the wrists

They fight against each other the most

He plans on marrying you

It's honestly in the same degree of young children that say they're growing to grow up and marry their dad or their mom

Because obviously you marry the person you love and you stay with them for the rest of your life

And he loves you.

So that's what he plans to do

Win you over is step one

Then he (and you) just need to wait a few years for him to get older

And then he'll marry you

He does not see a problem with this plan

Typically I make the reader the same age as him to avoid the worst of it but in this case, this does not matter

I'd say that if you're older, he'd get more easily attached to giving you the freedom you've been missing

With him by your side obviously

Because you're older- you're an 'adult'- you can take care of yourself

You're so cool in his eyes

The others, naturally, see a problem with this

Not only out of jealously at the very thought of it not being them to marry you but because they know he's young and if you're older, (say closer to Twilight and Warrior's age) then they can see the problem it'll prove to be for you from a moral stand point

The others (mainly Legend and Four) bully tease him when you're not around about how selfish he is to even think about making you wait, when you could easily marry one of them instead, so why would you ever choose him?

He tries not to let it get to him because he does hang out with you more than they get to- so maybe they're really just jealous that his plan is working

Wind has the more innocent approach to this whole ordeal out of the whole group

His obsession isn't healthy, obviously, but he at least the excuse of being young and not knowing how to deal with crushes

Because he's awkward with it, (and he knows it) he's actually pretty quick to shut away the worst of it when he's spending time with you, less you think he's weird and push him away

Not only does he not want that to happen, but he's heard the others come up to you countless times regarding him and his behavior and if you'd like him to leave you alone

Because they will deal with him if you so much as say one word of annoyance

The choice is yours

If you indulge him when he wants your attention then he's more like himself and becomes the most normal out of the whole group

He becomes the him when you first joined

Before the obsession

Wind becomes your safest bet in terms of keeping your sanity intact and it's the groups saving grace to keep up any illusion that they're still normal

Wind is dealing with a highly flammable vial of puppy love concentrate

All in the form of budding teenage yandere hormones

If you had met him any later in his life, the cocktail would have no doubt exploded into the form of the other's behavior and he'd seem like a completely different person instead

He's almost like a lost puppy, always following you around and being in your shadow

It would be cute if he wasn't crazy

Wind adores you though and he wants you to know that

Civil War was trying to be a fallen Paladin story and they really mucked it up

I keep coming back to this question: What was Civil War’s goal?

Introduce Spider-Man, T’Challa and break up the Avengers, yeah, okay. Story-wise?

I think most people agree, that it was not a Captain America movie. It centered Iron Man’s emotions and plot more than Steve’s. It didn’t give much in the way of character development for ANY of Steve’s supporting cast beyond bits and pieces. There was no story or plot progression for Falcon, Sharon, Natasha or even Bucky, really, given that he winds up stuck in a crytotube at the end. It was almost entirely a vehicle for setting up a conflict to destroy the Avengers for Infinity War to happen. (Which... dear god this was a bad place for such a plot. Infinity War would have been the place to have the Avengers dissolve, and then everyone coming back together would have been the plot to Endgame. Why did they skip that? WHY? Infinity War was the better of the two movies but they basically repeated the battle of Wakanda twice and- I’m gonna stop because that’s a different rant)

I think everyone knows what a fallen Paladin/Paragon story is meant to be. A very powerful person, who is motivated by strong ideals of some kind, is pushed by circumstances into doing something that they otherwise would not do. They’re used either as a way to make someone look like a hypocrite, particularly if the character is arrogant and self-righteous: this person is willing to follow an unyielding code or laws until it inconveniences them, and then all bets are off.  If they aren’t, it’s usually a tragedy because we see the rigidity of that moral code creating a black or white mindset that won’t allow that person to compromise for any reason. This is actually makes for some excellent drama and why I love playing paladins- how does a person who is incredibly Lawful in their thinking handle a murky situation? How does a person wanting to do the most good handle a situation of nothing but bad and worse? How can a hopeful person handle a crapsack world? I love seeing Sam and Steve both in these situations, because they aren’t meant to be the type of heroes who always win. Sometimes they lose, and how they deal with that defeat is what makes them compelling to me.

One thing that came up repeatedly in interviews about CIvil War was that this was meant to be a movie where Cap acts selfishly for once. But that the initial conflict, about the Accords, is some ill-defined notion of ‘accountability’. The accords aren’t really relevant once the attack on the UN happens. They don’t move the plot- Zemo does. And Zemo’s whole personality is that he is a normal man who is able to understand Steve and Tony so much that he can anticipate what they’ll do in a given circumstance. He goes after their respective weaknesses to pit them against each other. On top of that, we don’t know exactly what the accords are asking for. Just that they exist, the UN has put them in place, and Thunderbolt Ross, Hulk Bad Guy extraordinaire (and guy who is shown to NOT be trusted with anything) is in charge of it.

There were a lot of elements here that, if teased out, would have made for some damn compelling stories. Zemo vs Tony, for example- that would have made for a MUCH better Iron Man 3 than what we got. The accords, and the details of them being about restricting freedoms of super powered folk and were made blatant that they would not affect people like Tony or Rhodes the same way it would hit Steve or Wanda or Vision? That would have been interesting. Tony and Steve having a personality conflict that made them break up the team? Again, good. Instead it was all shoved in at once.

But if this was going to be a Captain America movie, it should have entirely been about Steve’s fall from grace. And we should have had a moment where Steve realizes this, and decides to fix it or take a third option.

I think you can make the argument that Civil War, on paper, is a story about Tony’s fall from grace.

Tony, trying to atone for Sokovia and Ultron, and going too far, but too caught up in being self-righteous to notice. Tony, unwilling to compromise and realize he’s gone too far when it comes to Steve’s team. Tony, who comes to a realization that he’s fucked up, tries to go fix things, then has a breakdown because he can’t keep to the morals he’s trying to follow, instead giving into revenge. If he’s not a noble demon ala Darth Vader at that point, I don’t know what is. On paper, Tony is the fallen hero-turned-bad guy.

But for some reason they failed to commit to this idea for Tony. Possibly because RDJ didn’t want Tony to fail or to be seen as doing something genuinely bad. (even though... hell yes he did. But the narrative frames him as being unable to help himself, which is kind of the definition of tragedy, but that he would go through with revenge is usually seen as villainy as well. And there was no doubt that he was trying to kill Steve and Bucky in that moment)

See, that’s where we get to the problem.

This was supposed to be Steve’s movie.

Showing Steve act selfishly would have involved Bucky actually killing someone while lucid and Steve helping him afterwards. Bucky being mind-controlled took that moral imperative off him and put it on Hydra and his handlers. We KNOW he had no choice in the matter and no control over his actions. They tried to do this with the whole “Bucky killed Howard and Maria Stark” but since it was under duress, and happened over 20 years ago? It didn’t demonstrate Steve and Bucky being selfish. All it did was show that Tony was not someone who should ever be a leadership position ever, because when stressed he flies off the handle and acts hypocritically when someone hits his buttons. It centered Tony’s reactions, Tony’s POV, and Tony’s feelings, instead of following the person that the movie was supposed to be about.

So yeah. I’m still salty about that. The movie couldn’t even follow Steve’s fall. Instead we got Tony’s. And the movie wasn’t even done well enough to acknowledge it.
