I find it really funny how similar K is to Jailbreak from The Emoji Movie. Spoilers below the cut (for both The Emoji Movie and Misfits and Magic s2)

Jailbreak is a hacker with a chosen name who is secretly a princess.

K is sort of a hacker(close enough) with a chosen name who has magic which turn them into a princess which they don't like and actively avoided.

Also, Jailbreak finds Gene's ability to switch emotions cool even though he doesn't and it puts him in danger and K initially finds Evans magic shit cool even though he hates it.

I am sure it wasn't intentional but it is a fun coincidence.
