we don’t talk nearly enough about how dean had to embrace his darkness in hell (his sadistic/violent tendencies that come from his hunger for control). hell quite literally shaped him into a predator. there are moments where we can see that part of him coming to the surface. his mannerisms and facial expression when he’s torturing alastair are predatory (and it certainly didn’t come out of nowhere! in 2.03 bloodlust he admitted he enjoyed brutally killing a vampire and would’ve killed them all if it wasn’t for sam. those words were from pre hell dean. makes you think). the way he hunts sam down in 4.21 when the levee breaks gives off hunter/prey vibes, especially when you know that sam doesn’t want to be found, he’s scared and weak post the panic room, he’s running away from dean and looking for a hiding place. the fact that post hell dean is much more violent towards his brother, much more control/power-hungry. hell changed him for good and honestly i’m obsessed with this darker, more twisted and fucked up version of him

Writing things without the intention of wanting to publish them truly is the best thing I can do as a writer.

Like, I currently have 2 WIPs I'm actively working on. One for a challenge, one because I had a scene in my head and wanted to see how the story could develop. It's obvious I want to upload the challenge fic, but I haven't made that decision for the second fic yet. If I like the end product, I'll probably upload it, if not, then, well, it will forever stay in my documents.
