Writing things without the intention of wanting to publish them truly is the best thing I can do as a writer.
Like, I currently have 2 WIPs I'm actively working on. One for a challenge, one because I had a scene in my head and wanted to see how the story could develop. It's obvious I want to upload the challenge fic, but I haven't made that decision for the second fic yet. If I like the end product, I'll probably upload it, if not, then, well, it will forever stay in my documents.
And guess which wip has ~770 words, and which wip has ~2240 words.
