the scoundrel was apprenticed to @superoffbatter 's silverer for dangerous training! who then proceeded to climb into their spire, call them a stooge upon discovering they weren't home that day, and immediately beeline for apprenticing their roommate instead. this was all during in-game interactions and dms so don't worry you didn't miss any chapters of the scoundrel's Magical Marvellous Neathly Adventures™©. this is just the first time ive brought it up

The Vault Dweller crosses her arms, a wide smile across her face, as her eyes take in the small city. Now, of course, she had learned plenty about the sport that was baseball back in her vault. It was included lightly in the history books- but she had never seen a “Diamond” before.

“This place is really neat, and smart. Oh! I didn’t introduce myself, Lucy MacLean, nice to meet you!!”

A right hand is extended, a bright smile on the girl’s face. It was always nice to be welcomed somewhere, and it was always nice to be treated well in the Wasteland. A rarity. But appreciated.

In 2014, at the height of OFF hype, I begun an ask blog for Zacharie @possiblyinsanemerchant. Three years later, I was possessed by the spirit of the Batter and started this blog as well. OFF hype has died out since then, but I occasionally revisit, mostly through Zacharie (contact me there! I'm not always able to check DMs here).

But the death of OFF's fanbase means that in effect, the Batter has become as unmoored as Zacharie. What this means for the Puppet and Puppeteer is that the mission (and writing) has become a bit...free-flow.

I've no idea how to use pinned posts - last I used tumblr was 2019 and that was brief; my style of writing has evolved quite a bit as well, so there might be some disconnect. It certainly has become more pedantic and sarcastic, blame higher academia for that. [1]
