callum vs tristan face-off: bitch on bitch violence, brutal but sam levinson directs it, depeche mode plays in the background, tristan is doing parkour, callum is drunk, there's an extended scene where they're just pointing at each other's faces, libby chained to a wall says "you're not even hitting each other you're just slut-dropping", nico has his phone out but he's not calling 911 he's just streaming it on twitch

Btw was I the only one who got mixed up in the images by how the look in the first book? Like, Libby, Parisa, and Reina was fairly obvious but then it came over to the boys and I fr thought Nico was Callum, Callum was Tristan, and Tristan was Nico like fr

I haven't finished the book yet though so don't judge me too hard lol

Okay, so this isn’t really related to the larger parts of the season, but-

Can I just say I absolutely love how they introduced Callum’s dad?

Like, there are so many theories about him, that he was an elf, that he was a warrior who died, that he just up and left them, but in actuality? He was a poet. He was a poet with a sickness from birth and he died from that when Callum was young. He was kind and Sarai loved him. Harrow even respected him and I genuinely love that.

It also makes more sense that it would’ve been harder for Callum to connect with Harrow in the face of that. His dad wasn’t some warrior who died before he knew him, he wasn’t some elf that he never knew, or some deadbeat who left his mom. He was a kind heart poet who was born with a sickness that couldn’t be cured.

That’s extraordinarily tragic, but I love it.

Blinking back tears, she turned her gaze to Zuko. He hadn’t moved an inch. “Did you plan this?” She asked with awe. His jaw dropped agape, and his mouth widened when he whispered in the same tone as her. “Katara…Look.”

It's a surprise, really—one that she'll remember for the rest of their lives.

I'm just popping in here to say how I absolutely love Reina/Callum friendship it literally has me in tears and this is how i see them hahahha (the one pointing at them would probably be Nico since he's a little dense but we love him)
