Raisa inspired me to go above and beyond what I initially wanted to draw for Corrupted Bond.

A little backstory, I returned to the JSAB fandom not too long ago and saw that the fandom was still alive and busy, has a lot of skilled artists, writers, VAs, and fans doin' their thing. I've gotten the opportunity to meet such wonderful creators and fans here, and I hope many more! All of this made me want to draw fanart for MOST AUs I've encountered...(I'm still doin' that self-inflicted, personal challenge/safari hunt, however long that may take, pfft).

I was initially gonna draw an unrelated still, doin' my rounds, but that was until I saw that @raisa-drawz ( @jsab-corruptedbond ) posted about the anniversary. A DANCE challenge? I never animated dancing before, so this was a first! Although parts aren't perfect, this was all about having fun, experimenting, and watching ya friend's make some cool art stuff!

QUICK NO ONE'S LOOKING

Anyone else up thinking about Ratio's big, strong, secure arms and how warm and all-consuming they could be in a hug or embrace. :/ Anyway

I just wanted to draw them being cute and seizing a sliver of a moment where they could have some PDA silly time without actually having any eyes on them. They're public figures and working adults with very clear boundaries between public persona and private life (to varying degrees of "in a sad way"), so while it may be in Aventurine's nature to constantly blur lines for various agendas and self-preservation (read: play "the flirt" without an aligned goal), I believe that in an actual relationship they'd be fairly private.

It's kind of fun to break your own rules, though! Ratio would be more upset about the consequences, though. He's a little bit of a hypocrite, which is devastating for someone of such discipline, but nobody's perfect.

I'm of the mentality of, "If you're tired of working on it, then just post it!", so here are some fun peripherals that I didn't feel like adding:

Some staff in the background sweeping up to evoke a blended sense of fragile privacy and liminal time.

A laptop on the aquarium/bar/counter because there's something fascinating about seeing people on their work laptops in public.

Time seemed to stand still for Blixer.

The tank was plowing straight into him. He could feel his chest crumpling inwards, the air being brutally forced from his lungs, the explosion of the cannon deafening him. The heat of the burning gases singed his ear, the shell whistling just past the left side of his head, towards it's target.

Behind him, Cube, corrupted, raging, leaped toward him. He could hear her, still screaming in agony, the buzzsaws her hands had now become whirling angrily. The shell was going to hit her.

She was about to die, and he couldn't do anything.

Ahead of him, the drone, it's rotors seeming to turn in slow motion, sped away, still clutching that blazing pink artifact, the source of all this.

So distracted was he by the 67-ton armored vehicle ramming into him, that he didn't notice the bright lights, getting closer and closer at blinding speed.
