I know a lot of people have been saying that tech literacy is falling bc a lot of younger people aren't properly taught how to use computers anymore and they only interact with their devices through applications. and like that made sense to me given how much tech education had already been cut when I was in school, but I didn't have much contact with younger genZers to have noticed the change myself. but god now that I'm on reddit (mistake) there are so many of these people in homebrew/console hacking communities. like it boggles my mind that an intersection of people exists that 1) are tech savvy enough to be interested in console hacking 2) completely fall to pieces whenever something requires doing something on a PC and not the console itself. like it's frustrating for the people trying to help them AND for them, I'd imagine. they don't have the tools they need

Get Ready for Kalafina on Anisong Premium Radio
DOWNLOAD the FULL EPISODE HERE (MP3 ~50MB) Added it to my "Kalafina Media Appearances" folder. What a blessing to finally be able to update that folder again!!
Wahhhhh, we got another group shot of the girls promoting their upcoming radio appearance (Source & Source & Source & Source & Source & Source & Source) and this time, it's so freaking cute!! I can't handle this!!! Absolutely adorable💙🖤🤍🥹
It’s been 6 years since Kalafina appeared on radio together🥳 Before their comeback performance next year, a 2 hour special will be aired on radio✨ You can listen LIVE on the “NHKラジオ らじる★らじる”WEBSITE HERE. However, you will need VPN to access since it is region-blocked. There’s also an “NHKラジオ らじる★らじる” app which you can download but again, VPN is required!📱 📻Screen-recording is not possible on the app so I will have to figure out a way to record the stream on the webbrowser. Hopefully it will work. Usually you can download archived radio programs on the site Radiko,jp (VPN required) but this particular program only seems to be available for premium users
Date/Time: 12/31 (Tue) 14:00~ 16:00 Radio Channel: NHK-FM MCs: Oishi Masayoshi, Asada Haruna Link: https://www.nhk.jp/p/rs/X7W4K87Q2K/
Will try to post some live updates during the broadcast but it depends on the stability of my stream/VPN〈(•ˇ‿ˇ•)-→
We are starting strong with ♪heavenly blue♪ BGM!!
Hearing them together just introducing themselves is special *sobs* Wakana says she was a bit nervous when they first started rehearsing because it had been so long but then it was like riding a bike, everything came back immediately when they were in the midst of it. Keiko was once again reminded of the difficulty of singing Kalafina songs, it was bot a refreshing as well as an exhausting feeling. Hikaru felt happy to hear this unique music resound again that can only be created with their three voices.
One big change everyone commented on was Hikaru's hair XD
The girls were as moved by their first pictures together as their fans. Seeing themselves together was a precious feeling and reminded them that Kalafina was still a thing.
1st Memorable Song of Kalafina's Historia is ♪oblivious♪ chosen by Wakana and Hikaru. Wakana chose it because of its special place in their discography (being their debut song and all). Hikaru chose it because it was the first song she listened to back then when she wasn't a member yet and considered applying at the audition. Her initial reaction was that her voice was completely unsuitable for this sort of music :P Nonetheless, she gave the audition a try and the rest is history.
Keiko brought some old music sheets with her. She still keeps them all from back them and always brings them to rehearsals.
2nd Memorable Song of their Historia is ♪seventh heaven♪ chosen by Keiko because of the way it beautifully connects all of their voices for the very first time.
Impromptu acappella session before they air the song. Naturally they decided to do ♪storia♪ which has always been their go-to song for this sort of stuff. They are accompanied by the host's acoustic guitar. People will complain about Wakana's voice or whatever but I don't care, shut up! This is not the time and place! It was perfect😭
3rd Memorable Song of their Historia is ♪Lacrimosa♪ chosen by Wakana and Keiko. It was a turning point for them since back then, it was decided that they would actually get to continue as a proper group and not be disbanded after Kara no Kyokai. Also, according to Keiko, the 8/6 time signature makes it very special. The host adds some technical trivia about time signatures and such and praises the complexity of the song.
4th Memorable Song is ♪Ongaku♪ chosen by Hikaru and Keiko. For Keiko it's such a great song because of Wakana's cool solo moment (Super!Wakana😂) where she gathers all of her strength and courage to stand in the center to belt out those high notes while being cheered on by Keiko and Hikaru. And then it's nice to see how proud Wakana is of herself when she did a good job. Hikaru picked it because it's a live staple and basically their "engine". It raises the tension and gives them power. Parts of the lyrics are also the inspiration for their infamous "maiyaiya" which they always do before every live.
Tumblr media
Their 5th song is ♪Magia♪ (also picked by Keiko and Hikaru). The hosts are very excited about it. The impact of the song is so strong that they had no choice but to choose it. It makes you really feel like you are going crazy just like Mami from Puella Magi Madoka Magica (マミられてる). The host says it's such a traumatic experience to listen to it. The jarring difference between the cute visuals of the anime and the dark vibe of the ending is mind-blowing.
6th song is ♪to the beginning♪ chosen by Wakana because of the memorable MV shoot. They had a very unusual catering with lots of fried food. The katsudon Wakana ate back then remains one of the best she's ever had. She typically doesn't even eat a lot of fried food but that was an exception. So incidentally, the MV is probably the only time fans will have ever seen the way Wakana looks after she's eaten something like this (fantastic if you ask me :P). Keiko adds that this is also their most popular song when they perform overseas. Nothing gets their overseas audiences as hyped as this song.
7th song is ♪ring your bell♪ chosen by all of them. It was very challenging for Wakana due to the speed and high notes (lots of talk about her f# and the shark necklace she designed as merch). Waaaahhh, another impromptu acappella session. I think they really nailed that part of "ring your bell" and I'm usually not even a huge fan of the song. Wakana did so well on her high note but then immediately deflated (poor girl) while Keiko and Hikaru continued for a bit. LOL.
8th (and last) song of their Historia was chosen by the host Oishi. He picked ♪Alleluia♪ because it left such a huge impression as the final song of their 10th Anniversary Live. Wakana loves it because of its link to their origin Kara no Kyokai and the moving lyrics. it also showcases many new facets of Kalafina.
Afer finishing the Historia corner, it's time for Special Anisong Corner" where everyone introduces their favourite anisong. Oishi appears to be a really big Kalafina fan and says that the anisong world wouldn't be the same without them. He says they are a true treasure for this genre.[YES, THEY ARE!!!!!]
Wakana picks "Mononoke Hime". It was one of the songs she would always perform together with her mother (on piano) when she was a kid. Coming as a surprise to no one, Keiko picks "Anpanman's March" from Anpanman. She's always been such a huge fan of the anime. Hikaru picks "Card Captor Sakura"'s "Platina" because she has always been a huge fan of Clamp (especially "Magic Knight Rayearth" with the main character also being named Hikaru).
Last corner is Oishi introducing a recent anisong that he wants everyone to listen to. He picks the OP "Lilac" by Mrs. GREEN APPLE for the anime titled "Boukyaku Battery".
And that's a wrap. Fitting BGM with ♪into the world♪ Wakana is happy, excited and feels super grateful about the upcoming Kalafina live. Keiko feels so happy to get to meet the other two on a regular basis for preparations and rehearsals. It's a blessing to see all those meetings in her schedule and it immediately cheers her up. Hikaru is also grateful to be able to finally sing all those songs together with the other two and have unique "conversations" with the audience that couldn't be possible if it were just herself.
Not a single mention of Yuki Kajiura during these entire two hours, lots of people are commenting on that. I'll leave that info here without really adding anything to it. It's par for the course I guess, I don't blame them for it...

Have you heard about NicoNico (and the stuff that belongs to it like Seiga) being closed off now for everyone outside of Japan? Think that a VPN is needed now. But as not everyone's going to have access to that (most VPNs are a paid subscription from what I've seen) it's going to be difficult for the non-Japanese MMD community to get access to motions and stuff since everything that was on NicoNico (passwords in the description/video/behind like button, preview of what the (camera) motion looks like) is locked now. For example we can't like the video for the password now because non-VPN users can't view it.
Hello! I had heard about some of these changes, though I was unsure when they would be taking effect and hadn't noticed a change in my own viewing experience yet.
Some of what you've said was incorrect, so I'm going to lay out an explanation as I understand it.
Certain videos / Channels will be hidden from those determined to be viewing from overseas, as well as certain genres and thumbnails. You will not be able to view the site from your phone browser at all, and must download the app in order to use nico douga on a mobile device. (While this is not said directly, there is some emphasis on specifically videos with "sensitive content", leading me to believe they will be the majority of the videos effected. IF this is the case, then most mmd videos linked on this blog should still be accessible.)
Nico Seiga IS completely inaccessible without the use of a VPN for overseas users.
Videos unavailable on Nico Douga for overseas users will also be unavailable on NicoNico Channel and the Vocal Collection App.
However. Overseas users CAN still like and view most videos. Logged out users have never been able to like videos, so if you're having problems liking the videos to get the passwords, you either need to log into your nico douga account or make an account (which you can still make as an overseas user). For proof, I'm not currently using my VPN and I was able to access the most recently posted video and like it.
There are also VPNs available that are free, they just aren't going to be as fast as the paid services. If you're only using them for Nico, I don't think that should be a huge problem.
I do want to say that even if, at some point, Nico Douga became inaccessible to all overseas viewers without a VPN, i would not under any circumstance begin linking directly to download links or exposing passwords. I'm not trying to imply that you were suggesting this, I just want to get ahead of that in case someone does ask for it. The point of this site was to catalogue and search for motions easier, not to give out content I don't own or break rules from people who were kind enough to give out their hard work.

Honestly, I would say we are about the same. I think it is the third time this type of situation has happened to me, so either I'm kind of dumb or just an easy target people like that can spot. I was new, and they were the only person regularly talking to me, so I put up with ignoring the fact that they were trying to explain that I was 'clearly' autistic (there is no proof of that for me despite the family history), and therefore they would take care of me, and thus it was 'only fair' I should hand over control of my blog and projects to them, as well as all the trash talk about everyone else. I was kind of just desperate to talk to someone, and I am a brick wall at understanding things not said outright on a good day, so I kind of missed a lot of red flags.
Except I didn't really understand what they wanted me to do at all, even beforehand, so they resorted to threats, which I really didn't respond to in the way they wanted either because how am I supposed to respond to that other than shut down and play nice and polite for a while? They did not like this...
Which almost exactly what happened the other times, so you would think I would learn lmao. I usually just wind up running away from the fandom, but I don't think I'm going to do it this time.
If it helps, you would be the only person they never shit-talked (figured out very quickly to ignore that), but I am fairly certain that is because they thought they still had a chance with you.
I didn't feel hurt at all, it is more of a 'whoops I think that came out wrong again' so I just felt the need to explain a bit more on what I meant. I was more concerned about if I had hurt you. Although I think Tumblr might be one of the more accepting places when it comes to people misunderstanding each other like that, it can be easier to work it out. People aren't getting as mad on here about asking for clarification.
I figure switching around an entire AU, creating a few new OCs, and then writing a few stories is tiring, and one should maybe rest for a little bit after doing something like that. Otherwise you can burn out and not want to go back.
But it is good to take a break and look at other fandoms. I've seen a few good AUs and short fanfictions (I'll have to find the cheetah anxiety one again some time, it was really cute!) for Wild Kratts before, so sometimes I hang around the edge and see what certain people are up to. The way they draw animals in the show has some really pretty designs, especially the otters and the way they sit in the water (saying the red panda is adorable is cheating, I think, but I just kind of like how it is animated from what I have seen). I think you can still play the old games on Flashpoint or one of those sites, although I haven't fully jumped into the series.
It is possible the Xiaohongshu app is not fully available in your region, although it may be because your phone has not updated recently. I don't think the VPN fix will help since there is a chance of the app sensing the VPN and restricting certain content. It might depend on what type of phone you have, on if you are using iphone or Android.
I'm assuming you don't want to go the route of giving it your cell phone number? There are ways to download or buy an internet google phone number, such as Google Voice, so I have heard. Apparently you get the messages through a separate number on your gmail (or a separate gmail account not connected to your original) instead of using your cell phone number, so that could be a method to try if you don't want it connected to your phone or don't want to download WeChat.
Personally, there are some really good Douyin (the more video focused version of Xiaohongshu) creators on Tumblr, such as the ones Rongzhi collects, but Xiaohongshu sounds like it could fun as well since it has other types of media!
They had nothing on me. I was never too close to them to share anything going on in my life except for one time. Which they didn't even help me in the end and still tried to use that against me -_-. So, they couldn't say much on me. What could they say? Honestly, they could have spread nasty rumors on me and no one would have been the wiser. I had no contact with other members of the fandom at that time (or even now. I only really comment on one person's post but that's it). Their words could have been believed, though they also had kinda screwed up their own reputatin too. I guess they did think I would go back. However, I quickly opened up the situation on my end. So, perhaps it would be hard to go against my words since it was the truth.
And look, I don't think you are dumb. People can get manipulated easily and it is hard to get out of that nasty cycle. It's not easy to escape such things. I think there was one thing that may seperate us on this:
My older sister. Now, the ex-friend and their friend knows my sister. They know that she is not an easy target since they don't have direct contact to her and plus she is not someone who can be fooled easily. The first time I had issues with the ex-friend, my sister stepped in and told them to basically fuck off and to leave me alone or else. She even revealed she is studying something where you have to be able to see through people's lies and manipulation. Which adds on to her not being someone they can win against.
I still laugh on how the friend of the ex-friend's had to switch tactics. They switched twice. First time because I was stubborn with a certain question and the second because of me bringing up my sister. They even admitted that they knew how things would end if my sister got involved. They knew my sister would just tell them to go away and for me to cut contact, the ending they did not want.
So, that is something that may make our situations different. And my sister has no idea that her stepping in the first time saved my ass the second time.
Onto the rest of the message:
Ah, I see. I also worry on hurting people. And while for a bit the comment did hurt, I got the clarification needed so I am a-okay! And don't worry about getting sentences wrong. It happens to the best of us.
Currently, I am a break from all fandoms to be honest. Need to recharge my creativeness. Currently, I am working on two characters of my own. But, I don't plan to get too attached in case I back out. I was working on other characters, but it became too complicated and I forgot what I was doing. Plus, I lost something from it.
I want to eventually get back to the SaH fandom since some people might be wondering where I am. Though, I know some may be aware that I am active still with this account. At this rate, idk if anyone in that fandom thinks I'm dead or something. I haven't posted since November and only said Happy New Years on that blog. Actually now that I think of it: you mentioned that "some of us" in your first anon ask... so I guess to y'all I am alive and not dead.
Did you know? I had a whole ass AU of the Wild Kratts when I was in the 3rd grade? I don't remember what it was about since it has been about 13 years since I was in the 3rd grade. But I know it was with the House of Anubis (a show I love! And I am referring to the one Nickolodean made the one set in the UK with the American protagonist). I also enjoy that series, but I am not interested in animals like I used to be. I actually am not too fond on animals now.
And about Xiaohongshu...
I use an iPhone. I just updated my phone and the app is working. Lmao, I always forget to update my phone. I am all good on that front now! But my phone took forever to update. But it did and everything works. Now, I am just going to look around. I do like the art style that I see people draw on it. But I also kinda want to avoid copying it too. So, let's see what happens.

How to Safely Stream Movies with Tamil DBox?
Tumblr media
TamilDbox is a great website where you can grab Tamil films and TV shows and watch them online.  Tamil DBox is one of those not-so-legit movie platforms with a massive collection of Tamil movies. It also has a mix of dubbed web series and films in various languages. What sets Tamil DBox apart from the usual torrent sites is its knack for delivering movies and shows in glorious HD. We're talking about visuals that make every scene pop and every detail crystal clear. Whether it's the latest blockbuster or your favorite TV series, Tamil DBox doesn't compromise quality. They've got everything from standard 480p to ultra-HD 1080p, catering to everyone's viewing preferences. However, there's a bit of a hitch. The Indian Government wasn't thrilled about Tamil DBox's offerings, and understandably so. The website was known for distributing pirated copies of the hottest releases in movies and web series. That kind of thing doesn't sit well with copyright laws. So, the authorities decided to block Tamil DBox. If you try to visit the site now, you'll be redirected to Tamil Gun, another piracy hub where you can find similar, unauthorized content. From 5 stars, my rating on Tamildbox is 4.5. do i have to pay for vpn service
Free VPN options
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an essential tool for maintaining online privacy and security. While premium VPN services offer top-notch features, not everyone can afford their subscription fees. Thankfully, there are free VPN options available for those looking to protect their online activities without spending any money.
One popular free VPN option is ProtonVPN. Developed by the creators of ProtonMail, this service provides strong encryption and unlimited bandwidth without compromising on security. Another reliable choice is Windscribe, offering up to 10GB of data per month for free users. With servers in over 60 countries, Windscribe allows you to access geo-restricted content with ease.
For users concerned about their online privacy, Hotspot Shield’s free version is worth considering. Though it displays ads, Hotspot Shield offers fast connection speeds and military-grade encryption to keep your data secure. TunnelBear is another user-friendly free VPN that provides simple and intuitive apps for various devices.
While free VPN options come with some limitations, such as data caps, slower speeds, and fewer server locations, they still offer a basic level of protection for casual browsing or occasional use. It's important to remember that free VPN services may not be as robust as their paid counterparts, so it's crucial to choose a reputable provider with a clear privacy policy.
In conclusion, while free VPN options may not offer the same features as premium services, they are a good starting point for those looking to enhance their online security without breaking the bank. By selecting a trustworthy free VPN provider, users can enjoy a safer and more private browsing experience without any upfront costs.
Paid VPN services
Paid VPN services offer users a plethora of benefits, making them a popular choice for individuals and businesses alike. VPNs, or Virtual Private Networks, create a secure and encrypted connection between your device and the internet, ensuring your online activities remain private and protected from prying eyes.
One of the primary advantages of opting for a paid VPN service is enhanced security. These services employ robust encryption protocols to safeguard your data from hackers, government surveillance, and other malicious entities. With features like AES-256 encryption and secure tunneling protocols such as OpenVPN or IKEv2/IPsec, paid VPNs provide peace of mind knowing that your sensitive information is shielded from potential threats.
Moreover, paid VPN services often offer a wider selection of server locations compared to free alternatives. This extensive server network allows users to bypass geo-restrictions and access content from around the globe. Whether you're traveling abroad and want to stream your favorite shows or need to access region-locked websites for work purposes, a paid VPN can grant you unrestricted internet access.
Additionally, paid VPNs typically offer faster connection speeds and more reliable performance compared to free services. By investing in premium infrastructure and advanced technologies, these VPN providers ensure smooth and seamless browsing, streaming, and downloading experiences for their users.
Furthermore, many paid VPN services include additional features like built-in ad blockers, malware protection, and multi-device support, further enhancing their value proposition. While free VPNs may suffice for basic browsing needs, the comprehensive security, privacy, and functionality offered by paid services make them a worthwhile investment for individuals and organizations seeking top-tier online protection and accessibility.
VPN pricing comparison
When it comes to choosing a VPN service, one of the key factors to consider is pricing. With numerous options available, understanding the pricing structures and features offered by different providers is essential for making an informed decision. Here's a comprehensive comparison of VPN pricing to help you choose the best option for your needs.
Firstly, many VPN providers offer tiered pricing plans based on subscription length. Monthly plans typically offer flexibility but come at a higher cost per month compared to longer-term plans. Providers often offer significant discounts for annual or biennial subscriptions, making them more cost-effective in the long run.
Another aspect to consider is the number of devices covered by the subscription. While some VPNs allow only a single device connection, others offer simultaneous connections on multiple devices, which is beneficial for users with multiple devices or households.
Additionally, pricing may vary depending on the level of features and security offered. Basic plans may provide essential features like encryption and access to a limited number of servers, while premium plans may include additional features such as ad-blocking, malware protection, and access to a larger server network.
It's also essential to consider any additional costs, such as fees for dedicated IP addresses or add-on services like dedicated streaming servers.
When comparing VPN pricing, it's crucial to balance cost with the quality of service and features provided. While opting for the cheapest option may seem tempting, it's essential to ensure that the chosen VPN meets your security and privacy needs without sacrificing performance or reliability.
In conclusion, evaluating VPN pricing requires careful consideration of subscription length, device compatibility, features, and additional costs. By comparing these factors, you can find a VPN service that offers the best value for your budget while meeting your security and privacy requirements.
Subscription fees for VPN
Title: Understanding Subscription Fees for VPN Services
In the digital age, where online privacy and security are paramount concerns, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) have emerged as indispensable tools for safeguarding personal data and maintaining anonymity while browsing the internet. However, accessing the benefits of a VPN often comes with a price tag, typically in the form of subscription fees. Understanding these fees is essential for making informed decisions about which VPN service to choose.
VPN subscription fees can vary widely depending on several factors, including the provider, the duration of the subscription, and the features offered. Most VPN services offer multiple subscription plans, ranging from monthly to annual subscriptions. Generally, opting for a longer subscription period often leads to significant discounts, making annual plans more cost-effective in the long run.
The cost of a VPN subscription can also be influenced by the features and capabilities of the service. Premium VPN providers may offer additional features such as access to a larger number of servers, faster connection speeds, dedicated IP addresses, and advanced security protocols. These enhanced features often come at a higher price point compared to basic VPN packages.
Additionally, some VPN providers offer free versions of their services, albeit with limitations such as data caps, slower connection speeds, and fewer server locations. While these free VPNs can be tempting, they may not provide the same level of security and privacy as their paid counterparts.
When considering subscription fees for VPN services, it's essential to weigh the cost against the level of privacy, security, and convenience provided. While budget-friendly options may be appealing, investing in a reputable VPN service with robust features and a proven track record of protecting user privacy is often a worthwhile investment in the long term.
In conclusion, subscription fees for VPN services can vary based on factors such as provider, subscription duration, and features offered. By understanding these factors and carefully evaluating your needs, you can choose a VPN service that offers the right balance of affordability and functionality to meet your online security and privacy requirements.
Costs of using VPN services
Using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) can offer numerous benefits, from enhanced online privacy to access to region-restricted content. However, like any service, VPNs come with associated costs that users should consider before subscribing.
One of the primary costs of using a VPN is the subscription fee. While some VPN providers offer free versions, these often come with limitations such as slower speeds, fewer server options, and data caps. To access premium features and better performance, users typically need to pay a monthly or annual subscription fee. The cost can vary depending on the provider, with some offering tiered pricing plans based on features and usage.
In addition to the subscription fee, users may also incur costs related to device compatibility. While many VPN services support a wide range of devices and operating systems, some may require additional software or configurations for certain platforms. Users may need to purchase compatible apps or pay for third-party software to ensure seamless integration with all their devices.
Another potential cost to consider is the impact on internet speed. While VPNs can encrypt data and protect privacy, they may also slow down internet connections due to the added layer of security and routing through remote servers. Some users may need to upgrade to a higher-tier internet plan to maintain satisfactory speeds while using a VPN.
Furthermore, users should be aware of any hidden costs or fees associated with VPN services. This could include charges for exceeding data limits, additional features or add-ons, or fees for customer support beyond basic troubleshooting.
Overall, while VPNs offer valuable benefits, it's essential for users to carefully evaluate the costs involved to ensure they're getting the best value for their money.

TCGF Donghua Masterpost: How to Watch Legally!~
✨First things to know:✨
There are two places to watch: the official Bilibili App/Website, or Bilibili's YouTube Channel.
Episodes are going to be simulcast, with hard-coded English subtitles on launch!
Both are paid services, if you want to watch on-release as it airs. Price varies per region.
You can also watch for free on YouTube two weeks after an episode airs live. You will not be able to watch for free on Bilibili except for ep1.
The YouTube channel will only have free episodes for a limited time, so if you are watching for free, do not dally! They will be locked behind a paid sub after some time, too.
IMPORTANT: The TGCF donghua on YouTube is region-locked. (Unavailable countries: North/Central/South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia.) But if you are affected, you can use a VPN. Just pay for the sub and then use VPN.
ALTERNATIVELY: Everyone can watch on the Bilibili website, as it has no region locks! You can pay on the website via PayPal!
The Bilibili app itself is region-locked, but Android users can easily use an APK (and pay with GooglePay) to circumvent this. iOS users are best off sticking to the website only, but some counties may allow the app to be downloaded (just check first).
You will need a Bilibili account if you're going to use the Bilibili App/Website. But it's not difficult to make (guide will be linked below), and if you have one for the TGCF manhua, you can just use that one.
✨"Bilibili or YouTube?"✨
Short answer: Bilibili is better overall, especially the website. But there are pros and cons of each, so you can decide for yourself.
Pros of YouTube:
Easy to navigate for English speakers
Straightforward to subscribe, via Google/Apple Pay, or PayPal
Cons of YouTube:
Region-locked for many countries
Require a VPN if so
Subscription is more expensive in certain regions
Pros of Bilibili:
Website is not region-locked, no VPN required
Can use PayPal to pay for sub via website, or GooglePay/Apple Pay via mobile app
Subscription is cheaper
Cons of Bilibili:
Little confusing to navigate if you don't know Chinese
App is region-locked on Google Play/Apple App Store, and iOS users cannot download APK to get around this unlike Android users (but everyone can still use website!!!)
---
⚠️Please expand the following visual guides, as tumblr heavily compresses them for your dash.⚠️
---
✨YouTube Guide✨
Important Notices:
The paid subscriptions are just channel-based.
YouTube has tiered subscriptions. "MBBM lv2" is the tier you want, in order to watch both episodes 1 & 2 on launch (October 31st). "MBBM lv1" will only have access to episode 1, thus putting them one week behind the lv2 viewers.
Go to: "youtube [.] com/channel/UCQFy MGc60N MCd6H Ck0ZPA" (remove spaces and brackets)
How to subscribe on YouTube:
Tumblr media
If you are from one of the region-locked countries, you can use a VPN after purchasing the subscription. If you don't have a paid VPN, you can use a free one like ProtonVPN (suggested by many fans, who have verified it works with the 2nd PV, as that is currently region-locked too).
---
✨Bilibili Website Guide✨
Important Notices:
You will need a Bilibili account. If you have one for the manhua, for example, you can just use those same credentials. If you need to make a new account, please see the end of this post for a link on how to make one.
There are no tiers for the Bilibili subscription; it's just one flat price.
You can choose to buy the 3 month subscription, which will allot you 93 days--more than enough for the airing of the donghua. You can also pay monthly if you wish. (There are other lengths too, but you likely do not need/want them.)
Go to: "Bilibili [.] com" (remove spaces and brackets)
How to subscribe on the Bilibili Website:
Tumblr media
Be sure to follow the 天官赐福 page on Bilibili afterwards!~
---
✨Bilibili App Guide✨
Important Notices:
If the app is region-locked in your country (most likely is), please download the APK via APKPure!!!!!!! There are two versions of the app, and the one from the Bilibili home page is not the one you want because it requires AliPay/WeChat Pay/etc, all of which require Chinese credentials.
Due to the probable need of using an APK to get it, using the app is only easy for Android users! If iOS users are able to download the correct version of the app, however, the guide is much the same.
I have a guide on how to know which app is the right one, if needed. See below this section.
How to subscribe on the Bilibili app:
Tumblr media
Once you pay on the app, you'll be able to watch anywhere!
---
If you need to make a new Bilibili account, check out the instructions on this reddit post: "reddit [.] com/r/FinalGearEN/comments/di6tme/bilibili_account_registration_guide/" (remove spaces an brackets)
---
‼️Differences between Bilibili Apps:‼️
Tumblr media
I'm not sure if the alternative version of the app works with PayPal in other regions, but it didn't give me the option when I tried, even when I logged in. Thus, my guess is no, and that only the website offers PayPal, but the "correct" version of the app offers via Google Play.
---
✨"When should I pay?"✨
Probably a few days before the donghua releases would get you the most bang for your buck. If you are paying via Bilibili and doing the 3 month sub (93 days), you can pay basically anytime between now and October 31st and have enough days left on your sub for all 11 episodes. (Unless there is a random mid-season break, but I doubt that.)
---
Hope this helps! If you have questions, feel free to send in an ask!
And sorry for the ugliness of these images. Graphic design is not my passion as you can see.... 😂

Note
hello yes can i just say i l o v e d your gen z hcs and may i acquire more
for starters, i am not religious, but i am PRAYING you don’t think i was ignoring your ask. i’ve been thinking about it since i got it, it’s just that i’m a college student with worms for brains, so hopefully you understand. this is something that i’ve had on my mind for a long time [i’ve been at this on and off for months], and it most definitely can be associated with/attributed to gen z.
for a fleeting, wonderful period of time, there was a trend on tiktok that went, “buss it, buss it…” are you familiar?
that should be enough of a summary, right? ah—for future reference, “o7” is like a saluting emote, for anyone who might not know. reader is g/n as usual, enjoy!
[a/n: so because this is so long, this part is going to be, like, the lore, and then the actual headcanons will be right here]
trendy
the two things most corrosive to the human spirit are easily named—capitalism and boredom. while it would be easier and less taxing to explain the former, the latter was the problem at hand. it’s not that there was nothing to do in the devildom—quite the opposite, actually—it was just that you wanted some time to yourself every now and again. the trouble with trying to take time for yourself in a completely new location, the residents of which are always enamored with you in one way or another, is that there isn’t anything to do. the house was full of adventures for you to take—the trap door under the rug in the library, the other trap door under the dining room table, the small door behind the couch in the living room, and whatever other poorly hidden doors your seven roommates thought you didn’t know about.
trouble was, you didn’t want to leave your room. you, intelligent creature that you are, knew that the chances of you running into mammon or satan or beel or asmo were all too high, and even higher were the chances of you agreeing to spend time with them if they asked, and you knew they would. what were you to do?
you stared at your ceiling from your bed, d.d.d. resting on your stomach as you let your mind wander. your d.d.d. was full of things for you to do, the devildom’s ethernet at your fingertips, but you weren’t interested in finding new things right now. you wanted something familiar, like—like your phone.
what was the point of lucifer taking your phone, anyway? it’s not like you could use it—being here rendered it a useless brick of glass and metal, so it wouldn’t have been a big deal if you still had it. it was funny, though, that you couldn’t use your actual phone when it was still possible to access the human internet from down here.
at least, you assumed so.
how else would levi be able to keep up with his human idols, get tickets for their shows—the works, you know? luckily, you were fully capable of asking.
d.d.d. now in your hand, you rolled onto your stomach and found your messages with levi, nails clacking against the glass as you tried to reach him.
hey, you texted, can you help me with something?
his reply came faster than you expected: ?? what do you need
how do i access human websites and apps, you asked, rolling onto your side. you know how to, right?
lololol, it’s not possible :p
a grunt, more aggravated than you’d care to admit, escaped from the back of your throat.
don’t lie.
a few minutes passed with no response, and you wondered if you were too harsh.
“he’s a sensitive guy,” you mumbled, inhaling deeply. “i probably came on too strong or something.”
just as you started typing out an apology and a, “forget i ever said anything,” you got a response.
a vpn and a proxy site.
a smile crept onto your face as air came out of your nose, the closest thing to a laugh you could muster.
can you set it up for me?
after another few minutes of no response, you sit up, wondering how you could’ve possibly fucked up a second time, your d.d.d. buzzed.
levi sent you a file and a link, with a host of instructions.
click on the file and it’ll take you to the vpn you need to download. don’t worry about bugs or anything, i made it myself.
you let out a low whistle, flopping onto your back once more.
“this guy gets up to more than i thought,” you said, eyebrows raised. “someone get this man some physical affection.”
you continued to read, growing more fond of him with each sentence.
once you install it, pick the country whose network you want access to. from there, you’ll have a list of that country’s most used applications available for you. again, don’t worry about bugs.
what’s the link for? you asked, excitement getting the better of you.
for when you download internet applications. it’s added security, paste the link in before you search anything or you’ll trigger the firewall alarm.
you blinked.
you’ll trigger the what?
i’ll trigger the fucking What?
levi’s response was the fastest one yet: the Fucking Firewall Alarm. barbatos’ design. he has no idea i know how to bypass it. just do what i said. don’t try to solve any potential issues on your own, come to me for everything.
roger that o7, you replied, thanks levi ^_^
yeah, yeah. come to my room for a hxh binge tomorrow night.
you snorted. what a fucking nerd—in the greatest way possible.
of course bestie :] ily
ily2 normie -_-
in his room, unbeknownst to you, levi felt like he made a mistake of some kind. it’s not that he didn’t trust you, it’s just that you had a tendency to end up in undesirable situations, even if it wasn’t always on purpose. he was probably just worried over nothing, or so he tried to tell himself, but whatever. this isn’t even about him.
you sat up once more, this time leaning against your pillows as you started setting everything up. everything went so quickly that you barely wondered if all of this—subverting hell’s firewall, personally designed by a man eerily similar to a 2D crush from when you were in middle school—was worth accessing a few silly apps from the human world.
a few minutes later, your d.d.d. now a much, much cooler copy of your phone, any and all thoughts of regret and hesitation were absent from your mind.
your first order of business on your upgraded d.d.d. was logging into your tiktok account, however surprising it was that you even remembered the password. you put your headphones in and adjusted your volume, going back into the dumpster fire that is your for-you page with open arms.
after around half an hour of stifled laughter and small, offended gasps from being targeted by the algorithm, you came across a rare dancing video. the person on your screen was in casual clothes, making minor, silly dance movements as the music dwindled, only for them to drop into a squat in time with the music, suddenly dolled up. you shot forward, taken aback by their transformation and by their dancing post beat drop. did you watch it on a loop for a few minutes? well, that’s nobody’s business but yours. you clicked on the sound in hopes of finding similar videos, and much to your relief, there were plenty. about ten videos in, a smile still on your face, you got an idea.
you slipped your headphones out, arbitrarily looking around your room, before whispering to yourself, “i could—i could do that. i could totally do that.”
and you were right. you had nice clothes and makeup from various shopping occasions with asmo. your room had led strips, courtesy of levi ordering the wrong ones and being so kind as to give them to you. you could do it.
levi was the only person you’d spoken to since you retreated to your room a few hours ago, and the lights have been off the entire time, which meant that if you worked quietly enough, everyone else had reason enough to assume you were asleep. good! how could you possibly explain what you were doing getting all dolled up at, like, 11:00 on a wednesday night? you couldn’t, even a little bit—not in a way that convinced anyone, anyway.
come midnight, you were sitting cross legged on your bed, watching your final product. not to be vain or anything, but you were looking very respectfully at yourself. since when could you move like that, anyway? the wonders of being alone, you supposed.
you didn’t post it publicly, electing to save it as a draft just so it would save to your d.d.d. maybe you’d post it once you were back in the human world, when your friends wouldn’t swarm your comments asking where the fuck you were.
yeah, lucifer told you, “everything was taken care of,” but regardless of whether or not you believed him, you knew it wasn’t a good idea to risk finding out if he missed something.
boredom creeping up on you again, you elected to go through the messages on your d.d.d. it would be better to make yourself laugh before you were fully bored again, right? you stood up and stretched, opening the group text with the adults. luke doesn’t know about it; he thinks the one with everyone is the main one, and everyone lets him think that so he feels included.
walking around your room in small circles, you scrolled up to the older conversations and read through them, rolling your eyes and chuckling to yourself. very rarely did they talk about anything of importance. it was mostly diavolo, barbatos, and simeon making quips and jokes at lucifer’s expense for everyone to see. it was gold in its purest form.
you contemplated sending one of the many cursed things sitting in your camera roll, just to keep them on their toes, but just after opening your gallery, you resigned not to, figuring it would be best to leave him alone.
you stretched again, the hold on your d.d.d. a bit looser this time. it nearly slipped out of your hands, but you caught it, tossing it onto your bed. as soon as you resigned to start getting ready for bed, you turned back around and picked it up.
there was no rhyme or reason to your actions; if someone in that moment were to ask you why you did it, you would’ve said, “just ‘cause.”
human intuition is a wonderful thing.
your d.d.d. was still on, still open to the group chat. you’d sent something, evidently a second ago, as indicated by the time stamp. the thumbnail was of you, in casual clothing—the casual clothing you were wearing before you got dolled up, actually. huh.
huh.
the weight of your mistake came crashing down on you in full force, a chill sinking into your skin and running up your spine.
you were suddenly acutely aware of the concept of time, how it was of the essence and you had absolutely none to waste.
what were you to do? it wouldn’t be long before your favorite person saw it. you had to do something.
you could say nothing. you could tell the truth and say it was an accident and that you were embarrassed, but that was even worse than saying nothing because it meant you were set to be the target of teasing you didn’t even wanna try to imagine. you could say it was an accident and be confident about it, telling them, “enjoy!” but that was a dangerous game to play, and you knew it.
well, i do admire you for taking time to think, but, unfortunately, there was a checkmark next to your message. oh, a number as well—eleven. you just can’t catch a break. what were they all doing up at this time, anyway? it was a school night🤨.

my annual digital cleanup attempt ❤️
back at it again at trying to not let tech corporations control my life... my challenge for all of you is to pick at least 2 or 3 of these things and do them now, if you’re on tumblr right now you have the time and probably the ability to do some of these. I love you!!
things I’ve done this past year or earlier and recommend for everyone else:
✅ web browsers: stop using Chrome!! I’ve been using Brave for a couple years and I love it; it’s incredibly easy to switch from Chrome and copy over your history and favourites, and all Chrome extensions will work on Brave. I recently also downloaded the mobile app. I know real ones use Firefox though ✅ search engines: stop using Google!! I use Duckduckgo on my laptop and on my phone and I’m happy with it. I still use Google Maps so if someone has a good alternative do tell! ✅ buy a VPN: I went with Surfshark with a discount code from Reddit. NordVPN is also very highly recommended. here’s Reddit’s breakdown if you want to see more options and discount codes ✅ email accounts: make a non-gmail account. I have a protonmail account but I think tutanota might actually be a better choice. ✅ mailing lists: unsubscribe from mailing lists you don’t want to be on. this doesn’t need to be a big project, but can be a consistent commitment to hit “unsubscribe” when you receive an email you didn’t want. it literally takes one or two clicks, you can do it ❤️ ✅ social media: set some limits. I’ve set limits on my phone for 20 minutes of Twitter, 10 of Instagram, and 10 of Tumblr, which is more than I usually spend per day anyway, but I want to avoid those days when I spend... 40 minutes... on Instagram 😬I don’t even enjoy Instagram unless it’s cat pictures.
things I still need to do:
✅ VPN: set up my VPN on my phone and on my family’s devices ✅ email accounts: switch over some of my gmail account’s functions (probably starting with online banking, my phone bill and such, listservs, social media accounts, and accounts with my medical practitioners; I might make a new separate account for promotional emails). I have my protonmail account but I don’t use it as of yet lol. ⬜️ t******ing: relearn how to t*rr*** 😇it’s been a long time!! I have qB*t******* downloaded 🥰 ✅ old emails: as usual, put some effort into deleting old emails, especially promo emails. remember this isn’t just for like, your own wellness, all those emails have a carbon footprint too! my strategy is to just search for a sender (e.g. “sephora” or “goodreads”) and delete everything that isn’t a recent receipt. ⬜️ delete Facebook: this is my big goal for 2022. my account is from 2008 and is the only place where a lot of my old photos are stored, so I’m starting by backing all of those up (learn how here). I think my intention will be to delete my account by my birthday in July. ⬜️ social media: I’m honestly committing to “Tweetless Tuesday 2022” (yes I coined this myself.) which means I’m logging off of Twitter every Tuesday, all year! Might take this a step further and also not use Instagram or Tumblr on Tuesdays either. #detox #cleanse
this is a decent amount of stuff for me to do this year but I will also heed any recommendations if you think I’m missing something important or useful!!

DRAMAtical Murder Masterpost type thing (Links to buy things and a general introduction to what DMMd is)
So... since information on DRAMAtical Murder tends to be scattered and/or outdated, I'm making this. It's not necessarily needed, but hopefully it'll help someone, and it'll also satisfy my weird need to archive and compile things(?) lol. This will cover what DRAMAtical Murder even is, to how to play/purchase the game, to other links + resources for existing fans. This is mainly just… links to purchase things. So many links. If you have any suggestions, additions, or if something is incorrect, please let me know! If you have any questions at all, feel free to send me an ask or message- I will answer as best I can. A note about the links- links to sites where the item is unavailable are not included here. So there were other sites where things could be purchased, but are now not available, so I excluded them. I tried my best to check that all items were still available to purchase and that they were also official links (Although some of them I kind of couldn’t tell). If something becomes unavailable or a link doesn't work or etc, please let me know. Also, please be aware that as DMMd is an 18+ game, some links may contain adult content. Otherwise, is this post late by like 7 years? Yes. Moving on.
Firstly...
What is DRAMAtical Murder?
DRAMAtical Murder (DMMd) is an r18 Boys Love Visual novel created by Nitro+CHiRAL back in 2012. It has 4 character routes, with a 5th unlockable one. All the routes have 2 endings each, a good and bad ending- with the exception of 1 who has multiple bad endings (Noiz). There was a sequel/fandisc released in 2013 with DRAMAtical Murder re:connect, a SFW PS Vita port in 2014 with DRAMAtical Murder re:code (with the explicit content cut out and an extra route added), and an Anime adaptation in the same year. There was also a stage play adaptation in late 2019. There was a fanmade translation patch released for DMMd and DMMd re:connect on AarinFantasy forums, which is how many fans experienced the game in English. It was only in recent years that DMMd, and other Nitro+CHiRAL games would get an offical English translation by JAST BLUE. Nitro+CHiRAL has released other BL games, with Togainu no Chi, Lamento, and Sweet Pool. Their most recent release is Slow Damage, which will be getting an offical English release as well. I encourage you to support and purchase the official release if you are able to. As the game is now out officially in English, there will be no links or etc to the patch in this post.
Here is one plot summary (Technically from the Anime but the other ones I found were google translate quality); The story takes place many years in the future where the game "Rhyme," a virtual fighting game, is incredibly popular and people possess "AllMates," convenient AI computers. Aoba leads an ordinary life, working at a junk shop and living with his grandmother on the island of Midorijima. Unlike his friends, he doesn't participate in Rhyme, nor does he belong in a gang. However, when rumors of people disappearing spread, Aoba finds himself needing to unravel the mysteries behind the island in order to protect his everyday life. So, basically, DMMd is a BL Visual novel. Like all Nitro+CHiRAL games, DMMd contains content some may find triggering- just as a small warning. Otherwise, and this is coming from a huge fan- I personally think DMMd is amazing. The characters are wonderful, their backstories are unique and makes them feel fleshed out and give the DMMd world more life, in a way- the music is incredible and really… there is nothing quite like DMMd, it's so wonderfully strange and great. I promise you it's so much more than just the explicit stuff. ...But again that's just me. Not everyone will like it and even some fans will not see it the same way I do, but anyway.
How can I play the game?
For the Japanese version; There are two versions of DMMd; the original, and the Windows 10 version. The original isn't sold anymore to my knowledge, however that version should still work on Windows 10. Please note you will need to set your system Locale to Japanese or use something like Locale Emulator/NTLEA to play the game, or it will not work. Setting your actual system Locale to Japanese may cause problems, so keep this in mind. For the English version; Simply use the links provided below to purchase the official English release of the game! Here are the links to purchase the games, including physical and digital copies. Some links may not work for English users, a VPN may be needed. It may also be possible to use a Proxy/Package forwarding service depending. DRAMAtical Murder; (ENGLISH) (JAST USA, uncensored) https://jastusa.com/dramatical-murder (Steam, censored) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1481080/DRAMAtical_Murder/ (Uncensor patch for the Steam version) https://jastusa.com/dramatical-murder-dlc-steam (Note that this patch is NOT needed if you bought the game from the JAST USA store) (J-List, uncensored physical copy) https://www.jlist.com/category/games-computers/visual-novels/blue003le
(JAPANESE) (Nitroplus Store, digital) https://nitroplus.ecq.sc/np02077.html (DMM, digital) https://dlsoft.dmm.co.jp/detail/hobe_0436/ (DMM, digital (English)) https://dlsoft.dmm.co.jp/en/detail/hobe_0436 (DMM, physical) https://www.dmm.co.jp/mono/pcgame/-/detail/=/cid=1064apc12971/ (Amazon, physical) https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07S8BQ7KB (Stellaworth, digital) https://www.stellaworth.co.jp/shop/item.php?item_id=GcCnYq1PYdc Here is the page for DMMd on JAST BLUE's website, which has the same links to purchase it in English; https://jast.blue/dramaticalmurder.html
What about DRAMAtical Murder re:connect?
re:connect is the fandisc/sequel to the original. It has mainly the short stories that add to the original endings, both good and bad. It also has more stories that can be unlocked like Aoba’s backstory, and what happened afterwards with Mizuki. It also includes minigames and the April Fools jokes N+C did before re:connect was released. JAST BLUE has not confirmed a translation will happen for re:connect, but there is still the fan translation released on Aarinfantasy forums. If there is any news on JAST BLUE and re:connect, I will update this post. As said before, there is no Windows 10 version of re:connect, although it should work fine on Windows 10 regardless. Below are the links to purchase it. DRAMAtical Murder re:connect; (Nitroplus store, digital) https://nitroplus.ecq.sc/np00947.html (DMM, digital) https://www.dmm.co.jp/mono/pcgame/-/detail/=/cid=1064apc10368/ (Amazon, physical) https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00BB6X522 (Stellaworth, digital) https://www.stellaworth.co.jp/shop/item.php?item_id=zsKBDBKLWK0 (Stellaworth, digital (Comes with CD bonus(?)) https://www.stellaworth.co.jp/shop/item.php?item_id=KDaAgAaaDxK As before, please note you will need to set your system Locale to Japanese or use something like Locale Emulator/NTLEA to play the game, or it will not work. Setting your actual system Locale to Japanese may cause problems, so keep this in mind.
Then what about DRAMAtical Murder re:code?
re:code is the PS Vita port of the original PC release. It cuts out the explicit content, censors some CGs for a 15+ rating, adds new CGs and even some new scenes, and adds an entirely new route; the Morphine route, aka the Mizuki route. re:code also addressed some plot-holes that were in the original. Here are the links to purchase re:code; DRAMAtical Murder re:code; (Playstation store, digital) https://store.playstation.com/ja-jp/product/JP0169-PCSG00420_00-DRAMATICALMURDER (Amazon, physical) https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00LIQQAI6/ You can purchase and play the physical copy with no issues. For digital copies it’s a little trickier. Here is a guide to downloading Japanese games on your PS Vita; https://kotaku.com/how-to-play-games-from-the-japanese-psn-on-your-non-jap-5983578 ^ Note that this is not a problem with physical copies. re:code is not in English and hasn't been confirmed for an official English localization, but there is a fan translation of the Morphine/Mizuki route that's exclusive to re:code, by shinocchidesu. You can read it here; https://shinocchidesu.net/post/162356717914/dramatical-murder-recode-morphine-route They have also shown the main differences between the original and re:code routes. You can also watch the gameplays uploaded by FancyPotatoCake on YouTube here whilst using the fan translation if you want; https://www.youtube.com/user/SuRi00ReUp/playlists +For the Morphine/Mizuki route, the actual route starts on part 7, at around 21:00 onwards. It’s unlikely that re:code will get an official English translation, but then again- DMMd is, and it’s been like 7 years since that came out, so maybe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The stage play
In late 2019, there was a stage play adaptation of DMMd, featuring all the routes as separate performances. You can purchase them on the following sites and stream it for up to 60 days before needing to purchase it again; https://www.dmm.com/digital/top/stage/dmmd/ https://mirail.video/title/3290017 The above sites won't let you purchase unless you use a VPN. If you cannot use the link, you can download recordings of the streams here; https://misaki01.tumblr.com/post/190765753950/dl-brain-crash-theater-dramatical-murder-all Please follow the rules listed on the post and read everything carefully. As for stage play translations, you can find more information on them here; https://hkdmmd.tumblr.com/post/622736646854574081/dmmd-stage-play-translations (Thank you again <3)
The drama CDs
There have been various drama CDs for DMMd. The drama CDs (or in this case, BLCD) is essentially the same as the Visual novel, except it’s purely audio. The same voice actors from the VN are in the drama CDs. The bonus CDs; Some of the CDs were included as a special pre-order bonus, with different CDs from different sites. I’m unsure if these are able to be purchased anymore, unless it’s second-hand. You can see various links for the CDs here; https://dmmdresources.tumblr.com/cds There were also a series of "after" drama CDs, which are set after re:connect. (And in my opinion, are extremely important for understanding the routes and their backstories better. I highly recommend listening to them!) The majority of the CDs can be found on YouTube, some also have English subtitles. Shibaface on Tumblr has translated all the main "after" CDs here; https://shibaface.tumblr.com/tagged/translation You can also view the same translations here as documents; https://1drv.ms/f/s!AqrTMWbLX7u5mANJd60_3W2WuK6g Below are links to purchase the "after" CDs. The Side stories
There were various side stories as well, most of them being posted onto the Nitro+CHiRAL staff blog, but there was also a small book released. The main one released as a book, was the Summer Side Stories. It's set after the re:connect good ends. (As a side note, I believe the "after" drama CDs are set after these side stories, or all the side stories- sort of making those CDs the "final chapter" in the DMMd world but… I could be wrong lol) For buying the Summer Side Stories; https://nitroplus.ecq.sc/npo926.html https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00UPW8PXC Here is an English translation for the Summer Side Stories (In PDF format); https://dmmd-support.tumblr.com/post/106543447780/download-click-here-the-team-belatedly-wishes Birthday side stories; Noiz; (Original post) https://www.nitrochiral.com/staffblog/2012/1554.php (Translation by ancestralmask) https://ancestralmask.tumblr.com/post/27089560151/translation-noizs-birthday-2012 Mink; (Original post) https://www.nitrochiral.com/staffblog/2012/1582.php (Translation by memera) https://memera.tumblr.com/post/32354840550 Koujaku; (Original post) https://www.nitrochiral.com/staffblog/2012/1575.php (Translation by ancestralmask) https://ancestralmask.tumblr.com/post/29734654910/translation-koujakus-birthday-2012 Clear; (Original post) https://www.nitrochiral.com/staffblog/2013/1626.php (Translation by memera) https://memera.tumblr.com/post/45398166319 Ren (+ Aoba); (Original post) https://www.nitrochiral.com/staffblog/2013/1659.php (translation by ayuuria) https://ayuuria.tumblr.com/post/48594080767/422-short-story-aoba-and-rens-birthday Valentine Side stories; *The original posts were only up from the 14th to the 17th before being deleted. Soundtracks + music CDs
There were various soundtracks and music CDs released, I've linked the ones I could find still available down below. DMMd period. (re:connect soundtrack); https://nitroplus.ecq.sc/np00978.html https://www.stellaworth.co.jp/shop/item.php?item_id=6U1GnG117cG https://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/pd/1205096/ https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/GRN-34?s_ssid=e4180f5f04cf223975 SLIP ON THE PUMPS (Anime opening song); https://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/pd/1271072/ (Includes opening video) https://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/pd/1271073/ https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/AVCA-74528?s_ssid=e417ce5f04cf43f261 https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/AVCA-74529?s_ssid=e417ce5f04cf43f261 (Includes opening video) Rasterize Memory (Anime ending songs); https://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/pd/1277006/ https://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/pd/1277005/ (Includes ending animation sequences) https://www.stellaworth.co.jp/shop/item.php?item_id=LWoxrxrxDLK https://www.stellaworth.co.jp/shop/item.php?item_id=QjZ3S3S3FQj (Includes ending animation sequences) https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/AVCA-74531?s_ssid=e417ce5f04cf43f261 https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/AVCA-74530?s_ssid=e417ce5f04cf43f261 (Includes ending animation sequences) engage+ment ("after" drama CDs ending songs); https://nitroplus.ecq.sc/np01118.html https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B01ABAPBLG *The re:code soundtrack, append music re:cord, was only sold with the limited edition version of re:code. *I can't seem to find shape.memory.music (the original game's soundtrack) being sold anymore. *retro.game.music (original soundtrack in 8-bit) isn't sold anymore.
General merch + Proxy/Forwarding services
I didn't list all the merch available, because… there's a lot. You can buy general (official) DMMd merch from these sites; (Nitroplus store) https://nitroplus.ecq.sc/work/dramatical-murder.html (Nitroplus Store (English)) https://nitroplus-global.ecq.sc/work/dramatical-murder.html ^ Note that the English version doesn't have all the items found in the Japanese site. (Animate shop) https://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/animetitle/?aid=2508 ^ This is where the stage play bromides are being sold, alongside some other DMMd things. (Bromides being pictures of the actors, basically) (CDJapan) https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/ ^ You can search for DRAMAtical Murder here. I don't see a lot of extra items still available though. *Just to mention, the r18 Morphine Aoba figure is now sold on J-List. That's the only DMMd merch on there currently (until DMMd releases in English I assume, as the physical copy will likely be sold on J-List too). You can of course also use stuff like Amazon and Ebay, but I believe the sites listed above are the only official sites. Some sites don't deliver outside of Japan. For stuff like that, you can use a Proxy or a Forwarding service. I won't go into detail about them here, but be sure to research them carefully (Especially since some countries won't allow some items and may add extra fees as well). You can also get a lot of merch second-hand too, of course. But beware of bootleg merchandise. It can be pretty easy to see when an item is a bootleg, but often bootlegs can look almost as good and official as the real thing. Below are some guides on how to spot a bootleg; https://solarisjapan.com/blogs/news/ultimate-guide-bootlegs-fake-anime-figures https://animegami.co.uk/blog/how-to-spot-a-bootleg-counterfeit-figure-by-animegami/ These mainly apply to figures, but still.
Extra stuff
A couple of extra miscellaneous links because why not. 100% save data for DRAMAtical Murder (Not re:connect); https://cadavaberry.tumblr.com/post/20877649750 ^ Useful for if you want to replay Ren's route, but don't want to replay all the other routes to unlock it since you keep losing your saves (aka me). *If you haven't played before, please play the routes and don't use this to skip any! You'd really be missing out in that case I feel. A generally amazing resource for so many different DMMd things; https://dmmdresources.tumblr.com/ (That's all I have for right now but I may add stuff later, oops.) I would like to say a huge thank you to all the translators and everyone who has contributed in one way or another to help with letting people like myself enjoy DMMd. This isn't exactly the post for thanks, but anyway. Thank you all. (。’▽’。)♡ I hope this helped at all!! If anyone would like any more information on anything else DMMd-related, you're more than welcome to send an ask or message. I won't be able to answer everything but I will certainly try, haha.

i was very internet savvy at a very young age (i guess you'd call it my only savant skill) but as much as i hate to admit it, some of my internet savvy came from having a stepdad who was a webhoster on the side so he was always very concerned that i would fuck up our one (1) family computer so he drilled internet safety into me. some of it i could disregard to a degree (any web safety thing aimed at kids that assumes that every person on the internet is a murderer is going to make the kids disregard everything you say, you need to teach kids how to differentiate the good from the bad and how to verify things and how to maintain your privacy), but a lot of it was actually really useful. the thing is that i was so web savvy that after taking my typing test in 5th grade, i tested so well on it that they waived my need for the computer class at all. which is good, because i know it would've been redundant for me, a person who learned to tell on sight which limewire downloads would give me viruses in early elementary school, but my worry is that a lot of kids are growing up right now with no parents who think to teach them web safety and schools that won't instill the proper methods. because it's not just "everyone is secretly a 40 year old man on the internet" because as a person with a long-term girlfriend who i met online 11 years ago, i can tell you that's not true. so i'm gonna try to outline basic web safety. feel free to add:
first of all, don't list absolutely everything about you in your bio on ANY website. i've always used a pseudonym, but if you don't want to do that use a nickname or your first name only. you don't need to list your age or any identifying information. this includes: birthdays, upcoming events, and current photographs. i know you're rolling your eyes, but if you insist on facebook or instagram, keep your accounts private. i'll make exceptions for cosplay because that's a removal of identifying features. you should know that any photograph you post online is used by facial recognition software and saved to a database (this includes facial recognition on your phone). and the reason i say not to list upcoming events on websites is because the more information you post about yourself to strangers, the more likely weird stalkers are to track you. they can find you off of the smallest details, and the more you give them the easier you make it
i'd discourage the use of google chrome. it was a great browser back when i was a teenager, but it tracks every movement you make and is partnering with real shady people who are using your data in shifty ways (this is also why i discourage facebook, as a person who left the site almost 10 years ago, but i digress). a lot of us are shifting back to firefox now because it's much more secure for our privacy.
invest in an adblocker. seriously, adblockers are free in a lot of cases. get one. become ungovernable. you probably also want a vpn while you're at it. if privacy reasons aren't good enough, you should know that they stop you from having to watch annoying ads AND unblock content on youtube/netflix that's restricted in your country
when an app requires permissions to use your location or show notifications, opt out. just don't do it. don't. be. trackable.
there are ways to get around paywalls and websites that refuse to let you use with an adblock. i can send you tutorials if you wanna know. you shouldn't have to pay for knowledge on the internet
if you're posting youtube videos, don't enable it to show your filming location under the video. it baffles me that this is a feature now. i keep seeing videos that say the location under them
don't tell strangers on the internet everything about yourself all at once. build trust with people you like on shared communities then after you're sure, you can start verifying people through zoom or whatever. never meet someone until you've verified them over webcam. always meet in a public place that's a good distance from where you actually live so they don't have a good stalking jumping off place if it doesn't go well. and don't send pics to anyone you haven't verified
i mean this for any reason, not just for nudes. no sending pics to anyone you haven't verified. you don't know what they're doing with them or where they might distribute them. if anyone tries to pressure you into pics, they're shady af
get a good antivirus if you're going to be downloading or torrenting. always download or torrent from reputable sources. if it looks shifty, don't do it. you do NOT want a virus on your computer. and i know "reputable sources" is a weird phrase for illegal torrenting but like...people who've been in the game for a while generally know the best websites that won't completely eat your computer
youtube to mp3 converters exist and can also rip full video files from youtube
back up all your files to external discs. don't trust things like google or a03 or even your computer to store your files indefinitely. one little glitch and they're all gone forever
if anyone you don't recognize sends you a link to ANYTHING don't click on it. we call that phishing and it's also a way of spreading viruses. you click and suddenly your computer is fucked and your passwords are stolen and in extreme cases your bank can be hacked. they switch up their tactics frequently, so just don't click on anything that looks weird
that's all i can think of, but there's definitely more

What Is Texochat
Texochat is a Blockchain based multi usage chat application. Texochat has taken the Blockchain opportunity to build an app where anyone can fulfill their crypto use. Texochat aims to provide all features in one app.
Although, there are many applications in the market which people are using and the apps like Telegram and Discord are the primary choices of crypto uses but still they lack some features. Apart from being a Blockchain based application, Texochat has some distinguished features which makes it stand tall amongst all.
Problems and Solution:
This is a digital world and everyone tends to be as digital as possible. In this era, there is extensive use of Smartphone. Everyone has a Smartphone and messengers are the most common applications. In a consequence, people have denied heavy desktop and PC use because of the global healthy use of a smartphone. Every person now a day has a smartphone in his or her hand, and everyone is fond of using instant messaging applications to communicate with friends, colleagues, employees or family members.
With each passing day, an ever-increasing number of messengers are showing up on the market. Every errand person has its own particular gathering of people, and accordingly, it is fundamental to introduce many applications in the cell phone to speak with companions. But there are certain problems associated with the messenger applications:

Texochat has given a perfect solution to those who can’t access to an existing application like Telegram or Discord because of the ban. We at Texochat are providing inbuilt VPN integration service. This built-in feature was added because of the fact that China and Russia have a Ban on Telegram. By having our APP users don’t need to download any extra VPN. User can enjoy the usage of an app without any proxy of an external VPN application. This is one of the major features that many of the crypto users were looking for and Texochat has provided this feature in its app.

Group admin creates a “POLL” in the group of whether he can send messages individually or not. If he gets the vote of at least 100 people or 30% in favor then he can send messages to individuals.
Use Cases:

See blocked YouTube videos: 4 ways
The popular video platform YouTube provides a wealth of videos and clips on various topics - but unfortunately still not completely everywhere and for everyone. Bans affect YouTube videos for a variety of reasons. For example, content can be “reserved” for users in a certain region through geo-blocking, but access to YouTube as a whole can also be impossible in countries with very restrictive governments. The question “How can you watch videos that are blocked on YouTube?” Is therefore of interest to users all over the world. It can be answered using various methods - we will introduce you to the best of them!
№1 Bypass YouTube block via VPN - the easiest way The easiest way to watch blocked videos on YouTube is without a doubt a VPN client. The virtual private networks direct you through one of their servers, the location of which you can choose. If a YouTube video is blocked in Germany , but visible in the USA , you simply choose a VPN server located in the United States. Good VPNs have numerous other advantages, such as anonymizing your data and hiding your IP address , and they don't cost much in the premium package.
In order to be able to watch content blocked on YouTube with a VPN of your choice, you need to take out a subscription and install the VPN client. You also need a user account with the VPN service that you use to log in after installation. This is how the VPN recognizes your status and your subscription.
Once logged in, you can now configure the software or app, but in most cases you can also use the VPN with automated settings - in this case the software will search for the next available server. The VPN connection can usually be established with just one click - alternatively, you can choose a server location that you need to be able to access blocked videos.
We've rounded up the top performing VPNs :
CyberGhost CyberGhost is also suitable for bypassing the blocks on YouTube videos. The Romanian VPN provider is popular because of its uncomplicated installation and operation, scores with around 6,000 servers and can be switched on with one click. If you not only use YouTube, but also streaming platforms, you can benefit from particularly good bandwidth via special servers.
CyberGhost is also compatible with all common operating systems and even runs on Raspberry Pi and Chrome as well as numerous routers. You can test CyberGhost completely free of charge. This VPN currently offers discounts as a subscription, and you can also have CyberGhost for 2.50 euros per month.
ExpressVPN ExpressVPN is one of the fastest providers, the service runs on a total of 3000 high-speed servers in over 150 international locations. With ExpressVPN, you can break almost any YouTube block. The VPN is not only very fast, but also extremely compatible - it runs on many game consoles, Blackberry devices and Raspberry Pi.
Of course, this high quality also costs something - if you want to use the super-fast VPN, you have to dig a little deeper into your pocket with around 8 euros per month in an annual subscription than with other VPNs, but you really get a lot on offer.
PIA VPN PIA is the abbreviation for Private Internet Access. The American VPN provider can score points with more than 2,600 servers in almost 50 countries worldwide. Thanks to the unlimited bandwidth, video playback with PIA is no problem. The VPN client is compatible with the common operating systems Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux, but can also be used with extensions in many browsers such as Chrome and Firefox and as apps for the Android smartphone and iOS on the iPhone.
With PIA you can watch videos that are blocked on YouTube Germany, but you can also bypass country blocks for YouTube videos and music videos elsewhere - and that also for streaming offers. The VPN costs you with a subscription for two years only around 2.50 euros per month. And you can even pay for them with gift coupons from Walmart or Starbucks, for example, and thus remain completely anonymous.
VeePN VeePN is a new addition to the scene, but already has a large network of servers and convinces with high-quality encryption. VeePN can also be proud of its intuitive usability. The provider shows its strong side in circumventing geoblocking, so you can watch blocked YouTube videos in Germany as well as use numerous foreign locations for YouTube and streaming.
You can watch blocked videos on YouTube using Chrome with an extension or watch blocked YouTube videos with the Firefox add-on. VeePN costs only around 1.50 euros per month with a long-term subscription, making it one of the cheapest providers!
VPN provider comparison №2 use proxy website to unblock YouTube Proxy websites work a bit like a VPN - here too you will be redirected via the page and can watch the blocked YouTube videos. Proxies such as ProxTube or ProxFlow are known. However, the proxies do not hide your data or your IP address, so your activities remain visible to the ISP or the administrator in the company or school network!
№3 use browser extensions to watch YouTube Instead of always having to navigate through a proxy page, you can also use add-ons in the browser. These add-ons and plugins are available for applications such as ProxTube or Ultrasurf. They make it possible to configure a proxy server that is basically controlled. With ProxTube you can watch blocked YouTube videos on Firefox, but Chrome needs a plug-in for ProxFlow.
Use №4 Tor to watch blocked YouTube videos You can also unblock a video on YouTube with the anonymous Internet browser Tor. The browser can be downloaded and installed from the torproject.org website . The very secure browser not only gives you access to YouTube content, but also reliably hides your online activities through the redirects in the Tor network. The browser is used for online security, data protection and unrestricted data traffic, among others by users and activists in restrictive countries such as North Korea, China or Turkey.

🌸 Updates and FAQs for Watching the TGCF Donghua! 🌸
✴️First, check out my detailed guide HERE if you want to know how to subscribe to YouTube or Bilibili!
Please read through these if you have any questions first before sending in an ask, as it's probably answered here (or the previous guide)!!! If you don't see it here, or still have confusions afterwards, then feel free to send in an ask or DM me!
---
✨Important Notes/Updates✨
Bilibili is allowing non-members to watch for free! No region locks, and you don’t even need to make an account. Free watchers will be one week behind paid members. But this is a legal and free way to support the donghua if you’re unable to pay! (This actually means that you’ll be able to see the episodes faster and for free on Bilibili than you would on YouTube, because YouTube has a two week delay instead of just one week.)
Funimation is broadcasting TGCF in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. These are some of the regions which are blocked by YouTube, so this is an available alternative for those who don’t want to go through Bilibili. They have also stated they will launch in Mexico and Brazil this winter.
ALL broadcasts are in Chinese with hard-coded/embedded English and Chinese subs. (I.e., they come with the broadcast itself, on top of the image. Nothing to toggle on/off, they are automatically there.) They are the exact same across all the platforms.
Please support official releases so that we can get more seasons, and high quality! This is still niche content, believe it or not!

✨Frequntly Asked Questions✨
🔹GENERAL FAQs:🔹
1.) "Where is the best place to watch?"
I still reccomend Bilibili's native website/app over all other streaming platforms. This is due to some key points:
Bilibili's website/app gets the episode the very second they drop. There is no delay whatsoever. YouTube and Funimation have been delayed the last two weeks. It's unknown if this is just a hiccup or what, but if watching new episodes ASAP is important to you, going through Bilibili ensures you will not have to worry about any uncertainty.
Price breakdowns: Bilibili's website/app 3-month membership is $10-11 USD. Their YouTube channel's "MBBM Lv2" membership varies by region, but in many places is similar or just a tad more. In the US, the MBBM Lv2 membership and Funimation membership is the same price ($5.99 per month, or $17.97 for 3 months). So you can actually save some cash by going through Bilibili directly.
In the end, this is largely up to personal choice and comfort. Some people may find it difficult to navigate Bilibili's website even with guides and google translate's auto-translate feature. In this case, YouTube or Funimation are fine alternatives. If you also have an existing Funimation sub or plan to use it to watch other shows, then that's perfectly valid too. Similar with the MBBM lv2 sub on YouTube, especially if you want to use it to see other shows (e.g. Legend of Exorcism which is only English-subbed on YouTube).
2.) "Where do I watch for free?"
On Bilibili's website, you can watch episodes for free! You will be one episode behind paid members, but it's a legal way to support the donghua. You don't even need to create an account!
3.) "What episode will be airing when/where?"
Check out the table below for the differences in airing times. Time is 11AM China Time.*
Tumblr media
NOTE: Funimation is technically supposed to be the same as Bilibili members/YouTube MBBM Lv2, but the last few episodes have been delayed so I have no clue.... *Additionally, YouTube's episodes have been delayed by a little bit, but they've aired the same day.
4.) "How can I support the donghua?"
Free, on YouTube: Subscribe to Bilibili's YouTube Channel, give likes to TGCF videos/clips, and leave nice comments!
Free, on Bilibili: Everyone can follow the official TGCF account and page, plus leave likes on videos. All this following stuff requires you to have passed the Bilibili quiz to unlock levels: If you are lv2+, you can leave comments and give coins to offical TGCF videos. (Log in daily to get 1 coin/day if you're lv1+!) If you are lv4+, leave a good 5-star review!
Paid: Buy subscriptions to watch the donghua! Also, merchhhhh~

🔸YOUTUBE-RELATED FAQs🔸
1.) "What's the difference between Bilibili's YouTube Channel's MBBM Lv1 and Lv2 memberships?"
MBBM Lv2 allows you to watch the episodes on the same day as Bilibili's website broadcast.
MBBM Lv1 has new episodes delayed by one week, meaning you will be one episode behind the others. There actually is zero point in subscribing to MBBM Lv1 (unless you want to watch other subbed donghua) because you can watch the same content on Bilibili for absolutely free, since Bilibili is allowing non-members to watch TGCF one episode behind paid members.
You can also watch two episodes behind on YouTube.
2.) "If I have YouTube Premium/Red, do I still need a membership on Bilibili's YouTube page?"
Yes. YouTube premium is completely separate from the channel-specific memberships.
3.) "Are episodes simulcast on YouTube?"
While originally stated as being simulcast, there actually seems to be a bit of a delay on YouTube as of now. It's unclear if this will change with future episodes.
4.) "Do I need a VPN?"
If you are from one of the restricted countries, then yes, you'll need to use a VPN. You can still pay for the subscription as normal, and then use a VPN to watch the donghua. It will not affect payment.
---
🔹BILIBILI-RELATED FAQs:🔹
1.) "Do I need to take that 100-question quiz to sign up for Bilibili or the membership?!"
No, it's totally optional! You do not need it to either watch the free episodes or to buy a membership. It's only if you want to comment and stuff. It might make you think you gotta do it, or enter a code, but it's actually not needed. Check out THIS post for more info!!! (However, you may still want to do it in order to level up and eventually leave a nice review for the donghua!)
2.) "I'm only able to watch 6min on Bilibili's website when I watch from my phone. Do I need the app?"
You do not need the app. Switch your browser to Desktop Mode in order to watch the video in full.
Be sure to download a browser like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc that supports this mode if your native browser doesn't allow for it.
3.) "Can I get the app on iPhone/iOS?"
This depends on if you are in a country where the app is not region locked in the app store. If you're able to download it that way, great! If not, try using a VPN and setting your region to mainland China. It may work. APKs are not useable on iPhones, so unless you know how to sideload apps onto your device, you may be stuck with the app store only.
Do note that you might be unable to pay for a Bilibili membership through the app, depending on version, but you can always simply pay through the website and then use the app as normal. It will apply account-wide on all devices.
4.) "Why are there two versions of the app?"
One seems to be the international version, which is more basic and lets you pay via GooglePay/ApplePay. The other one seems to be made for mainland China, and allows you to even buy merchandise through it (Chinese address/bank acc required). Mostly, both have to be downloaded via APK on Android. But some iOS users have reported different versions of the app being available for them through the app store (namely the int'l ver, and some have said they can use a VPN to get the mainland one).
5.) "Is there any benefit to having the app over just using the website?"
Not really, no. With the app you can buy very cute hualian themed skins for your profile, though (if you have the mainland version of the app). Plus you can save videos for offline viewing.
6.) "Do I need to enter my area code for Bilibili when signing up/in?"
NO, you do not enter your area code in the phone number field. Select your country from the drop-down list and it will automatically consider your area code. (E.g. if you're in America, select 美国 and enter in your number like 5557779999.)
7.) "I didn't get to set a password when signing up, so how do I log into my Bilibili account after being logged out?"
Use the same phone number you did to sign up. Instead of a password, you'll enter in a one-time key that is sent to your phone via text message. (NOTE: some people have reported not receiving these messages, which may vary by phone carrier!)
Tumblr media
As mentioned above, don't include your area code when filling out your number.
Also, if you are signed in on the app on your phone, you can scan the QR code on the log-in page through the app.
8.) "How do I turn off the barrage comments filling up the video I'm watching?"
Select the little button that reads "弹" under the video:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Website vs App)
9.) Is the Bilibili subscription auto-renewing?
No, the 1-month (¥25), 3-month (¥68), 1-year (¥168) subscriptions will not automatically renew. They are a one-time payment only!
Notice that the renewing payments all say "连续" in front of them, which means "continuing" or "successive" types of subscriptions. They are also cheaper than the one-time payment. (E.g. the renewing 3-month sub is ¥45 instead of ¥68.) Moreover, the renewing types are not even available to purchase with PayPal, afaik. You need Alipay or WeChat Pay, etc.
10.) "Can I use the app/membership to read the manhua too?"
Unfortunately, not quite! Your Bilibili account is universal, but you'll need to download the manhua app seperately and topping up M-coins to pay for the manhua. (One-time purchases, either by volume or by chapter as per your choice.)
11.) "What resolutions are available?"
You can watch up to 480p as a free member. Paid members can watch at 1080p and high-bit-rate 1080p. It's possible to chromecast it to TV, too. (I haven't tried it, but others have!)
12.) "Can I watch across multiple devices?"
Yes, you can!
13.) "Do I need a VPN?"
No, Bilibili is not region-locked. However, some particular countries may have Chinese apps blocked.... :(
14.) "I want to leave a comment/review. How do I level up on Bilibili?"
Log in daily, watch at least one video per day, give coins (attained by logging in) to your fave videos, etc! It will definitely take a while haha.
15.) "Will I be able to watch other donghua like MDZS or SVSSS with my membership on Bilibili?"
No, those two donghuas are produced by TenCent, not Bilibili. You will need either a TenCent/WeTV account, or you can watch them on their YouTube channel (free).
---
🔸FUNIMATION-RELATED FAQs🔸
1.) "Is Funimation's broadcast a simulcast?"
It is supposed to be, according to their initial announcements. They seem to be having some technical difficulties, but those may be resolved soon. I suggest keeping an eye on their twitter for updates if you are interested in watching through them!
2.) "Do I have to pay extra on my Funimation sub to watch TGCF?"
No, afaik, the regular $5.99 sub covers TGCF too.
---
I hope this helps out people further, so we can all have an easy time watching the donghua! And please do support it legally! 🙏
If you still need help, feel free to send in an ask!

Let’s make this a strict parent’s thread
Ok, everyone with strict parents. I’m boutta top y’all. And let’s all suffer together, so reblog with your own wild rules you have to follow
Fellin bored, so I’m boutta flex and just go ahead and hand my parents the most controlling and manipulative strictest parents of all time award
I have never been allowed to go to anyone’s house unless they were family
That literally means that growing up, if I was even invited to a birthday party, my parents would not let me go
Not one of my friends have ever been allowed to come over
Up until Sophomore year, I had never hung out after school with my friends
I maybe ever went to one birthday party, for, like, an hour
My dad gave me his old tablet when I was 12. He put restrictions so I could not access any web browser, the app store, or download games intended for children 12 and up
I was twelve
We have an alarm on our door. Not a system generated alarm that notifies police if there is an intruder. Nope. An alarm. You open the door or window? Alarm
I’m not allowed to open my windows and have my door locked. And no, I have not been caught smoking before, or sneaking out. My room is on the third level
I am not allowed to have my phone or laptop in my room, ever
I am not allowed to wear leggings
I am not allowed to wear shorts
I am not allowed to wear tank tops
I can’t wear ripped jeans or crop tops
I can not wear short dresses or skirts without wearing leggings underneath them (which is why I stopped wearing them all together)
I can’t leave the house wearing a shirt that shows my shoulders
I have never been allowed to date, or even hang out with guys
My mom says she’s fine with my hanging out with boys, but one time, one of my guy friends dropped me off home after school (there were two other girls visible in the car) and my mom thought he looked like a ‘drug dealer’. I ended up getting grounded for a week
I was not allowed to wear makeup until I was 14
I literally do not have a curfew. Meaning, that I can be out of the house for maybe two or three hours before my mom drags my ass back in. God forbid I ask to stay out past 7
I can’t hang out two weeks in a row. I asked my mom once if I could hang out with my friends on Friday, and she said I was abusing her generosity because she had let me hang out with friends the Friday before
I literally can not even sit on our front porch because apparently I look like a ‘prostitute’
WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???
My mom makes me roll up my pads/tampons in toilet paper before throwing them in the trash bc the ‘men of the house’ don’t need to see that
the only one who cares is my misogynistic fuck of a father. I’ve asked my brother. He couldn’t give a shit
I can’t even say the word period out loud without getting yelled at
My phone and laptop both have internet restrictions on them, cause apparently, a fucking high schooler can’t be trusted on google
I literally have like 5 different VPN’s and Proxy’s downloaded on my computer
At 9, my WiFi cuts off. I’m the only one in the house who has to go through that
If I want an adrenaline rush, I go and ask my mom if I can hang out/ buy something. Get’s the heart beating real quick
Also works if I wanna be reminded of all the reasons why I’m such a failure and let down
I can’t spread my legs open wide while sitting down without my dad getting angry and yelling at me
On more than one occasion, my father has forced me to sit in the trunk of our car bc I did something to piss him off. The drive can range anywhere from 15 min to 3 hours. The first time he did this I was 9
Tbh this has started to become more of ‘reasons why my parents are such shitty people’ rather than ‘reasons why my parents are super strict’
There’s more, but Imma stop now.
If you got strict parents, add yours! Even if your parents are stricter, or not as strict as mine, it actually rlly helps to know that you’re not the only one in a wildly unfair and controlling household
P.S: Yes. I have broken almost every single one of these rules more than once. And yes. I have gotten in trouble. Trust me, I got the scars to prove it.
