My hopes for Doomsday

with all the awful things that came out of the MCU these past few year, This seams like a great way to make up for it. If this film is anything like what I talk about here.

If they’re gonna make Robert Downey JR Doctor Doom, At least have it like this. No Multiverse crap until when Doomsday is over. We need an Avengers that’s based in this universe alone before we do the Multiverse that 2 parts . And we still need to finish the Kang story with that 2 parter. So instead, Doom as taken Ironmans body as his own so he can be active again after the 60s since that Fantastic Four movie is set there, And World War 3 is a thing which America started in Black Panther 2. The Avengers feel responsible for all that since they haven’t Assembled since Endgame, So they try to make up for it by trying to stop the War being united as the Avengers once again, And Doom tries to stop them from doing that so the Earth‘s governments wipe out each other so he can be the sole ruler of the Earth. This is something Doom wants because Doom thinks he’s the only 1 capable and suitable of controlling the Earth. That’s bassicly what I want for Avengers Doomsday. And it would make for a unique superhero movie. Instead of the hero trying to stop them from villain from enacting his plan, The villain tries to stop the heroes enacting their plan. And it could make an emotional movie too because of Doom and his choice of host, they’re forced to fight their friend and the past face of the MCU to stop bad things happening to good people. Avengers Doomsday can be a nice film to end. Phase 5 on After all.

I pray all this comes to pass, And I hope they seeing this suggestion. Kevin too. Do you agree that this should come to past?

SPOILER REVIEW FOR THE MARVELS

Just got back from the theater, watched it with @that-coolllama and my mom :D 

This is all over the place but I'll try to keep it concise.

Let me start off things by saying I didn't have the biggest expectations from this movie. After watching it definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it! 

[ But TL;DR Plot Characters, and Comedy were awesome.  Couple of Scenes could have added stuff and  been a bit better. 8.5/10 ] 

Okay actual Review and Spoilers after the cut 👇

Things I liked!:

-I really liked the scene where Carol and Monica were attracted to the light like moths. That was really cool ,they just couldn't stop themselves from getting closer and touching it, human nature.

-Goose was so cute in the beginning!  SHE HAD BABIES which was fun. 27 I think. That scene that the kittens were eating all the ppl, hilarious.

-Kamala's family was a nice touch and were supportive, but didn't get in the way. Which was great :D Their duologue was natural.

-The beginning with Kamala's drawings was so fun!

-THE SINGING PLANET AND THE FACT THAT SHES MARRIED AND HER DRESSS AHHHHHHHH CAPTAIN MARVEL IS A PRINCESS?? is this based off something in the Comics? I need to see that. That world is cool and super creative. The universe is vast! Costume And Dance coordinators  worked real hard you can tell! 

-FIGHT SCENES UGH THE FIGHT SCENES. They were really good and well coordinated. I thought it would  be confusing but it wasn't :O. Especially after the training montage 💪

-The 3 Marvel Gals had awesome chemistry! All the dialogue felt so natural between them.

-Monica's Mom dying during the Blip is heartbreaking. Also seeing the background of the hospital in CHAOS was super interesting. I'm glad it is shown that  the Blip had an effect on  people's lives and not just. "a thing that happened oh well". Kinda reminds me of in Multiverese of Madness that guy tells Dr.Stange that his cat and brother died while he was blipped.

-The Skrull history is so heartbreaking. The Skrull REALLY can't catch a break huh :/ but it does create good world building & is interesting.

-THE END CREDIT SCENE THAT KAMALA IS ASSEMBING A YOUNG ANVENGERS TEAM?! AHHHH !!!!!

Moon Girl! And she has history with the Kree so yee

The Girl and Boy Vision (tho I don't think that would work in the MCU but who knows. Wanda is obviously alive and idk Visons could have backups or smth like that)

⭐ AND BRUNO CAN BE THE GUY IN THE CHAIR INVENTING STUFF

-The way the Kree Leader Villain just... disintegrated was crazy. Speaking of her, she was a pretty alright antagonist. I wouldn't go as far as to say that she was a villain since she was doing all this for a pretty good reason. Not that what she was doing was right, but from her perspective I understood where she was coming from.

Things I didn't like/could have used touch up: 

-The Special Effects were actual great and I didn't see any problem with it! except the scene where Monica and Kamala are falling in the sky. Other than that they were good throughout!

-Carol - "I caused a Civil War, the decay of a planet,  and the Skrull their Home"

Monica- " It's okay, we're family" 

LIKE GIRL NO IT IS NOT. okay actually I forgot why the AI was bad so maybe it was worth it but still ;-; 

-Out of all the sacrifices that one was a bitttt anti climactic. I think maybe the scene just suffered from being too short. Kamala and Carol should have been shown to react more. Still, was a pretty good sacrifice </3

-Definitely could have been longer. my brother mentioned how the ending kinda feels like a much of cut scenes just Frankenstein-ed together. And yeah and does kinda feel that way.

-Some things I would have loved to see- 

Like WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SINGING PLANTET?!!?!??

Another scene of Goose and her kittens would have been nice.

On the singing planet Carol was like " we need new clothes" and the Prince is like "k" and they just show up with new clothes? Like we didn't see them react to it or anything -_-. C'mon Kamala loving her boots would be such an easy comic book callback.

Kamala calling Bruno and Nakia. Like they were not mentioned once! T_T KAMALA YOU CAN'T FORGET WHERE U CAME FROM.

This may be that I haven't seen ALL the MCU stuff but where did the Skull go? If they have a home now are there Skull on Earth. WHY WASN'T ANYTHING FROM SECRET INVASION MENTIONED.

-Anyways-

-That X-Men End Scene. .... uh ... very interesting to say the least. I have not consumed ANY X-Men content but like to have them in a different timeline than the main MCU is a lil lame, but go off. Idk I'd like to hear the thoughts of anyone who has seen X-Men content.

Overall, I think the comedy, characters, & world building all fit perfectly. 

A 8.5/10 movie for me. Can't wait to rewatch it!!!!!

I remember Mary worked at Oscorp and took Peter to work and is bitten so she ships him to Tony because he's now sticky and eats a lot. A Part of The Team: Chapter 4

Bucky x reader

Based of this request: Hello! Would you mind doing a oneshot where Bucky and Reader just got married and he becomes more protective of her and sweeter and clingier and his team mates tease him about it ? 😅

I didn't edit this to the best of my ability because it is 4:30 am here as I drank coffee wayyyy too late in the day. So, please dont be mad. I hope you like it :)

Chapter 4

You chickened out. You were a big, fat, pathetic chicken. Plain and simple.

You were at the point where you had no other option but to tell Bucky, today. You had an ultrasound appointment in two days and he would be hurt if you told him just the day before, as if you initially planned to go without him or something. To be honest at this point, no matter what you do, he will probably be hurt, and that killed you, but there is only going forward.

So, you were a big girl and you told him, just in the most chicken way possible. You quickly scribbled a note that you left on the kitchen counter for him to be greeted with when he woke up, then ran out the door to go straight to the park.

‘Hey Buck, how are you? I am fine. Sorry I wasn’t there when you woke up. I went for a walk in the park. I will see you a little later. P.S. I’m pregnant.  Love, Y/N.’

Sweet and to the point. Right? Probably, wrong.

So, now you waited in the uncharacteristically, quiet park, seated on an overused bench on its last leg, just waiting for your husband to call you. After it hit 12 noon, you became increasingly concerned. Your husband did not sleep in late. Some nights it was hard to get him to sleep at all. So, unless one of the team saw the note and hid it for some devious reason, there was no way Bucky hadn’t seen it.

You had your phone tightly secured in your left pant pocket, so it was not as if he couldn’t reach you if he wanted. Maybe it hurt him more than you thought, maybe to the point where he would divorce you and your unborn child.

No wait, that wasn’t Bucky. He could hate you, even if unlikely, and would still be there for your child. So, what the hell was going on? Why hadn’t he called you?

You had been gone for three hours, so you would have to go back eventually. You hadn’t brought your purse, so you couldn’t even get a cup of decaf coffee if you wanted to, and now you were getting hungry. You were eating for two, right? That had to merit the amount of pasta you were eating lately, you were sure.

After 15 more minutes, you gave up. It took you 5 minutes to get back to the tower, and that was taking your time. Absorbing every second you had to try and figure out what to tell Bucky. You were a bit thankful that you had to go to the top floor, as you would be given as much time as possible to settle your scattered thoughts.

Elevator door opening, you took one last deep breath and stepped onto the dark hardwood floor. The plan was to go straight to your bedroom to find your husband and explain why you had done what you had, when you heard the unique voice of the one and only Captain America, your best friend. Your instinct was to run the other way because you knew he was talking to one very specific person, but you knew that if that was your initial thought, then it was surely the wrong one, so you turned the corner and slowly headed down the stairs to the living room where you would inevitably have the conversation you were incredibly nervous to have.

And there he was, beautiful, bright blue eyes and puffy lips, both stained with confusion that you were unsure how to handle, but completely understood.

Neither had noticed you, so you stood to the side and waited for Steve to finish his encouraging talk.

“Bucky, it’s fine. You don’t need to be scared of this. You’re gonna be an amazing father and you have Y/N to parent with. You have her at your side. You couldn’t ask for anyone better.”

“But, why this way?”

“I don’t know, but I’m sure she was just nervous to see your reaction. She knows you even better than I do and knows that with everything you have been through, you would be hesitant to the idea of all of this. It makes sense, my friend.”

Bucky raked his long fingers through his silky hair. “Yea, I suppose you’re right.”

“And let’s be honest. This kid is not just going to have the two of you as parents. No matter how you want it, this is the first baby born into the team, so her or she is going to get…” Steve paused, you assumed to count the number of team members. It was hard to keep track, the group seemed to be growing all the time. “…nine extra parents, give or take.”

Bucky had no choice but to smile and neither did you. Steve was able to sum up exactly how you were feeling and the words you didn’t know how to get past your lips in order to portray your thoughts. But, no matter how much you appreciated what he had said, it was now your turn.

“Bucky…”

Both men turned to you and their eyes lit up, Bucky’s sparkled just a little more. A smile spit his face and you knew it was instinctual, just as he had once told you. No matter his emotion, he just couldn’t seem to help it. You returned it as best you could before speaking again.

“Bucky, I’m sorry I told you this way, it was wrong, I shouldn’t’ve…”

He stood and was instantly in front of you, hands moving to your upper arms before sliding down to tread his finger between yours.

“Sweetheart, it’s ok. I promise. I just…I’m not sure…”

“Bucky,” You said, locking your eyes with his. “You are going to be good at this.”

“How could you be sure, Doll?”

You smiled and chuckled and squeezed his hands slightly before standing on your tiptoes and placing your lips next to his ear. “Just think of your baby as a mini Steve.”

He pulled back to meet your eyes again with his eyebrows all scrunched together. “Well, that’s only slightly odd.”

You chucked once more. “You know what I mean. Bucky, you know how to do this. You know how to be there for someone and at the end of the day, what our child will need is support, love, protection, and someone to help him or her get though the tough times.”

You removed your right hand from his and placed it on his scruffy cheek. “All things you are very good at, Mister. You might have to remind yourself every once and a while, but when you forget, I’ll be there to tell you again.”

He turned his head, to kiss the skin of your palm. “You’re wonderful, you know.”

“See, there you go. It’s instinctual.”

He chuckled, finally, and you took it as a success. Then, he leaned down to place his soft lips on yours.

listen i know we're all very excited and also confused about episode 4 but am i the only one sad about the implications that carol, basically Monica's second mother, just never knew about her daughter being gone or her best friend (wife) being dead??
