I went to a local yarn store for the first time, and while I was there, somebody was talking about getting a beginner's knitting kit, and she inquired about when lessons were, and when she was told that they'd be happy to sit down with her and teach her, she was so delighted. She talked about how excited she was and how much she wanted to learn to knit, and it just... it made me fall in love with humanity. It was this pure, unadulterated happiness coming from somebody and it was so genuine and kind, and I couldn't help but smile.

I guess all of this is to say... every moment, there are tiny little joys like this all over the world, and it makes this life worth living. I hope you witness and feel joy this simple, this pure.

I just think nina would be soooooo complicit in johan's yandere tendencies with his darling. She'd be so worried, but at the same time, this is the closest she ever got of her brother finally making a friend, much less having a freaking crush on someone, after pleading and forcing him to try to form connections with people and to do something for himself in his life. So not only is she letting it slide, but she's lowkey encouraging it as well, softly making you turn a blind eye as she comforts you, and tries to suggest you just brush off his behaviour for now... he just cares about you— a lot! And that's really rare for him! So... how about... how about you don't worry about that for now, and just... just try to understand that he really likes you, okay? She's sure his talks of making you move in with him so early is just... the kind of cute boyfriend talk when they're enamored? It's just his way of showing how much he wants you around... there, there, he really just likes you.

i love how in the little bits we’ve seen of part 2 that we’re (finally) seeing more of Penelope’s relationship with the other Bridgertons. Even if it’s just implied little moments like Anthony being upset over Colin hinting that he’s compromised Pen, enough that Benedict makes his little joke about him dueling his own brother or how Violet, Francesca and Hyacinth react to Polins engagement. Like Hyacinth runs for Pen over her brother, hugs her long enough for Colin to comment on it and she goes to hug her a second time bc she’s so excited Pen will be her sister.
