So my crafting project is (mostly) finished! I forgot to take pics before giving them as gifts though oops lol.

Anyway, for the holidays I had decided months ago to make my DND group drawstring bags. I made one to hold my dice when I first started playing in this game (my first), and I made it to fit the mood in my head for my character. Everyone kept complimenting it over the sessions, so I thought “maybe they’d like their own.”

Finding fabric in patterns I felt fit their characters/personalities was a bitch for some of them, especially as two kinds was - not needed but best. I did manage it eventually though!

Anyway, I got all but one of them done in time for today’s game. We haven’t met since… mid-late October I think? A couple months.

I did not plan to be moving the same time I was needing to make them, hence the rushing on my part.

I made a lot of mistakes - some just from not paying attention to what I needed to do, some because a specific fabric was a bitch to work with, some because of technical issues. But what was cool for me that each time I either learned how to undo and redo my work, or figured out a workaround! I even learned a bit of a handy trick for making it a bit easier to line up the two squares of fabrics that get stitched together, and I got a lot better at sewing the circle bottoms.

And I am proud of them! They’re not super fancy or anything, but everyone was so delighted by them that I felt incredibly pleased with the work. I only wish I HAD remembered to take pictures. Oh well.

I still have one more to finish up. I’m seeing that friend again soon, and I had another gift to give them from my mom anyway. Might make myself a new/second bag, too….

It could be endometriosis etc. A new thing I learned is our hormones could be imbalanced by chemicals we're unconsciously exposing ourselves to, which in turn, sometimes, has been known to cause cysts etc. I can’t stress enough the importance and heavily impactful it is to fix imbalanced hormones�� so many doctors don’t know this and won't look into it further and do tests and will just throw medication at us and suggest we have our ovary/overies and/or uterus removed when really we never should’ve needed to…

I'm not sure if the dog was also allergic to bee stings, but she hated bees with a fiery passion, reserved for no other creature, that I feel could only have come from being stung.
