working in schools is such an interesting experience because the last time I was in an elementary school I was well. an elementary schooler. and I was leaving today and the halls were empty but maybe it was just the way the sun was shining thru the windows but I was reverted back to such a specific feeling in childhood when it was the last day of school before summer break and the halls were empty and the sun was shining outside and it was just this blissful memory for a moment

I'm really considering digging back out my sketchbook to try and draw a scene that happened in last night's Pathfinder session.

So I'm playing a Goblin lady, her name is Amaryllis and I love her, and one of the other PCs is a half-orc half-dragon - Aela - who is very tall. Ama also has a familiar that is a tiny polar bear cub and his name is Nanook.

We were trying to get to town, and since Aela is so tall and walks so much faster, she just picked Ama up and put her on her shoulders, and because he wants to feel included, Nanook peeked out of Ama's backpack and started patting her head like bongos.

Our other party member - a tiny fae mothwoman named Wick - also rode on Aela's shoulder too. Our GM affectionally called it: The Totem Pole.
