Simon Fairchild is such a fun character. The way he just strolled into the archives, laughing quietly to himself. I’ve been waiting to meet this guy since I heard his voice actor do the ad reads in s1. His voice and how he carries himself gives off a certain lightness. It’s that carefree attitude that I’d like to see more of.

There’s something hilarious and heartbreaking about what Martin and Simon said. Martin says that their time on earth matters even if it ends one day. It reminds me of that quote that people use when talking about the finale. The love was there. It didn’t change anything but it mattered that it was there, something like that. Simon responds to that statement in the same way that I’ve always thought about that quote. He says that it’s a lonely way of looking at things.

Simon’s viewpoint makes sense for how he is. It’s easy to be so carefree when the world is devoid of meaning. How scary it must be to love, knowing that love will one day end. How brave it must be to love despite knowing that. I often find myself in the middle of those two viewpoints. I know that the finale will be beautiful but, if I were in their shoes, I couldn’t help but wonder if any of it was worth it in the end.

looking to the sky and only seeing 6-7 stars when there are billions being drowned out by city lights is so bleak. i can either live in an urban area full of potential people like me, people who i can love fully and befriend, or live completely isolsted but with the comfort of a sky full of stars.

the poets come and go the first day, and they all have very different reactions. charlie’s angry (but at who?), knox is scared, pitts and meeks are confused, and cameron is struck speechless; why can’t any of them look him in the eyes? they act awkward, skittish around him almost. treating him like something too delicate. like something to be locked up and put away.

but todd? he understands. out of everyone, why does he understand the most? he should be scared, upset, angry, and speechless, being neil’s own roommate and best friend; but, he wasn’t. he smiled at him, tear tracks stained his face, visible when the fluorescent light hit them the right way. sure he should have been all those things at first (it should have been amplified seeing the condition neil was in) but he was calm. like he knew he would be okay. because he would be, eventually.

Do you ever watch a Show for mentally ill Bitches (Euphoria/Skins/Bojackhorseman/thirteen reasons why/Shameless/Baby/Speak/The end of the fucking world/speak/to the bone....I think you guys get it) and then something hits too close to home so you need to turn it off and need to watch a diff Show for like a Week so you wont end up like you used to be or is that just a me thing?💌

If I had seen Bojack Horseman more recently than 4 years ago (between march and june 2020) I could probably also make a list of similarities between House and Bojack. because I apparently have a type of character. Three hands meme but it's House, Bojack, and Archer.
