Couldn’t get this idea out of my head after being a political tv show binge. So we’ve got maxiel in a political au
For all the modernity and progress that the country claims one things remains true — the people don’t elect just a candidate, no they elect the entire family.
They don’t want some bachelor. It is not a sign of commitment to one’s career, but an indicator of a man that could think with his cock and have bastard children while at the highest level of public service. It is an indicator of a man that could bring ruin and shame to the most sacred position.
They want a family man. A man who is happily married with the perfect partner to bear his children. That is a sign of maturity and commitment. An indicator that he is settled.
And more so, it is an image that the people can project their own thoughts and beliefs onto. A family that can distract the public from the harsh realities of governing and politics.
It is not just politics and connections that get you elected, but also the perfect family that the people can fall in love with.
Max Verstappen fits all the qualifications for a great candidate — the perfect candidate even. Except for one tiny little thing in his opinion, but a major hurdle according to his campaign manager, Sebastian.
Max Verstappen is about as single as they come. With two cats he adores more than anything and no partner, Max does not apparently have the makings of a winning candidate.
“So just because I am not married, I cannot become president?” Max questions. His actual presidential run is still a few years away, but the framework needs to be laid out years ahead.
The presidency is all that Max has ever wanted. Every moment in his life is meant to culminate towards that. And now one tiny little detail about his life could prevent it.
“Essentially yes. Voters want someone they can love. A bachelor is not easy to love, but a family? Well that is very easy to love and root for,” Sebastian says. “But… should you not want to find a partner… on your own… there are avenues we can take,” he says, carefully picking his words.
“How?” his dad asks.
“We’re in the nation’s capital. There is no shortage of people well aware of and willing to commit to a political marriage that could be beneficial for both parties involved,” Sebastian replies, giving his dad a knowing look.
“Of course, and you have a short list?” his dad questions.
“There is a list and it is quite short,” Sebastian replies vaguely.
____
The list is two people.
A man and woman — both brunette, older, and carriers. His dad suggests the woman, he’d known her father years ago. Sebastian suggests the man.
“Daniel is… well loved in the wealthy circles in this part of the country. Personable with everyone, not just the wealthy.”
“Then we go with Daniel,” Max agrees. Sebastian hadn’t led him wrong so far in his career and he doubted that the man would ruin it all as they neared a presidential run.
Sebastian’s team makes their story. As it turns out, they have quite a few mutual friends. It’s easy to make up a story of one of them introducing them and a secret romance blooming away from Max’s political career and Daniel’s preferred social circles.
Just a week before their first public appearance as a couple, Max meets Daniel for the first time. And Daniel is… well he understands why Sebastian would suggest him.
Daniel is like something come out of Max’s deepest fantasies.
“The future president, huh?” Daniel questions.
“It’s going to be a big commitment,” Sebastian says.
“I’ll play the part, as long as my conditions are met,” Daniel tells them.
“Conditions?” Max inquires.
“We hyphenate names. This will be my legacy as much as it is yours. There are certain policy issues on which I would like a say, Seb knows. I will not become some political breeding machine. We have three kids maximum and they have to be at least 2-3 years apart. And when you make it to the presidency, I will not stand for any cheating/sex scandal. Keep it private if you must, but the moment it makes national news, I’ll be gone with any kids we have in tow and telling everyone how you wronged me,” Daniel answers.
They’re not the most unreasonable conditions, but Max does have his concerns about the second and fourth conditions. “I will ensure that those are followed,” Sebastian answers before Max can say anything.
“Perfect, now I have to go. The ambassador from Monaco is visiting,” Daniel tells them, getting up from the sofa he had been sitting on. “Seb, do come to dinner. I’m sure the ambassador would love to pick at your brain again, amongst other things,” he adds.
“Should we not practice being the loving couple for next week?” Max asks.
“Oh darling, there’s no need,” Daniel replies, giving him a sleazy grin as his eyes trail over Max. “I’ll be the adoring partner that everyone expects of a senator hoping to run for president. You’re easy on the eyes. Now toodles poodles, can’t keep Sharlie waiting at the airport lest he run off in some strangers car again,” Daniel is gone within seconds. Leaving Max alone with Sebastian and a hundred questions about his husband to be.

Hii! Can I requests ur Yan-ocs with an Ace reader? That doesn’t exactly like physical touch or any of that sort?
YEP Absolutely, I needed to fulfill this request because I want to finish a full fic for another person but feel a little burnt out. As someone who might be acespec I get it (more so ace than aro).
People under 17 fuck right on off (politely of couse)!
Also, not all the yanderes will be super accepting, just a heads up because I think that their personalities determine their level of openness to darling being ace.
Macchiato:
Hates this as a stage five clinger. She will never blame you for being this way though, she loves you too much! Doesn't care about sex as long as you are comfortable being with her. She will try and find out what touch you are comfortable with and smoother you with that kind of touch. Will also be fine cuddling the crap out of a pillow as long as it smells like you. One of the better ones in my opinion.
Espresso
Is the best one to have in this situation because I believe Espresso is ace himself. Never was one for touch and would only endure it if you wanted it. Since you don't like physical touch Espresso will focus on any other love language you might like. He personally is fond of gift giving and quality time (both giving and receiving).
Donut:
THE. FUCKING. WORST. Worse than Macchi, Matcha and Cocoa. What do you mean you're ace? Isn't that not real? After some explaining Donut does understand but that doesn't mean he likes it. How else is he meant to show he cares when his beloved doesn't want to touch him? He thinks it cruel to deprive him of your loving touch. Bends as many boundaries as he can without you getting fed up and leaving. However, when it comes to others touching you, he screams at them about you hating touch. Very much 'touches for me but not for thee' mentality.
Sugar:
One of the most mature with handling this situation, will sit down and discuss boundaries and comfort levels. She adores you and would never want to make you feel uncomfortable in any way. Will even discuss in an age-appropriate way to Cookie and Muffin why Baba doesn't like to be touched. Sugar knows better than anyone that sex doesn't equal romance as she got pregnant from a one-night stand. Doesn't have the highest sex drive but if you are willing to do it, she will guide you in a night of pleasure. Will find other fun activities that both of you enjoy, let her love you and everything will be fine.
Cookie and Muffin:
Legit children and don't understand asexuality at all. When you explain you don't like being touched, they say okay and continue holding your hands. Sugar does get them to somewhat understand why you don't like being touched but the kids still mess up from time to time. Kids are clingy mofos and Cookie and Muffin are no different. They will bite adults that touch you in a way they deem incorrect, they're feral but lovable.
Croissant:
Researches everything about the ace spectrum and asks tons of questions. What kind of touch is acceptable? How long have you known? Do you still feel comfortable around him? Biggest and dorkiest ally to be found. Will share asexual facts with you that you might not know (you probably do). Will ask for consent before even entering your personal space. If you feel less comfortable with skin-on-skin contact, Croissant will start wearing more sweaters even in July. He will suffer if there's a slight chance you will embrace him.
Cocoa:
Damn that's rough buddy but directed at her. Clingy Mcgee will have to modify her approach a bit. She would never want to make her best friend uncomfortable in any way, shape or form. Will catch herself trying to grab your arm to get your attention and apologize profusely. Hopes you still want to hang out with her even though she slips up sometimes. Will shield you from any unwanted touches from the other cafe workers and curse them out.
Matcha:
Completely understands you not wanting to touch them, I mean they're so gross and you're so perfect. A deity such as yourself should not be worried about the common people, no you should be untouchable. Makes it weird real fast, like good you understand but quit moaning each time you get a head pat. May break your boundaries in hopes of being hurt but respects your wishes in general.
Shopkeeper:
Is neutral to it as they love you as you are. They would think it was adorable if you did cling to them but aren't devastated that you don't like touch. I personally think Shopkeeper is demi sexual, so they understand you not experiencing sexual attraction (even if they are sexually attracted to you). May tease you about being so "cold" to their advances. People who violate your minimal touch policy will end up in Shopkeeper's kitchen, and not come out.
Cappuccino:
Does not care, just not in a good way. Not about the asexual bit just the touch bit. They will nap on you whether you like it or not, you are their pillow. They will sit on you if it means you will stay (They're chonky so good luck getting out of there). Otherwise, they still want you by their side. Also not wanting sex is a win for them since they are too lazy to do anything.
Butch:
Butch would be concerned. Did someone traumatize you in childhood? Has someone touched you? You explain that's not the reason you're ace, and he relaxes. He does miss the idea of holding you close but knows he's not worthy of it (especially if he kidnapped you). You may have made this guard dog more overprotective over you as anyone who tries to touch you will receive a warning growl.

The TF 141 Compatibility Love Report
For: @stuffireadandenjoy
Disclaimer:
This is based on my personal opinion and interpretation of you and the character. the user makes no claims to be a real doctor or any medical professional. All court requests will be responded to by a hired mariachi band singing a beautiful rendition of N.W.A's 'Fuck Tha Police' (please don't sue me :^)
The Doc says your TF 141 Perfect Match is…
Kate 'Watcher-1' Laswell!
Romance: I didn't just choose Kate because she's perfect for you, but because YOU are perfect for HER! She's patient and mature, the perfect partner to truly appreciate the complexities of your brain!
Kate is often used to maintaining order and polite distance from others in order to come out on top when shit hits the fan. In a partnership with her, you'd both get to be free to be messes with each other. The way you'd lean on the other is all trust and the desire to grant the other just a lil more sweetness.
Kate holds her cards close to her chest and her love for her people even closer. She'd be the type to tease you about the thing that's (rightfully) working you up and will think about how she can make everything right in your world. God help the person who makes you frown because she may not look like it but she takes her grudges to the next level.
Kate isn't showy, she's the definition of fortitude though. She'll thumb her fingers across your cheek and remind you to take a break. She's watching to make sure you haven't forgotten to eat and surprise you with an intimate staycation where it's just you two against the world.
You would be the only one in her life to convince her to make an ass of herself and just do silly things just for the hell of it! She'd never get tired of seeing that look in your eyes when you make her sit down for a Jurassic Park marathon (she'll never admit to enjoying them lest you tease her about it!) Romance with Kate is holding hands at the bookstore, kisses beneath awnings when you're soaked to the bone from the rain, shared bubble baths where you take turns reading poetry.
Sex: Passion, passion, passion! Kate wants every time to feel like magic on fire. She's attentive and watchful (ha get it?) she wants to know every nerve in your body and which one makes your breath hitch when she kisses it.
Kate is not afraid to be demanding and after some time and utter devotion she'd be more than happy to trust you with taking the wheel on things. On the days she's completely spent and unable to communicate the weight on her shoulders making you feel good is what centers her every time.
Possible points of Contention:
Long working hours and extra secretive :(
So incredibly stubborn (can be bribed with kisses)
fighting over closet space she needs room for her loafers
Your Poly Pairing (haha) is….
KateGaz- Both are intellects of the highest degree and unbelievably good in the moral sense. Being with them would be the most electric experience as they make an effort to always communicate and be present. Kate would be a buffer for Gaz's more petty side during game nights and Gaz will whisper what cards Kate's holding when he's inevitably kicked out of the game. If you like your partners to be loving, affectionate and perceptive of your needs, this poly pairing is perfect for you!!

Twilight and Its Ever-Changing Directors—Why Catherine Hardwicke’s is The Best.
Twilight is one of my top three favorite films and was my introduction to fan culture. My stepmom was an avid fan, taking my sister and me to the midnight premieres, playing the original soundtrack on the way to school, and reading each book as they were released. Every fall, I enjoy revisiting my favorite characters as part of my Halloween tradition. While my love for the series is unmatched, there are things I wish were different. Like many fans, my biggest gripe with the franchise is the constant change in style, which primarily comes down to the director changes between films. There is no doubt that Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight was the best. Her 2008 adaptation was the most well-received among all the films by critics, as it ranked highest according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Hardwicke’s understanding of teenagers demonstrated in films like Thirteen and Lords of Dogtown, made her the perfect choice for Twilight. Summit, the producer of Twilight, approached her after recognizing her knack for exploring the complexity of teenage emotions. Hardwicke agreed to direct and, despite a modest $4 million budget, she created the beloved film starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Blue, dreamy, moody, and romantic, the first Twilight aesthetic became iconic, thanks to Hardwicke’s indie film sensibility. Unlike other adaptations of the time, Twilight felt more intimate—its hushed dialogue, early 2000s fashion, and on-location filming only added to its charm. Following its release, Twilight grossed $393 million worldwide. Following its success, Summit wanted a sequel as soon as possible, giving Hardwicke less than a year to create and direct New Moon. Hardwicke argued against execs, which ultimately ended in Summit abandoning her to find someone who would meet their demands.
In 2009, New Moon was directed by Chris Weitz, and the remaining three films were also helmed by male directors. Although the sequels enjoyed box office success, critically, they fell short compared to Hardwicke’s original vision. Hardwicke expressed her opinion on this choice of directors, saying: “[it was] a heartbreak for me. There are other badass women out there that could have done those.” The absence of a woman's perspective is evident in the remaining films.
Weitz was still finishing New Moon when Eclipse began filming, leading David Slade to take over as director. Previous to Eclipse, Slade solely directed gritty and disturbing films like Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. Summit chose Slade because of this, hoping he would create a “complex, visually arresting world,” as they described it in their 2009 official press release. While Slade brought a darker tone to Eclipse, the film suffered in its portrayal of Bella, who seemed more passive and confused, caught between Jacob and Edward. This shift in focus, from the internal struggles of the characters to more surface-level action sequences, is where the magic of the first film began to dissipate.
In Hardwicke’s Twilight, Bella’s perspective of Forks is misty and lulling, reflecting her remembrance of the town from when she was a child. There's a certain awe to Forks, the Cullen family, and budding romance between Edward and Bella. Even amid conflict, there was a lingering sense of wonder. As the films progressed, however, that distinct storytelling faded. The blues become auburn and shift to gray, much like the narrative. Some might argue this reflects the maturing of the theme, but I believe it reflects the later directors’ lack of connection to the source material. Hardwicke and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg fought to give Bella more agency and have her be a “little less passive than she was in the book,” as Hardwicke described. Rather than focusing on the internal and emotional conflict the main characters face, later directors indulge more in the action of the books.
Despite the disappointing predecessors to the first film, Hardwicke remains positive about her work on the Twilight set. “As a director, you work so hard; you pour your heart into so many projects; some of them get made, some of them never get made,” Hardwicke explained. “This one got made, and people loved it and appreciated every little detail. I mean, people are wearing the shoes that Bella wore and asking how you chose this and that, and they really care about the love and attention that filmmakers put into it.” Even though she wasn’t able to continue directing the series, her impact on the franchise is enduring and continues to be admired by fans.
In the end, while the saga might have evolved in ways that didn’t always meet my expectations, Twilight will always hold a special place for me. And every fall, I return to Forks, finding comfort in the nostalgia and magic of that first film.

twenty questions for fic writers
tagged by @tetrapod7! thanks man, this was a fun one.
1. how many works do you have on ao3? 17 on my current account. there's more on my old one and obviously that doesn't count everything i published on other platforms (livejournal, ff.net) in the ancient days, lol
2. what's your total ao3 wordcount? again just on the wolfspider account, 168,153. i cant tell if that feels low or high to me
3. what fandoms do you write for? right now, just wild hrpf. in the past it's been mostly anime and various cartoons.
4. top five fics by kudos: i'm hitting the skip button on this because like. wrt my own work i think it's not a very good metric of EITHER how popular those stories actually were OR the quality of them; they're mostly the TUA ones and im chalking that up to that fandom being Huge when i was active. my most kudos'd fic of all time is still how much was mine to keep, though, and i think that one holds up.
5. do you respond to comments? i try to now. i went through a long phase of not engaging with comments due to Social Anxiety and also being kind of fed up with the hyper-combative culture in the fandoms i was in. like i wanted to just yeet my work out there and be done with it. in hrpf fandom i'm actually interested in the community aspect though so ive been trying to get over myself and respond as best i can.
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? the brodsfabes time loop fic, hands down. it's weird because as a reader i am um. not very into unhappy endings or unconsummated angst but every once in a while when i'm writing i'll get into a Mood and write something viscerally upsetting. anyway that one was pretty clearly me processing some grief that was happening in my real life, lol.
7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? probably entangled, from my spiderverse days. ngl i kind of hate it now though so let's move on from this. i think most of my fic has happy or at least ambiguously-positive endings, though.
8. do you get hate on fics? only one time ever and it was someone complaining that a ship i tagged for wasn't present in the story after One Chapter so. we're discounting that one. i've been pretty lucky!
9. do you write smut? yeah. my relationship with writing pornography ebbs and flows, like. sometimes i'll be really into it but sometimes i'll just stick a sex scene into a story where i feel like it's the least interesting thing that happens because people expect it and aren't going to read a romance that isn't leading up to that. i'm a horrible pervert and building up to a sex scene is an easy way to give your story a climax (...in multiple senses of the word) though so. why not.
10. craziest crossover: i don't write crossovers but if i did it would be the insane one ive been thinking about lately where the minnesota wild are stuck in the dungeon from dungeon meshi
11. have you ever had a fic stolen? not to a degree that i can prove it but part of the reason i left TUA fandom was somebody, in my opinion, ripped off large chunks of one of my fics and did just enough massaging of the language to make it defensible as Not Plagiarism. ruined the whole experience for me though.
12. have you ever had a fic translated? no, i think that would be one of the highest honors i could receive as a writer though. i wish i knew enough of a second language to translate my own work, but i'm still at like a kindergarten level in japanese so that will. Not happen.
13. have you ever co-written a fic before? tried to once with someone i am no longer friends with, it was a disaster. never gonna do that again. i am just too much of a control freak to relinquish any amount of creative decisionmaking i think.
14. all time favorite ship? don't have one! i tend to like hyperfixate on one ship for anywhere from one month to a year and a half and then when the brain juice runs out im Done and i never want to think about this concept again. im giving check please jackparse a point for being a ship i can read about post-fixation without getting bored but other than that. right now it's 725, in the future, who can say.
15. what's a wip you want to finish but never will? [stares at my overflowing gdocs draft folder. stares at the camera] i do not see it
16. what are your writing strengths? i like my prose, most of the time, and i think i'm pretty good at descriptive writing and like, internal character voice. sometimes i can accidentally stumble into excellent pacing
17. what are your writing weaknesses? INTENTIONALLY good pacing. writing dialogue that sounds like a human said it and not a sitcom character. i'm decent at line-by-line editing but awful at structural editing. recently ive become aware that i tend to subconsciously reuse certain plot beats a lot.
18. thoughts on dialogue in another language? like anything else, there's a way to do this that's fine and interesting and a way to do it that's insultingly terrible and it all depends on intent and execution. like if you're peppering in phrases in a second language just to show off that a character Is Foreign, don't do that. try to do it in a way that's realistic for how people talk. do it purposefully, i suppose
19. first fandom you wrote in? god dude i do NOT remember this was literally 21 years ago but probably either naruto or fullmetal alchemist.
20. favorite fic you've written? probably one of the unpublishable ones tbh. or the time loop one again. honestly i really like all my hrpf work, ive been putting out some bangers lately. it's nice to feel like ive been growing as an ~artist~ or whatever.

buncha words about buncha spring animes
I've had a bit of a break from anime for a last couple of years but I spontaneously decided to watch some new things from this season and now have a burning need to share my opinions with strangers on the Internet. Enjoy!
Hell's Paradise (eps. 1-3) - I read the first volume of the manga some time ago and remember thinking it was pretty cool and could be even cooler animated. Lo and behold, here we are. Now, I have a bit of a problem with shounen anime. I used to gobble battle shounens up like they were spaghetti but I just don't enjoy them as much anymore. Still, this one looks like it could be a good fun. I love the creepy imagery and vibrant colours of the island, especially when contrasted to toned down colour palette of the first two episodes. I'm also excited for how the characters will not only fight each other but also the hostile environment. There could be some nice juicy drama in future episodes. I'm not entirely sold on the main characters on their own yet (I think of all the spring shows I've watched, they might be the least engaging leads) but I like them conceptually, so to speak - Gabimaru being a wife guy is very sweet and really humanizes him and Sagiri... well, I'm not entirely sold on her subplot but she's a sword chick. Love me some sword chicks. And I like her design, too!
My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999! (eps. 1-3) - I'm surprised how much I enjoyed this one, I'm not a big fan of romance, rom-com, slice-of-life, and so on. This show reminds me of Bofuri, or at least scratches some similar itches. See, I played one MMO game a lot when I was a kid (I still come back to it sometimes when I feel nostalgic) but I've never been particularly good at it. Seeing anime about people playing games in an unusual way, not power-gaming their way to the highest level but instead messing around with their friends just reminds me of good ol' times. That said, I enjoy other things about this series as well. For one, it's very funny. For two, almost all characters are terrible but in a very relatable way and I kinda love them. I'd like the romance to be mostly built on the characters' personal growth, I get a feeling it could be a very satisfying story if it goes that way. But even if it doesn't, it could still be a nice little series.
Oshi no Ko (eps. 1-2) - Man, watching that first episode sure was An Experience. We went from an old guy being creepy about teenage girls to this weird breast-feeding scene, then to some really interesting insights into idol industry (and show-biz in general) and THEN to the finale, AND THEN to what the actual plot will be? I'm still a bit on the fence to be honest but I'd lie if I said I weren't intrigued. I think the character writing and visuals are amazing. Ai's characterisation in particular was phenomenal. You know how you sometimes watch a series where all the characters talk about this one supposedly super charismatic and special person but you just roll your eyes because you don't see any of it? That is definitely NOT the case here. I couldn't take my eyes off her, there is just something so hypnotizing about the way she's animated. That said, I'm not a fan of humour and dialogues here. I don't like how everything is spelled out and nothing is left up for interpretation (I have similar problem with Hell's Paradise, by the way). But those are minor flaws and I definitely want to see how the story unfolds.
Heavenly Delusion (eps. 1-3) - Frankly, I think this the best show from this season that I've watched so far. The characters are likeable and they have a fun dynamic, the setting is interesting and it's presented very well (they're showing, not telling and all that), the dialogues are natural sounding and the visuals are gorgeous. There are some things I wish weren't here but I'm willing to look past them (at least for now) because the rest is so solid. So I say this is 'the best' show but is it my favourite? Hard to say. The thing with mystery shows like that is that it's very possible that once all the mysteries are solved, there won't be much else to enjoy. Also I'm a bit wary of where Kiruko's plotline is going. I really hope this series is good. Sadly, often anime that I think is going to be the best of the season doesn't deliver in the end and leaves me sulking and disappointed. That said, Heavenly Delusion is based on a manga and the manga is apparently good, so maybe all these worries are unfounded.
and finally Skip and Loafer (eps. 1-3) - I said that I didn't expect to enjoy Yamada-kun as much as I did so when I sat down to skip and loaf, my expectations were pretty high. I had to re-adjust them a bit though. From some screenshots here and there I'd seen before watching I expected a different kind of show, maybe a meaner one?But instead Skip and Loafer is very positive and cute. Both Mitsumi and Sousuke are very observant and empathetic characters and watching them interact with their classmates (and each other) is a lot of fun. I really liked the subplot with Egashira in episode 3. Egashira was kind of an asshole in episode 2 and when we see her again she's being kind of an asshole again but then she has this moment of anxiety when she compares herself with Yuzuki. And that by itself would be fine character writing but then Sousuke actually notices that she's feeling down and compliments her a little, despite what happened between them in the previous episode. It's such a kind thing to do and the whole show seems to promote this kindness and wholesomeness without being sugary sweet. In this bleak, dark, dark world something like Skip and Loafer is a real balm for the soul.
That's it for the currently running series. I hear there's even more good stuff though, so maybe I'll get around to it next week. I also started watching two older shows.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (currently on season 1, prologue + eps. 1-3) - This, ladies and gentlemen, is my very first Gundam. So far I'm pretty into it. I should probably mention that I haven't watched Utena (yeah, yeah, I know, shame on me), so I only heard about similarities between the two shows (or rather homages paid by GWitch). So I pretty much just take GWitch as it is and don't think about wider context. I really like the characters so far. Suletta is a little ball of anxiety but what I really appreciate about her is that despite how shy she is, she's always speaking her mind. It's kind of inspiring, to be honest. I often keep my thoughts to myself even when I want to speak up because I lack confidence but I when I see Suletta I feel like I want to become a better person. This probably sounds very corny, or maybe sarcastic but I'm 100% honest right now. Miorine is also great. Based on her design I thought she'd be a quiet and withdrawn type but boy oh boy, she isn't that in the slightest. At this point I don't know what the main plot will be exactly but one thing I do know, is that I love these girls and I'm rooting for them, whatever their goals'll end up being.
Spy x Family (eps. 1-3) - I wanted to watch it when it was airing but first I missed one episode because I was busy, then the second one because I was tired and ultimately I missed the whole thing. Now that I'm in anime watching mood again I decided to give it another go. I'd read a little bit of manga before anime even came out (2 volumes iirc) so I'm not going in blind for the first 8 episodes or something like that. And I actually re-watched the episodes I've already seen. There isn't all that much I can say about these first three episodes, other than Anya is wonderful and the whole show's a perfect blend of funny and wholesome. Man, so many wholesome shows these days. I wonder if it's a good or a bad sign. Anyway, episode four is the interview in the school. I recently reread the first volume of the manga and was literally laughing out loud during these chapters so I'm curious to see how it was adapted.
That'd be it from me. Thank you if you read all my ramblings ^^ Sometimes writing down my thoughts helps me in organising them and even realising what they are exactly. And I think it's a good writing exercise, too, so I'll probably write another post like this next week. Until then!

Interactive Romance Fiction Rules of Genre as Illustrated by Lucifer in Obey Me
(i'm so normal about this game i promise) One of my things that I’m constantly talking about when I talk about interactive fiction is that romantic interactive fiction is its own genre with rules and conventions.
In my opinion, the most important (and most rarely broken) rule of the romantic interactive fiction genre is that each main character’s personal development begins with meeting the player and is facilitated through the character’s relationship with the player.
This rule applies to Obey Me (and is done very well, in my opinion) so, as an example, I’d like to talk a bit about Lucifer and his character arc in the first season (Lesson 1 through Lesson 20)—how his sin manifests through his characterization and how his journey as a character is facilitated through his relationship with MC.
First of all, how does pride manifest in Lucifer’s characterization and what challenges arise because of his flaw?
Lucifer is obviously man with an iron backbone, his pride is apparent on a surface level through the way that he interacts with others. He is stoic and reserved, often holding back kind words for fear of showing weakness.
Lucifer thinks of himself as infallible and doesn’t like to rely on others for anything. Lucifer’s pride extends to his work and his family and, though the latter has some positive effect throughout his arc, he loses himself to these things in the process. He is a workaholic and a perfectionist. He is strict with his brothers, needing them to meet his lofty standards.
Lucifer struggles to see MC complexly, underestimating and misunderstanding them because they are human. He initially is very opposed to the idea of forming a pact with a human because it would be a damaging blow to his pride.
How do these things change/develop over the course of the game?
Like most of the brothers, the primary goal of Lucifer’s character development is for him to find a balance with his sin. He does not need to give up healthy expressions of his pride, like the pride he has in his family, but he does need to express this pride in a way that doesn’t hurt others or himself.
This balance is achieved simply by his forced proximity to MC. To keep performing his duties to Lord Diavolo to his highest ability, he must keep MC safe. The positive effect that MC has on the other brothers forces him to confront his own biases and begin to reexamine the way that he behaves. This development is present throughout the entire arc.
The first major turning point for Lucifer is during Satan’s pact arc (Lesson 9 - Lesson 12). When MC reveals that they want to earn Lucifer’s respect by forming pacts with the younger brothers, Satan and Lucifer’s fraught relationship is brought to light. Satan and Lucifer’s character arcs are very closely linked (I wrote about this a little bit here) so any major development for Satan usually comes with a similar development for Lucifer and vice-versa. Here, though, it is especially significant because the body swap and its resulting fallout is the first time Lucifer really acknowledges MC’s positive influence over him and his brothers.
The second major turning point for Lucifer comes with the revelation of Lilith’s human life and Lucifer’s pact with Diavolo. In his pride, Lucifer took on the burden of ensuring Lilith’s human life without telling his brothers. While he did also believe he was protecting his brothers, he did this primarily because he didn’t trust anyone but himself. And, while the pact with Diavolo is a blow to his pride, it is partially made up for by the pride he is able to feel for this selfless act.
By confronting these secrets head-on, MC is able to show Lucifer that he could have trusted his brothers and also relieve him of the stress of keeping the secret. Trust between Lucifer and his brothers is healed both ways as it comes to light that Lucifer has good, selfless reasons for his allegiance to Diavolo.
The final turning point in Lucifer’s season one arc is when he makes a pact with MC. Lucifer is the most resistant to the idea of making a pact with a human, because of his pride. When he chooses to make a pact with MC, he puts loyalty to her above himself and lowers himself more than ever before just for the sake of his relationship with them. It is a complete turn from his behavior in the first few lessons. He proves himself more in-control of his sin and more capable of minding his priorities.
The entire arc happens as a direct response to MC’s presence. That is interactive fiction as genre fiction!!! That is what I mean!!
#this is more specifically about lucifer than i intended#but i love him (i love him)#omswd#606.txt#lucifer obey me#obey me shall we date#om#lucifer#obey me analysis

Ugh ok so there's this book series I've been reading just for fun, it's about college romance and I'm on the last one but it's giving me a serious headache so I'm letting out my feelings here just to vent bc jfc this book is so dumb.
The series is called Franklin U and it's mlm romance, the last one is called Football Royalty and is, in my opinion, the worst out of all 8 books. So if you have any intentions to read the book, maybe don't read this review? Tho i highly encourage you to skip it lmao but maybe that's just me bc in GR it has one of the highest ratings out of all the series.
I added a read more bc turns out I had a lot to say.
So i want to start by saying that i thought, based on the reviews, that this would be one of the better ones like,, most books in this series were fun if a little silly but i truly enjoyed them and got really invested with some of the relationships, but def not this one, i was struggling. Truly. I mean... the setting was so stupid but i was willing to ignore that, if only the characterization wasn't so under cooked, the dialogue so extremely cringe, the characters motivations made a little sense, like give me something!? I literally only finished reading bc i wanted to complete the series and sometimes the book said something so stupid that it would make me chuckle here and there but seriously this wasn't worth it, like at all.
Starting with the plot, the whole story hinges on basically 1 (one) hook up that both MCs had towards the end of high school, which imo was pretty mediocre, and then somehow neither of them getting over it for 4 (FOUR) years, whAT. When i say 1 hook up, i mean just that like they weren't friends, before or after, not a crush or anything, they had 1 hook up and then they couldn't get over it for 4 YEARS. Then one of them shows up, like a stalker, 4 years later and they start talking like they were exes or had any type of relationship prior??????? So anyways, after we establish that level of flimsy connection between the two of them, they very quickly and i mean extremely quickly start having a fwb relationship because of course, and then the whole conflict of the story is that Peyton doesn't know how to have a relationship and a career at the same time so he starts chicken out until he suddenly decides he actually can, oh and Levi is keeping a secret from his family that i would say should be a bigger problem but it really isn't and it gets resolves in the least satisfying way possible.
And, idk what this author was going for, most books in this series have some kind of continuation with the others but this book acts like Learning Curve (the 6th and one of the best books in the series imho) doesn't exist? That book also deals with a guy who plays football and starts dating another guy, and he even shows up in this book (since he's teammates w this book's MC) but they never talk about it???
So, about the characterization, idk what else to say other than it's terrible. There's a theme in this series that I don't really like where there's a bunch of characters with money but none of them actually like having money (ugh) and act like they are lower class to, i guess, be relatable or something? It happens in almost every book for some reason. So obviously this one is no different, in this case it's both of them (the MCs) but Levi is the trust fund baby who was made to go to Harvard to study law even though he wants to do art, and he obviously hates having so much money, has class consciousness (which he learned who knows where) and acts like seeing expensive things is new to him and not something he literally grew up with???? I feel like there's ways to treat these types of characters (Gansey from The Raven Boys for example) but his character makes no sense whatsoever, also once he's made to work (due to reasons he somehow didn't foresee coming) he literally crumbles and suddenly acting poor isn't so cute anymore. I didn't know i had this many problems with this character but now that i started typing i can't stop, there's so much more stupid shit he does jc like how he decided to move across the country and switch careers hoping that a hook up he had 4 years ago and who he fucking rejected would still want to be with him????? hello?????? dude was truly delulu
Then there's Peyton, who was raised by 2 bisexual football player fathers, has a gay brother and gay uncle, but somehow admitting he's bisexual is super difficult (which would be fine if there was a single reason why he couldn't other than his family would tease him about it). The worst part about him is that he's super bland, sometimes I'd forget whose pov i was reading bc his voice and Levi's would just sound the same to me. He also has everything handed to him but he acts like life's so difficult it's giving me a headache, also in that regard Levi is exactly the same. And he's soooo selfish, it does get pointed out like once but he's like so annoyingly selfish, even his grand romantic gesture towards Levi was sooo selfish. Ugh there's so many instances where i just had to stop reading the book and walk around my house bc of how annoyed i got.
The rest of characters are just completely in the background, the closest to somehow being relevant to the plot is Peyton's brother Brady who is poly but in denial for some reason i still can't understand bc it never gets explained (unless it happened at the end bc by that point i was full on skipping pages.)
And now that i'm done typing all this, i feel like what's the point of anything... anyways

The Smallest Alfa Lion - Raúl Victoria III (#81)
Throughout all history and prehistory organisms have fought to show their superiority, to survive (survival of the fittest), to live better, to reproduce, to simply win. With this characteristic of life and even matter it seems a lot unfair to have some organisms born with abilities that others don’t have, for example a big lion and a small one, in this case the immediate response is that the alfa will be the bigger one (he is the fittest) but in humans there are different abilities and different ways to express those abilities. The purpose for this article is to create conscience on the subject of “superiority” and the way it should be perceived by society, the way people can use their born-with abilities or their acquired ones.
There have been big amounts of successful people and all of them came from being good at something or becoming good at it. One example for each of those types of abilities are:
Michael Jordan:
One of the most recognizable and successful NBA players of all time.
Became a legend because of the way he played: the energy and technique he brought to the games, the way he “flied”.
As a young kid he was taken out of his basketball team.
“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
William James Sidis:
Normally attributed inspiration for the character of the 1997 movie Good Will Hunting.
Age of 8 he wrote a book in which he created his own language with roots on Greek and Latin but drawing characteristics from German, French and other Romance languages.
Age of 11 he attended Harvard University even after his rejection at the age of 9 (due to age).
Age of 12 he was already giving lectures to the Harvard Mathematical Club on four-dimensional bodies.
Age of 16 obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude.
Even though William was born with an incredible ability his contributions to any field are relatively (for example when compared to the theory of relativity, done by a “non-prodigy” child) small and even though Michael was born with “normal capacities” he worked hard and reached the highest of levels in basketball history.
In my opinion there are various ways to have an ability and there are tons of different abilities to have and millions of different ways to use those abilities. In the end it all comes down to your own work, if you are born with something and don’t work for/with it you can lose it or at least the “advantage” and if you are born with no “advantage” you can work hard to obtain and increase it so that you are found at a level even higher than the one you were expecting.
In the real world there actually are people who are born with certain abilities but as William’s example (and lots of others) shows that innate ability is not everything and it may even make the “lucky one” so confident that he doesn’t work hard enough and there are people who are born “normally” who do work hard to reach a place not even the prodigies reach.
“The small lion can sometimes become the alfa, it all depends on him.”

A chat with cloud
Nursing school, college, a time of growth and distress. I grew up in a small town with conservative parents. When I met Cloud I was on my third father figure. My mother dragged her children around or left them with a father or adopted them off to people she barely knew. Yes, I grew up with issues. I knew they were there but not specifically what they were or how to deal with them. I think Cloud had this figured out way before me, hence he is a genius. His level of comprehending is profound. He had nearly 10 years of mostly independent living prior to our happenstance conversation in the midst of my absorption of my own growth.
We had a mutual acquaintance from middle school trying to gather some of the old dorks, nerds, and misfits for a New Years get together. Our particular dorky mutual friend had a love interest that was panning out nicely. I think he was wanting to show off his friends to impress her. And, I am not against this by any means. So when Cloud contacted me in the name of doing his friend a favor we had a polite chat.
Our conversation was general. That week was finals week so I gave him little time. I got the highest grade on the test and the second highest grade in the class. School was number one to me. However, finals were nearly over and I was ready to breathe in some freedom.
Our schedules were messy but we landed on drinking at my parent's house up in my room. We made plans for twister and there was talk of candy land. I think he left the candy land at home. It was all fun and games anyways.
It did not take terrible long for the hormones to start coming out. We had chemistry. I could tell that just with our basic messages. He was so confident and said he was worried about hurting me. I said bring it on. The story changed to him being worried about hurting himself in me. So, he felt me out. Yes, at times he did hurt.
It was winter break. He was on my mind continuously. He let me know I was on his. We discussed giving the actual relationship a go. I was hesitant but I was also falling in love with him. He was still fun to be around. Our conversations ranged from worldly topics to our own perspectives. He was always straight forward with his thoughts and opinions. I had been so focused on building my medical knowledge and also contained a general appreciation of knowledge in general. So his conversations were enticing and stimulating. His bedroom skills blew my mind as well.
We were discussing this relationship and started using pet names by mid to late December. It was truly a whirlwind romance. He surprised me with laser tag one evening. This was huge for me. I had not really been in a relationship before, not truly. I definitely had not been treated like this. He had collected a sense of interests that I had and planned a thoughtful and appropriate evening. We had a great time. He had no concern that I was getting sweating and nasty. We were just to people having fun.
He brought so much joy that ticked my anxiety up. Would I lose my concentration over a boy? Would I not finish what I had been striving to do? Later, I somewhat jokingly asked him to move to Canada so I could finish school. We had numerous conversations about my hesitancy. He appreciated my honestly when I addressed my concerns about being ready for a tried and true relationship. But he had fallen for me and I him.
I have asked him recently about those days and he admitted to being crazy for me. I read our old messages and I know its true. I am also crazy about this man now. I was then. He scared me in so many ways. First of all, he loved me, he loved me well and I in return I gave him resistance nearly every step of the way.

daisy felt that they made a connection as well. and it had been so damn long since she felt that way. after bryce had left her almost three years ago she'd pretty much sworn off relationships. if she couldn't make a marriage work what was the point? in her opinion, she'd failed on the highest level. if she hadn't made the man she'd vowed 'forever and always' to how could she possibly be worth anything in the romance department? but steve? she'd spent all of two hours with him and here she was ready to agree to a date if he would only ask her on one. maybe she was getting ahead of herself but she swore he was into her too. why else would he be staring? oh god did she have something on her face? “well, i'm happy to hear that. do you want me to show you those styling products we talked about?” it was just a ploy to get him to linger around longer. she didn't want him to leave but there was no way she was asking him out. daisy liked to consider herself progressive in the women's movement but when it came to things like this, she was still a stickler for tradition. he had to ask her out. “you're my last client of the day.” and then she went to pick her daughter up from the sitter. that was probably a total deal-breaker right there. no one would want a divorced woman with a two-year-old daughter. if that didn't scream damaged goods, daisy didn't know what did.

OKAY so on the topic of Star Wars takes wrt “character ends up in an A/B/O universe where they’re an omega, but they were previously a cis male in their canon”
@atagotiak and I had some Thoughts on discord
So, obviously, Anakin would make a good omega and he’s also incredibly murdery. Foregone conclusion that we're using him for this.
There is no preexisting Anakin in the Omegaverse. He shows up JUST as the war is starting. Canon timeline is in the third year of the war (he’s 22), but whatever dumped him into omegaverse also tossed him back a few years. No de-aging, just a bit of mismatched timeline stuff.
He's... really good at war, and clearly a Jedi, so the Temple just kind of goes "WELL OKAY THEN, SURE, YOU'RE IN, EVERYONE PRETEND HE'S BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME." The Jedi, by and large, don't care about omegaverse dynamics beyond 'what do you need, medically, to be happy and healthy' and 'what do you need to be aware of so you can be prepared for biases you encounter in the field?’
None of the civilian natborns (mainly politicians) want to put him on the field because of those biases. Anakin, being Anakin, is VERY blatantly an omega in scent, has never been on suppressants (because it wasn't a thing he fucking NEEDED), is incredibly emotional as a person, loves kids, etc.
Like, nobody wants an omega fighting a war anyway, but THIS one is like PINNACLE omega, and those awful Jedi are making him FIGHT just because he's good at stab!
The Jedi: Actually, it's because he's got several years of war experience that we don't, and he's a good tactician that works well with the clones-- Coruscant: You MONSTERS The Jedi: Look, we gave him the option to not stab and he looked absolutely devastated. Anakin, several days earlier: You don’t want me? I’m not good enough??? Jedi: Also he can beat up at least half the temple.
He doesn't know a damn thing about dynamics, but he DOES know that sometimes he's so horny he wants to stab HARDER. The clones are largely disinterested in their generals' dynamics because between mostly-Mando* trainers and no-dynamic Kaminoans, they only really care if a person can shoot.
* Mandalore approves of Fighty Omegas. As far as (traditional) Mandalore is concerned, you want an omega that will kill the threats to your children as well as you do.
Anakin: You know more about being an omega than I do. Rex: ...I'm an alpha. Anakin: Yeah. Let that one sink in a bit.
We have two options for Obi-Wan!
Omegaverse local Obi-Wan (beta) has never met this man before, and is very unnerved that the immediate default reaction Anakin has to his presence is releasing Family pheromones as if Obi-Wan is his DAD and like. This strange, too-tall man from another dimension has got absolutely NO control over what he projects in the Force OR in his dynamic.
Obi-Wan was ALSO transplanted from canon to omegaverse, and is also an omega, for contrast reasons. He is nice and friendly and and likes poetry and that sort of thing... but also he has the highest dismemberment count in the movies. Also he doesn’t prioritize romance.
We went with the second one because it's hilarious.
Someone watching them spar: Wow, omegas from that universe are terrifying.
As previously mentioned, now with some tweaking to account for both: Obi-Wan and Anakin just straight up don't exist until they drop headfirst into the council room, already covered in blood. (It's mostly not theirs.)
Nobody realizes either one is an omega until they "naturalize" to this dimension and Anakin goes into heat... and doesn't realize it, actually, because his primary symptom is heightened protectiveness and aggression. Everyone else with the right nose realizes, because the man has no control over his pheromone production, but Anakin? No. He just stabs. He’s angry and horny and he will cut someone.
Ahsoka has no reaction to human pheromones but basically everyone smells Anakin's "my child!" reaction to her, so... Cool. Have a padawan, we guess.
Anakin ends up sparring a lot with Aayla and Ahsoka, because only humans and near humans have dynamics, so these two don't REACT to the pheromones situation.
(Palpatine is a Kindly Old Beta who tries to treat Anakin the way he EXPECTS Anakin wants to be treated, which is. Not. Accurate.)
(Anakin hates it.)
I'm just so in love with "An omega can't fight." "You wanna fuckin' bet?"
There are plenty of omega Jedi, by the way, it's just... most of them can keep it relatively low-key instead of Anakin's jet-engine broadcast. Some, if they're known to be omega, probably take advantage of being underestimated, like Obi-Wan probably (and especially a version of Obi-Wan that was always an omega, unlike this version). They have a very different way of presenting themselves than Anakin, who's not subtle about being an omega and also not subtle about being all aggressive and stabby.
At one point, Anakin has to protect some Very Traditional Individuals who get all "Stay back, Omega, it's not safe!" and he's just... so tired of this shit. “You are squishy civilians and I'm a trained Jedi Knight and accomplished GAR General who's killed more people in one sitting than there are in this entire palace. Sit the fuck down and let me do my job.”
It starts making the rounds that Anakin insisted on fighting in person, and the rumors shift from "how dare the Jedi force an omega to fight" and over into things that are deeply hurtful in-universe in the vein of "broken omega" and some people try to say it to his face but like...
He didn't grow up here.
He doesn't care.
Say that to one of his friends and he's going to rip out your spleen, probably, but say it to him and he's just staring at you flatly and asking if that's a negative on getting away from the encroaching battle droids, sir?
"You're rather unpleasant for an omega, aren't you?" [deeply offensive] "I literally could not give less of a fuck about your opinion. Move."
It's not that there aren't omegas that act like Anakin, either, it's just that most of them aren't, you know, Jedi who regularly interact with the upper crust, or capable of his level of destruction. Unbeknownst to Anakin, everyone clocks him as Outer Rim based on his behavior, well before his accent gives him away, and certainly before he mentions he's from Tatooine, because Core Omegas Don't Act Like That.
Someone they meet in a more diplomatic setting says something decently passive-aggressive about how at least Obi-Wan acts more like how an Omega should. Then a battle breaks out for some reason, and... well. Anakin and Obi-Wan cause such a scandal by keeping score of kills in a battle, don’t you know?
Turns out sending Anakin to fight Ventress is great because she keeps expecting him to react a certain way but NO he's here to STAB.
I like the idea that Obi-Wan's favorite opponent these days is Grievous because the cyborg doesn't have a nose, and thus gives zero fucks about dynamics or heats. Dooku is a rich old man who has opinions heavily influenced by Sith Juice Making Him More of a Dick, and the Dathomiri can smell dynamics even if they don't have them, and so they have biases about those things. Meanwhile, Grievous is just there to Kill, and Obi-Wan genuinely appreciates the lack of commentary on his dynamic.
Dooku’s probably an alpha, or a beta who's used the whole "we are more level-headed" thing as one of several angles to keep himself the public face and supreme commander of the CIS.
On to more fluffy things that have less to do with political biases.
There's a lot of "I'm upset that my loved ones don't know me," but also please understand the appeal of Obi-Wan marching up to Quinlan like "Yes, hello, I understand you've been read in on the full situation behind myself and my former padawan. I was close friends with your alternate universe self, which I feel is necessary disclosure before I propose the following: Would you like to join me for my upcoming heat, as I have minimal experience with the dynamics situation and even fewer people I actually trust, and I believe I can put my faith in you to treat it as casually as necessary while still having control and respect for my person."
(The Team is in a fairly safe place to process stuff, but having sudden unexpected changes to your biology has gotta be a little traumatizing, on top of ending up in a universe where none of your friends know you and people have a whole host of unfamiliar forms of sexism to point at you.)
Obi-Wan, who wasn't quite touch-averse but was much more easily overwhelmed by physical contact than Anakin (who craved it), suddenly finds his body switching gears and insisting on cuddles with Trusted Loved Ones, which is.... mostly Anakin, on account of nobody else really knowing him yet. Also Ahsoka, who is aware that she's something of a replacement for her alt-universe self, but Anakin explained it as "I love you so much no matter which dimension I'm in or what you're like, and I'd like to get to know you the way I got know her."
(It's rather eloquent for Anakin. He got Obi-Wan to help him draft up the script for when he pitched taking on omegaverse Ahsoka as a padawan.)
Anakin gets a more intensely sexual heat than 'usual' at one point for Reasons (IDK it could be as innocuous as 'we got better food than the usual rations and my body is reacting to the higher fat content with the belief that it's safer to have a baby now'), which nobody takes a whole lot of notice of because they're in a WAR, and also this is only his fourth one so it's not like he's got a lot to compare it to... except then the predominantly alpha clones can't stop themselves from reacting to the pheromones, mostly by wandering past his door and asking if he needs anything, offering up alpha-scented blankets and stuff for the nest to soothe the hormones, bringing snacks and electrolyte drinks, and like, Anakin is flattered, really, but fuck off please.
(He got a warning from medical a few hours before it hit that it would be different, so he actually does have alpha-scented fabrics to help him out. Apparently that's a thing you can just ask friends for, so he asked Rex if he had anything on hand that he could spare. He now has one of Rex’s recently-used sheets and a bodyglove in the nest.)
(Anakin has no idea how to feel about the nesting instinct, but at least it’s warm.)
Tia asked "Oh hey, who has the scared and horny reaction to his carnage?" and like.
Listen. I'm not saying I've been low-key imagining this as Rex being a very subby alpha who's really into Anakin's whole Thing but...
At one point Anakin gets injured in a way that requires painkillers and he ends up whining to the point of almost crying about the fact that nobody is cuddling him right now in medbay and Kix just gives up and comms Ahsoka to come hug her weird older brother.
And Then There Is Purring.
That’s a Thing Now.
Rex ends up in the pile somehow. He came over to check on Things and ended up yanked in by half-asleep, half-high Anakin, who has a grip like an octopus and no impulse control and is purring like a pod motor while NUZZLING HIM.
There’s a lot of blackmail photos featuring Rex’s very intense blush as he’s cuddled by his commander (giggling at him) and general (clinging like a tooka and rubbing himself all over).
Anakin is deeply offended that ANYONE thinks he'd want to get pregnant by just any old person, NO he needs to fall in LOVE there needs to be EMOTIONAL DRAMA and if Padme won't have him (apparently she's in a relationship and no he's not BITTER) then he'll find someone else to have a whirlwind romance with!
People think Anakin's a slut because he can't control his pheromone production (he has NO practice and for health reasons he can't go on suppressants) so he always smells open and ready for flirtations, which Obi-Wan also has to a somewhat lesser degree (he's older so his body just naturally produces less), and then someone tries to cross a boundary and grabs his ass and ANYWAY Anakin has to now fill out an incident report for breaking a civilian's arm.

🦜Astrology Observations Pt.4🦜
Collaboration with @venusfun 🌈
Huge thanks to my wonderful bestie @venusfun for sharing an amount of observations in this astro notes and helping me with the overall view of this post. Also please check her out if you don't know her yet, she creates a lot of spectacular astrology posts and you can learn a lot about asteroids from her blog❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Part 1. Asteroids
🌈According to research, asteroid Angel(11911) was first discovered when it was still under the sign of Sagittarius
🌈Having your asteroid DNA(55555) in an earth sign can indicate that your children may see you as someone who is grounded, hard working, practical, and very stubborn. They might look up to you because you are capable enough of giving them the best life you could give and they would understand that your hard-work is a way to support the family
🌈Asteroid Psyche(16) in Pisces/Libra craves romance that is fanstasy-like, something out of this world or something magical that just came out of a romantic story. These folks are the types of people who might be actively looking for true love
🌈Vesta in the 7th house might prefer to not get married
🌈People with Psyche(16) conjunct mercury think on the “soul” level (with heart)
🌈Prominent Ceres can indicate being a very loving and supportive mother but if Ceres have many challenging aspects then it can be obsessing
🌈Diana(78) in an aspect with MC(midheaven) can indicate work with animals
🌈Sirene(1009) in 2nd house indicates beautiful voice
Part 2. MBTI & Astrology
Sidenote: There's no correlation between MBTI and Astrology and we are using this only for personality observations
🌈Cancer/Moon dominants fit with the stereotypes of ISFJ. Both are maternal, nurturing, supportive, sympathetic, selfless, always protects their loved ones, and are sick of dealing your shit lmao. Also they tend to be the Mom/Dad of their friend group and the ones who always brings food 😋😋
🌈 I noticed most Sagittarius placements tend be ENFPs or INFPs base on MBTI. Maybe because both are idealistic, goofy, huge procrastinators, creative, and free-spirited. This can also apply to Jupiter/Pisces dominants (For Pisces it's more on INFP)
🌈While Virgo placements are more fitting with ISTJ because they are dutiful, loyal, traditional, organized, reliable, practical, and fact-minded. And with ISTJs dominant cognitive function which is Si(introverted sensing) they can use the past as a guide and lesson to be used in the present which explains them relying on the tried and true methods in dealing things
🌈In my own opinion, Scorpio/Pluto dominant just gives me INTJ vibes. Maybe because of their analytical and reserved nature
🌈Since the earth signs are known for being observant and detail-oriented, they are more of a sensing type because sensors can notice every single detail of a certain thing such as noticing that you change your hairstyle or you changed your signature perfume and they can sometimes miss the bigger picture. Also sensing types are more focused on the present(Extraverted sensing) or in the past(Introverted sensing) rather than the future which fits the earth signs who are more focused on experiencing the physical world
Part 3. Composites
🌈Uranus in the 1st can indicate that people might perceive you two as best friends
🌈Neptune in the 1st can indicate that people might see the partners as very spiritual and "usually not seen around" relationship
🌈Pluto in the 1st can indicate that people might project you two as very intense and "deep" relationship
🌈Sagittarius ascendant in the composite chart will indicate that other people see the relationship as very fun and adventurous. It has a philosophical vibe
🌈Earth Ascendant in a composite chart can indicate the relationship as stable or grounded and loyalty is established
🌈Uranus in the 3rd can show that two of you may have some odd ways of conversing with each other or have an unusual way of expressing things that only the two of you can understand
Part 4. Degrees
🌈People with 8th degree on a personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus) can find success easily, especially when it comes to business. But if a person has at least three 8th degrees, then the individual can be very materialistic and is only “money-oriented"
🌈Having a good amount of Pisces degree(12°, 24°) in your chart can indicate that you are good or capable enough in balancing your fixation between reality and fantasy but having a lot of it can indicate of you having tendencies of escaping reality and isolating yourself from everyone
🌈Even if your placements are full of feminine/introverted signs(earth/water), if you have a lot of fire/air degrees in your chart especially in personal planets or in your ascendant, you may be more sociable and outgoing. This goes vice versa as well
🌈People with a lot of 5 degrees (at least 3) are actually passionate about going to the gym. A lot of athletes have this degree
🌈Having a Virgo/Scorpio degree(6°, 8°, 18°, 20°)in your personal planet can indicate someone who tends to question anything especially out of either curiosity or suspicion, these people need to be sure that you are trustworthy(they might find ways to trick you or manipulate the conversation to see if what you are saying is true)
Part 5. Random
🌈The house where Leo is in is where you are mostly loved for:
Example:
10H Leo = admired by your ambition and your organizational skills,
11H Leo = admired by how you make friends easily and your networking skills
5H Leo = admired by your passion towards your interests or hobby,
3H Leo = admired by your communication or verbal skills,
2H Leo = admired by your voice and how you handle your finances
🌈Water/Moon/Venus dominant 🤝 Can easily connect to music and would be dancing in their own room till someone enters in
🌈Fixed Moon/Venus/Rising are the types of people who when they find a good music, they would replay it endlessly till they are good enough to stop and feel contented already from listening to it
🌈October Scorpios tend to be more outgoing, sociable, and hot-tempered than November Scorpios but this doesn't change the fact both can be mysteriously alluring and are really intense individuals
🌈Pisces with a mix of Scorpio placements tend to have this dreamlike presence and looks. It's like their physical appearance are just oozing a dreamy yet mysterious vibes
Example: Jungwoo from NCT Pisces Sun + Scorpio Moon
🌈Since the 9th house is the house that associates with religion, it also symbolizes the church and God
🌈The last 4 astrological signs in the zodiac wheel(♐︎ ♑︎ ♒︎ ♓︎)are known as the universal signs, these signs are mainly focused on the outer perspectives of life and are less focused with the self and their relationships. Sagittarius is focused on other cultures, religion, and their own opinion towards things, Capricorn is focused on the understanding of our physical self and the underlying achievements of one's hard work, Aquarius is focused on principles and humanity, and Pisces is focused on the spiritual aspects of life and the connection with the infinite universe
🌈Neptune in 1H/5H/9H/12H/Neptune dominant gives me a feeling like they belong during the renaissance era where philosophy and arts was at its highest peak, these folks tend to be abstract, artistic, and philosophical
🌈Mars in Cancer/Taurus/Libra are mostly seen as people who are very laid-back and many underestimate them base on their energy due to Mars being in detriment/fall with these specific signs
🌈Many people agrees that Geminis are great storytellers but no one talks about Virgos being good at story-telling as well. Both are ruled by mercury and they tend to have great ideas or stories that they can share and express with
🌈Pisces/Aquarius/Sagittarius Rising are the types of people who would wander around the mall(or a public place in general) and accidentally separates from their friends or family and gets lost
Damn, this was a long ass ride 😅😅 hope you guys enjoyed this astrology observations made by me, @leolo404 and @venusfun ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
