Feel free to disagree with me but I have to say:

I do NOT understand the hate for Johnny x Tylor.

I’ve seen arguments that it’s problematic because of the age gap but… Tylor is a grown ass adult in his early twenties. Just because he’s awkward and nervous doesn’t take away his agency as an adult.

And of course there’s the arguments that it’s gross because there’s a power imbalance. Yes, in the end it’s revealed Johnny was ultimately just using Tylor, but like… There’s plenty of other popular ‘toxic’ ships in the MI/MU/MAW community that nobody has a problem with. Randall/Fungus and Johnny/Randy being the best examples. So I’m left to assume the issue is the age difference.

I understand if a few people dislike the power dynamic, but I feel like some people are blowing it way out of proportion.

the reason why Luo Binghe and Shen Yuan can't attic wife each other in their house and never leave is that they don't have internet or anything else around to help keep them moving. I think we chalk too much of Shen Qingqiu being a super productive person post transmigration often too much to reading into things and treating his unreliable narration as fact.

But like, what is he supposed to do all if not actually go outside and talk to people and get a job. Luo Binghe needs to do things other than be a housewife for his own sanity so he doesn't cabin fever. He can't live focusing his day around a singular person being in the room its not healthy and would drive him insane. These are not overly productive constantly doing things people. These are people doing things to make sure they aren't malaise slugs feeling nothing in their day to day drudgery.

This is just what a healthy post/pre internet mental state kinda looks like.

Danny is enjoying his vacation. He’s surrounded by so many creatures who are delighted to show him around, and there’s a bunch that are even called ghosts! Those ones seem to have deemed him as their favorite person, which isn’t hard, but they have also apparently decided that they have to follow him everywhere, including all the way home. And to whatever world he takes his next vacation-slash job as Clockwork’s student at. 

Oh well, he’s sure it won’t be that noticeable.

Came back to our blind cat coughing up loogies. Silo thought it was kitty allergies, but last week, I noticed Bubba looked way worse, so I put my foot down & told Silo to schedule an appointment.

So, our vet got bought out, & they charged me $750 for a single xray, an "xray description fee", 2 shots, an appointment fee, & bloodwork, which they didn't give us the results to. They just sent an email saying "he has a high white blood cell count, so he's fighting an infection (they said it was bronchitis during the visit) or he has KITTY COVID, it's DEADLY & will KILL ALL YOUR CATS, so come back in 2 weeks when the shots wear off or else >:3c"

Also, my car is making a popping noise in the back, so I had to schedule an appointment for that to be addressed //weeps

Day 6: War

CLACK CLACK the sound Anya’s pistol made as she ducked for cover and taking out the second to last opposing forces member with a paint round.

‘Crap it’s just me and her remaining!’ Anya heard from the thoughts of her masked opponent.

It was a joint exercise between WISE and Ostanian spec ops in an effort to keep up profiency against partisan insurgents in urban warfare. What had started as 5 vs 5 now dwindled to Anya and her opponents squad captain.

‘Even with reading his mind this last guy is annoying.’ Anya thought.

Now Anya was prideful as an agent of WISE, so even if this was an exercise she will not fail. Taking the stilleto blade from her side pocket she throws it with bullet like speed slightly to the side from where the opponent was.

THUNK!

Taking the bait he looks in shock over where the blade was now stuck in; giving Anya the opportunity to close in on his position. Now less than 10 feet away Anya rushes him, but the masked man was able to regain their composure quickly.

Now with a pistol facing each other they could say they were at a stalemate.

‘No way it can’t be! Anya?!’

Now that she was up close this man had the prettiest eyelashes she had seen in her life.

“Wait a second!” Anya suddenly said out loud as she swiftly ripped his mask off.

“Syon-Boy! What are you doing here?” She interrogated still pointing the pistol at him.

“Really you’re gonna call me that in front of everyone! And I could ask you the same question!” He spat back at her while lowering his gun.

“Hey what are you two doing?” An older woman yelled out, as she walked into the training room.

“Hey aren’t you Anya’s grandmother?” Damian asked innocently.

Anya could now feel daggers being glared right at her from Sylvia as she approached the two.

Swapping her sudden dread to continue questioning her ex boyfriend.

“Hey you need to answer me what are you doing on a spec ops team? I thought you going to college for history?”

“Ahem” Sylvia tried to interrupt.

“I did!…. At the military academy.” He answered without distraction.

Anya just looked at him with a cocked eyebrow

“Hey I’m not rich anymore.” He defended. “Now what about you? I thought you were studying to be a psychiatrist in Westalis?”

“Ahem” Sylvia said louder now and visibly annoyed.

“I still am. WISE is just paying for it while I help them out. And it’s paying off since I PSYCHED you out earlier. She said showing off her signature smug smile.

“You got lucky and it still ended in a draw!”

“Captain Watkins is not going to hear the end of this. Sylvia sighed in defeat as the two rivals bickered like children.

Shuada does hit a lot of the power imbalance issues that come with huge age gaps like that: one is bigger and stronger, one is more forceful and actively instigates the relationship whereas the other just awkwardly complies, one could easily manipulate the other with blackmail including potential for “I’ll tell everyone you’re dating someone like me,” etc

The funny part is it’s the underage teen that has all this power lmfao

While writing the next part of my Tactica rant, I was reminded of when Sophia started attacking everyone near the end of Strikers and everyone is struggling against her because they don't want to hurt her.
