I think the most baffling thing about the Tulpar as a vessel to me is the fact that the ship really did only have a one way communication system.

I know it was cheap but even the most basic of vessels regarding major transport would have some way, shape or form for outside communication. Not only that but there was absolutely no form of innate emergency signal to show they may have been offline or in trouble despite clearly having a system to dock credits if they went off course. It's another factor that really shows that bad situations are made to get worse by design. One person who is required to relay all information to the crew and make all the choices without feedback. No way to update or call for help in case of a dire situation. No way to inform of inner personal conflicts and acquire procedures accordingly.

It really is like they are all in some sort of fucked up solitary confinement. They have their own world with strict roles that are meaningless in the end, as long as the cargo makes it, it doesn't matter what happens on that ship to the company. They don't want to hear anything and will come to conclusions on what happened based on how much pay they can withhold from the workers. Even what they do send is short, sterile and corporate to the extent it was likely written and sent out with a command by some random unmanned computer in an office.

There's something to be said about how unfair it is to force absolute power and control onto one person when you as an entity could do so much more to offload it but I've said it many times before so I won't again.

❗️ The production company Studio WabiSabi announced that their actors Boun N., Prem W., Santa P., Sammy C., Yacht P. and Stamp P. have terminated their contracts and will no longer be artists under the company on April 15th. Shortly after, GMMTV announced the 6 of them as newly signed artists, along with the disclosure that BounPrem's upcoming BL Vampire Project is now being produced under GMMTV, who now also own all broadcasting rights; WabiSabi will function as a co-producer. New S. stated on Twitter that the decisions had been long in the making, as well as the fact that WabiSabi no longer functions as a management agency for actors and is now a mere production company. He also denied the rumors that the company is shutting down. Shortly after the transfer of the Wabi Sabi actors, actor Fluke Jeeratch (formerly Pongsakorn) joined GMMTV as well.

unpopular opinion but i do get what williams is trying to do and i'm not really mad? like, ofc i feel bad that they're not giving sargeant a full second season after pulling him early, but i don't think they are ruining franco's career. he gets to drive an f1 car for half a season and then go back to f2 to gain more experience because he was never going to get an f1 seat next year, let's be fr, and sargeant was not going to either even if he scored points.

they're using the driver academy as a driver academy is intended, as a path to get to f1 (rushing the rookies through tho). franco has almost no pressure (he's not fighting for a seat next year) and probably only has to try his best (and try to score points) and then go back to f2 and prove himself there. i don't think james vowles intends for franco to be the second coming of christ, but if having sargeant is not working for the team, why drag it more races when they could try to see how franco does in f1? not saying that it isn't ruthless, but the drivers in the williams driver academy are actually driving in f1, which is more than some others academies can say.

I thought the beginning was sad enough, but the ending? I’m truly devastated. Rett and Pyke’s reactions to Dandy being taken, Kavir’s sacrifice… I’d had his death spoiled for me by the comments (by accident no less; youtube skipped to the next episode and I didn’t notice until it was too late), and thought I’d braced myself for it, but Leboosh begging him to stay had me in tears. And Rett leaving Leboosh to try and free Dandy so that he could bring Pyke back to the ship, even though it killed them both to do it? Chuckles standing behind the rest of the group crowding around Kavir, for once lost and afraid, as if unsure if he belonged in this moment, as a part of this family?
