god i have so many so I'm gonna single out Sean bc I'm OBSESSEDDD with her GOD GOD . GOD . read about her on AF if u wanna too . and her sister Anaya

She's an OC for my season 5 AU continuation of the walking dead game ! she's Gaby's best friend and she is very Not Normal.

I hesitate to say a wholeee lot bc I Would rlly like to write her story out if I ever commit myself to writing a whole fic for Vae Victis (<- name of the AU/"game") but i can give Some basics

Shes sooo. very protective. like Overprotective. in the early days of the apocalypse her whole family fell into infighting and this scarred her so badly she grabbed her little sister Anaya and booked it. she was 10 and Anaya was 3 at the time btw. Ever since then she's had a really difficult time trusting other people with her or Anaya's wellbeing. Because of this she was super unreceptive to the idea of settling down with a group, which time and time again proved very devastating for Anaya. Eventually Anaya grew to just Accept Sean's methods of separation for safety, and also stopped seeking out socializing with others knowing it was very likely they were just gonna leave in the middle of the night at random anyway.

but one day Sean and Anaya came across New Richmond (where Gaby lives), and for some reason this place just. stuck out to Sean. Anaya was well prepared to leave within a month again like all other times, but for whatever reason; Sean getting attached to Gaby, or Sean realizing New Richmond was to be trusted for other reasons; they just never left. This left Anaya in a really awkward position where she was so hard wired to not get attached to anyone because the threat of leaving was pretty much pavlov'd into her, that she suffered wayyy more socially than Sean did.

But Sean wasn't faring That Much better. I dont think getting into an insane co-dependent possessive friendship with a girl you met in apocalyptic bootcamp is all that great either LOL

Sean is just. goddd shes the queen of making her own problems. She's half convinced she'll never meet another person on her level and in fact the very idea of someone being her equal is really unnerving to her? And she doesnt act in a way to Purposefully tear anybody down because she's looking to belittle them. But she genuinely thinks its in Gaby and Anaya's benefit to just totally depend on her for sanctuary and emotional support. She gets very crabby around other people who "step on her toes" when it comes to being Gaby/Anaya's rock to lean on. If she isnt someone's sole supporter she feels incomplete, and the idea of Gaby and Anaya finding other support networks makes her so anxious she wants to vomit

shes like if a mom friend was a Bad mom.

also she fucking Hates Gaby's partner (context to the image above HAHA) hes a rlly kind butch fellow she just despises him on principle.

I can't believe it's already been a full year!

I don't really have anything super special planned, I just wanted to say that I appreciate everyone that's showed up over the course of the past year. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep up with uploads or if this blog would even be noticed in the sea of other posts on here, but it really does make me happy that people have enjoyed what I'm doing with the blog.

I didn't quite get a post every day for 365 days, but I came a lot closer than I originally expected I would. (And I'm still going strong! There's SO MANY GAMES TO FIND.) As always, if you've found a game that you'd like to see on here, feel free to send the game ID my way!

My progression in watching the new MHA movie you're next.

Me: mmhp, the opening song is homunculus which reminds me of Fma, what weird coincidence.

Me *hearing the villain's quirk is Alchemy from my sis*: well that's a curious name for a quirk, mmhh, could be a coincidence.

Me *seeing an amputee stoic character whose main weapon is a gun in a world with quirks*: well. I mean that's an interesting choice on character design. Very interesting, I mean not everything is related to FMA.

Me *seeing the girl put red roses that amplify quirk output and using people's forces to power it* : well, I mean red is a very popular color - reminds me a little of FMA philosopher stones. Mmh - I mean I'm kinda obsessed with FMA so it's understandable.

Me *seeing the enemy be in the image of a blonde character and call himself his dark contrapart*: bones you are fishing me at this point. Stop teasing me it's not funny

Me *seeing fights with stones pedestals, golden coins and rings, a muscular character with a short old man on its shoulder*: I swear to God you are kidding me.

Me *seeing a girl-boy duo spending their days sequestered in a house with each other as their main company, the stoic man crying over her unconscious form and the girl telling they were on equal grounds after watching the enemy turning into a giant monster and command a bunch of mindless white minions*: bones you won't fool me!!! I know what you are doing!!!! We know Fma is in your portfolio, we know!!!!!

Anyways, the new MHA movie fishes me out specifically with my obsession for FMA and as much as I know it's not that deep I still squeaked in the movie theater.

Three Caballeros scene near the finale. I hope whoever the 1944 art director was knew that they permanently imprinted surrealism inside my 3 yr old brain...

I'm still blown away by it's bold use of animated color. This segment in particular is massively influenced by the Mexican surrealist movement that started in the 1920s I think.
