While Senritsus favorite meal is "Strammer Max" as a hearthy hangover-dish served in pubs and diners that the woman had lived on for years on her travels, her comfort dish in the manne rof a dish she knows how to prepare and always would be able to prepare is "Hasenpfeffer". "Hasenpfeffer is a traditional Dutch and German stew made from marinated rabbit or hare (Feet, chest, heart, liver: the parts of the animals that are not good for frying) , cut into stewing-meat sized pieces and braised with onions and a marinade made from wine and vinegar.Hase is German for "hare" and Pfeffer is German for "pepper" although in the culinary context it refers generically to the spices and seasonings in a dish overall, as with the German ginger cookies called Pfeffernüsse. Seasonings typically include fresh cracked black pepper or whole peppercorns, along with salt, onions, garlic, lemon, sage, thyme, rosemary, allspice, juniper berries, cloves, and bay leaf."

As a young girl Senritsu would hunt rabbits with a slingshot and bring them for the stew to her mother and as a adult she still is a very, very good Hunter in the literal sense of the word. She knows how to survive on her own in a lost place and it had never changed. Accordingly when she is out in the wilderness for her work, she very often would end up preparing the stew for herself and it is one of the only recieps that she actually can prepare.

Senritsus favorite drink is black tea with milk and rocksugar as it had been the tea her father would prefer for her and she also always find great comfort in it. However, another drink that gives her comfort? A cold bottle of dark beer ("Ein Dunkles") she can drink after work with her colleagues while joking around with them. Nothing tastes better.

Oh dear, this is probably the one I'm struggling the most with. It's been... more than a year since I last finished a proper watercolor illustration, and I really want to go back to it... but I'm having trouble finding a composition+palette I actually like.

I have been toying with the idea of Temeraire's hatching day also being a hatching day for Laurence -like, both their heart coming out of the shell together, and how they keep growing together from here, sharing their respective core (wings for Temeraire, spine for Laurence, and the sea to craddle them both)

So far, here are the attempts I made at finding a good compo, without success :

night watch is what @havenesc and i have been calling our goofy-ass pairing of jason todd and the bitchy emt boyfriend we made up for him. his name is percy. hes a complete asshole and one of the most annoying people alive and i love him dearly <3<3 he works as a paramedic on the night shift (hence the ship name) in fucking GOTHAM, so you know there’s something wrong with him. which makes him an absolutely fantastic fit for jason. 

this concept is also a tangential part of the broader cmad au so jason is 1.) working for sofia gigante and broadly estranged from the bats and 2.) immortal and capable of popping back up from the dead like a fucking daisy. at one point he pops back up and slams right into the paramedic who had been tending to his lifeless corpse. percy gets a broken nose. jason gets bitched at for aggravating potential head injuries. both of them have ZERO CLUE what they’re in for. 

from that point their relationship progresses from wary sniping to tentative friends to BEST friends to weird emotionally fraught quote-unquote ““friends”” with benefits to…dare i say…lovers. they are STRANGE and OBSESSED with each other and COMPLETELY fucking head over heels. they bicker with each other alllll the time because of Who They Are As People but. oh my god. they are so grossly disgustingly in love. its honestly embarrassing for them. 

anyway haven and i have spiraled out over them with honestly impressive speed and efficiency. im kicking my feet and giggling like a middle school girl texting her first shitty boyfriend. they live in my head rent fucking free. theyve infected my brain and are chewing away at the precious few synapses left. and i wouldnt have it any other way <3<3

looking at it through gustcup lens, gustav and dagur hanging out is just so funny, like they both have this big crush on hiccup and I'd imagine they kinda end up bonding over it, but it's only because either of them looks at the other like ,,I've no heart to tell you, but you've NO absolutely completely ZERO NONE chances with him... I, on the other hand...'' like they're so close actually it's both of them not having any chances with him, but it's not like they have the ability to realise...

if the story is set during "go gustav go", dagur would absolutely bond with gustav over their shared crush on hiccup, but in a big-brotherly way where he thinks gustav has no chance at all and it's adorable. maybe he'd even see a little bit of his younger self in gustav (though he'd make it clear gustav is a weaker version of him).

dagur would also absolutely ask if hiccup ever talks about him and what he says, and gustav, the big muttunhead that he is, says hiccup talks about defeating dagur all the time — with the intent to talk down on dagur and make it clear hiccup only wants to put dagur back in jail and dagur has no chance, but all dagur hears is: "he talks about you all the time" because dagur has incredibly selective hearing.

and like you said, it's very important for their bonding that they both think the other has absolutely no chance with hiccup, because if dagur saw gustav as a threat? he'd "crush", but in a whole different manner...

when hiccup comes to trade the dragon eye for gustav, dagur starts talking about the kid saying he has "great taste" and fits right in with the berserkers, and hiccup is just kinda like oh gods there are two of them now.

dagur is also the type to get insecure and try to "subtly" ask hiccup if the gustcup ship ever has a chance of sailing, just to be sure, and hiccup contemplates just sinking the ship with all of them still on it.

Now that Enver and Elodie are married and knowing the lengths Enver will go to for Bane, would he be willing to "sacrifice" his own wife for his God? Not literally, but putting her in danger under Bane's command. We know he refused to go through the entire initiation protocol during his wedding to Elodie (her dress cough cough). Is his obsession with her greater than his obsession with Bane right now?

Short answer? Yes - he would be willing to sacrifice Elodie if Bane asked him to.

Long answer? It's a bit more complicated than that and involves a bit of lore 👇🏻

Enver’s reluctance to fully undress Elodie in order to burn her wedding dress stemmed not from compassion, but from possessiveness. To him, Elodie is his - his possession, his prize - and he refuses to expose her body, even partially, to anyone else (aside from Bane). Even the act of undressing her, no matter how symbolic, is something he jealously guards. That same possessiveness surfaces in chapter three when Astarion touches her shoulder, and even earlier when Enver learns she's rejected other men before him.

According to Faiths and Avatars, "Bane was to be feared by his faithful and even more feared by the unfaithful."

Enver may not have immediately stripped Elodie of her Lathanderian wedding dress, but he accurately pointed out that she had already given Bane what he demands most: submission and fear. By that point, the dress became secondary. Burning it served only as a symbolic assertion of dominance - a power play meant to reinforce superiority. And as Bane's Chosen, Gortash always gets the final word. Reasserting his own authority (particularly in front of the clergy), his divine right, is entirely in line with the tenets of the Church of Bane.

As for whether he would ever sacrifice her - be it through harm or even death - if Bane demanded it, the answer remains yes, as stated above, but it would bring him no satisfaction. Enver wants Elodie to obey because he has no desire to hurt her; in his mind, pain should be unnecessary if devotion is given freely. Still, that conflict between what he wants and what his god commands comes to a head in chapter five, when the conversation turns (spoiler alert) to the question of children, yet the underlying tension stays the same: Enver is devout, and when forced to choose, he will always obey.

Faiths & Pantheons (published in 2002 and partially serving as a canonical foundation for fire & ice) makes this uncompromising doctrine clear: "He [Bane] has no tolerance of failure and seldom thinks twice about submitting even a loyal servant to rigorous tortures to ensure complete obedience to his demanding, regimented doctrine."

If even Bane’s most faithful are not spared, Enver would never presume that he - let alone Elodie - would be the exception.

Does Gortash love Elodie? For now, I leave that question to the readers, though you will get an answer in time. His obsession with her is fuelled by a belief that she is his equal in wit and his match in will - something rare enough to fascinate him. Bane's demands only intensified his fixation and gave him divine license to pursue her. He told her plainly on their wedding night that while he may not want to hurt her, he has no qualms doing so if it becomes necessary. The only reason he shows any leniency at all is because he views her as his equal - but, as with him, she will always be subordinate to Bane. Enver will always serve his Lord first.

Enver may want her loyalty out of desire, but if forced to choose between her and his god, there is no choice at all.

What was your muse's personality like as a kid? How has it changed since then? Senritsu has not much changed since she was a child, but there is one glaring difference: Nowdays She has a lot of better control over her temper. When Senritsu had been a child and a young adult, she had been a lot of more like the stereotypical Emitter-personality and that made her a lot of louder, more direct and easily to get angry but also much as fast be able to calm down. The temper is still there and it rises just as fast as it had done when she was a child or a teenager, but nowdays Senritsu not only forces herself to stay calm and is warned early enough about her own emotional state by her hearing, but she also is and always had been a very proettcive person and nowdays she is more often in situations where she is around people who get a lot of more faster and more angry than she ever could so before she could explode with temper she usually steps in to stop her colleagues from getting into danger and that distracts her from her own temper. The only time in whichSenritsu recently lost her temper was back in Yorkshin when she sternly rebuked Kurapika from going after the Spiders after Gon and Killua were kidnapped by them yet even than she did so because she needed to calm Kurapikas temper before it would get him killed.

What responsibilities did your muse have as a child? Chores? Babysitting? How good were they at fulfilling their responsibilities? Senritsu was tasked to occaisonally look after her younger sisters (the twins), but since there are barely two years between her and her younger sisters she was not often asked to specifically looka fter them as in those cases she herslf would needed to be looked after. So the one she looked after most was her younger brother Hayato. This became especialyl important when the children startd to be included int he groups pickpocketing activities happenign whenever the Traveline People would coem into a new place. Senritsus Hatsu specifically developted before she was initiated to Nen from the wish to make sure her siblings would never be caught when stealing so her ability developted first as a stunning-ability to make sure noone would notice her siblings stealing and slipping away. She is not aware that this makes her after the Nen definition a Genius, but it spaks to her dutifulness consideirng she did awoked her usage of nen simply because she wanted to protect and look after her siblings. When Senritsu was around four she would also start to assist her mother in her work as the groups Medic by collecting certaine herbs(under her mothers watch), helping them prepare/cook/stomp/brew into a tea, and around the same time she also started to assist in births although at this early times all she did was carrying watercups for her mother and whoever else needed something to drink in that room and a few years later she was usually the person who had to go on her knees to catch the newborn in a towel and go clean them up, which was not especially hard because she was and still is a short person especially compared to someone who had been hieved to stand on blocks holding to straps so gravity would do most of the work.
