it just brings me so much joy and makes me feel like me, if that makes sense haha - also, getting all these ideas and lines out dialogue out of my head is such a relief lol, I can't keep all of that in here 😂

🌈is there a fic that you worked *really fucking hard on* that no one would ever know? maybe a scene/theme you struggled with?

I think the holiday fic was the one I worked the hardest on? it was fun tho, I did so much research about all the different holidays and how they're celebrated in the states (and then used like 0.5% of what I learned in the fic lol) - and I think I struggled the most with the angsty parts of it, which were mostly about Eddie's parents and his relationship with them, and the little bit of biphobia at the beginning, which I'm still not sure about tbh, I don't like to reread these parts haha and also there's one chapter where buck's parents show up and I actually rewrote almost all of it before posting bc it got way too intense and angsty 😂 I'd never written the buckley parents before and I rarely read fics with them so I had no idea how to write them, and I'm so not good at fights and angst, idk why I even attempted that 😂 that whole chapter just feels so fucking awkward istg (love the rest of the fic tho, it was fun to write haha)

“You never did tell us the other day,” Xunami elbows her. “What you think about her. Jane.”

Nymphia thinks for a long moment, twirls the straw in her drink. For whatever reason, she’s been coy about this particular character study. It’s hardly the first time she’s zeroed in on a particular guest, tried to figure them out and created rich fantasies to fill in the blanks. Still, there’s something perplexing about Jane. She shouldn’t be nearly as interesting as she is, someone who is so obviously in one pocket of the world, but there’s something slightly amiss about her. She’s caught glimpses of it over the last three weeks - that something that’s bent out of shape inside of Jane - but every time she’s thought she’s close to identifying it, Jane snaps back into place. Straightens up, sips her wine, says something sardonic at the dinner table. And then it's gone again.

Nymphia has come back to the same scene again and again: Jane in the darkness at the end of the dock, smoke streaming from her mouth, head tilted up towards the sky. Every time Xunami and Dawn mull over it, Nymphia wonders why they don’t see it - that happy girls, even the ones who drive red convertibles and sip champagne and throw money around like it’ll never run out - don’t stare at the sky like Jane does.

Right then and there, Nymphia draws a conclusion. “I think there’s something sad about her.”

“Sad?” Xunami knits her brows together, confused.

“Yeah,” Nymphia nods. “All alone every night, even though she’s got all that family at home. Out at the pier, even though she’s staying at the nicest spot in town...” She looks up for reassurance, finds Mirage chewing at the inside of her cheek. “Don’t you think it's weird?”

Xunami scoffs. “What does a girl like that have to be sad about?”

I need to know something:

Let's say you go to a concert with Satoru, what type of concert bf is he? The one who has his arms around you from behind the whole night? The one who encourages you to jump, dance and live a little? Or the type who had a little bit too much to drink and can't keep his hands off you until you guys just have to have a quicky?

i do love to keep my hcs very close to canon gojo so i think, since he canonically doesn't like alcohol, he prefers to drink very little or none so i feel like at a concert he would be very aware of you, in case you are drinking. i feel like, he would be the kind of boyfriend who would enjoy being with you, he would enjoy knowing about the things you like and share your musical tastes and in case they don't like them at all, at least listen to them with you because he loves and respects you.

if he knows the artist and likes them too, i feel it is for sure he would be singing and dancing with you, singing the songs together as if you are in a live karaoke. if you are together but he doesn't like the artist so much, he would leave you your space to enjoy, he would remind you that he is close, taking your hand, hugging you from behind, placing random kisses on your neck or putting your knuckles to his mouth to kiss them, admiring you with love eyes watching you enjoy the concert.

I think that in case you are drinking, he will always be the one who takes care of you; the designated driver, who helps you bathe and take off your clothes when you get home, who brings you water when you go to bed and brings you a pill in the morning when you are hungover to remember details of the concert while you show him the pictures you took.

tell me about the two vanitases. vaniti

Post I made a while ago about it (might be slightly awkward / messy bc it’s from 2 years ago) :)

Essentially, at the end of bbs Vanitas and ven have a “battle of hearts” (similar to Roxas and sora in kh2) and Vanitas, as the weaker heart, loses and retreats back into his “origin”, ven’s heart. We see sparkles dissipate into vens stain glass, signifying that Vanitas has become embedded into ven’s heart. THEN ven becomes embedded in Sora’s heart, thus making a sort of matryoshka effect inside of sora;

sora<-(inside, ven [<-inside, vanitas])

Cut to ddd where sora is DEEP inside his own heart and thus coming across a lot of shit embedded within. Including Vanitas who appears as a fractured vision saying Sora’s heart is a prison “even if he’s not the prisoner.” Upon hearing this most people’s immediate thought would be *terra/aqua voice* ven!! But most people miss the hidden layer (cleverness intended) that would also mean Vanitas since he’s inside ven. Of course if someone is locked inside a prisoner in jail that also means they’re in the prison, whether them also being locked up was intentional or not

Cut to kh3. The first instance we see Vanitas is monsters inc. but we don’t see Vanitas first, we see the manifestation of his power because as he explains he needed enough energy to come back to life. The clever part about this is this only happens because sora is there with ven in his heart, thus physically bringing Vanitas’s heart to a place where he can regenerate and, if the plan works out, extract himself/ven from Sora’s body. There’s an extra bonus that the power becomes even more potent by upsetting sora and therefor having a STRONG sense of negativity which had been building in our poor boy all game, and as Ansem The Wise said, sora is able to make things be real and that means he was able to make Vanitas come back to life without whatever Xehanort did to make him, even though he didn’t mean to

Then Vanitas gets bodied by scully and thrown into a door, seemingly gone forever

Then like 3 seconds later we see him again in the land of departure. But. Wait. Didn’t scully just throw him to somewhere in Connecticut?

Act II: The second Vanitas

This Vanitas is a replica Xehanort pulled from the post. Xehanort had no fucking clue where Vanitas went after bbs bc he just disappears and honestly he clearly didn’t care because hes always known could just make another one so he does. The reason I know this isn’t monsters inc Vanitas is because one that’s impossible, it was 100% intentional this scene happens after yeetus Vanitas, and two Vanitas acts. Different. For one he’s much more brazen than he was in MI, instead of just his long winded monologuing he’s actually goading them on and being arrogant and feisty and trying to fight, immediately transporting us back to the kind of personality he had before. You know. Ven kicked his ass. And he also teleports and does magic and is way stronger than MI Vanitas because that Vanitas had just formed. There’s no possible way he had all his strength back after being rebirthed for 3 seconds so the fact that he was able to hold his own against aqua who’s been fighting nonstop for 10 years definitely raises an eyebrow and points to this theory because how was that possible and why didn’t he fight in MI if this was the case.

Some people have pointed out that it’s weird Vanitas wears a cloak of darkness in MI and thinking about it I think there’s two answers. The first is he was weak and I think it’s possible the cloak could protect him, esp if he’s not fully darkness anymore bc he has his own heart, has regenerated on his own instead of being extracted by Xehanort’s dark power, and was touched by two very powerful lights for like 10 years (they probably got their light cooties on him lol) and two, I think he was hiding from Xehanort. Vanitas likely knew of his plan since his conception even though he might not have fully understood was it was and therefore he would’ve known what was going on in kh3 and been like “shit. I’m not following the plan bc I’m not even a part of the plan anymore so Xehanort can’t find out.” Because if you remember in com DiZ says the cloaks can hide you from anyone and if Xehanort knew Vanitas was back he would at the very least force him to do his plan again or at the worst destroy him because he’s an unknown factor

Then sora fights replica Vanitas and he goes back into the past and somewhere out there Vanitas is walking around the streets of New York (or shibuya) having no clue what the fuck is going on

So yes. Two Vanitases bc we can’t get enough of this boy. Two of them

I'll do our newest couple - Ella and Eric! First of all, I love them so much because they were not intended to be together, but I just loved Eric so much that there was no other choice! Okay back to facts:

They've known each other since Ella moved to SimDonia. Nobles and Royals often are in the same circles. They hit if off instantly and their little friend group became a thing with these two having a standout bond within the group.

Eric didn't start to develop a deep crush on Ella until high school. Ella's crush wasn't until after Eric kissed her at his grandmother's funeral and she realized she didn't have the same spark with Luka.

Eric and Ella were each other's firsts <.<

Should they decide to get married, Eric or Ella would have to give up their title. Eric would be Grand Count of Hallow Slough once his parents pass. Ella would be Grand Duchess of Umbrage. They both have younger sisters who could take the titles, so we shall see.

Eric has only ever said "I love you" to Ella. While Ella did say it to Luka, she feels like she truly felt it the first time she said it to Eric!

Whew, okay, well... while Daisy has a huge place in my heart (especially lately, as you can tell 😹), my all-time favorite will always be Luigi.

See, the funny thing is that I hardly cared for him before the movie, and even a little after I watched the movie. My first favorite Mario character was actually Rosalina when SMG came out, because I was SO obsessed with space when I was younger (and still kinda am), and blue was and is my favorite color (such a deep reason, right? :P)

I always tend to lean towards the underdogs of a franchise, yet I don't remember the exact moment that drew me to him. There were just a bunch of edits and videos of him flooding all of my social media pages when the movie hype was still fresh, and I guess one day I decided, "yup. that's my guy."

I think the moment that really solidified my love for him was when I replayed Luigi's Mansion (I kiiinda played it before, but I was 4 and just pressing buttons lol... it's strangely a core memory for me). His bravery throughout the game despite his evident fears and anxieties is just... so inspiring and real to me, genuinely. And a little bit of him shone through his commentary of some of the objects throughout the mansion, which was also endearing 😆 The game gets creepier the deeper I think about it, and I just can't help but give him more flowers for going through it three different times!

plus, he's just so happy and awkward and silly. how could you not love him?!

But in short, he's my favorite because he's relatable to me, and I find his little quirks adorable and endearing.

✨ - How did you come up with the OC’s name?

I've talked about Ara, Rat and Thorn's names in the past, so I'll do the kiddos this time.

Falla was named for her uncle Falena, though it's a bit of a taboo subject and Leona would only confess it under extreme duress.

Gigi was named Genevieve simply because Ruggie liked the name, though she picked Gigi for herself early so it was sort of a backronym. Originally she was the one who was supposed to have been named for his grandmother, but I decided Kana made more sense etymologically.

Kana was named for Ruggie's grandmother.

Ton (Raton) is named for Uncle Rat, who took the name Raton as his chosen name during his second or third year at NRC (though he still mostly goes by Rat. It's more about the symbolism of picking it for himself rather than being given a hivename).

Olivine is named for the pretty mineral of the same name, which may be found on volcanic beaches.

Asmina picked her own name after much fussiness and trying on. I haven't put much thought into why Jamil would have picked it. Perhaps he always liked the name, but never thought he'd actually have a child to give it to.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

Falla - Not really. She's not a fan of rodents but it's more because they eat her plants than because she's scared of them. Her lifestyle doesn't put her in the path of many of scary things though.

Gigi - Heights. It's a secret she guards carefully, since she doesn't want it to stand in the way of her dreams of being a pro Spelldrive player.

Kana - She isn't a fan of spiders, though it's not quite so severe as to call it a phobia.

Ton - He simply refuses to tell me if he has one. Frankly I doubt it.

Olivine - You know how some people have an intense fear of the deep ocean? That's how Olivine feels but for deserts. Nightmare town for him. He also isn't a fan of most bugs. Also thunder - it's so much louder on land than in the ocean! Oh and needles...

Asmina - Asmina suffers pretty acutely from claustrophobia, so she tries to avoid small spaces when she can.

ohh. gojo is always eager to go with me 🤍 he likes to choose what I will wear for him as much as he likes to take it off, he is very careful with it

geto on the other hand doesn't usually go with me, especially since i like to buy it behind his back and surprise him with it. i'm guilty maybe of this that he often ends up tearing them apart without knowing the price, but he always compensate me by buying double the next day <3
