How the Feisty Five doing in the au? Or it is now Feisty Six with Clover?

The Feisty Five are still rooting and tooting in the Wild East! Here's some character notes ✍��

Clover is the unofficial sixth member of the Feisty Five. They're still called the deputy of the Wild East even if they can't always help out with the tourist attractions.

Their group dynamic is a lot more healthy and respectable since Starlo apologized. Really, the only thing they argue over is the name of their posse. No decision to change it has been made yet.

Ed is also Starlo's "deputy" and right hand man for any Wild East issues, since he doesn't have to live in hiding LOL.

The Feisty Five run the Wild East tourist attractions a bit more seriously now, and it's developed into an even bigger town. Starlo has to make money to raise his human kid now after all.

Ed lost his eye protecting Starlo during a mission gone awry. Starlo still feels incredibly guilty over it, but Ed doesn't dwell on it much or blame him for it.

All of them have hobbies or jobs outside of simply running the town with Starlo! Ace also runs a small casino in the Wild East, Moray has taken up tailoring and making outfits, Ed and Mooch teach self defence and other cowboy tips and tricks for visitors (really, Ed is there to stop Mooch from pick pocketing attendees)

please give me your goofiest head canons so I can try to draw them. e.g. Modern AU Would lan wangji ever go to school with A-Yuan in a fluffy bunny suit for easter?

Okay I have five minutes let's see what I can come up with:

- Lan Wangji would be the kind of dad that would dress up in any outfit for A-Yuan. The kid picked out an outfit for him? He's wearing it, even if it consists of his suit trousers with one of the joke T-shirts Nie Huaisang buys him for Christmas. This goes for holiday costumes as well

- Wei Wuxian has trained himself to sleep in strange places to scare the shit out of Jiang Cheng, including one notable time when he attached himself to a coat hanger and slept like that in the grape's wardrobe

- Wei Wuxian in any AU has mistaken Lan Xichen for his lover at least once and has tackled him to the ground in a hug.

- Lan Qiren can sense Wei Wuxian coming from a mile away and you can tell he's on his way through the long-suffering sigh that escapes Lan Qiren.

he's around 3-4 feet tall? i added some of my own details but i HEAVILY studied his ingame model to make him! entirely out of cardboard, foam, hot glue, autism, and paint! he's put together with elastic and glue so his arm and hand move and with his torso being foam i can maneuver him to lean and bend. originally his head could also come off because funny ha ha but i had to scrap the idea since his head just kept, falling off

“I really don’t think it’s that deep,” Fig tries, not for the first time, and there’s a laugh buried somewhere in there but Fabian’s been pacing the hospital hallway for too long for it to really be a joke, by now.

“You don’t understand, Fig,” he says, throwing his hands in the air. He hasn’t looked at her for the past fifteen minutes. “We’re designed to be disposable. This is the end.”

It hits her like a punch to the gut, harsher than any of the spell hits she’s taken. Which is— it’s ridiculous, right? She knows it is, knows it’s just Fabian being dramatic, but there’s that nagging feeling in her chest, the one that’s been there since and even before the Nightmare Forest, telling her everyone’s going to leave and it’s going to be her fault because she isn’t good enough.

And she knows, alright? She knows it’s stupid, that her friends love her and Ayda would find her in any lifetime and she’s working on her relationships with her parents. Unfortunately, knowing is not the same as processing, and facts don’t make the fear suddenly disappear.

And it sucks! It sucks so much, because she tries to grin and keep her head up and ignore the thoughts, but sometimes… sometimes it’s really hard.

Something in her face must fall, because Fabian finally looks at her, eye going wide when he takes in her expression. “I mean— you know, it’s—”

“It’s fine, Fabes,” she says with a grin and a wave of her hand. She means it, to an extent. It’s just her own brain that’s the issue.

He stops, finally, leans against the wall with something that might be a sigh. “I’m not worried,” he says, in a tone that does not do him any favors, “I just don’t think they’re… ready. I mean, Gilear? Really?”

Fig laughs. “C’mon, don’t be so hard on him,” she says, even as she swallows down the bitter thought that he wasn’t a great dad when she was his daughter.

Fabian makes a face but doesn’t say anything. She reaches out to bump his shin with the toe of her boot, grins again when he looks back down at her.

“You’re still my favorite sibling,” she teases, and he rolls his eye. “No, come on, you gotta say it back!”

“I don’t have to do anything!” he protests.

“You do, because you love me!”

“I said nothing of the sort.”

They descend into petty squabbling, lighthearted bickering, and Fig grins — for real, this time. Maybe everything isn’t perfect. Maybe the two of them are kind of dancing around the subject because neither of them are willing to acknowledge the elephant in the sterile walls of the hospital hall.

For now, it doesn’t matter. For now, she attempts to goad Fabian into calling her his favorite sister, which isn’t even a contest, Fabes, you already declared the unborn child your nemesis, where are you going—

1. Basically anything by @swordsmans . I adore all their work. Literally anything. If I had to name one of their works as a favorite, probably Ocean Theology.

2. The Story Of Us by @mugiwat Though fair warning, you’ll hate Law’s guts in this story. I wanna punch the dudes face in. Modern AU! Absolutely amazing, and I love mugiwat.

3. You Are All I See by Anonymous. Amazing read and definitely deserves more love. I’m preeeetttyy sure I know the person who wrote it, but it’s anonymous, so I won’t say. It’s another Modern AU too. :)

4. Nothing Less (or how I met the pirate king) by Leoporidae_Lagomorpha—Lord oh good god, I think that was the first ZoLu fanfic I ever read? Definitely one of the first, and it succeeded in converting my self from “nah they’re just bros” to “oh my God they’re in love.”

5. Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by @melodramaticcoffeeaddict A dark one, recommended to me by my dearest beloved, but I adore it so much. (I adore all of these but you get the point.) Like I said, it’s a bit dark, but it’s amazing.

6. riptide by nevermordor. I love first date fics, especially ones with humor, so this one has to make the list.

7. O Captain, My Captain (death and rebirth) by amghost. Protective brothers? Check. Fluff? Check. Some angst? Check.

8. In Cradles We Cry by MiniPandaBuns—hi, uh, I cried. A lot. (I’m a very emotional person alright—) We love us some traumatized Luffy and a comforting Zoro.

9. You Caught Me Off Guard by Zoet9. Zoro is an absolute simp for Luffy. Like. Honeeeey. Also Zoro’s a pillow again and I love that joke.

My dear dear friend. All of my touhou knowledge comes directly from you so I am clueless as to whether or not there is a "correct" answer to this question. And there are two million games in the franchise so I'm not quite sure which characters are canon and which are fan made. HOWEVER!!!!! Going off of the wiki I just looked at, these two are pretty fun. I like the rainbow/gem motif of the first one, and the eyes on the hat in the second one are adorable. Nice shape language too!

Have you ever done any world building or storywriting, accompanied by drawing? If not, is there anything similar you have conceptualized mentally but haven’t yet put a pen to?

I have!! One of my better fleshed-out worlds is an Urban Fantasy story called Greenport, the name of the fictional american city in which most of the events take place.

It's not all that groundbreaking a concept - it holds the classic trope of supernatural beings and elements existing in secret alongside the mundane - but I think I managed to think up a coherency in the way the universe functions that makes it grounded in a pretty realistic way. I have a whole (but simplistic) 'encyclopedia' I started writing on my discord server to explain exactly how it works, of which you may have a sneak peek until I finish it properly:

This is the very basic rundown of the universe, and I go more in-depth in those links about each of the realities, which themselves usually have more links wherein I give details about the species from those worlds, so on and so forth. I love overexplaining details sometimes.

My main characters for this story are Marc and Pernelle, a demon and its summoner to whom he taught the secrets of alchemy. I love them to bits. Marc has a True Form that I had shown you a while back!

My issue with storytelling is that I feel pretty good at imagining universes and characters, the way they work and evolve within their environment... But I feel very lacking when it comes to crafting solid and specific scenarios. I'll tend to have overarching themes and directions, some specific scenes in mind (often 'the cool factor' or 'big character evolution moments'), but building off that into something that would actually function as a Proper Story to share is much more difficult. No matter the format!

But until, if ever, I manage to build this story in a solid enough way to become the novel I imagine it being, I've made it into a universe for my friends and I to play with, in a roleplaying server. It's been dormant a while due to me getting busy with life and all, but... I do have plans. I just have to tackle them and bring it back to life eventually ♥

I don't know if it had been asked or not, but...

I've been having this imagination like; what if there's a failed first Klein Physical Bot prototype who suddenly self-activating on its own one day only to realize it was abandoned and, well, a fail product. What if the first prototype trying to hunt down like, the rest of other functional Klein bot out there because it jealous over the care and affections the other bots getting? Or maybe, worse, not targetting other bots but hunting down Klein Users.

And following that what-ifs...

I was suddenly wondering if Klein (in his physical bot form) is implemented with self-destruction program? Or a weapon? In case, you know, let's just say MC is in a very dangerous situation to the point where Klein engaged in a... Fight, i guess, and had to take drastic measure -like self-destruct for example-.

It's just a what-ifs that's been stuck in my mind, so... sorry if it feels random 😂.

(Btw, i like the game so much T_T. Klein is so, sooo cute! I want to squish him like a jelly 💜. And -i want dolores to step on me too- sera is the best :"D).

in the game's narrative, it's not possible for earlier models to coexist with newer ones, especially when the fully functioning v.0.1 model (the one our MC has) is in use. once a new version is deemed operational, previous prototypes are immediately destroyed to prevent any confusion or overlap within the workers, particularly since they look more or less identical to one another.

but for the sake of angst; that self-activated android would only target the other Klein androids. had it succeeded in 'killing' one, the company would be able to track down that rogue android upon the discovery of a missing prototype and secure it for further inspection to learn from it and prevent future mistakes.

Klein doesn’t quite... have a self-destruction feature, but he is equipped with a shutdown button and the capability to deactivate himself (his system) under specific conditions. the external shutdown button can be used by his user or others when necessary, while his internal shutdown programming is only accessible through his own system. and of course all of these are implemented for safety measures for both klein android and his users

but do you think the others are consciously aware of their levels or do they just kinda vaguely know its easier/harder to do their job when harry is wearing this or that clothing, has this or that thought internalized, etc

HI OMG THANK YOU!! yes they do! not aware of the whole game aspect (except Tutorial Agent who is Very Aware of All Of It), but the skills are often aware of meta things in my fics and headcanons, where they acknowledge things like skill points, tasks, giving harry choices, check difficulties/successes/failures, and a few other mechanics (usually when it'd be funny tbh hgdhjf, i find a lot of humor in leaning into the fourth wall <33)

for clothes specifically, i have a whole bit in Meet the Parts where they suit up in Shivers bonuses so they can go talk to her hjkgjgs

So I am rereading TMI after almost 10 years and my adult brain is processing small details that my middle school brain did not! I never realized how much Izzy has Jace’s back through the first three books especially. I’m on COFA now and Jace is having his dream about stabbing Clary but right before, he wonders if Izzy is the one knocking on his door to bother him. That got me thinking about that sibling pair. We get parabatai scenes between Alec and Jace but I would love to know what Izzy and Jace get up to as a duo? Their one-on-one conversations seem like such a mystery lol and I know you’re an Izzy enthusiast so if you have any headcanons about this please share 🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️

i have so so much love for jace and izzy's relationship, but you're right, we really don't get much in terms of content for the two of them. which honestly?? tragic. not only do they top the shadowhunting charts, but idk there's just something about how the two of them function in life that would breed such great comradery imo like there's a reason they tried something romantic at one point, yk? they're so similar and they both hold the other in such high regard.. okay i could rant about them for a long time, but let's talk headcanons

jace was always quick to include izzy in any games him and alec would play, even when the latter was going through his 'my sister is so annoying' phase. jace understood what it was like to be lonely and didn't want to be the cause of izzy being forced to find some way to play on her own (or with her baby brother) when there was a perfectly good game she could join in on

the two of them did occasionally pull pranks on their older brother too. alec got so pissy about it, but that was of course the best part hehe

along with being pranking buddies, i think they also did a lot of confiding in each other. alec would get more withdrawn (into responsibility, into big brother protector mode, into hiding his crush on jace) and there was just something about a brother that wasn't quite a brother, who wouldn't reprimand you or worry about you or tell mom and dad on you. and of course not having any real friends around kinda made it difficult to have confidants who weren't also your siblings.

so jace was the first to know about izzy's first kiss, and izzy was the first to know about jace's first time.

because jace often felt like he had to look cool and desirable (not sexually just like.. worthy ig) to alec, it was often izzy who he'd open up to. about his past, about how hard the transition to new york was from the countryside, about how left out he felt when maryse wouldn't sing to him etc.

she shared her hair products with him and he would read to her on nights when her parents were fighting and it seemed to affect her more than any of the boys.

when he told her the spaghetti story she tried to make spaghetti for him at least once a month. never with positive results, but she was teasing him for his youthful obsession, so he'd tease her about her horrible cooking <3
