It took Steve about eight months to realize that somehow, some way, they’d never said they loved each other.

Sure, it was pretty obvious, or he thought so. He hoped so.

They were constantly in each other’s pockets, sometimes literally. Eddie liked to rest his hand in Steve’s back pocket when they were at home and Steve was curled up on Eddie’s chest while they watched a movie.

They lived together, cooked together, slept together. Steve had a ring on his right hand that belonged to Eddie. It wasn’t an engagement ring, but it was significant to both of them, and Steve sometimes thought about what Eddie would do if he moved it to his left hand.

But they’d never said the words.

“Oh my fucking god,” he finally said out loud, dropping the spatula he was using to fold the omelet in the pan.

“What is it, angel?” Eddie asked from his spot on the counter, reading a book while Steve made breakfast.

“I owe you a proper confession of my love.”

Eddie set the book down and hopped off the counter. “Robin’s right. I think I am rubbing off on you.”

“No. I’m serious.” Steve moved the pan from the burner so the omelet wouldn’t burn. “I’ve never once told you.”

thank you for both your T sprout redesigns btw. I like the design of the normal T sprout, but I always felt he was sorta lacking on a interesting gimmick, So these are really cool to see!

Also on a similar note here, what would be your take on T Cosmo? semi hot take but I always felt like T cosmo was in the same boat as T sprout.

I mean the only other toons who don't have any sort of special gimmick are the starter toons you get at the beginning, Poppy and Boxten.

As much as I adore the starter toons, and as much as I understand it was probably either a balance reason or a "we ran out of ideas" reason, it always felt kinda odd to me personally to group him and only him in with the starters.

Even if it's like a super simple one like Shrimpo where he's super slow with a long attention span, I would have liked SOMETHING ;-;

His ability would be to give a toon a "Rot heart", basically, gives you food poisoning. Your distractor, IS NOW SLOW. Your extractor, NOW IS DUMB. AND YOUR HEALING NOW HARMS OTHERS.

The way to get rid of this heart, is by either losing 2 hearts, or waiting for 10 floors to have it go away on its own (Mains, y'all are fucked if you get hit by Cosmo)

When a toon has the "Rot heart", their animation would be different (like more tired/weak/limping??). So the others would know that you're on rot time, AND give the toons more soul

(unimportant detail) If there was a sprout which died, and Cosmo spawns, then he'll have Sprout's (vintage/normal) scarf, and look even more in pain :3

I ABSOLUTELY CAN i think theyre super cute + i have a really sweet ticcijack ask i wanna draw soon. im gonna go off on a tangent about their upbringing and how that'd impact their sexuality tho, cuz i think that'd be relevant .

this was written more like notes for a one-shot of them getting together, rather than the format i did for ticciwork

ok. so for starters, toby has a huge wall to get over. i dont really have sexuality hcs for many of the creeps (jane and kate r lesbians, lius a gay man, ninas bi are my only concrete hcs) BUT i know toby's upbringing involved his dad constantly demeaning him for being 'feminine' (anytime he did something with lyra), a pussy, calling him slurs, telling him to man up, insulting any gay man he might see on tv, etc. and toby hates his dad, so he'd have an easy time being like 'ok whatever old man like i give a shit if a guy fucks a guy' BUT he would still feel a ton of guilt and shame if he were attracted to a guy.

jack might be a little similar, not because his dad was constantly berating him, but he still grew up in a pretty traditional house and his uncles/cousins would often tease him cuz he liked to cook and bake and had a lot of empathy. but he also went to university, and while it was still in alabama, a lot of colleges and stuff are a lot more progressive so it wasn't something he dwelled on much. live and let live, basically

AND AS A RESULT, it would be MUCH harder for either of them to make a move. toby would push any feelings down so fucking fast, and jack would just shrug it off and say he doesn't have like.. the "right" to have such emotions. after all he's done.

but they've also had a ton of intimate moments. the amount of times toby's been sat in his boxers while jack has to stitch up his stomach is kinda obnoxious. the amount of times jack checks toby's temperature and scolds him for dumb shit. toby scoffing and grabbing jacks wrist to pull his hand off, but his touch lingers

jack wears his mask a lot, but toby would make a comment. "i wanna see what you look like. it cant be THAT bad." and then jacks like ? asshole. so toby backtracks and is like "ok but if it is bad, thats kinda cool" and jacks like 'dude shut up'. but then toby would try and go on about 'im serious man you're over here stitching me up every other week and im practically the only person you talk to. let me see' and jack thinks about it. maybe not that day, but eventually he would.

if toby has already kinda come to terms with liking guys, OR he's so oblivious to his own feelings, he might say something stupid like "oh shit you're hot dude why do u wear that stupid ass mask" and jack would get embarrassed. and try to put it back on, but toby would snatch it and toss it on some counter and say "ok well now i know so stop wearing it" and jacks like. ok. fuck you. fine.

and toby stares a lot. like. a lot a lot. and jack kind of knows. the echolocation and thermavision helps him know toby's head is turned his way, but he can't exactly pinpoint where toby's eyes are. but he keeps turning away

toby would eventually just ask 'you gotta know im looking at you , right?' and jack is like ...well i thought so. thanks for confirmation. and toby laughs it off but jack is getting embarrassed

jacks feelings would develop slowly and he'd recognize every single moment he feels something. tobys would develop more rapidly, but he has no fucking idea what he's feeling is romantic. he thinks jacks attractive as fuck, he likes intelligent people, he likes how jack challenges tobys toxic ass mindset (only after the fact, hates it in the moment), and jack does a lot for him. patches him up, cooks him good meals.

the ask i mentioned said something about jack touching toby's lip and toby keeps looking at jacks lips and theres crazy tension etc etc etc. i genuinely dont know who would kiss who first.

if it were jack, toby would sit there kinda stunned, and jack would pull away and fumble out an apology. then toby tells him to do it again. and again, and again.

if it were toby, jack would immediately kiss back. he's had it on his mind for a long time, but genuinely didnt think anything would come.

toby would ask what now. he wants jack to set some sort of guidelines. he hates rules but holy shit does he not know how to navigate this, not with jack. jack would shrug it off and theyd try not to talk about it. toby might not come back to see jack for a while, but end up really hurt and dragged there to get his arm popped back into place. and jack would have to ask why he stopped visiting.

toby would admit it, finally. something about 'because i fucking like you and its really fucking weird and i dont wanna ruin the whole medic patient pal thing we got going on but this entire fucking time ive been avoiding you, im thinking about you a hundred times more'. and jack would ask why he thinks its weird. and theyd talk for a while

Barbatos x Solomon relationship hcs

• So for starters.. it's well known that Barbatos and Solomon don't have the best relationship going on (Based on Nightbringer, so I assume they are still strained in OM) but I suppose we can make it work as enemies to lovers.

• At first Barbatos does everything and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING to try and avoid Solomon, to which he of course doesn't seem particularly happy. Though due to the pact Solomon has with Barbatos the sorcerer can use the demon to his advantage.

• The first time they are forced to share a talk is when Diavolo invited Solomon over at the Demon Lord's castle to discuss some important matters. When Solomon arrived he was welcomed by Barbatos (Certainly not warmly) and the demon led the sorcerer to the meeting room. Suddenly Barbatos gets an unexpected call from Diavolo, saying that he'll be late to the meeting and he'd do well to inform Solomon. Barbatos sighs and when the prince hangs up the phone he looks over at the human.

-You are free to go, if you must. The Young Lord is currently busy so the meeting shall be rescheduled for a later hour.

-I'll wait here. I don't mind. –Solomon speaks firmly and doesn't move from his seat. Barbatos glares over at Solomon and moves his gaze away after a minute.

-So, Barbatos. How have you been doing? -The sorcerer questions, trying to engage in a conversation.

-Kindly, Solomon, that's none of your concern. –Barbatos answers and looks over at his watch to check the time.

-I'm just asking. I'm not doing any harm. –Solomon states and moves his piercing gaze towards the demon who was already glaring at him.

-Fine, if you insist. I've been doing particularly great, of course when you are not around. As for when you are... Hm.. I won't offend you, Solomon. –Barbatos speaks in a firm tone.

-No need to be so negative, Barbatos. –Solomon responds and that's when suddenly Diavolo enters the room.

-I'm sorry for being late but I had some matters to attend to. I'm glad you are already here, Solomon. That means we can start right away. – The demon prince states and the meeting begins. Solomon and Barbatos don't talk afterwards.

• As time goes by Solomon does notice that Barbatos doesn't seem comfortable when he is around so he decides to take action. The sorcerer has put his hands on a rare variety of human world tea a few months ago so he decides to send it over to Barbatos as a gift.

• Barbatos won't admit it but he was thrilled to see Solomon's gift and prepare the Young Master's afternoon tea with it. (He tastes it to see whether it's poisoned or not so he could give it to Diavolo safely)

• Solomon continues to send the demon different stuff he knows he is interested in for the next few weeks before Barbatos arrives at his doorstep to thank him. He didn't seem as tense around the sorcerer as he did before.

• The sorcerer was smug about the fact that his plan worked. That he managed to make Barbatos hate him a little less. While Barbatos was actually questioning why he felt less hate towards the human sorcerer just from a few gifts.

• One time the demon and the sorcerer met over at a café by accident but decided to take the opportunity and talk over a cup of coffee. Solomon manages to make Barbatos say why he dislikes him so much and when he does Solomon was shocked at how dumb the reason was. He reassured the demon that things weren't exactly how he thought they were and Barbatos doesn't have a reason not to trust him. Before leaving the café Barbatos apologises to Solomon and says they can be friends.

-It's time for me to leave, Barbatos. But I'm glad we had this talk. –Solomon clears his throat and stands up from his seat and Barbatos follows. The demon walks over to the human and takes one of his hands, bringing it up to his lips and gently placing a kiss to his knuckles.

-I'm sorry for the wrong assumptions, Solomon. Please accept my apology. I would appreciate it if we could continue being friends.

-Of course, Barbatos. Misunderstandings happen. There is no need to apologise. And yes. I would like it if we could be friends as well.

• From that day onward things between those two warm up and they find out that they have similar interests. They go out to hang out from time to time when Barbatos has free time and overtime something changes...

• Both begin feeling slightly different... To say the least. It's not just regular friendship anymore. Things change. They get closer. When they are together they share more intimate and personal conversations and the two of them seem to feel the need to hang out more often.

• One time their hands brushed accidentally and both of them felt their heart skip. That's when they knew. It was.. attraction.

• Barbatos takes matters into hands and decides to tell Solomon about how he feels. Surprisingly for him though he finds out the sorcerer feels the same. And they come to the conclusion that it's best if they explore it further.

•Their first kiss was a few weeks up to a month after Barbatos' confession. Solomon had invited the demon over at his place and during their conversation Solomon couldn't resist anymore. Barbatos was sitting next to him and that was making it harder for Solomon. He placed his hand on the demon's jaw and brought their faces together. Their lips met for the first time in a gentle but lingering kiss. After they pull away Barbatos looks over at Solomon with a faint redness in his cheeks and whispers.

-I've been waiting for this to happen..

•After the day of the first kiss Solomon and Barbatos decide to become lovers. Barbatos insisted on taking things slow and after a week or two into the relationship he mentions that to Diavolo. When he hears that he's so happy that he was about to throw a whole event in the Devildom to celebrate the two lovers. Barbatos manages to stop him from doing so since he wants his relationship to be more private.

•Diavolo loosens his workload over Barbatos so he could have more free time to spend with his partner. (Barbatos hesitated at first but gave in)

•Diavolo makes sure to share the news about the couple with the angels and the brothers secretly from Barbatos.

•As for the couple, they are really happy together. Neither of them expected for this to happen but they don't regret it a single bit.

•Their relationship is beautiful. Romantic dates, warm embraces, slow and passionate kisses which often lead to passionate love making and overall pure joy.

• As for who dominates in bed I would say that is Solomon. (He is the master in the relationship from the beginning after all)

• Barbatos often helps Solomon with his experiments so in a matter of months Solomon's popularity shines like never before. He is the most wise and successful sorcerer ever known.

•Solomon often brings Barbatos different teas from the human world. And Barbatos makes the most delicious tea ever known for his lover. They share it together while cuddling and discussing whatever comes to mind.

•When it comes to nicknames Barbatos calls Solomon: "my dear", "darling" or "my love" while Solomon often uses only "love"

• Solomon randomly walks up to Barbatos and tells him he loves him out of the blue just to make him smile and brighten his day.

For starters I think he would unconciounsly resonate with working/obediant breeds. He really does want to be well-behaved and play by the rules but that's never worked out for him (caugh undiagnosed ADHD/ASD cough). He's a natural follower probably partly because he's been taught that he's always 'wrong' by so many figures in his life, though he can lead quite well when it's called for but he doesn't see himself as a leader. I think he usually gravitates to collie, alsation, shiba, jack russel types but he doesn't really care about breeds.

Doesn't really remember when it all started but he became very aware of it once Walt reentered his life. He had it rough before but good gravy.

He's often in a constant state of survival which doesn't let him slip or be any kinds of vulnerable until he feels safe. But to a certain point his brain just gets overloaded and does a force shut down, leading him to go pretty deep into doggy mode.

It's a big mix of comfort, stress, turmoil and dissociation but it does help him get through things, even if Jesse is a bit ashamed of it. He does quite like it when he can enjoy it though. I truly believe with an outlet/coping mechanism as strong as this, he could have escaped a lot of the show lmfao.

Alternative timeline: he embraces his regression, moves to "Oregon or whatever", starts a new life, does a lot of self disovery and maybe even meets a caregiver/guardian figure.

Still a lot of angst from his journey so far but he's like, safe. Yo.

I do think he would benefit from finding someone really caring though, and open minded. It'd do a lot of good for him to be able to meet someone who doesn't riducule him and instead forms a healthy, balanced bond with him.

And who buys him puppy chew toys (because those ones are softer on teeth)

btw when he's puppymode he has the biggest most expressive puppy eyes. if you care.

Soo! For starters I wanna say the idea came up from a post asking about what the fans would like as Tim's love interests, (other than Bernard) and one option went like cat/feline homme fatale. A la Selina/Catwoman if you will. And I was...??? Instantly hooked. A lot voted for it and I don't know where that post is but no one elaborated on it...?

So I thought... Tim is... Ngl I met him through fanon filled fics and a part of me is fond of that particular character but honestly, that one is NOT Tim.

Then I thought, what if...

And now I have this character in my head: of a rich white/(maybe waisan if we're going full fanon) kid, spoiled and neglected with so much free time and he uses it to stalk people, steal people's identities, information, etc. Just to prove he can.

And he's practically a vessel for all those fanon takes that don't fit Tim's character.

I also want him to start drama and figure out Tim's identity and torment him. A personal rogue he can't shake off. (Also coughcough try to seduce him)

Also, any thoughts on how to call him?

Fuck Verosika. Fuck Verosika and Denis and Stolas and Demetri and Evelyn and Jasper and Rochefort and all of them. Fuck that entire party. Fuck everything and everyone--and most of all, fuck himself. The thoughts rattled around in Blitz's head, sharp as razors. He was too sober for all of this, too sober for this night, for this week, for life. Too sober, but for once, he didn't have the heart to get drunk. He didn't want to. He wanted to be present tonight, to remember all of this, every bit of pain, the humiliation. He wanted to remember seeing Stolas go off to dance with Demetri. Sweet Demetri. God, Demetri had been such a babe, and although their affair had been short, there had been times there when Blitz had thought maybe, maybe...

Fuck everything. And fuck himself. He needed to get out of his head, but he needed to hurt, and he knew where to go for that--and he wasn't even going to have to leave the Pride Ring. Sure, there would be more clubs down in Lust, but Blitz didn't want the general overtones of caring that Asmodeus offered. He wanted someone irresponsibly cruel to hurt him. Usually, he went to Lacerate to be a loving dom, to just do whatever it was a sub needed for the night, to get out of his own head and play with people... but tonight, he went for something else.

Blitz had stopped at home first. He needed the smell of Verosika's party off his skin. He had showered, scrubbing hard, then got dressed in tight leather pants and a black fishnet shirt, with chrome rings for his spines to slide through. He'd put on black eyeliner and he oiled his horns, spines, and hooves with a very lightly scented and pleasant oil--it carried a hint of gunpowder in it, subtly mixed in with the scent of hot stone and cedar. He might be getting ready for a date with someone he cared about--but that, Blitz thought, wasn't likely to happen again anytime soon.

So. All dolled up, he checked in at the desk and grabbed the white wrist-band, a color he'd never actually worn here before, signifying that he was here to sub and that he didn't want someone to ask for his limits, didn't want a safe-word. He wanted complete surrender and didn't care who it was to.

Sinners came to Lacerate; there was always someone here ready to hurt you.

As he drifted through the corridors and rooms, he caught the eye of a handful of subs he had played with before. Inevitably, they lit up, smiling and waving, or at least nodding if their hands were busy, happy to see him. Blitz always smiled back, although it hurt a little more now. When would they start showing up at Verosika's party? He hadn't even done most of those people wrong, he just didn't let them keep him... was that really cause enough to hate someone? To obsess? But Stolas... I hurt him. I hurt Stolas. The only person who matters. And Stolas is going to go home with Demetri, and they're going to fall in love, and...

Good for them, he reminded himself.

Good for them.

When he found someone he wanted, the man seemed surprised. Blitz circled around him, looking him up and down, running his claws over the guy's abdomen--well aware he was showing off his own physique as he did so, letting the undulating blue and purple lights of the low-ceilinged, black-walled room play off of his muscles and spines.

"Blitz? I thought you, you know. Liked to play on my side of things. You good?"

Blitz shrugged and held up his wrist, showing the band. The lights also caught on the Asmodean crystal permanently embedded in the back of his left hand, even when he didn't have a glove on, but he couldn't look at that. "Not really. But I'm not here to be good."

Two hours later and Blitz was exhausted. Shivering, aching, pushed past his limit, he wanted to curl up on the floor and be cry until he either passed out or was sick--maybe both. But instead, he let the guy who had just fucked him up pick him up and make him drink a big glass of water. There was something dissolved in it--crushed up calcium and salt, Blitz realized, and grunted in gratitude that this fucker remembered what Blitz's particular race of imp needed in recovery. He drank every drop, closed his eyes, and although he hated himself a little for this, too, just let himself be held against a broad chest, let himself float a little longer in the safe place, where his body hurt more than his heart, and his mind didn't have what it took to keep up anymore.

Eventually, though, his playmate had to go home. He helped Blitz dress, assured that he was actually out of sub-space before he left, and then he was gone. Gone, and Blitz was left alone. Aching--his back was raw from the beating he'd demanded--and heartsick and sober again.

Maybe it was time to go home.

He sighed, rubbed a hand over his mouth, and closed his eyes. Nah. He wasn't gonna fuckin' cry. Not here. Blitz took a deep breath, steadied himself, then headed out of the private little room and down the hall...

But he heard a whimper.

Real pain. Something about it--that sounded off. He stopped in the hall, turning his head to try and listen, try and pinpoint exactly where the fuck that whimper had come from. There was a difference between pain and pain, one that way too many years as a dom who enjoyed sadism had conditioned Blitz to hear, and that sound was the difference; behind one of those doors, someone was getting hurt in a way they didn't want and couldn't stop.

Instantly bristling, growling, Blitz ripped his white wristband off and dropped it on the floor. He was too tired to fight well, but that didn't fucking matter.

He was vaguely aware of someone else opening a door nearby when he positioned himself to kick in the door in question. "Don't fuck with me," Blitz snapped at whoever had just stepped out into the hall, tail thrashing angrily. He glared at the door, kicked it--and while it thudded in the frame, it didn't open. He could hear the heavy locks holding it in place. "God fucking damn it. Hey, you. Help me kick this door down and I'll give you head after we fuck these fuckers up," Blitz offered, sensing someone near him, but not actually stopping to look before he kicked the door again, harder this time, putting all of his damn fury and heartache into it.

You knew Archie (yes I'm calling the Noble Arcanine Archie, you cannot make me change my mind) was being kidnapped specifically by bandits when it could very well be another member of the Pearl Clan trying to evolve it.

While I don't think there's anything suspicious, since your timeline could just have more information regarding the ancient times than mine does, Rotom insists there's something fishy about it.

today has been such a shit day at work. had to spend an entire day editing a scene involving an argument with lots of yelling and people being pissed, so I was pissed by the end of it, and there was also a lot of incompetency on the client side which just makes me want to freaking shake people sometimes Add to that the constant feel of being completely ignored by a lot of new moots on here, be that after sending out multiple memes and liking starters and just getting absolutely nill in return...like yeah, I get it, just softblock and move on, which I did of course. but it happens sooooo frequently lately and the contrast is so stark between people I've been writing with for years and new peops from the last couple of months/weeks...I'm really considering no longer following back at all. Which is such a shame because there have also been some amazing new peops that are so friendly and creative and awesome and that I would miss out on because of something like this but yeah. I must've softblocked like 50 people lately, which is such a shame, honestly. And I'm not talking about getting nill in like a week or two, I'm talking literally a month+ of waiting and seeing them active on the dash with no reaction to my attempts of interaction whatsoever. And I just don't get it? If you're that busy irl or with ongoing threads that you cannot answer a single meme or do a starter you made a call for, why follow in the first place? Obviously doesn't apply to my current moots btw, so if you're reading this, I'm not ranting about you.
