Can I please rq headcanons for young shisui falling off love with a jinchuriki who is despised by the village?

It has been ages since I got asked like this, hopefully, I will live up to my reputation 😅

The age difference between him and jinchuriki is some two to three years. She was not born in Konha she was brought back by the Konoha nin. Order issued by Danzo. She was more than just jinchuriki, that came to light later. She was also a descendant of the Senju bloodline. Her features are witness to that. Inside of her are locked six tails.

Danzo got what he wanted a Senju under his command water to fight the fire and if that did not go well he could always use beast in the girl. He didn't even have to plant her into Uchiha lines she planned herself. Like a magnet to the metal, she became friends with Uchiha Shisui first. Like a flame love bloomed between them, till Shisui changed, he became cold and distant.

Till news broke out, Shisui committed suicide or at least that is what they have been told. Everyone suspected that Itachi was the one to blame...The last thing that Shisui told her was...

But Shisui was not dead and by the strange turn of events he was alive, he hoped that he could reunite with her alas...She committed crimes she did unthinkable things, in search of him, and she was now despised by the village.

As the Akatsuki started to die one by one. She left the safety of Konoha once the circumstances were favorable. She was fortunate to find the snake Sannin Orochimaru. There she learned the secrets she never hoped to even exist. She also learned that Orochimaru was the one playing Danzo as his figurine. Learning beside him fast she became his favorite "A Snake Daughter" he gifted her with his curse mark, which was now decorating her collarbone. She was ready after that...

Revenge was on her mind. She will not allow Itachi to die he will live. For Itachi living shall be a curse, not death. And Itachi alive shall be a curse to Shisui, to watch him being forced to walk this earth

Hidan has fallen. She was waiting to learn his location where his body was parted and planted under the ground. Using a jutsu she protected herself. Once she got him out of the ground, well just his chest. Cutting it out she had his lungs. She got involved in the battle between Itachi and Sasuke, together with some Knoha nin, injured and with his chakra depleted Sasuke retreated leaving the body of his brother. There was still a little life left in Itachi. She used all of her chakra on him, healing him. When her chakra was gone she used the chakra of the six tails. She was in a coma for six weeks, thanks to that, but still, she learned her limits. Orochimaru had her safe and Itachi contained in one of his chambers. She got the transplantation done after she was back in the world of the living. It was a success. Just in time, Konoha found out about this hideout where they were, and she fled, she could not be caught with the snake Sannin. What happened with Itachi she had no idea and she didn't care. All that he was to her was an experiment.

And Now Shisui was aware of all that facing her, angry, disappointed, disgusted, defeated. And all the love that he once felt burned leaving only ashes of hatred.

"I hate you. I would sooner feed the dog than you. I thought that my presence, that my sacrifice would mean something to you. Why? Am I too just an experiment? Were I that all this time, from the very beginning?" He looked at her from behind the bars, she was bound, more beautiful than ever. Long brown thick hair, almost as curly as his own, pale clean face, dark-brown eyes almost flashing to that dark red of the thick spilled blood. She lifted her face, a cruel sirk decorating her face, he had on each side of her face one red stripe that married both cheeks jawline, the identical stripe she had on her wrists.

"We go separate ways. You are right and I am wrong, but you are the past and I am the present" The Only response he got from her, they hated each other.

Everything between Jayce and Viktor can really be traced back to their childhood inciting incidents and it’s killing me.

Jayce: a miracle saves him and his mom, forever imprinting him with the certainty that miracles do exist, they can be controlled, he can save his loved ones no matter how awful things get, if he can just be smart and bold and quick enough.

Viktor: he saw the horror of what Singed had done—of forcing a creature to live against its will, of the degradation and terror of being fundamentally changed. For a while he thought he understood Singed, when he decided that he was willing to throw away all his principles to survive his own body. But he didn’t, really. He didn’t understand. There was still a line he would not cross. He wanted to die human.

It’s fitting, then, and unspeakably tragic, that Jayce is the one who played Singed’s role in the end. Because you can’t ask Jayce to let a loved one go, when he knows there’s a miracle that can save him, the solution is right there, it will work if you will just let him try—and so he forces a change onto Viktor against his will. He traps him into the Arcane, takes apart and reassembles his body, strips him of his selfhood and humanity. All so that Viktor will live. Singed wasn’t talking about the desperation not to die—he was talking about the desperation not to lose someone you love.

And so Viktor is…changed. He lives, whether he wants to or not.

And so Jayce loses him anyway.

hbomberguy’s latest video on plagiarism has made me completely rethink literature and writing. I have never once so much as considered intentionally plagiarizing anyone or anything, but I think there’s something more that has come out of this: the names of the people who created the works Somerton (and others) ripped off.

Plagiarism isn’t only bad because it is lazy and disrespectful, it’s bad because it buries the truth. If you can’t find a source, the conversation is over. Somerton’s sources are fairly easy to find by simply searching his plagiarized lines, but that isn’t true in most cases. Most of the time, the line from statement to source is a lot less clear.

Today, I was writing a report on English Ivy, which is an invasive species here in the US. I wanted to know when it was introduced and I at last found a source claiming it was introduced to the Americas “as early as 1727” on a .net website that seems quite reputable (it has multiple major universities credited in its home page), but there is no citation for where this date came from. I dug deeper and found a pamphlet created by a city government in Virginia that made the same claim, only to discover the first source linked in their bibliography. Another website (a botanical garden’s page) gave the same date with the same source hyperlinked. Of course, I have classes to attend and things to do and probably not enough time to follow the lines back to where this 1727 date came from, but if I had not just watched this video, I wouldn’t have given that date a second thought.

Of course, it doesn’t matter in the long run exactly what year hedera helix was introduced to the Americas, but it makes you wonder how many facts have been so vaguely attributed that it becomes completely impossible to figure out where they originated (and further, whether or not they’re true at all).
