Based on the dilf recipe cited in my other post, it can be narrowed down quite easily and I've made a scale of Real True Dilfs to Absolutely Not A Dilf. In the middle is what I like to call Future Dilfs

(note: being a dad does not automatically make you a dilf, being dilf is a different energy within. a dad could be a dilf, not all dilfs are dads)

To Me, the peak of True Dilfhood is Steve Yzerman

An Apprentice (nick lidstrom, whom he raised into the next captain, among others)

Battle Scars or Other Injuries (eye injury circa 2000 something, knee injury, cheek scar, etcetera)

Now many of these things could hypothetically apply to any guy you pluck from the nhl and I acknowledge that. However, it's all of these things working in conjunction with each other to make the man that sets him apart as a dilf

So. Who in the current nhl is a dilf?

I've heard what the tags have to say and I will accept Claude Giroux as a dilf. He has body hair, emotional battle scars, and a divorce (from the flyers)

Joe Pavelski I will accept as a dilf, he has an apprentice in wyjo, more emotional battle scars, and I'm almost positive I've seen him with eyes that beg for a moment of relief

Which then brings us to our Future Dilfs. These are the guys who hit a couple of the points but something is lacking from being complete dilfs, whether that be a lack of dilf swag or being too young to count as a dilf

Dylan Larkin has a future as a dilf. He has his children, moritz and lucas, crows feet, dark circles, and the pitiful eyes. "But doesn't that make him a dilf now??" No. Too Young. He needs to bake a little longer before he hits peak dilf

Brady Skjei is not yet a dilf no matter how many times people say he is. He has grey hairs and that's about it. He is a silver fox at best but he is Not a dilf, there's a distinction

And this brings us to our Absolutely Not a Dilf category. These are guys who are too young to count as a dilf, they're the "harry styles with a beard" essentially.

Any of the hughes brothers? Not dilfs, they're 20 year olds with beards or a suit. That doesn't make them dilfs. Perhaps they could be in the future but by god they are Not dilfs at this current time nor will they be dilfs in five years

Cale Makar is not a dilf, that is a baby faced rosy cheeked youth. absolutely not a dilf and it's shameful to refer to him as such

Under no circumstances are any rookies dilfs, be serious.

Bonus special category of Not A Dilf, But Dilf Adjacent is what I like to call Uncle Energy (or cousin)

Auston Matthews has fun uncle energy, but he's not a dilf. He could hypothetically be dilfy in the right circumstances

oooughhhh thank you very much :'3 it's a cliche answer but i just draw a lot since i was a child! i also like to spend many, many time looking for references and ideas. reading comics helped me to generate silly ideas too– i like analyzing poses and expressions (*°▽°*) because starting from how the body moves will "speak" the story/dialogue for me, if that makes sense.

other than that, i love ghostsoap so much (ﾉ´ з `)ノthey bring me joy and i like that feeling so i keep drawing them on and on and on. soooo many ideas, versions, personalities, alternate universes! all the possibilities to draw them in any way RAHHH i wanna draw them forever

Hello! So, I’m one of the critics who like the idea of this game, but also have issues getting into it because I also think that the RO’s are too nice, but the issue isn’t that they’re nice, rather it’s that their kindness doesn’t for the situation?

Maybe I don’t fully understand, but it seemed like the Venegard house was considered an enemy until the treaty was formed and MC had fought in this war.

It’s just a bit odd that the MC was considered a killing machine and slaughter many of Arthur’s soldiers, his people that he cares so deeply about, and he doesn’t have an ounce of resentment or just any flat out anger towards them.

Soldiers that Yniol or Evaine might have worked or trained with. That they would’ve known and knew the families these soldiers came from. They act as if the MC is this poor thing that went through so much, as if their own fellow soldiers didn’t lose their lives to them.

It just feels like the MC is pitied and kinda looked at like a bird with its wings clipped. But that isn’t the case and I just kinda wish it was acknowledged and that the characters had more natural reactions, because them starting off with a neutral if not positive reaction doesn’t fit the circumstances.

The MC, regardless of how they appeared, has killed many of Arthur’s people. To look at someone and not see the blood on their hands, especially given his position and not be wary just doesn’t feel natural.

I’m not here to say that your game is bad or criticize your characters, let me get that out of the way! I genuinely love your writing style and world building and I cling onto every update and I’m very impressed with your story and I’m glad you’re writing the kind of story you want to tell and no one should take that from you!

I just kinda want to offer what I see and maybe see if things like this can be explored or explained in the story, but at the end of the day, this is your story to tell regardless of the critiques.

I definitely see you. One thing I would just like to clarify is that yes, most of the ROs treat MC like a poor abandoned thing because it's what they see. They didn't know MC was fighting. Not even Saraah knew.

So, this is why they treat MC with that sort of... pity. Because to them MC is the last heir to the Venegard House, but wasn't involved in politics and didn't fought, only to be offered as sacrifical lamb in the marriage for the peace treaty. In fact, it's only in the last update that Arthur learns MC not only was on the field but actively maimed one of his closest and best knights. Aside from him and Bedivere, though, no one currently knows MC fought and was so efficient and brutal at that.

Now, I do realize that in the first chapter the ROs might seem too nice. The only one I was thinking about tweaking in some lines is Morien, but the others either see MC as a poor thing forced to marry (Evaine, Arthur), have to be cordial for work purposes (Gwyar) or are cordial because they don't see MC as a threat and even want to make them feel more comfortable (Yniol, Morien).

In light of this, do you still feel the same about the way the ROs treat MC? (Genuinely curious if this changes things or if you still feel something is not how it should be)

i think one thing that anti-theists like.. do wrong (?) is treat religions like they're monoliths, which is impossible. you might find that one denomination is larger than another, but there will pretty much always be other denominations, and varying interpretations within each denomination.

no religion is a monolith, and no religion ever will be one. that's because religion is a personal experience to the individual, who will have their own thoughts and feelings about their faith. that is how people are in regards to everything, because humans aren't a monolith of a species.

i understand it might be confusing, or even frustrating when a religion has many denominations and interpretations, but that doesn't work super well as a reason for wanting to rid of religion. in fact, just yesterday i was told by an anti-theist that 'ideally' the belief of magic would be rid of and traditional religion wouldn't change. i know for a fact that other anti-theists would disagree with that and present their own ideal outcome of anti-theism, because i often browse anti-theism tags to get an understanding of anti-theist beliefs (it's good practice to read up on some opposing opinions to get some standing ground! my dad taught me that.)

it is perfectly okay to be critical of religion, i myself am critical of some religious ideas from varying religions! but when you don't fully understand the religion you're criticizing, and you're getting your information from biased sources, or only reading about limited ideas then you don't have the information to accurately criticize any religion. the idea that all religions are strict monoliths is entirely false, and if someone believes that then their criticism isn't totally credible, especially when they can't acknowledge the good of religion.

in the end, individual religions can not be treated as if they are massive groups of people who all share the same ideas and the same beliefs, harmful or not. because that's literally just not true. if you want to improve religion then actually go forth and try to understand it and listen to different people discuss their religion and it's flaws, trying to get rid of religion will only hurt people. (and i very strongly believe that getting rid of religion will in turn hurt spiritually, and by extension culture.)
