i could honestly make a case for any wxs member in any role but i think the best fits for their characters are emu as the little prince, rui as the narrator, nene as the fox and tsukasa as the rose. or perhaps it's my emu favoritism talking

i'm not even sure how to justify or explain myself for each decision. source: trust me bro. emu has held on to her whimsy but lives in loneliness and rui has had his creativity stomped down throughout his life and nene's timidness gives way to her earnest desire to connect with other people and tsukasa cried and threw up because he's not special. does anyone understand me

again i think there's argument to be had for other roles, i think they could all potentially fit as the narrator in some way or another. or like, tsukasa as the little prince or nene as the rose or emu or rui as the fox could all work too. come into my inbox and send anons saying im super wrong so i have an excuse to talk about it more please.

and with or without siblings, you intended for rickon to learn all about such matters.

i can picture it sooo vividly. you and cregan, freshly married, going about your separate ways during the day — and him stumbling upon quite a sight in the afternoon.

perhaps he wanted to spend the small free time he had with rickon, or you for lunch. perhaps it was just coincidence that brought him upon the courtyard the day after fresh snow.

but here he was; and here you were.

rickon, giggling madly as you shaped the snowball in his small hands. cregan could hear your voice, laced with childlike glee, ordering your sworn shield to remain still. if brought before the gods, cregan would attest to the twitch of the knights lips — to the faint smile upon them.

it is a clumsy throw, brought about with untrained muscles and even less coordination. but your knight remains dutifully still, and it lands upon his lower visage.

cregan feels much like the knight now. a smile wears itself on his lips, and cregan could not tell you when it appeared if his life depended on it. love doesn’t explain itself like that.

he watches just long enough to see rickon tackle you with a fierce hug, and for you to return it without the faintest trace of hesitancy. he’s now aware of his smile when he walks away — and he makes no effort to wipe it from his features.

and when you both tuck rickon into bed later that night (he specifically requested you with his father), as he tells cregan of his day in the snow, you have the faintest blush on your cheeks. that same very smile returns to his lips; it seems intent on not being kept at bay.

you both whisper goodnights to the little lordling as you close the door, and as soon as you do — turning to cregan — his mouth captures yours in a kiss so sweet it reminds you of the pastries stolen from the kitchen by lord & lady stark when sleep can’t be found. you sigh into him, and it somehow makes cregan fall even more hopelessly in love with you.

IDK if your talit (or future ones) can be done in shell stitch, but shell stich is my absolute favorite for scarves and blankets and such because the edges stay straight and it's hard to drop/add stitches.

There's also this Royce chocolate ad with letters from Victor and Yuuri to each other for Valentine's and White Day, which is absolutely adorable

But no, in the dubs he's never refered to as Honest John. His name was adapted to Comrade Fox / Fox / Brother Fox / Mister Fox in the movies. It was only in the comics and further material that he was renamed Honest John. Br'er Rabbit's name also changed to Quincas Rabbit and Br'er Bear's name was Big John in the comics.

Idt they tried to imply they were the same character, I think it was either a coincidence or homage of some sort, who knows. I highly doubt the people translating the comics even knew who Br'er Fox or what Song of the south was, tbh. That movie was never big here (even less so, i mean)

This is smth that most english speakers will never really see in their media, since english is usually the default. Adapting and dubbing over material to a different language is a hella MESSY process, and sometimes we as the public end up confused. Sometimes you end up with bad translations, bad adaptations, or several different studios that dub/adapt the same characters in different ways. Which is why he doesn't even have a canon name in Brazil, the way you call him will depend on which dub you used to watch.

He doesn't even have a canon gender in some places. Latin languages are gendered, and most animals are male. However, Fox (Raposa) is a female word by default. So in a few dubs in Italy he's actually changed to a female to make the translation easier.

So, yep, it was just a messy process and dumb decisions. Im still mad about it tho. I usually just call him Br'er Fox anyway, but if you ask me then his 'canon' name here is just Raposa (Fox) bc thats the dub i gew up with

hx would NOT have signed up for the EXR-P thing if hx knew about the time loop, and for a lot of their time IN the loop they do lament that decision. but after forming bonds with everyone else that opinion gradually shifts. i say gradually because hx has a hell of a time getting used to having people they care about/are close with x)

that being said hx probably couldn't say "this was worth it" with confidence until some time after escaping. takes hxm a while to really PROCESS all of it.

the experience was hell, but it forced hxm to grow as a person, develop hxs own identity, come to terms with hxs past, etc. its the worst thing that will orobably ever happen to hxm but the only other option was to get executed, to die miserable. and now they have a chance to actually live, and be happy with the people they love. or something

hi, did you know that there are lactase pills you can take to mitigate the effects of milk on lactose intollerance? could be a thought if you accidentally buy and/or eat a milk product. you swallow one before or during eating a milk product and it will mitigate some of the negative effects (actual effeciency depends on how severe the intollerance is). I'm mildly intollerant/ can drink a limited amount of milk without issue and it works wonders.

i don't know how it is in Australia but in my country you don't need a prescription for them. Here they cost ~10€ / 17 AUD for 100 of them

I have heard of them... I just dont know where to get them, or if they'd work well...

I can drink enough milk to have a tea without negative effects, or eat a bit of ice cream...

I've been waiting til I have a blood test to be sure it IS lactose intolerance I'm dealing with. My dad said it could be an A1 protein intolerance. I dunno.

It would be nice if they worked though... I don't wanna have to try lactose free cheese or ice cream... I get scared trying new things :( I still haven't tried oat milk despite being around it every day at work
