I think it's so cute how the camera starts out following Yves, but it sort of like attaches itself to Yves's perspective and follows Vincent for the rest of the sequence (up until the last panel)... I feel like we're getting to watch this unfold through Yves's eyes 😭

(Also I really love the outfits you drew them both with?? Yves's sweater + the collared white shirt + Vincent's dark brown jacket... somehow I feel like you really nailed the way I imagine them dressing 😭‼️ If the yvverse series were a TV show I would appoint you to be their outfit coordinator)

ALSO VINCENT. IF YOU COVER WITH YOUR HAND OF COURSE YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE YOUR ALLERGIES WORSE 😭😭😭 !!!!! I am so happy that you drew out this scene in particular (looking back, I almost forgot just how inadvisable his method for covering was??) The hand placements in this are SO GOOD... the way he starts off with one hand and eventually covers with both... the sort of self-conscious way in which he hides his face from view while he's sneezing?? 🥹 Once again you are such a master of portraying physicality!!

Speaking of which–you do such a lovely job at like, making Vincent look progressively ~more~ allergic over the course of the second page 🫣 I'm such a big fan of his expressions here and how he starts off relatively unaffected but ends up teary-eyed and with his entire face flushed... the way you drew his creased forehead and slanted eyebrows... he looks sooo allergic + miserable 😭🥰🥰 (You truly did deliver on the Vincent suffering 🙇‍♀️🙏 I will be feasting on this for weeks to come)

LAST THING (I apologize for leaving comments half a mile long): I NEED TO SCREAM ABOUT THE LAST PANEL TOO. Yves standing in frame w Vincent... I cannot get over how close they're standing and how he's peeking over Vincent's shoulder?? THEY'RE SO CUTE???? 😭😭😭 I WANT TO WRITE THEM RIGHT NOW OMG. When Jun Ho finds the island and after it is destroyed (as we all in the fandom agree that there is a kill switch), In Ho escapes. Jun Ho still does not reveal the Frontman’s identity to Gi Hun, because he does not want to upset his crush. Gi Hun moves to USA to be near to his daughter. But he does not completely abandon his mission to find the VIPs. He is progressing slowly. In Ho, being the obsessive lover he is, is constantly stalking Gi Hun, he has spies on Gi Hun to give all the info of Gi Hun’s daily life. He cannot wait anymore and he has to talk to and touch the man. He decides enough is enough. One day when Gi Hun is at a shady bar, he meets Gi Hun as if it is by chance.

“Gi Hun-ssi? Is that really you??”

“Young il-ssi???” Gi Hun is utterly shocked and happy.. he never thought he would see one of them again. Not after everything was burnt to ground.

“I am so glad to see you..” he goes in for a hug while Gi Hun was still plastered to his seat.

“I am so glad to see you too…” Gi Hun is still in shock. He doesn’t not remember last time someone made him feel so happy, except for Gayeong, just by a hug. He just hoped he doesn’t ruin it with his stupid feelings that started to develop during the games. His friend, someone who trusted in him, someone who he let down and someone who cannot take his eyes off of Gi Hun (of course Gi Hun noticed). But he has a wife and probably a kid by now.

They sit at the bar and chat. Young il tells him that his wife and unborn child died and that he had nothing to get back to in Korea. He told Gi Hun that he was shot, but was not dead. He was able to gain consciousness and found an escape route. He said that he got the prize money as he is the only player who escaped the island alive before it blew up. He gave detailed account of all the events that led him to the sea from the Island and how some random boat rescued him. Gi Hun is so in awe of Young il who single handedly escaped the death island, with a gun shot wound.

While they were talking all this, Young il slowly slides his hand to Gi Hun’s “I never thought I would see you again, Gi Hun-ssi. I am so glad you are alive. I feel like I can still stay a human, because you are here with me.” Those last words came from In Ho and not Young il.

Gi Hun has no words. He just stares at Young il.

“Please let me treat you to some soju at my place.” Young il offers.

“But I am supposed to buy soju” Gi Hun remembers their little agreement.

“You can pay here.” Young il squeezes Gi Hun’s hand gently.

Gi Hun just nods and pays.

I would love for anyone to write a fanfic of this…

(SPOILER WARNING to people who haven't read your story) I SWEAR to GOD!!!! This is borderline anon-hate with my current state of mind after finishing The Raven and The Snake over this weekend. I finished it in two days. I'm a mess. I've even started making a playlist because I feel like I can't properly enter reality again. I'm supposed to be writing my bachelors thesis right now,,,, what have you done to me!!!!

I loved it so so so much, and I am very mad I cannot have a collectors edition hardback version of it on my shelf. There are many many moments that keep replaying in my head, and scenes that I saw so vividly when reading through it. The first imperio moment and Sebs shadow and imperio-green eyes as Clora was held captive, and the entire scene in the repository and how I was physically shaking as I slowly realised that Seb had made a fucking horcrux, and when it was CONFIRMED the GASP i GUSPED. It was so perfect, and so very Sebastian; because OF COURSE he made a horcrux (lowkey hot, sue me).

And the scene where Clive realised Seb straight up just died for his daughter without knowing he would be back, oh my dear lord.

And the idea of Seb being seen as a 'Ruffian' and that little mamas boi bitch of a Henry thinking his hand-me-down-riches, muggle ass would be preferable to a powerful wizard. I secretly wished they didn't have to keep magic a secret so Henry could have known just how inferior he was. AND SEB APPARATING SO FAR UMPH the skilllll.

I could go on and on and on, and maybe I will some other time in your inbox when I have another mental breakdown.

And now I'm also almost done with the small sequel. Just taking a break to bombard you with this unhinged message of mine. And how you draw Sebastian is so fucking good. It's actually what got me reading in the first place. I see your version as being in a completely separate universe from the game, cause the way you draw him just has that something, and it's not the same anywhere else. It certainly doesn't help my obsession that my own boyfriend has the same features and colour palette as him, now I think I might even use your art as inspo for next time we need wardrobe additions.
