I'm honestly speechless... Thank you, thank you so much to all the wonderful folks who donated. Whether your contribution was $1 or $150, all of you helped me, my dog, my cat and my partner stay housed this year and I'll never be able to thank you enough for that.

To the people who didn't have the means but did reblog, you also have my heartfelt thanks. Together, all of you helped put my post out there.

Fingers crossed my partner and I find a way to make income this year. I feel more determined than ever not to waste everyone's kindness, and to pay this forward someday. Once again, thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart.

I know money's tight these days, and I hate that I have to do this at all, but I'm getting desperate and there's not a lot of places that'll take me and my dog (for context I live in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, a heavily Muslim area. Dogs are considered haram, so it's a huge pain to find a landlord that will let me bring her with me).

Rent is paid per year and upfront here- it's a little over $1.5k for me. I got most of it- and let me tell you, as a uni student with no real job, it was hell scrimping and saving to make it- but I'm still about $400 short. My partner was supposed to help me make half of that rent, but ever since he got laid off he's had trouble finding work.. I ended up putting in my half of rent plus some of his but it's still not enough.

December was already pretty miserable- I lost my grandpa suddenly in a freak elevator accident and was shipped off immediately after to do my mandatory community service (graduation requirement). Shit way to start the new year, really.

Since I'm from a third world country every dollar really does count for a lot :") for scale, $5 USD converted to IDR would be enough to get me a steak at a nice restaurant. $400 USD is the equivalent to a little over a month's salary working in the capital city. If you can't donate then please reblog or share, there's a small chance somebody who can help will see it.

Funny inside for my username, I originally wanted my signature to be a flip flop hence the name flippyflopp, but I couldn’t figure out a way to draw one. Like I was taking so much time to draw a flip flop when it was faster to just write out my username. I even thought about having my signature mascot being a seagull holding a broken flip flop…but again, so time consuming and then I came up with Sebcroc and he’s become the icon of my account ever since.

I’m… I’m sorry what…? There’s fucking how many of you here? I cannot begin to express how greatful I am to absolutely every single one of you.

Incoming sap, this is your warning. I had thought I was never gonna return to writing, I’m gonna be honest. I had experienced some pretty bad toxicity in other fandoms.. Completely wiped blogs and only used this one to read. I took a two year hiatus from writing and was terrified to get back into it, but I am so so happy that I did.

Not only do I get to share what I make with all of you I have met some amazing amazing people I am so absolutely fortunate to call my mutuals. People who have become genuine friends on and off this app. WHO thought that some silly little anime about boys beating ass could come to this?
