Disagree

Deyana took in a long breath. “Don’t say that,” she said at length.  He frowned. She sighed again.  Deyana broke the silence when neither spoke for a minute.  “What do you want from me?” She whispered.  “Nothing,” he answered immediately, but she just shook her head.  Before Deyana could disagree, Zinc’s communicator began to buzz and flash. He jumped up, stuttered out an apology for startling her again and another for having to leave so abruptly, and ran down the far hall. 

Direction

Wow. None of my most recent wips have this word in full.

In a breath, she began marching with purpose to the central room of the ship—where Deyana was. Zinc paled in realization.  “Check the servers again,” Marciel was saying as she stormed out of the hall. “The connection is—” “Wait!”  Marciel turned on a dime, her cold expression now directed at Zinc.  “Sorry—” he gulped, “I—whatever you’re about to do—” “Are you going to tell me how to run my ship?”  “N-n-no ma’am!”

Guess

Zinc looked up at her in awe. “You can tell all of that just from looking at it?”  Diana averted her gaze, dropping it back to her hands fidgeting with the bowl. “It’s just educated guesswork. I work with clay.” She paused, turning the bowl so that the glaze could catch the light. “Worked with, I guess... The glaze seems cheap, too,” she added before holding out the bowl.

“Clearly the solution is to keep the muzzle on then, no?” “And how has that been working for you?” He asked cheekily.  Marciel glared at him. 

Woah this was actually pretty neat. Apparently I only have one singular instance of the word disagree in RLL so far lol. "Guess" came up the most.

What’s a book you’re currently reading?

- Rhythm of War - Brandon Sanderson - Ender’s Game (for the nth time)  - will be picking up either Love Does (Bob Gogh) or God Has a Name (John Mark Comer) for a reread because I need something healing after watching Shiny Happy People. Though Mere Christianity mightn’t go amiss either tbh. 

What’s a game you’re currently playing?

Rimworld has been an obsession for me lately! 

Whats the most recent movie you watched?

Everything Everywhere All At Once. I finally saw it, cried like a baby, crops watered, skin clear, etc. etc. 

Are you watching anything on tv or listening to any shows?

Just finished Shiny Happy People last night and it was hard to watch. Don’t regret it, but huge CW for DV & SA. And it just hit close to home for my own childhood and I found it triggering. Again-- don’t regret it and would recommend because it’s really well made and we need to listen to the survivors of IBLP, but i if you check it out just do it with a huge ‘proceed with caution’ sign (especially EP2) 

On a lighter note @ellrond and I have been going through all of Charles Edwards’ eps in Downtown Abbey together and thirsting and it’s been a blast :D

What’s something you learned recently?

The main thing that comes to mind is all about the Lumberjills of WW2! Also learning about how the fall of the Soviet Union and forced integration into capitalism for Russia directly led to the formation of the Russian Mob uhhhadsghhh..... yeah. That whole period of history was wild. 

Have you had any water/water-based liquid today?

Nope. Just coffee. Working on it though!

Nope, too young, too many issues, not enough money

I don't really use a lot of sarcasm, mostly because I find it hard to recognize it in other people's speech

The nose & whether they are open-minded or not

Not really... I guess I can draw? I have a good dexterity so I'm not bad at precision work involving my hands (embroidery etc), but none of this is really a "special" talent

Relationship status: godspouse (like a nun, but pagan) = basically very married (11 years this summer) but also not interested in real human people. Celebrity and fictional crushes are not considered human people, they are imaginary as far as I'm concerned.

Favorite color: green! Anything green, ever. Black is the close second, but green all the way all the time.

Song stuck in head: it's still Kalinov Most, I'm sorry. I guess Колывань, but they are changing from time to time. Иволге Петь maybe.

Last song listened: it is Electric Callboy "Fire & forgive" (powerwolf cover) as I am writing this right now.

Three favorite foods: anything potato, mozzarella sticks, pizza and Cinnabon. It's four, but potato is everything forever and three others are fancy foods at times when I'm suddenly being rich. Also ice cream, that I can eat at any time of year.

Last thing googled: I turned off history in my settings, so I have no idea. Most likely it's the translation of some word I managed to forget.

Dream trip: Norway & Iceland. Second best is Ural, Dyatlov's pass, third best is Chernobyl. Out of the trips I've made, I'd say kayaking on the Pra river in 2009, and cruise ship through Ladoga & Onega in 2012, experience of a lifetime.

Anything I want rn: to sober up so I can go to sleep. I'm very bad at sleepovers and at sleeping drunk.
