Three Ships:

Swanqueen

Regina and Emma were directly responsible for 13 year old me being comfortable admitting I liked girls. Regina Mills has been at the center of who I am for over a decade, and I don’t think I’ll ever let her go. These two are part of me, and I love them so much. Plus me and Emma share a birthday, and the show came out the day after my 13th birthday so it basically belonged to me (in my adolescent brain). They also are responsible for making me become obsessed with the enemies to friends to lovers dynamic haha (I am mentally unwell)

Mumbroom

This is my biggest ship for The Worst Witch 2017 fandom, I absolutely ADORE Hecate and I love her with Julie more than anything!!! It’s not as popular as some other ships in the fandom, but I kind of like that it’s just me and a few other people who ship it tbh. I like the dynamic of a witch dating a non magical, and I love mumbroom specifically because while Julie is Mildred’s actual mom, Hecate sort of becomes Mildred’s school mom while Millie attends Cackles Academy.

Mystrade

I think this ship started out as a bit of a crack ship??? Not just for me, but for the whole BBC Sherlock fandom really. But it very quickly became just as real as johnlock (Sherlock x John) and even though it was never quite as popular, is still my favourite BBC Sherlock ship. Mycroft has always been my fav character from the show, and I think he deserves happiness! Plus Greg is one of the most wholesome characters in the entire show, and even though he has very little scene interaction with Mycroft, they still somehow make so much sense.

First ship: Swanqueen & Snamione (these happened basically simultaneously). Is snamione embarrassing? Yes. Moving on now thanks

Last song: Bringin’ Back Christmas by Ryan Reynolds from the new movie musical Spirited 🫢 guys this is so embarrassing I’m sorry… I actually really enjoyed this movie tho💔

Last movie: Thunder Force (2021) with Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer!!! It’s so sososo good btw, I’ve seen it a bunch of times lol. I watched it a couple days ago with my mom, it’s such a funny movie! I’ve also watched The Addams Family & Addams Family Values in the last week, but those are total classics that I’ve also seen a million times before lol. I love movies!

Currently reading: The Ministry of Unladylike Activity by Robin Stevens! It’s not as good as the Murder Most Unladylike series but it’s still a good addition to the world she’s built in her previous series.

Currently watching: Emergence. I watched it when it first started airing on tv in 2019, but I’m rewatching it with my aunt :) I love you Allison Tolman!!!

So this is my very first OC fic ever! I’m so excited to finally publish this story, it’s been in my drafts for months and months. No, I don’t have a face claim, and I’d rather not have one. Just for the purposes of you using your very own imagination. I find that way a bit more fun, and less confusing. And now for their name... DRUMROLL PLEASE....

Allison Palmer.

Well, that was probably extremely anticlimactic and not as exciting as I had intended it to be, but I love the name Allison. Anyway, now that I’ve finally introduced you to my very first OC, it’s time to learn a few background things you may need to know about this series..

INFO -

For starters, the name Le Goût, is French for The Taste. It’s pronounced; “Le-ayy G-oou.” Le Goût is the famously known (fictional) restaurant that the Palmer’s founded three, going on four, generations ago. Its located in three locations; France, Spain, and of course, the United States. This is an AU, alternate universe, therefore Dolan Twins YouTube has never existed (sadddd).

There will be swearing, alcohol/drug abuse, mentions of depression & anxiety, and smut.

I really hope you enjoy yet another Grayson series. I think this is somewhat unique, I’ve never really seen a chef!grayson fic before. For once, I will try to consistently publish, I tend to get distracted and forget about some of my series— or I get bored.. if you’d like to be tagged in the very first part, let me know! We would sit in the dark and listen to the next song through speakers that connected to the stage mics, which was Lida Rose, my favorite song from the musical.

Honestly this may seem like a very “cheesy” thing to say but every single person I’ve ever written with has helped me better my writing & myself. I look back at my older blogs & die a little inside out of second-hand embarrassment ( like how would people write with me? ) but it’s so nice because it means I’ve come so far ( hopefully! ) as a writer! Every single person who’s written with me helped me hone in my character’s voice or a specific style of writing just a little bit more, helped me get over my fear of not being good enough or whatever because clearly, someone thought I was.

But I do have to give a few shout-outs. Which … got long so they’re under the cut. If you don’t care about the whys, they’re @jedichosen, @heleads, @moonhurts, @croianam, @ourpyrrhicvictory, @scarfwere, @oliverqxeen.

@jedichosen — Idk if she wants me to tag her other blogs but This list ( & probably I ) wouldn’t be here without Sari. Sari is everything. We met on my old Allison blog where she scared the hell out of me on her Tom Riddle blog & then I made a Mary Stuart blog & she came into my inbox with all caps excitement & that was … literally it. We screamed over the show & our children & literally it was magic. Sari & I clicked, we wrote 2534634 threads ( one of them an actual novella I kid you not ) & this was where I truly felt like I got to expand my writing & become a better writer. To write so consistently with someone, getting to explore a million different facets, aspects, & timelines of a character really helps you not just better learn your character but yourself as a writer. To feel so comfortable with someone that it was never a scary thing to write a reply to but like you were dying to get something to them is just amazing & I don’t know what I would have done without Sari because Sari was the one who made this experience literally something else. We were always on Skype calls, yelling at each other over the awful thing the other had written, & just — idk it’s just something else when you’re basically best friends offline & then write a ton of things because both end up being something more than you’d expect because of the other. She was the one who encouraged me to make my multi because I was feeling stuck on Allison & she has been my supporter & writing alongside me always. Even if we die on our blogs we’re still always in touch & I have become the writer I am, probably the person I am too because of Sari. I love Sari more than I can find words — & I’ve found quite a lot thanks to her.

@heleads — Moony has been with me quite literally from day one. She was the person who actually gave me a chance when I applied to her rpg a million years ago even though the “sample” I sent her was probably like three lines long ( I had no idea what a sample was ok I don’t know how she even gave me the time of day I’d have deleted that “application” & pretended I never got it ) & she welcomed me into the rpg with open arms. She was one of the friendliest people ever, but also one of the most talented, as I got to experience firsthand. She responded to my sad starters, & I wrote my longest ever stuff with her first. We had a hella long thread thing & an almost ship that everyone loved & then I was able to find her on indie & it was the most amazing thing ever. She never never ceases to astound me with her talents. Even if we haven’t written together ( rip we need to change this ) it doesn’t matter because her understanding & writing of her character is incredible & just by looking at her stuff I become a better writer tbh. Ily to the moon & back ( hehehe see what I did there. )

@moonhurts / @heartcoils — KJ has been there since day one of indie, even though she didn’t know it. Like honestly? I have been stalking — I mean loving KJ since the second I made my first ever indie blog, Matt Donovan. She was always so inspiring? Her writing was just breathtaking, her as a person was just one of the most amazing people ever. Like she would bring positivity & class to my dash man, there was no other way to put it. Her understanding of all her characters leaves me absolutely in awe, & probably a lil jealous lbr, but also pushes me to want to do better. We may not have written nearly as much as I would like but that’s mostly because she has always been so so talented I used to be terrified? But the few times we did, I have had to really think about my words, our characters, & every time I’ve written with KJ, my writing has become that much better. I love KJ because it’s not just about the writing although I did initially fall in love with her writing ( & her writing teaches me so much every day tbh? ) KJ has been one of my closest friends on this site — & it’s because we’re friends off it. We weren’t always close but we were always sort of on each other’s radars & I always felt like there was this unspoken pact of we were there for the other if we ever needed it. We would go months in between texts but it didn’t matter. And now we go like … at the most a week, if that, between conversations. Being able to talk about my thoughts, whatever they may be, or throw around ideas or plots or just talk about different characters & dynamics so comfortably & to have such intelligent conversations is amazing. KJ throws back everything I lob at her tbh plus more & it’s always made me a better person — which makes me a better writer too ( because that’s what this is about. ) I love you so so much. You’re amazing, you’re incredible, & I wouldn’t nearly enjoy this site as much as I do without you. It’s like … you give it … a soul. I love you.

@croianam​ — KAY! My darling, beloved Kay. It’s so astounding that I was able to, by some crazy chance, find Kay again. I have known Kay since my second ever rpg ( first Marauders’ Era — once you go marauders there’s no going back amirite? ) Kay was literal sunshine in our ooc chats & I remember my awful awful days ( it was a hard time ok ) becoming a million times better because she’d been around. We got to talking, we got to texting, we got to modding another marauders’ era rpg, & have written either with or about each others’ characters it’s amazing. The dynamics that are brought about by Kay’s magic is something else. I ended up writing the brother of one of her characters & I actually got to explore so much & learn so much as a writer ( & get to go into so much more depth ) because of the special sibling bond, especially because I adored the writer so much. Tbh the love in the thread was real, just different because of Kay. Kay makes writing seem effortless, she’s fearless, has never let anyone get to her & has always been unapologetically awesome. That’s taught me a lot honestly, & every single meme she’d respond to ( & kill me in the process ) would teach me a little bit more tbh. We used to text a lot during said difficult time & I genuinely remember every day & most conversations we had. This may seem irrelevant because it just shows how amazing a person she is but really, I was able to become a better writer through overcoming a lot of my difficulties & I wouldn’t have done that without Kay, no joke. I may not have written nearly as much as I’d like with Kay but she’s taught me so much as a writer & friend & there is literally no way I can explain just how fantastic a person she is.

@ourpyrrhicvictory — Listen, we may not have written much since the rpg we both happened to end up on ( also marauders’ era what a surprise ) but writing with Oso was literal magic ( haha get what I did there? ) I remember the words literally coming out of places I never knew existed from a character I had loved & adored & written for years. Why? Because his writing brought it about, his incredible characterization & understanding of a character that I’d merely glanced at but he’d given such depth to. Being able to write alongside someone like that? Makes you a better writer, made me a better writer & it was one of the best things ever. I cannot wait for the day I am not trash ( I don’t know how he puts up with me tbh ) & we can write 346645 things but I’m also still terrified of how amazing he is so? There’s that.

@casualtyloss / @scarfwere / @erchommai — Cas! Cas is such a sweetheart, has been the kindest most wonderful person ever. I don’t know how I found Cas, I don’t even remember it at all I just know that Cas & I just … found each other & every single thread I’ve written with Cas has just been so easy but also made me think & I mean really think about my character. My favorite thing, to this day, is our thread with her Sebastian ( who is both terrifying & somehow endearing in a way only Cas can do it tbh. ) Cas makes me think about not just my character but the characters she writes. She’s able to bring about this atmosphere & this — this something that makes writing both easy & challenging but both in the best way possible. She’s always down to write my favorite most obscure stuff & has always been so so kind? Like it takes me a long time to really feel comfortable with someone & fear I’m not bothering them but with Cas? Like tbh I know I bother her but I’m only slightly afraid which is a step up tbh. She’s made me such a better writer, she also used to be the reason I’d get through my 573498543 drafts because I would set her draft for last & that was my motivator. If that doesn’t have incredible writing partner written all over it, idk what does.

@waldosiia / @oliverqxeen — Hehe she’s going on here because she’s amazing & even though I haven’t known Kristen as long as anyone on this list it sort of feels like I do? The first time I spoke to Kristen we both ended up staying up until a ridiculously late hour but it was because neither of us never wanted to stop? It was lots of caps, lots of yelling, & lots of love tbh. Talking & writing with Kristen has just felt … not easy, not effortless because I do have to think which definitely helps me better my writing but just … idk it’s just amazing. It falls into place, we both end up screaming at the other once the replies are out, & we both love so many of the same things. I said earlier, I rarely feel comfortable enough with someone on here without feeling like I’m bugging them but with Kristen it’s like? I don’t feel that. Mind you it took me forever because she was so amazing & both of us kind of loved each other from afar but just, she’s got such a natural grasp on any character she writes ( have you seen her Oliver? Daaamn. And her Caleb? I cry because I genuinely hear Graham’s beautiful voice. That’s skill ) & she helps me by writing her characters so perfectly that I have the best sort of person to write with, best character to build mine against if that makes sense? Idk. OOC relationships always make the in character writing a million times better & I’m so lucky to have both with Kristen & she’s just amazing ok.

1. The Search Party - Harry Potter; Harrymort

It was a black and misty Forbidden Forest that they entered in search for Harry.

Voldemort’s corporeal patronus- they hadn’t even believed he could cast one before now- had burst into the Great Hall only a short time ago, and they didn’t have to hear his message to understand that something was wrong, for the patronus itself… was a stag.

2. Untitled (WIP) - Harry Potter; Mortal Immortals

Tom and Sanguini were arguing again. And while this wasn’t new, it was extremely annoying.

More annoying than usual, actually. Harry frowned. He looked around at his surroundings- the library, currently, but he’d moved twice already to avoid his two lovers- and noticed that everything seemed… darker, faded. His depth perception was off, and it felt like it was raining in his head despite the weather outside being sunny.

3. Valour (WIP) - Harry Potter; Harrymort

The dream came every night, and it was always the same.

Lying in a coffin, expensive, fit for someone more deserving. Inside the coffin, blood. Filling. Overflowing. Hands clutching a lily. The lily floating to the top but the hands remaining still. Cold. Dead.

A name.

4. The Teaching Assistant (WIP) - Harry Potter; Tomarry

Third year had started off, well, pretty horrible to say the least. So far Harry had blown up his Aunt, ran away, found out that the notorious serial killer and former servant of Voldemort, Sirius Black, was after him, and he’d also managed to faint on the train after being drained of happiness by a dementor.

Not a good start by any means.

So it really shouldn’t have surprised Harry to find that, upon entering the Great Hall, things could get worse.

5. Kings of Flowers and Skulls - Harry Potter; Tomarry

The King of Flowers ruled in the Garden. His rule was peaceful, for his subjects were every variation of every plant in his vast, beautiful garden. Many paths wound their way through tree-lined arches and bridges of vines over the rivers where the water hyacinth grew, but the only path that lead to the King’s throne was the one lined with poppies.

His throne was elevated in an atrium of fountains and sunflowers, with lilies wrapping around his plinth and resting against his feet. Those who whispered about him and his garden, for he was known as a cautionary tale that only few believed, knew him as the King of Flowers. But his plants knew him as Harry Potter.

6. Did You Find Your Bitch in Me (WIP) - Harry Potter; Tomarry

One could argue that Alpha, Beta, and Omega status was somewhat important in the society Harry was used to- the so-called muggle society as he’d learned to call it. Naturally, it became just another thing the Dursleys could punish him for.

7. Untitled (WIP) - Harry Potter; Tomarry/Harrymort

Harry thought, from what the Dursleys said, that it would be dark and dingy. Dungeons, hanging chains, no respite from the cold and damp.

Well, so far he was partly right. As he stepped out of the car, he was drenched immediately in the cold evening air. Little Hangleton, and most importantly, Riddle Manor.

Little Hangleton had once been a quiet twin village to Great Hangleton, Harry knew, but since Voldemort had risen to power the two had merged into a large, bustling city that rivalled even London. As the day was darkening, the night lights were switching on to reveal glamorous skyscrapers some distance away from the manor that they were parked by. Harry could even make out the silhouettes of the three biggest pagodas in the city.

He shuddered.

8. Everything’s Fine in the Beast Division - Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts; Tomarry

It was raining outside when Harry took the lift up to Level 4 of the Ministry of Magic, except it wasn’t technically actually raining and ‘outside’ meant in the fake windows of each of the ministry’s department levels.

9. You Know Me - Harry Potter; Tomarry

“Ron.”

“Not now, Harry, I’m-”

“Ron.”

“Give it a minute-”

“Ron.”

“Honestly Harry, stop hitting me-! Fine, what is it?”

10. To Be Set Free - Harry Potter; Tomarry

The day started, as days usually do, with breakfast. If Harry Potter’s parents hadn’t died in a carriage crash when he was a baby, he might have been eating said breakfast, but Lily and James Potter had died, and so Harry was making breakfast for the Dursleys instead. As he always did, he accidentally made a little bit too much so that he could eat the leftovers later, seeing as the Dursleys hadn’t let him eat with them since he was very young. The Dursleys knew about this, but didn’t stop him as long as he finished every other chore they gave him first.

11. I Could Have Been With Him Forever - Harry Potter; Tomarry/Harrymort

It was not drawn out, nor was it peaceful and accepting, but by this point Tom was used to Harry defying all of his expectations.

Harry’s hands clutched futilely at the bunch of cloth over his wound, trying to keep the blood from pouring out to no avail. His eyes were wide and panicked, and this almost gave Tom hope, for Harry wanted to live and he was not one to lose battles like these so easily.

But Harry wasn’t quite fighting anymore.

12. Untitled (WIP) - Harry Potter; Tomarry

Harry noticed the mysterious, handsome man lurking around the village before it started. ‘It’ being the snakes, of course.

He had seen snatches of the man here and there, just enough to recognise him every time Harry caught a glimpse of him. It wasn’t often. Weeks went by without Harry seeing him, and then on a dewy morning on his way to the shops there would be a flicker in the shadows, and for a second Harry would gaze into those dark eyes before they disappeared again.

13. Thank You Shakespeare - Harry Potter; Tomarry

Harry looked up from his comfortable position in his armchair to find Tom staring at him once again, an indecipherable look on his face.

They spent a lot of their evenings in the Room of Requirement, as neither could enter the other’s common room. The Room itself had subsequently morphed itself into a cosy mixture of the two dorms. Harry felt mildly guilty for not spending quite as much time with Ron and Hermione, but he saw them every day and they insisted they understood, though neither were truly comfortable with Tom yet. Privately he thought they could use the time without him to finally come to terms with their less-than-platonic feelings for one another. When Harry mentioned this to Tom, Tom snorted and then tripped Hermione into Ron’s arms the first opportunity he got. It was endlessly amusing to Harry, but unfortunately (and not so surprisingly) the flushes on his friends’ faces weren’t enough to clue each other in, so they were still dancing around each other.

So yes. Evenings in the Room of Requirement. With Tom. Who Harry certainly wasn’t harbouring deeper feelings for.

14. All Because of an Orange Sky (WIP) - Harry Potter; Tomarry

It began mid-day, as far as anyone could tell. It started with the sky turning orange.

“An illusion,” some said. “It’ll be gone by tomorrow.”

It was not gone by tomorrow.

The three villages- that is to say Little Hangleton, Little Whinging, and Godric’s Hollow- did not panic yet. A small superstitious few lay flowers and other tributes at the shrine in the centre of the three villages, but most remained adamant that the bewitchment would pass. This time, the deadline was the end of the week.

At the end of the week, the sky remained orange.

15. Just a Normal Tuesday Night - Teen Wolf; Stallison

“What time is it?” Allison groans, stretching out and knocking into Stiles, who’d arranged himself into a sitting position next to her. Her neck aches a little but she’s still in the hazy bubble of sleep and doesn’t open her eyes, instead reaching out for Stiles’ hand.

Stiles turns his head, if the sound of his head moving against the stone wall tells her correctly, and Allison still doesn’t open her eyes. “It’s half past twelve. Probably a.m.”

It’s not Stiles’ words that break through to her, nor the oddness of his action, but rather the tired and slightly miserable way that he spoke, and only a few seconds after does it occur to Allison why. She opens her eyes and bolts straight up as her memories return to her.

16. Songs of the Day and Night - Professor Layton; Descolay

They’d been expecting the invasion from the neighbouring kingdom for a while now. King Descole’s army had started to overrun King Bronev’s after months of fighting and Hershel just wanted it to be over. Despite what the servants had to say about it, Leon made him stay in the palace. None dared argue with their cruel King, and he pointed out that since Hershel was his son, the prince, he had an obligation to stay.

And so the invasion grew closer. Leon became more frantic, often even absent, and Hershel became quieter in his presence. He often slipped away in the dead of night to visit the lower, poorer regions of his city while he still could. It was hard to imagine that this was better than most of the rest of the kingdom. He’d heard rumours that King Descole was ruthless and unmatched in battle, but from what Hershel had seen, Descole’s growing kingdom fared much better than his own.

17. The Only One - Supernatural; Samifer

Sam had a dilemma on his hands.

It had been a few months since Lucifer had broken out of the cage again, bringing Michael and Adam with him. It appeared that they had come to an understanding of sorts, as Michael just nodded to them both and Sam before fluttering off, presumably to heaven, leaving Adam staring wistfully at the empty space he’d left.

18. Untitled (WIP) - Merlin; Merthur

It’s been around two minutes since Merlin got on the bus. It’s also been, Merlin believes, around 1,000 years since Arthur died. He’s not quite sure at this point the exact amount of years- he stopped counting his age after he reached 300. No-one would believe him if he told them his real age now anyway. He’s also not sure of how long he’s been on the bus, as he’s broken his watch. He’s not very happy about it.

19. Give Me Back My Body - Captain America; Stucky

Bucky had broken a record by bringing Steve from the Potomac River.

It seemed he was gaining his ability to think again, and he’d gone to the Smithsonian to take back a sense of self. He stayed away for a few weeks, checking in on Steve in the hospital when he was still there (not going in, just in case). He tested himself, made sure that he was safe around civilians by going about a ‘normal’ life, observing them and exposing himself to as many possible triggers as he could.

Nothing triggered him at all, and he was physically doing fine.

20. Come Sweet Death - Captain America; Stucky

The first time Steve Rogers tries to commit suicide is in the winter of 1931, when he’s 13 years old. It’s when Bucky finally finds out about his partial deafness, and his…different version of colour blindness. It’s not much of a big deal to Bucky- he takes it surprisingly well, and is so supportive it makes Steve feel like crying.

Which he does. A lot.

It’s when he’s so sick, literally and figuratively, of his many afflictions, that he’s had enough.

Patterns I’ve found: I’m really melodramatic and I take a long time to get to the point, which is why a lot of these first lines seem like an imperfect cadence. Also I have a lot of unfinished documents.
