Then I had a thought that since his eyes were brown, a natural hue, and my version on empowereds eye colors depend on their abilities unless you’re humanborn in which you have a bit of both (almost like heterochromia) 👀

Ergo making my version of Sam a humanborn Freelancer which I think really adds more to the struggles he’s been through and, if I really wanna get deep with it, even relating to Lovely in a way which would make having his hand in helping with the process of their turning a lot more meaningful because he can relate to the loss of an incredible ability you 1. didn’t know you had and 2. spent so long trying to manage it only to have it taken from you just like that. He sees a little of himself in them—and y’know Sam Collins is the kind of man that wants to give others the chance to have what he couldn’t.

Bakugou wishes he didn't give ears to Kirishima’s stupid plan, and just bursted the whole thing up. Nonviolence it’s not something natural for him, especially with situations involving his family; but if he wants this to work, he needs to stay put, watching his baby sister being disgustingly ogled by a moron and not being able to do anything about it.

And wearing a fake mustache as coverage!

“tsc, freaking dork.” he scolds lowly, watching through the lens of his sunglasses at the way your classmate is passionately gazing at you, not even hiding his smile whenever you touch his shoulder to show something over your laptop, or share eye-contact for more than three seconds. That guy is so taken with you, that makes Bakugou want to puke in disgust, his expression hardening while watching the scene.

And what makes the blonde even madder, is that you’re not even noticing the way that punk is practically drooling over you. What the heck were you thinking of going out with him? He doesn’t look like he could throw a punch to a goose, let alone protect you should anything happen; he’s probably one of those fancy pants wonks with pathetic quirk and overly confidence. He might be enough for those other extras, but surely not good enough for his little sister.

He was fairly right to follow you over this “study date”. 

Bakugou’s temper was already boiling since he got into this stupid cafe trying not to lose you from sight; now imagine when he spots that moron suddenly taking a loose lock of your hair, fondling it between his fingers for a moment before tucking it behind your ear. 

He sees red.

Before the poor guy could make another move his hand is ripped away from your face, his wrist getting twisted backwards painfully by a brutal and unknown force. It takes one look above to see the enraged pair of red eyes staring down at him. “Get your filthy paws away from her!”

It takes a considerable amount of time to stop Bakugou from blasting the whole place up.

-As per my headcanon that all the pack has at least one scar on their face, his is across his left eyebrow.

toxic traits i think redacted audio characters have/used to have: listener edition!

angel - pessimistic + perfectionism, especially when it comes to the pack. They feel slightly inferior because they’re human, so when it comes to planning events like the Solstice, they want everything to be perfect but they can’t help but imagine the absolute worst. I think they also begin to spiral a little when it comes to David + the pack and them working specific events, this is bc of the Inversion.

baabe - a massive people pleaser. similarly to angel, they feel inferior to the pack because they’re human, so when asher first introduced them to the pack, baabe altered basically everything about themselves from their interests to their humor in attempt to fit in. they’re like this with other humans too. They’re a lot better now that they’ve got roots in the pack, though.

sweetheart - major workaholic + defensive. the department obviously demands a lot from its employees, so sweetheart is definitely running on a few hours of sleep and caffeine, but instead of taking breaks they can sit at a desk and do paperwork all day. they often fail to realize how damaging it is and they get snappy when people try to help them. they usually apologize afterwards cause they’re cool like that.

smartass - inflexible + slightly aggressive. they are sooo stubborn and they don’t like trying new things at ALL. They also tend to get pretty feisty when somebody challenges them on anything and they’re quick to dish out insults. and i mean they go for the JUGULAR. they’ll insult your appearance, your grammar, they’ll find your whole family tree on facebook and bring up your family issues if it means they’ll win an argument.

lovely - they’re a little too confident and they overestimate themself. lovely is tough, don’t get me wrong BUT they tend to automatically assume they can do anything. the type of person to watch ultimate ninja warrior or some shit and be like “i could do that” but they most definitely could not. i still can’t get over how vincent warned them on that mountain or whatever and they decided not to listen and immediately got their shit rocked.

bright eyes - they used to be very impulsive. they get the urge to do something? they ARE going to do it. zero forethought. after the Quinn incident, they try to think before acting more often.

honey - they used to be very dismissive. they did not prioritize closeness, affection, or intimacy in their relationships because they didn’t know how to channel those emotions. ever since being with Guy, he’s helped them a lot.

darlin/tank - oh boyyy. they’ve definitely picked up on some extreme negativity in their life, but i think one of their worst traits was their recklessness. we know darlin has a habit at throwing themself into danger head on like they’re invincible, which results in them severely injured and needing somebody to take care of them. Part of me also thinks that they struggle with empathy. in the “Confronted by Your Pack Alpha” video, darlin seemed to have a hard time understanding how David + the pack felt about them running off to go vampire hunting and they were fully convinced that they were doing the right thing by trying to “protect” everyone.

i purposely left out some listeners, like lasko’s, antons, and james’ because i have no clue what theirs would be. I also left out Cutie because we all know what their toxic trait is… oh boy.
