36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?

Oeh, I one made a helpful guide about titling fics, because I used to give more writing advice. I think the most important thing is knowing what your main thing is in the fic, like is it about a certain thing happening or an interaction between two or more characters, and then making it a little more abstract, so narrowing it down to like a few words, before getting more poetic with it. A pyramid approach so to speak xp

As for which one I'm the most proud of? Oef, I don't know, I think Stitching Up a Mask, but that could be recency bias. I also love Home of the sky take me to the home of my youth.

2. Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?

That's a though one, I mean, I guess more darker fics. I love angst, but I'm not good at keeping it angst, so it turns out a little more h/c whenever I try. Plus, certain topics are just outside of my experience and I'll feel weird about writing those. But overall, I usually give whatever I want a try, the only thing stopping me is hours in the day lmao

31. What was the most difficult fic for you to write (but in the end you made it)?

Definitely I Found Myself a Cheerleader, because I kind of fell out of the fandom for a bit, I really only had two more chapters to write, but I just stopped feeling it. I'm the kinda person who won't post until it is finished, so I had poured all that work in only for it to never see the light of day, so that really sucked. The only thing that got me through that one was rereading comments on my other Stranger Things fics, so much appreciated to everyone in my comments <3

32. Do you have a word/expression that you always use in your writing?

Gosh, probably. Not deliberately, but certain things just come back over and over, because the themes fit or I like them. When you start looking my crying descriptions probably all look very similar haha

YES!!! she's an administrator at the Amelio Coalition, which is a nonprofit healthcare service that does research on the advancement of people and pokemon - personally, though, she does mostly secretarial and budget stuff. the year is 2042 and she lives in Vertopolis, a city in the kanto region at the base of mt moon. she works with her bestie, dr vern <3

tldr vern was turned into a were-noivern and Killed People, and because parker is very loyal to a fault, her reaction wasn't to be horrified but to help cover it up. she didn't want him to go through everything alone, so she willingly turned herself.

in this universe, her brother marcus is deceased & vern is a brother figure to her in lieu of him. because hisuian zoroark is a ghost/normal type, she feels stuck between life and death, somewhere in a purgatory where she can't properly take care of marcus or vern, which troubles her.

her transformation atm is extremely unstable because she hasn't learned to control it, so unfortunately her first transformation happened on a date with yasu, and she killed yasu. oops. this turned yasu into a were-mismagius and now she has the "oh my god i ALSO killed someone" guilt so everything is a bit of a mess, but at least yasu is willing to forgive her.

she isn't the type of person who likes to make important decisions for herself, so for the most part she helps with whatever vern is doing (except when she's scolding him for being a troublemaker - scolding is also how she shows affection) and trying to protect yasu now.

1) What’s their closet like? Do they have a lot of clothes or just a few staples?

caleb is a little business boy and his closet would be super organized but also it is literally just various shades of black and gray. all his suits are neatly lined up and there's a few piles of plain shirts, the most color he has at his disposal would be a dark red or blue or green. even his socks are boring :/ but at least he has the personality and the autistic whimsy to make up for it

2) Do they carry a water bottle? Does it have stickers on it?

caleb does carry a water bottle around but it's also a plain and boring one, one of those silver bottles that can also keep something warm in it if necessary. he has only one sticker on it and that's a little name tag so people know it's his bottle because he forgets it EVERYWHERE. people know that he's back from a field mission because his water bottle just keeps mysteriously popping up in seemingly random locations

4) Who do they main in mario kart?

christian has always and will always main yoshi. it's kind of a tradition at this point and if others don't let her pick yoshi she will become even more annoying in-game than she already is

5) What is the most used app in their phone?

christian would honestly rarely use their phone! they mostly use a computer at work or their own laptop because they prefer to look at a bigger screen :] when they Are using their phone it's usually to chat with friends, so whichever chat app would be most common in this universe (i say, as if it's not MY universe) would be the most used one :]

7) Would they enjoy being famous?

glory would NOT enjoy being famous at all. she joined CALAMITY to vanish entirely if anything, and she's living her best life like this. has never liked being in the spotlight and would hate to be put back into it after all the trouble she went through to basically disappear

8) What is their favorite piece of clothing they own?

glory has a very cool dark green mechanic jumpsuit with a bunch of patches on it and she loves it to bits! doesn't wear it in the hangar anymore since it's one of her favorite pieces nowadays and she doesn't wanna risk tearing it or getting it too dirty, but she will often wear it when not on duty :]

14) What is something ridiculous they’d impulse buy?

jackie would impulse buy anything if he's in the right mood for it honestly. it doesn't take much to convince him to buy something because he loves gathering random items to fill his room with :] he does have a lot of random "useful" kitchen supplies that he's never really used because turns out he doesn't actually know how to use them or they're just useless plastic things that don't really do anything LMAO

15) What does their desk space look like? Is it messy or organized?

oh it's a mess. jackie has entirely too many things and he leaves everything anywhere because it's an organized mess and moving anything out of sight will cause it to vanish from existence in his brain. and also nobody else is allowed to touch anything

17) Do they talk to themselves when they’re alone? When they’re with others?

rex doesn't say a lot unprompted to begin with, so he wouldn't talk to himself a lot. he Will however sometimes say something randomly out loud out of nowhere which always startles those around him which ALSO startles him in return because he wasn't expecting anyone to hear him

18) What do they want more than anything in the world?

honestly? rex really just wants to kiss caleb even if it's just once. he loves that man so fucking much and would die and kill and live for him all at once but like. well. they're both difficult and it will take a very long time for either of them to even admit their feelings to themselves so it's gonna take a while before he gets his kiss :(

have u seen my ridiculously long post about BullDon already ? bcuz if u haven't it's linked and i think u might love that 🩷 HOWEVER BullDon runs in my veins and i think i can contribute even more to this so ramble NOW!! adding a below cut because i wanna explain the story behind the central headcanon so it may get a leeeetle long + i know some people don't care for ship talk 🩷

okay one of my headcanons mentioned in a previous post is that Don absolutely loves vintage cars . he doesn't exactly care for working on/the restoration of vehicles bcuz he isn't a big fan of spending all that money he cant spare on the correct parts, as well as the hyperspecific research that goes into it .. but that man is head over heels for an old Chevy Bel Air Convertible, particularly one with a glossy red exterior and a cream interior. like that's his dream car above all else, and it's something he's wanted since he was 20

anooother headcanon of mine i believe ive mentioned is that Bull has MONEY! considering that he's a world circuit professional boxer, he gets around in a limousine in his comic strip, and is canonically a celebrity ,, why wouldn't he be at least a LITTLE rich ?? however, despite those riches, he doesn't seem to flaunt it , let alone be the type to rub it in others' faces

so between these two headcanons and incorporating my own culture into my fav things .... i think that throughout their "relationship" (lts unlabeled, they just kiss on each other and r quietly in love), as they got closer and got to know each other more, Bull observed the fact that Don would become ecstatic over any old cars that passed them he on the streets . when Don would see them, he'd make remarks about their beauty and how admirous he was of anybody who owned such treasures. Bull had always cared and been fascinated by Don's love for the cars, but he had never taken into account that he may have a desired one of his own. so one day, amidst Don's ramblings, Bull asked him what HIS favorite kind of vintage car was and why. he knew Don would be happy to share, and Bull was genuinely just interested and wanted to know more- but not only did he simply want to know of his interests and passions - he def had a lil smthn in mind ..

upon learning of the Bel Air Convertible, Bull began spending copious amounts of any spare time he got researching this car; all of its parts, all the models and the years they were released, the special features and their availability in the current times .. any and everything anybody knew about that car, he made sure he knew more. he was determined to buy this car for Don as means to express his love and care for not only him, but his hobbies and happiness .

seeing that Bull spent a majority of his time in New York due to his regarded position in the World Circuit and Don's lesser (but still significant) position in the Major Circuit, having time to freely search around uninterrupted, let alone secretively, was next to impossible . it stressed him out for sure .. until about two months after he learned about Don's dream car; Don informed the WVBA and Bull personally that he would be returning home to Madrid for a month's time to reconcile with his family after being separated for the sake of his career for such large bouts of time. it broke Bull's heart to be separated from someone he loved for such a long period, but at the same time this was his desperately needed opportunity to begin searching for anybody in possession of the car, and figure out how long it would take him to both get work done on it and have it be functional

GETTING TO THE MAIN POINT IM SPEEDING THIS SHIT UP CUZ IM SOO TIRED + HAVE TO BE OUT OF HERE IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES + I DONT WANNA BORE U 😭

as afore mentioned, the cost of this car (absolute minimum now is about 36k , so i believe 25k? in 2009) wasn't a deathly problem for Bull; he took every step he had to no matter the cost to get the Bel Air properly repaired. when it came time for the paint job, he had to consider just what KIND of red Don really wanted and how it may make or break not only the beauty, but the sentiment of this car. it was the most nerve-racking factor of the entire process; but after some thought he settled for a Cola red. and sure enough, when the time came that Don returned to New York, there aren't words true enough to describe how hard Don cried and how joyous he was for such thought in his name. He couldn't hug or kiss Bull enough, but he could do ONEE thing that would solidify their love

Don taught Bull about cruising and the "culture" of lowriders !!!!!! this is exactly the reason he wanted this car; to cruise with somebody he loves down any and every street they could, in daylight and at night. he made playlists of music he inserted into a drive so that he could have his favorite music play on the radio while they drove about. he taught Bull all about the love that goes into these cars, the love that goes into cruising, and even the love they'd receive from people on the streets when they saw them. Don got to drive the car first, no doubt about that; but his intention never was to hog it! he wanted Bull to learn how to cruise and when the best times were, and eventually he perfected the position in which he drove so that it was no longer just "driving" to him; it was about the love, the smoothness, and the memories it would make

they adore the day drives in summertime an indescribable amount, but their favorite cruises are the ones at night through the downtown roads. that's when the lack of seat belts in old vehicles let Don slide close to Bull and lean on his shoulder, and when they pulled into and parked wherever they resided for the night he could put his hand to Bull's chest and kiss his cheek 🩷

our first date was most likely just me preparing something like dinner for us two i think and then watching a movie or reading books in peace afterwards at home… i’ve said before that we’re not very fancy people and would not go out on fancy dates to restaurants much so yeah!! i feel like f/o would generally just be like ‘doing this is nice, actually’ not really realizing it counts as a first date while they sit beside s/i watching a movie on the couch while s/i is vibrating shaking with happiness soo much inside… eitherway it was really special to both of them in their own ways that made them look forward to future dates even more (with how much more comfortable they got with each other later on, more hugging, eventually kissing etc etc. they take a Long while for even a simple cheek kiss i think.)

For me, I used to "Ship" Shadowpeach, but then I realized that the two of them act a lot like me and my siblings, so it was pretty awkward for me to ship the two of them. And then I found out that their relationship is considered familial/fraternal in China, so that made it even more awkward.. but then I found a fanfic that had the two of them as brothers and I really enjoyed it. And now I just can't see the two of them as anything other than monkey bros, so...

In fact I remember that I had joined the fandom, and at first I saw them more as friends, however I also discovered that in China they see them more as brothers and I realized that they fit very well with that, I also have siblings so I felt in the same way that this dynamic between the two of them did fit, and for me if you see them like the brothers that were once close to each other and now they are not, is much more impactful/sad, and from there I liked that headcanon or that interpretation of their relationship more.

085, describe your character in three words.

Vicious bastard son.

Those three words define the essentials of who Klaus is as a character, more or less. Vicious because he is, but that hadn’t always been the case ( REBEKAH: “I remember the sweet boy who made me laugh and gave me gifts. (…) How could you have fallen so far?” ), so it shows the kind of character that Klaus developed into through the events of his life and who we met in the show, because even as we saw him soften that didn’t change. His status as a bastard has effected every aspect of his life, even before he knew he was a bastard ( being weakened by his own mother to hide her secret, which in turn inspired hatred in his step-father and started the cycle of abuse that Klaus would live for a millennium, his feelings of always being different from others, including his family, the root of his insecurities ) ( KLAUS: “A bastard. That’s all I am to you, isn’t it? ). Son is something he tries desperately to run from, but also yearns for, and what made him what he is of course ( KLAUS: “You, Mother, are the author of everything I am.” ); he is Esther’s secret child, the illegitimate child she emotionally abused in order to keep her own secret, which set the course of the rest of Klaus’ life; he is Mikael’s hated stepson, with the man mentally/emotionally/physically abusing him, which led to Klaus spending a thousand years running paranoid; he is Ansel’s abandoned son, not cared for enough to save and protect, left to the mercilessness of his other parents, which led to Klaus’ abandonment issues and feelings of inferiority.
