💭 + facial hair!

ace  is  able  to  grow  easily  hair  on  his  chest,  on  his  arms,  legs  ...  his  worst  spot  is  the  beard.  even  growing  a  coarse  stubble  is  quite  a  feat  if  he  would  shave  his  jaw,  which  is  why  ace  actually  rarely  does  it.  but  of  course,  his  mustache  is  the  easiest  to  grow.  though  ace  actually  makes  sure  to  shave  the  hair  above  his  lip  because  he  has  seen  pictures  of  his  father,  he  doesn't  want  to  look  or  resemble  him.  once  he  sees  or  feels  a  little  hair  poking  out  ?  he's  rushing  to  get  a  razor.  he  also  thinks  he  looks  quite  ridiculous  with  a  mustache  himself.  when  he  was  traveling  he  could  only  cut/shave  his  hair  with  his  hunting  knife,  and  while  he  was  in  prison  he  grew  quite  a  sizable  wisp  of  hair  over  his  lip.  

boiling  it  down  to  the  point,  ace  feels  really  uneasy  when  it  comes  to  growing  a  mustache.  he  is  quite  sympathetic  as  far  as  beards  go,  a  small  goatee  even  but  when  he  sees  hair  peeking  above  his  lip,  he  feels  like  he's  looking  at  roger,  the  one  he  had  seen  in  photos,  old  wanted  posters.  ace  doesn't  even  know  what  that  feeling  is.  he  just,  doesn't  want  to  resemble  his  biological  father  in  any  way.  it  angers  him,  frustrates  him.  he  continues  to  carry  the  same  emotional  burden,  the  depression  associated  with  roger  and  his  childhood.  that's  why  it's  so  hard  to  even  run  from  that,  after  years.  because  no  matter  what,  the  apple  doesn't  fall  far  from  the  apple  tree. the mustache gives him a very weird ache in his heart. maybe he doesn't want it because of what happened or maybe he just wanna silence the guilt of doing so because rouge was always calling him the prettiest child and that he looks so much like his dad.

i  headcanon  ace  to  be  texan hispanic  !  ace  has  a  very  southern  accent  when  he  speaks  and  he  can  speak  both  spanish  and  american  english  very  well.  in  my  case  rouge  is  a  native  texan  american  and  roger  is  mexican  !  c:

Okay, I love, love, love a good hurt/comfort (seen in the copious amounts I write of it lmao), then I am a big fan of crying, specifically cathartic break down crying, idk if that is necessarily a trope but I dig it, and three, I would say, angst, I do like making characters a little sad, it makes em more fun xp (maybe I am mean, hm, much to think abt haha)

Okay, some self love, I like how I do dialogue between people and thought spirals without making them too confusing. I love getting in people's head and figuring out how they talk and think, and I like to say I've gotten pretty good at that part

Oehh, here picking a fandom is hard, bc I am a chronic fandom hopper, but I'm going with Hannibal (a fandom I haven't posted shit for, but want to (I'm working on it, but fuck is uni keeping me busy rn)). Okay, here we go:

hmm... i feel like she saw a lot of herself in turin and part of the reason she sent him away was knowing that he would be treated similarly to how she was.

I think a lot of fandom portrayals tend to write his PTSD as very quiet/sad/anxious and understate his canon tendencies towards anger and violence. I really wish more people were interested in exploring the "sharper" aspects of his PTSD, since canonically we see quite a lot of that. And I think it's a more interesting internal struggle for him -- lashing out at people he loves, despite not wanting to, struggling to keep his cool, etc.

I personally don't think he wore a prosthetic all that often! Probably only in diplomatic settings. I think he got very good at using the stump of his wrist to hold/steady/manipulate objects. I also think he did use it to be affectionate with people -- it is the natural one for someone to hold, after all.

Oh man so many! Very basic answers are Maglor and Fingon, which seems to be all I've been writing lately lol.

Gil-galad! Especially in contexts where Gil is not closely related to him or his favorite people (so, Gil as Finrod's or Orodreth's son). I think they work well as foils for one another -- both doomed leaders trying to herd cats in very unstable times.

I think he and Maglor often share the same bed in the later days, which is definitely somewhat strange for brothers. Both very paranoid about losing each other, both are very prone to nightmares, and both of them sleep fully dressed just in case. Also I think he's a very clunky dancer.

YES!!! she's an administrator at the Amelio Coalition, which is a nonprofit healthcare service that does research on the advancement of people and pokemon - personally, though, she does mostly secretarial and budget stuff. the year is 2042 and she lives in Vertopolis, a city in the kanto region at the base of mt moon. she works with her bestie, dr vern <3

(vern belongs to @cloudcreates!)

tldr vern was turned into a were-noivern and Killed People, and because parker is very loyal to a fault, her reaction wasn't to be horrified but to help cover it up. she didn't want him to go through everything alone, so she willingly turned herself.

in this universe, her brother marcus is deceased & vern is a brother figure to her in lieu of him. because hisuian zoroark is a ghost/normal type, she feels stuck between life and death, somewhere in a purgatory where she can't properly take care of marcus or vern, which troubles her.

her transformation atm is extremely unstable because she hasn't learned to control it, so unfortunately her first transformation happened on a date with yasu, and she killed yasu. oops. this turned yasu into a were-mismagius and now she has the "oh my god i ALSO killed someone" guilt so everything is a bit of a mess, but at least yasu is willing to forgive her.

she isn't the type of person who likes to make important decisions for herself, so for the most part she helps with whatever vern is doing (except when she's scolding him for being a troublemaker - scolding is also how she shows affection) and trying to protect yasu now.
