"Voi vittu," Valtteri mutters, shoving his phone back into his pocket before anyone sees. They're on a quick break between shoots, a brief chance to drop his media-friendly smile and ram a protein bar into his mouth before Liza from hair and make up insists on doing a touch up and they're put back in front of the camera.

Guanyu drops into the seat next to him, looking considerably less hassled. Then again, apparantly, he'd spent most of the break jumping from fashion shoot to fashion shoot. Mostly because Lewis had sent him a few of the posts, asking if Valtteri had anything lined up himself, mirth-rich voice loud and clear even over text. Valtteri just told him to piss off and cyber stalk his own teammate instead.

"Long day, huh?"

"Really long," Guanyu nods, sinking into his chair, "I wish they would turn the air conditioning on. I'm so hot in this thing."

He gestures vaugely to his race suit. He certainly doesn't look like he's too hot. His face isn't flushed red and it doesn't look like there is an uncomfortable sweat sitting under his clothes, like Valtteri is currently suffering through. But, Guanyu probably doesn't have someone insistently texting him videos from a sunny window seat in his kitchen from Switzerland.

Right on cue, his phone vibrates again, then again, then again.

Guanyu glances at him, "Someone's trying to get your attention."

Valtteri hesitates, "It's Seb. He's bored."

It's not a lie.

"Missing all this, huh?" he laughs, waving a hand in the direction of the set.

Valtteri isn't so sure. Maybe, more than he lets on. He knows people think of Seb as being media-averse, but anyone who actually hates being near a camera or a mic wouldn't last as long in F1 as Seb did. And God knows he likes the attention.

His phone buzzes again, as if to prove a point. Guanyu just snorts, and starts scrolling on his own phone. Valtteri looks around as subtly as he can before glancing at the screen.

There's a series of pictures, the angle slightly awkward, probably because it's hard to get his wrist in the right position when his dominant hand is busy pressing three fingers into his hole. Valtteri has to grit his teeth to stop himself groaning.

The last message is a video, and he quickly mutes his phone before pressing play. He's obviously propped his phone up against the wall, leaning against the other side of the window seat. The sun is streaming through, casting a bright white lens glare across one corner of the screen. It's probably accidental, but it's quite beautiful, and it does nothing to distract from the hand he has stroking himself, or the one hooked under his leg to get behind him.

It loops three times before Seb sends another text, how's it going there?

Valtteri pauses before he replies. Like a recovered alcoholic asking innocently how the beer tastes. Valtteri doesn't think that a single reminder of the glamour of behind-the-scenes at F1 would bring Seb crawling back, but he's not sure how much these questions are about making conversation, genuine care, or some kind of peverse self-flagellation, picking at the scab of an unhealed wound. He goes for deflection.

Another photo comes through. He's lounging across the seat, and the sun catches obscenely on the come on his stomach and chest. Valtteri shifts in his seat, but they're called back to set before he can respond.

poyt 4 balcony scene. i don’t know why but that shit was so heartwarming and it was the kinda true realisation i think that we realise: steve genuinely loves omega. even after the whole cheating fiasco and the prolonged time of not speaking to each other.

that part is just so !!!!!!!! my favourite

also the part where omega realises that she can live without her mom and peter, but she couldn’t live without steve is just.. mwah!!

Oh I was JUST thinking about that balcony scene!

It’s the way Steve puts his cigarette out as soon as she tells him to 😭 and he never listened to anyone before but (maybe for the first time ever) he actually listens to her.

That scene was very very hard to write! Actually I think it was the hardest scene of poyt 4 I had to write! I remember I kept rewriting Steve’s dialogue bc I wanted it to be a balance between him coming to terms with his feelings and him being apologetic yet still not fully there yet, like still holding back bc he doesn’t really know HOW to say it or fully even understands what exactly it is he’s feeling, and WHY she’s different from his past girlfriends! If that makes sense?

And I had to keep rewriting it bc I was like “no wait he’s being way too nice it’s out of character” and then again I’d have to rewriting it bc “no wait he’s being too harsh now” aaahhhh it was just all about finding the balance!!! And making my readers realise that wow, there’s more to him when he’s not screaming, throwing tantrums or being scary!

And yes 🥺🥺🥺 omega’s realisation. She can’t live without Steve, BUT there’s a diff between needing someone to survive and actually being in love with them!!! 😌😌😌😌

Nabi is a very clingy baby.

Very cuddly, too.

So most nights, she somehow finds her way into your and Jungkook’s bedroom.

It's almost like she has a sixth sense for when you're about to settle into bed, starting to cry and whine to get your attention.

And almost always, Jungkook comes back with Nabi cradled in his arms, her fake tears still glistening in her eyes as he carries her into bed.

You remind him that it's not good to let her get used to this habit, and he always defends it by saying he can't resist letting her sleep with you both. "Her big tired eyes melt me into letting her sleep with us."

Jungkook finally gets to experience firsthand what it means to turn putty at the sight of round, sparkly doe eyes.

And just as Nabi has a habit of wanting to sleep between her parents, Jungkook has a habit of snoring. Every night. Though he claims he doesn't snore as loudly when you complain and you always give him an incredulous look, snarling back, "how would you know?"

All three of you are cuddled up in bed, Jungkook’s snores richocheting off the walls as you're deep in sleep—except for Nabi.

She's squirming in bed, the covers getting pulled and tugged with the movements of her little body, which causes you wake up. Your eyes flutter open.

You just catch the moment when Nabi raises her tiny hand and smacks it against Jungkook’s cheek just enough to create a soft echo of the slap.

Jungkook's snoring comes to an abrupt halt.

He grumbles, shifting to adjust his position and escape whatever just hurt him, all while keeping his eyes closed.

You stifle a giggle as you watch him groggily scratch his cheek. Nabi's big, curious eyes drift to your smiling face, and she wriggles her way back to you.

"Good job, Nabi," you whisper, pulling her close. She snuggles into your side, her little fingers curling around your chest as she nestles in.

"Did she just hit me?" Jungkook mumbles, still half-asleep, his voice thick with confusion.

You laugh softly, brushing a hand through Nabi's silky hair.

"Your snores annoyed her," you say, giggling. "See, you are very loud."

"Nabi's ruthless," he huffs.

Jungkook cracks one eye open, glancing at the two of you cuddled up together.

"Traitor," he mumbles, pouting in mock betrayal. But he quickly switches back, leaning in to drop a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Sorry, baby. Dad didn't mean to be so loud. I'll let you sleep now, yeah?"

Nabi lets out a little yawn, her tiny mouth stretching wide as she snuggles deeper into your side. The sight of her small, sleepy face and the way her eyelashes flutter as she fights to keep her eyes open melts both you and Jungkook.

Jungkook shifts to make more room, his arms wrapping around you and Nabi in a protective, cosy embrace.

You rest your head against Jungkook’s shoulder, the three of you nestled together in a perfect cuddle pile. As Jungkook’s breathing gradually synchronizes with Nabi’s, he kisses your forehead, his touch tender and loving.

"Love you, and I'm sorry."

"Love you, and it's okay," you whisper back.
