Augustus: *throwing a tantrum* "DAD WHY AM I LIKE THIS"
Octavius: "Well, I didn't sculpt you but it seems they ran out of marble."
Augustus: "DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT STINKS HAVING NO HANDS"
Jed: "Or legs."
Octavius: "That's not helping."
Omg you can't just say that Jed!

Hot Take: I don't like the design of Barnaby's Eyes
Yes, sure, they're fine when you can't see anything but the innermost two bits, but... When you finally see the damn 3rd ring, it just makes him look like some sleepy dope.
For the love of fuck, just- Animate the eyes!! Make the rings move!! I know that this is gonna cause a whole other issue regarding... Well... "Fan content"... But PLEASE!!! It just looks so stupid otherwise!

It was really funny watching some people on twitter who were playing Super Mario RPG for the first time wondering why Geno was the character people always brought up from the game when Mallow has more screen time. The answer is simply that Geno, both from a design and mechanics perspective, appealed more to the demographic that Super Mario RPG was aimed at. To an audience of predominantly young boys, Geno is an objectively cooler character

Compiled this lil piece from solar filter I used during the eclipse and plants I grabbed from my friend's parents' yard in Arkansas (they have those cool helicopter seeds we don't have around Florida)! Included Jupiter and Venus symbols on two handheld filters since those planets were very visible during the eclipse, and bits of a cyanotype I did the day before! So all the components are directly related to the eclipse/general area I viewed it from :-)

When I was in college we did a unit on Emily Dickinson in one of my humanities classes. Professor reads “There’s a certain Slant of light” out loud and asks the students what it’s about. So I raise my hand and go, Emily Dickinson suffered from severe migraines, so that’s what I think it’s about. He gave me the most condescending smile and said oh no we’re not trying to talk about biography here. What’s the poem about?
