Random TGS head canons because im board and gay I guess (only like 5…. 3 are about Flowers though so, yeah-):

Flowers has insomnia, so she builds little music boxes to help her sleep, kinda like 10 hours soothing music but in 1884(?)

Also still talking about Flowers because she’s the best lodger, she’s a feminist. Or like a 1884 feminist. Idk why when I was reading the bonus content for TGS my first thought was, wow. Flowers really is a feminist icon. I feel like she’d very politely rant about women’s rights to anyone who’s listen idk why

Wow another Flowers one- (she’s my favorite lodger once more and she’s barely in it let me have my fun-) she’s asexual and a lesbian. Idk why the moment I saw her I was like….. knowing TGS and that the lodgers are legit just a found family of gay scientists, she’s a part of the LGBT…. Projection time????? So I’m yeah…

AUNT FRANKENSTEIN STORY TIMES I saw that like one part of Jekyll calling all the lodgers huddling around Victoria Aunt Frankenstein stories or something with Aunt Frankenstein so yeah. They call them Aunt Frankenstein Story Times and it’s a weekend day chosen at random by Victoria when she has enough strength

Zosi tends to hang out with Dr Maijabi while not with Jekyll, Dr Maijabi is also basically the society’s grandfather I don’t wanna hear it all the fics depicting him as Jekylls almost father figure where correct.

- rachel works very hard against the ditzy maid stereotype. does she beat it? not quite.

- she and hyde often stay up very late gossiping about boys (or rich stuck up gaffers they hate)

- she doesn’t have a favorite color but she knows she looks smashing in purple

- daydreams of visiting the countryside with a certain werewolf boy

- i think she has a picture of her brother stashed somewhere. maybe in her wallet or in a locket or something of that sort

- secretly hopes she dies before any of her dearest friends. she doesn’t want to go through the pain of losing someone dear to her again

- i don’t think she and lanyon see eye to eye. they don’t hate each other by any means, i just don’t think they connect on any level. so they just kinda say hi to each other in the halls and move on.

- dream job is to open her own bakery

- quite adept in knife throwing (probably thanks to lucy)

- sews all of her own clothes AND everyone else’s in the society

Maverick is 100% one of those people who memorized how to solve a rubix cube and can do it behind his back in like 5 seconds and refuses to tell Ice how he does it just to see his face. (He does teach Jake, though, and the cycle only continues.)

What if Jake had a deaf sister?

His youngest sister Lucy, who’s nineteen now, was in a nasty car accident when she was fourteen, and lost her hearing because of it. The whole Seresin family learnt ASL, but Jake picked it up the fastest by far, so the pair grew super close because of it. 

Over the years it became a habit for Jake to automatically sign as he spoke, so even when he was at Top Gun he struggled to shake it. 

And when Ice began to loose his voice because of the cancer, Mav quickly turned to Jake for help. It started with him just showing the two older men the basics, but it quickly escalated to him giving lessons to the whole Dagger Squad. It became a way for them to communicate when they were too tired from a mission or training to talk. 

Bradley and Jake would use it around the house too, sometimes it was just easier than actually speaking. Plus Bradley had a tendency to struggle to voice how he was feeling, but he found that ASL was an easier way to voice (sign) his emotions. 

So when Lucy came to visit Jake, and he introduced her to the squad, she was pleasantly surprised when they could all communicate with her. Though she didn’t hesitate to point out that they all had the same signing quirks/nuances that Jake did. 

Idk ik this is really random, but it’s been stuck in my head for yonks.

okay so my ELA class has to read Jekyll and Hyde and now I'm hyperfixating and on a Gothic literature kick sooooo JnH headcanon dump

-Hyde will fight children. Unironcially, this man will go up to children and threaten to jump them.

-Lanyon keeps telling Jekyll to go to therapy but 'who needs therapy when I can turn into evil me and fight kids'

-Edward 'I eat Walmart pizza frozen' Hyde

-Utterson and Jekyll are gay. Fuck all of you.

-Lanyon also fights children

-Utterson is very deep in the closet because it's Victorian England but he still makes these subtle jokes and Enfield just gives him this LOOK

So, for those who don't know, there is a phenomenon called Chemo Curls where, after your hair falls out due to the chemotherapy, sometimes when it grows back post-treatment, it will have a new significant curl pattern to it even if the patient didn't have curls before

What I'm saying is Iceman has curly hair once he beats cancer and also he has no idea how to handle it for the longest time (Sunny educates him on how to handle curl patterns even tho Sunny has much tighter curls, same principles apply)

Naive Customer

Tattoo Artist Uta ft Itori! x GN Reader

synopsis: you had been wanting a tattoo for a while so a friend gives you a recommendation to a local tattoo shop full of ghouls (both of u are unaware of ghouls) — and your on your period.

warning: NO MINORZ. alternative reader, tatted reader, no mentions of y/n, mentions of blood & flesh, implications of pain kink/getting off to the feeling of being tattooed, implications of period sex/oral. accidental needle play? but not really at all????

You look down at your phone, reading over the address your friend sent you, then looking up at the building to make sure it’s the right one. A traditional Japanese sign reading “HySy Tattoos” plastered at the front. You then enter the building, the sound of jrock being softly played in the background could be heard, your eyes met with the sight of band posters mixed with different tattoo-work done by the artists in the studio. As you walk up to the register you notice that no one was there yet, so you wait a second until you see a girl coming up to the front. She was a pink haired girl, introducing herself by the name of Itori before asking you what kind of tattoo you’ll be getting today.

“I’ve been thinking about getting a tramp stamp for a while now. Thought I’d stop procrastinating already and get it.”

Itori’s brows went up in surprise yet her lips tugged in a smirk as she didn’t expect that from someone like yourself. She had also noticed something about you, something filling the air. Itori puts that thought behind her as she tells you about their best tattoo artist Uta, who’ll be doing your work today, she then gives you the general rundown of prices for it, before leading you along the hall to his studio.

As you follow alongside Itori, you notice how the walls went from a basic solid wall decorated in posters, to this plush deep red cushion-like wall in the shape of diamonds, with black buttons in the center. The music gets louder as she shows you to Uta’s studio, standing at the entrance, you let your eyes roam around the room, taking in the masks decorated along the walls. It wasn’t until you felt a sudden hand at the small of your back, that made you jump a little, you then look up at the androgynous male making the contact, noticing his tattoo equipment in his other hand.

“This the one getting stamped today?” His eyes were looking over at Itori’s direction, before looking down at your small frame like a wide eyed cat who was curiously observing you. Itori nods a little “mhm” in response as she just speculates you both. You couldn’t help but be a little thrown off by his lack of spatial awareness, as you notice the tattoo dancing along his neck, long black hair gracing his shoulders and even how cold his hand felt against your back. Uta could feel the warmth of your skin warming his fingertips, as he leans down slightly towards your neck, taking a small whiff of your distracting scent.

“U-um?”. You were a little flustered and confused at his sudden closeness. Uta could sense your meekness, your hesitance, this only made him chuckle and oddly smirk to himself as he removes his hand, before leaning back to glance at Itori sharing a knowing look. This makes the pink haired woman simply chuckle to herself as she just walks away, letting you two continue your session.

Speechless, Itori had already left your side as you were left just standing there gawping at the man. Uta had already squeezed past you since you were standing in front of the doorway, setting his already sterilized tools down. He then turns around to look at you unblinkingly. “So what makes you want a tramp stamp?” Uta questions as he grabs his pen and pad from behind him. He lets his red eyes roam over you, taking in your outfit. Quite the excellent choice for a stamp as well, he could tell you wore something to make it easy to access that spot.

His voice snaps you out your thoughts as you start thinking about all the cool badass biker woman you’d see with them in magazines, and even some of your favorite girl bands had them. As you explain why you want them, the consultation begins. Uta’s pen dances away as he draws out different illustrations as you two go over your inspirations and designs for the tattoo.

After Consultation

“Omg wow”. You say as your features contort into one of pain. You wince at the feeling of the needle dragging against your skin at first contact. Nails digging into your forearms a little as you try not to squirm under the needle.

As you two had finally came up with a rocker design for your newly awaited tramp stamp, you were propped up on the tattoo chair comfortably as he started working on it. Uta focused on your lower back, just above that place where your low rise jeans sat at your hips. Your arms were rest atop of the cushiony chair, back arched against it so he could get a better view of the placement, you were manspread in your seat, shirt lifted over one arm so it wouldn’t get in the way of his work.

Uta’s eyes catches the tattoo peaking just right above your hip placement, catching that this isn’t your first merry-go-round, yet you still couldn’t handle the pain. You reacted nicely to it though, enjoying the sounds you make. “Not your first tattoo is it?” Uta asks about your tattoo to distract your mind from the feeling as he leans in a little closer to your lower back, holding his hand steady to make sure he’s getting his line’s right.

“No. I’ve got one on my hip another on my thigh, it just never gets easier depending on the placement.”

“Well aren’t you the daring type.” He teases. He only played oblivious about the hip tattoo but to find out you had more in such disclosed places peaked his curiosity. Especially how you were laid out on his chair like this, naive to his kind it seems. You chuckle at his comment. “What about you? Your neck tattoo? That’s more daring than my tats I’d say. What does it mean?” You inquire as you remember the words displayed on his neck, but not the language it was in.

Uta thought about whether he should tell you or not before simply just coming out with it. “I can neither live with you nor without you. It’s in greek”. His voice was flat as all you could hear was the buzz of the tattoo machine fill the room. You weren’t expecting for the tattoo to have such a significant meaning, feeling like you’ve just gained some deep insight on him as a person, letting the comfortable silence takeover with the occasional sounds of pained whines and moans. A faint swirl of your red essence fills his senses once more, when he places a hand at your hip to keep you steady so he could get over this one part.

Uta was secretly struggling with concentrating on the tattoo the way he’d liked to. He’d noticed you the second you stepped outside the building, your essence reeking of something he was all too familiar with. Itori even sensed it, she knew it too. He was trying to ignore it, the smell of your heat, the coursing veins surging through his eyes, the curvature of your back, the fact he could feel your body getting hotter and hotter. the little noises you’d try to resist making everytime the needle would drag across a certain spot on your skin. he could feel every pulse every twitch of your sensitive body beneath his needle and it was awakening something more primal in him. like a shark catching a whiff of human blood.

You shouldn’t have came to a ghouls den on your red moon

The buzzing of the tattoo machine came to a stop as it could be heard being put down. You lift up a little confused wondering if the tattoo was finished, you were about to crane your neck back to look at him to see what’s going on until you notice he’s no longer behind you. Yet now stood tall in front of you, chin tucked between his fingers, guiding your head back up slightly to meet his gaze in front of you.

His pupils this threatening glowering red you’ve never seen before, it intimidated you. His sudden change in demeanor, that mischievous look in his eye, how small he was making you feel, like you’ve been caught like some unknowing prey. Uta slowly tilts his head to the side as you watch how his eyes linger over your eyes—your lips—to that pulse point in your neck then back to meeting your gaze again. “You know nothing of ghouls do you?”

“N-no what is that?” Your voice shakes in fear. But for some reason you couldn’t help but feel planted right in your seat, you couldn’t deny that you were getting lost in his eyes. Uta rubs your chin with his thumb before leaning in a little closer to your face, lips just inches apart as he held intense eye contact with you.

“How naive…” Uta leans past your face to speak directly into your ear. “You know— you shouldn’t have came here on your period, blood bag.” His voice was low as you could feel the chill of his breath against the shell of your ear. “Didn’t think anybody would notice the scent of that bloody cunt?” It was as though your flesh was calling to him. He moves down to your throat, staring at that pulse on your neck, watching how the blood pulses through your skin enticingly. “You outta be careful. You may just run into monsters who might wanna eat you.” He whispers. As if being drawn, he licks a long flat wet strip against that pulse point on the side of your neck, needing to feel that hot crimson blood beat against his tongue. “And what if I said— I’m one of those monsters whose wants to eat you right now?” Uta pulls back a little to take in your expression.

i like to think that the Coruscant Guard, Jedi Temple Guards, and Senate Guard don't all necessarily hate each other, but just argue a good bit and are generally passive aggressive towards each other while also collaborating to get jobs done. The CG and SG tend to work together just fine and the most; neither really work with the TG that often and consider them "strange but efficient". Also, by coincidence, the Commanders and Lieutenants of the CG interact with the SG more once they become the Red Guard, but "got along" better with the Blue Guard, and the TG interacts with them even less (so basically never) after this change. Smaller hc, but the CG (mostly the younger ones) started absorbing a handful of slang and speech patterns from the more relaxed SG members before the change.

Tsukiyama lost Matsumae in the Lunar Raid - who was like a sister to him

And its kinda pressumed that :re cafe took him in afterwards

So consider:

Nishiki, who otherwise hates Tsukiyama for trying to eat Kimi that one time

Seeing how depressed and unlike himself he is

And tries to cheer him up in his usual standoffish Nishiki way (ie: with a coffee, probably)

And eventually he ends up confiding in Tsukiyama that he lost his sister too and they bond over that

And remember how Nishiki and Tsukiyama are the ones to go to Rushima?

What if Nishiki was the first to decide to go to Rushima to look for Kimi, instead of going to Cochlea to aid in rescuing Hinami...

And he asks Tsukiyama to join him for support?

My friend also pointed out that this entrance of Nishiki's is very Tsukiyama-like.

Yeah they're friends now :) Tsukiyama is rubbing off on him (even though Nishiki would refuse to admit it)

Not to mention from this point on, the two of them are Kaneki's right-hand men and are always seen together in paneling.

Even when Kaneki's not around!

Naki mentioned overhearing Tsukiyama and Nishiki gossiping about Touka's pregnancy. (Naki mistakenly calls Tsukiyama 'Yamada')

And they are very in-sync with each other the whole Dragon Arc

Tsukiyama's even the one to see Nishiki sob and sit next to him when Koma and Irimi die

And now, all of that adds a little more to Nishiki's "don't drop her" comment to Tsukiyama in the epilogue

I think Bree loves Mr. Davenport but it's the painful kind of love where she doesn't really like him as a person (except when she does) and she can understand where he's coming from sometimes but still doesn't agree with his actions. But Chase both loves Mr. Davenport and likes him as a person (except when he doesn't) because he's very good at rationalizing his father's bad behavior due to spending the most time with him/being the most similar to him (a fact he agonizes over, especially after meeting Douglas).

Meanwhile Adam loves Mr. Davenport in an abstract sort of way but doesn't like him at all. Donald isn't good with kids and Adam always preferred his siblings so they never really bonded. He holds no real resentment toward him or anything, they can have fun together sometimes, but in his mind Donald Davenport is just some freak they all tolerate. Like a pet. And Leo feels the same but with an extra dash of pity bc God that man is pathetic.

Marcus & Daniel neither love nor like Donald, due to both inherited hatred from Douglas & also because that man is a Freak. Though Daniel comes around, probably after he gets in a fight with Douglas & Donald helps him get revenge or smth.
