After wrangling with his inner Tory, Andrew Sullivan goes all in for Kamala Harris... but it's mostly driven by an apocalyptic vision of what Trump would mean for the world. "We do not have a serious Republican candidate. We have the most shameless charlatan in American political history — and there are plenty of competitors. He is unfit in every respect to be president of the United States. To say this is not a function of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” It is not about being upset by “mean tweets” or grotesque rhetoric. It is not the same as falling for some of the worst Resistance myths — that Trump is a longtime Soviet/Russian asset. I’ve steadfastly called out the excesses of the Resistance. They have done as much harm to liberal democracy as good. I haven’t thrown out all my conservative principles as some have. But I can also see what’s directly in front of my nose.
Trump does not merely break norms. He has broken the norm, the indispensable norm for the continuation of the republic, the norm first set by George Washington when he retired from office, the norm that changed the entire world for the better: accepting the results of an election. This is the meaning of America, and Trump despises it. I do not think this is even within his personal control. He is so genuinely psychologically warped that he has never and will never agree to the most basic requirement of public office: that you quit when you lose; and that the system is more important than any individual in it.
He is not lying when he insists that he won in 2016 and 2020 by massive landslides in the popular vote. He believes it. He believes he will win by a landslide in November, and there is no empirical evidence that could convince him otherwise. If he loses the election, he will call it a massive fraud one more time, and foment violence to protest it. We know this more certainly than we know anything about Kamala Harris. He tried to leverage mob violence to disrupt our democracy once. If that was not disqualifying, nothing is. And nothing done by his opponents or enemies can justify or mitigate it."

1970s: The F-105 and Reserve 508th Tactical Fighter Group at Hill AFB
May 21, 2020
HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah --
Editor's note: This feature is part of a Hill Air Force Base 80th anniversary series. These articles will feature the base’s historical innovations and achievements, and will highlight mission platforms that have been operated and supported throughout the decades.
During the 1970s, several Hill Air Force Base tenant organizations made various changes. Formerly assigned to the 452nd Tactical Airlift Wing, the Air Force Reserve 945th Military Airlift Group was reassigned to the 301st Tactical Fighter Wing on July 1, 1972. Resulting from this reassignment, the first of 18 newly assigned F-105 Thunderchief aircraft arrived at Hill AFB on September 24, 1972, for the 945th.
Shortly thereafter, on November 27, 1972, the last C-124 Globemaster assigned to the group departed Hill AFB. A few months later, the 945th inactivated. Concurrently, the AFRES constituted the 508th Tactical Fighter Group and activated the unit at Hill AFB. The new group received the F-105 aircraft which had briefly been assigned to the 945th. Three months later, AFRES inactivated the 508th on March 25, 1973, and in its place activated Detachment 508 of the 301 TFW in order to provide the wing’s organizational structure conformity with other units in the command. Subsequent requirements, however, necessitated the reactivation of the 508th Tactical Fighter Group on October 17, 1975, at which time Detachment 508, 301 TFW, inactivated.
On October 10, 1978, AFRES activated the 405th Combat Logistics Support Squadron at Hill AFB and assigned the unit to the 508 TFG. Prior to this, on October 1, 1977, the 508th lost three of its assigned squadrons: the 7th Supply Squadron, Mobile; the 7th Maintenance Squadron, Mobile; and the 5th Augmentation Squadron, Wendover Auxiliary Field.
The AFRES inactivated the 508th Tactical Fighter Group at Hill AFB on October 1, 1982, concurrently activating the 419th Tactical Fighter Wing. Despite the fact that the 419th Fighter Wing’s 466th Tactical Fighter Squadron continued to fly the F-105 until March 1984, the 508 TFG was the last unit assigned the F-105. In June 1983, the 419th TFW, assigned the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, began retiring the F-105s it inherited from the 508th TFG upon the unit’s inactivation.
Shortly before beginning this process, the 466th TFS flew a 24-ship “diamonds on diamonds” formation with the F-105 as a salute to the aircraft’s many contributions. The F-105 flew and fought in the skies of Southeast Asia during the conflict in Vietnam. On February 25, 1984, F-105 combat veterans reunited at Hill AFB and conducted the final F-105 missing man formation.
During this ceremony they dedicated aircraft 62-4347, the F-105 with the most air time, as a monument to those who served with F-105s and especially those who gave their lives while doing so. The last F-105 (aircraft 62-8287, an F model) departed Hill AFB on March 10, 1984, for Chanute AFB, Illinois, where it was put on display.

Please, spill some tea on Al’s relationships. 😭 Someone on quora has said Diane is painting herself as the victim while we don’t know his perspective, that she is the one who never had a long term and stable relationship while her exes went on to have their own families. And I’m like… dude… Al Pacino has kids but he sure hasn’t had a stable relationship with anyone, lol.
AH HELL NO, NO BULLSHIT ABOUT DIANE LIKE THAT >:( Also incredibly mean and more than likely untrue lmao like we need to automatically take Al's side on what happened in their relationship? 👀 I mean really, it was a private relationship between two adults that started like ~50 years ago, so based on what's publicly out there, I know that...
Diane said on the Ellen show she had quite a few relationships that lasted "about 5 years". She also said no man she ever dated proposed to her, which is why she didn't end up married. I actually ended up finding out that Warren Beatty did in fact propose to Diane but she said no. I found on this article a reason why, which is Diane wanting to focus on her career, but I can't find the original source I read it on which didn't state a reason--just simply that Diane didn't want to marry him. I read that this happened during the filming of a movie they had together and as a result, Warren made Diane rehearse a scene (or something) again and again on purpose to take his frustration out on her. Again, don't know if this is true or not, just what I read!
Also, to assume that someone hasn't had stable relationships because they never married or have children is such utter bullshit.
Y'all wanna talk about unstable relationships? Let's talk about Al Pacino real quick. 😂
Al's first mentioned gf was Jill Clayburgh, an actress and I believe they got together around 1967. The broke up a short while after TFG released. Al talked about wanting to marry her and have kids in the future but what did he do? He told her he was in love with another woman and left her just like that.
We know how on and off Al was with Diane and how that one ended. What I still can't find any info on or make sense of is them breaking up in 1990, but no mentions of breakups in 1988 or 1989, but Al having a child in 1989 with someone else? Sheesh.
There was an interview Al and Marthe Keller did together around the Bobby Deerfield days. Marthe was almost describing what kind of wedding/wedding gown she would want to wear. She was saying no pressure on marriage/kids, and the interview described Al as being quiet, awkward and not saying anything. Marthe was head over heels, swooning a whole paragraph about how amazing Al was and he said nothing. All he did was smile awkwardly. They broke up later down the line of course, and Marthe I believe kept one of his mugs he drank out of.
I'd recommend reading "A Life on the Wire" for all the Al relationship tea, let me tell you that. Personally from what I've read in it, "unstable" doesn't even begin to cover it lmfao. Cut Diane some slack, y'all. 😭

kinda pissed there has been absolutely no mention of Blake and TFG theme song? wtf?
I heard two things on this. Both were just reading comments on articles so nothing concrete.
One said the studio heads thought those 80s lyrics rating women’s looks with numbers were problematic (kind of dumb imo because it’s only one line and in the context it’s just supposed to be a guy being cocky). The other said that the song does play at the credits and that it is so good that it is worth staying seated to hear.

SINGAPORE — Truth about Mamimumemo Part 1
NOTE: Everything disclosed here is truthful and fact-checked by multiple sources. We will try our best to provide only factual evidence about him.
It may be updated as more information comes in.
Also note, these screenshots have been provided to us by third parties, who came to us with this evidence. Please do not harass, witch-hunt, dox, or go out of your way to harm these third parties mentally or physically. They are victims of a disgusting gross person. It could’ve been you.
We have also been informed that Mami has also had a past history of stalking their ex, and bragging about it.
We also have just been informed that he would spit on toys he’d send to his paying customers, and laugh about it.
All images have been censored in correspondence to the third parties wishes, thank you.
(Repost from Here)
================================================
Mami, or the multiple names he goes by including, but not limited to:
Den.den.boy
Kentan99
Athenaart
Magyosen
Xychen31869
Mamimumemo
Kentanxy99
poketechnic999
XY Chen
In this Article, we will refer to him by his most known name in the /asp/ community, Mami.
In short, he sexpests, doxxes, and is a pedophile.
He is infamous in the /toy/ community, specifically in /tfg/ for doxxing clients who have purchased from him in the past, doxxing people in general, selling unreleased toys and creating his own extremely racist versions of specific toys.

Sadly, dude making them is Kenneth Tan. I know the guy. Faggot of the highest order and an asshole on top of that. He’s been kicked out of so many groups it’s like he’s trying to set a record. You’ll never be able to purchase these files as he gets all of his money from his parents and is mainly doing this project to piss people off. He sits back and laughs at people like you, calling the retarded dumbasses who can’t make things for themselves
His past life is connected to this ROBLOX, this is where the first connection of mamimumemo being Athena was made.
Not only that, but he talks about being from Singapore in his streams and in DMs.
His ‘private’ account that he’d use to talk about girls has a picture of his face, which cross-reference to /toy/ gives us this:
When asked more information about Mami, we were told this by someone who knew him from his Transformer days:
Stories from uninvolved parties of current situation, talking about Athena’s past doings:
Mami has been ostracized from his local fanclubs, and shunned from the Transformer community.
Stealing toys from factories and selling them for high prices so Youtubers can review them is illegal.
Vtuber History and Sexpesting:
We don’t know why Mami decided to start his career as a Vtuber. We do know that he did draw before ever considering Vtubing.
No idea at the moment but he did just ramp up to 10 right after all the athena posting stopped. Could be Athena is banned at the moment and a new retard is vying for the king of the autstic shit posters (lmao) or perhaps Athena is not banned and he’s found himself a new shitpost style he likes more than his usual brand of moronic posting. But I mean how many autistic retards can we possible have here?
I supposed this is what being a poorfag who can’t afford toys does to you. You have to put all the time and energy you might have dedicated to enjoying toys in to trying to ruin the fun of every one who can afford the toys you cannot.
You figured they would just put that energy into anything else to make their lives better, but nope they spend it here day in and day out being the absolute most autistic morons they can possibly be and proud of that fact.
Mami’s activity started to wind down as soon as he was gaining more public attention from the wider vtubing community. He was getting attention and commissions from high profile clients.
Pathetic guy who shitposts here and in the 3rd party general. Hates life and himself and fancied himself a 3rd party toy designer and posted a bunch over on TFW. He has a horrible personality though and blew up over there alienating everyone who might have considered his toy designs (which were bland and boring). He’s also one of the leakers here and got buttmad when his leaks were reposted them for a TFW story credit and is broke Athena entirely so he bitched about it on his twitter and now everyone knows for sure it was him.
So basically a shitty little troll desperate for attention.
His Ebay Account
Archive of the site in case he takes it down
Proof this is HIS ebay account
Sexpesting
Mami sexpests his clients, past ones or current ones. He’d always ask ‘do you have a boyfriend?’ ‘Are you single? He also regularly asks nudes from his clients, and begs when they tell him no.

So most articles, when addressing the debate and what each candidate should do. Most say Harris must “fill in the blanks and talk policy.” They also say that what TFG needs to do is act normal. So policy for Harris and not policy for Trump, just don’t be a butthole. They absolutely do not care if Trump has no policy at all.

New York Times article on “What if Trump wins?”
Speaking of Trump's racist immigration policies, the New York Times has published a helpful but incomplete list of key agenda items in a second Trump term (which I do no believe will happen). The list is too antiseptic and omits some obvious issues—withdrawing from the Paris climate accords and cutting Social Security and Medicare, but it is a handy reference for those seeking to educate other about Trump's dark plans.
The article is here and is accessible to all: If Trump Wins.
As much as I appreciate the effort that went into the article, it repeats a mistake that most media is committing: It assumes that Trump will be able to accomplish everything he claims he will do. That is just not true. For example, he claims he will “impound” funds appropriated by Congress if he doesn’t like the program or recipient of the funds. But Congress has passed a law that prohibits unilateral impoundment. Indeed, Trump's unilateral withholding of funds appropriated for the defense of Ukraine was the cause of his first impeachment.
Moreover, as the Times noted in a separate article, the “resistance” to a possible second Trump terms has already begun. Civil liberty and pro-democracy organizations are already planning their litigation strategy against illegal actions by Trump. See New York Times, The Resistance to a New Trump Administration Has Already Started. This article is accessible to all.

S/S ’19 in Review; Presentations and Lookbooks
Back when I first made this blog, I made a promise to myself to review all the collections that made me Feel Things. Of course, that was before the season, and before my list of collections grew to over five dozen. Similarly, it was before NaNoWriMo, where I lost four weeks progress on this blog. After doing a little math, I realized there was no way I would be able to finish all the reviews before couture week kicked off. Considering I want to review all the major couture collections (plus the miscellaneous posts on other topics I wanted to throw in), as well as my current pace, there was no way that was happening. So here we are; I’m going to attempt to knock out every S/S ’19 collection shown as a presentation or lookbook in this one post. As a separate challenge for myself, I’m also going to try to limit each review to under two-hundred words. It’s an exercise in brevity, the archnemesis in all my writing ventures. Can I do it? Let’s find out!
—PAULE KA Of the sixty-some-odd collections that made my favorites list this season, Paule Ka ranked last. Not necessarily a bad thing, considering it actually made the list, but not a ringing endorsement. To put it plainly, while I liked some looks, I was indifferent about most. There were a few, such as the ones with the large heart appliqués, that I actively disliked. The bows that are a signature of the brand occasionally tended towards comically large, or even very young, but I’m generally not a fan of large bows anyway. Many of the dresses felt like things I’d seen before…in the Macy’s prom section. But perhaps that is a testament to the influence of brand, which just celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. The looks I did like were the ones that included sheer panels. For example, the grey-and-white dress in the first page of the lookbook, which was an interesting take on the half-cape (even if it did include a big shoulder bow). While the placement of the placement of the sheer panel in looks 16 and 17 might not be practical for a night out, I enjoyed them as well. Paule Ka isn't the most expensive brand on this list, but the clothes fit the pricetag.
—ALEXIS MABILLE Alexis Mabille's namesake brand inhabits a strange place in my mind. His couture collections veer into saccharine for me; all cloying sweetness with no depth, no edge to balance it out. However, his ready-to-wear collections are more restricted, and that's probably for the best. Not to mention the possibility that individual pieces can be incorporated into less cutesy outfits. This time, it wasn't hard to imagine. The lookbook model wore a reflective shield over her face, adding a delightfully surreal element to the collection. It was still undeniably an Alexis Mabille collection, however. Season after season, Mabille finds new and creative ways to sew a collared button-up or trench coat. The craftsmanship in tailoring deserves special mention, particularly on the pieces where patterns were matched across seams. Looks 1 and 6 used this method to create a beautiful chevron. Unfortunately, the collection suffered from familiar drawbacks in Mabille's work. Some of the satin silk pieces felt...off in a way I can't accurately describe. Look 24 throws a lot at you in terms of pieces and color. However, I would consider wearing each of the pieces individually.
—ELLERY Of the designers on this list, Kym Ellery's concept was probably the most, well, conceptual. Literally; it was inspired by Paul Kos' conceptual piece "Sound of Ice Melting". Like the artwork that inspired it, this collection was meant to be perceived through multiple means. The campaign, film, and presentation were all meant to be part of the collection itself, not just a way to advertise the pieces within it. So what does this mean for the clothes themselves? On one hand, aside from the occasional shared design element, there aren't too many obvious themes. The looks covered many occasions and styles - from casual sportswear to sparkling crop tops that would be perfect for a night out. However, all the pieces look like they could belong in the closet of the same woman. While the garments were more individually-focused than others on this list, they are also some of the most wearable. My only major complaint is for the lookbook itself. Some of the poses, as well as the bright lighting on lighter fabrics, made it difficult to see the clothes. And, trust me, I wanted to see the clothes.
—NABIL NAYAL Nabil Nayal has been designing for over a decade now. He's won all kinds of awards, dressed everyone from Florence Welch to Rhianna, and collaborated with both Christopher Bailey at Burberry and Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel. Yet this is the first year I've heard of him, and that's a shame. All his artist statements and biographies mention his love of English history - particularly the Elizabethan era. He even earned his Ph.D. in the university where this collection was presented. That inspiration was quite literal in this collection. Prints included both original transcripts of famous Queen Elizabeth I speeches to depictions of the queen herself. In other places it was less obvious, such as the front ruffles or frilly collars on everything from shirts to trench coats. Previous collections by Nayal have been more sportswear-focused, but this collection was breezier. At times a little shapeless, the intricate prints and tailoring still made the garments beautiful. The makeup, which mimicked the script print of some pieces, also deserves a mention.
—VERA WANG From Elizabethan England to pre-revolutionary France. Where Nayal used his source of inspiration quite literally, taking the designs in a modern direction, Vera Wang went futuristic and avant-garde. Her designs are all about shape and volume, and there was a lot to play with in her chosen time period. This mix of past and future was clear from the first look, which included a style of cap sleeves (called "engageantes") popular among King Louis XIV's court, but rendered in black lace on a babydoll dress. Other times, the classic silhouette was used, but recreated with hard lines and sharp edges. Neck ruffles and puffed sleeves abounded, but the little details were also beautiful. There were several versions of seams made up of grommets, which added a hard edge to the romantic, lacy garments. Some of the pieces in the collection might not be the most wearable, but that hardly matters. They're art.
—WENDY NICHOL Is it possible to exude downtown grunge and uptown glamor at the same time? Wendy Nichol may have just cracked the code. In this collection, she combined clean lines with sheer fabrics to brilliant effect. All the looks in the campaign were styled by the models who wore them, showcasing not only their personalities, but the versatility of the garments. (One of these models happens to be Ilana Glazer, probably most known for her staring role in "Broad City", and a favorite actress of mine.) Some were dressed more casually, in shirt/pants/jacket combos that would be perfect for grabbing lunch with friends at a café. Others wore mini-dresses that looked ready for a night out clubbing. There were also creative takes on this season's staples, like bike shorts and belted blazers. My favorite (look 2), a gauzy black dress, was particularly beautiful; like something a member of the Unseelie Court might wear. Or, you know, me on a Friday night.
