Just another TFA x TFP Crossover idea Pt. 2 - The Decepticons

Alright, let's get back into this AU

So, I left off with Team Prime. It's time for the Decepticons.

Knockout joins the autobots in Predacons Rising, we all know that. But trust takes time, and memories last long. The autobots don't accept him, even if Team Prime has some trust with him. So, the Decepticons label him a traitor, and the autobots don't allow him in their ranks. What is he to do? He takes off his decepticon badge but does not wear the autobot. With his knowledge of medicine, he makes the first clinic on cybertron with the support of Ratchet. Customers reluctantly come for his aid. But he never turns anybot anyway. He soothes the worries of his fellow decepticons and shows the autobots that not all decepticons are like Megatron or Starscream. His clinic is the first place where autobots and decepticons can coexists. Once Ratchet joins him, it becomes a place of scrutiny of the council. The clinic is proof that autobots and decepticons can work together. The council - and some autobots - do not like that. So, once Ratchet is publicly blacklisted, Knockout and the clinic becomes blacklisted too. The clinic becomes a blackmarket medical practice. Former decepticons start to only use his clinic, boycotting council funded clinics. Team Prime was patched up by Ratchet countless times as well, so they still go to his clinic. And once Optimus is discovered as resurrected, Knockout's clinic is the only one he goes to so that no other medic will notice his identical spark signature. But to the council, the clinic is underfunded and will eventually no longer be working. But underground, it remains the safest and most trustworthy. Knockout's clinic becomes the start of the new rebellion. It's not officially the decepticon cause, but it is against the council.

Starscream has always been arrogant and ambitious. That doesn't change. But after escaping Predaking, he is stuck on Cybertron with no spaceship that can take him to another planet. So, he remains underground, sowing dissent with the autobot regime, speaking whispers of the evil Team Prime for killing Lord Megatron and latter banishing him after his resurrection, for blacklisting their former medic, for not advocating for true equality. And the decepticons listen to him. Afterall, Starscream learned a thing or two under Megatron, the lord of deception himself. He eventually forms a following, taking up the decepticon name, but their ranks are very small and there is hardly anything the can do without being thrown in jail. They start a black market, but avoid Knockout's clinic when they learn he also treats autobots. Starscream stills holds a grudge for that hit from Knockout. They sell illegal blasters to other decepticons and form rallies against the council. However, the council uses them as a political move to say that any decepticon - former or not - are evil and are secretly forming a plot to take over the planet. Once again, Starscream just causes problems. His followers have no politicians on their side so they have no way to advocate for their cause and ideals, and they are perceived by the public as bots who cannot leave the war behind them.

Shockwave is severely damaged after the terrecons. But he survived a groundbridge explosion, and shot in the optic by Arcee, and he is a scientist. So he changes his form to be something bigger. Stronger. But he stays underground, using his secret labs that Bumblebee did not fully uncover from Darkmount. But before the Great War, he was a senator. So he notices what the tyranny of the council. But this time he changes tactics. He becomes Longarm, a kind bot with the goal of the intelligence corp. Bootcamp in TFA goes the same, even with contacting Megatron. It is Shockwave who finds out that Bumblebee's and Bulkhead's memories have been wiped, and he informs Megatron. Setting up Wasp to take the fall as a spy was a great way to secure his position, but it means he gets the trust of Bumblebee, the scout who can take out his leader. Shockwave hopes to get Bumblebee on his side. Politically, if Bumblebee supported the decepticon cause, it would influence a lot of autobots to switch sides. But first, he must restore his memory. Good thing he created the cortical psychic patch. And he has a test subject he can use it on first to make sure it works - Bulkhead. But he never gets the chance to try it out since both Bulkhead and Bumblebee get stationed off world. And who would be smart enough to figure out Shockwave's plan? Wheeljack, the chief engineer. Now, for more drama, Wheeljack does not know Longarm's true identity, just that Shockwaves has a plan to use science similar to the cortical psychic patch to restore his friends' memories. Sure, Wheeljack could allow Shockwave to proceed, but he is not an idiot. The cortical psychic patch is not good, so no way is he letting his teammates go through that. Besides, Shockwave could make new memories for the two that would support the decepticon cause. He cannot let that happen. So, he reaches out to Ultra Magnus, revealing that his memories are still intact but Bulkhead and Bumblebee need to get off world before Shockwave hatches his plan.

Megatron left Cybertron once free from Unicron. And with Optimus dead and his most loyal Soundwave stuck in the shadowzone, he has no one left. He fully understands that he lost the war and oppression is wrong. But slowly, through decepticons who are unhappy with the political climate of cybertron leave the planet to find him, he hears of an autobot council that discriminates, that supports functalism, that oppresses free speech. He calls them fools, that in the end, he was correct. He becomes extremely bitter. The cybertron he left was in the ideals of Orion Pax. and Megatronous. But with Optimus Prime's death, those ideals are lost. It's time for the decepticons to rise up.

But he takes a different approach. As the leader of the decepticons, he is banished from cybertron. But that doesn't stop Shockwave from getting in contact with him. Together, they form a plan to covertly overthrow the council with Shockwave acting as Longarm. Initially, Megatron wants to just stop the council, and stay in the shadows, and not start another war, not become the leader. He initially allows Ultra Magnus to remain in his position, even if he is no Optimus Prime. But through Longarm's information, he learns that Magnus is too militaristic, even if he is at the mercy of the council. Megatron is militaristic, and look where he ended up. So, Magnus has to go. Or, perhaps that is more Shockwave's influence. I have not yet decided yet.

The tipping point is when he learns that the scout who killed him had his memory wiped. He resents that scout, but Bumblebee is a very capable warrior, and any warrior who can take him down deserves the utmost respect. The council crossed the last line in taking away Bumblebee's memories. He rallies the decepticons that left cybertron, either in search of him or a new home off cybertron. This causes a rift between him and Starscream. However, for one mission, they work together and that is to take the Allspark off world. The cybertron Optimus sacrificed his life for is no longer their homeworld. Optimus would be ashamed of what cybertron has become. Or that's at least what Megatron thinks and uses to justify his actions. And maybe that is true. The point is, Megatron takes action. With information from Shockwave and Starscream's underground network, they steal the Allspark off world. But in TFP, the Matrix of Leadership is combined with the allspark from Optimus, so the mission goes ascrew, and the Allspark is lost in space.

And a certain space bridge repair crew happens to find it. Or maybe it is fate for Optimus Prime to protect the Allspark.

The council, ashamed that they let the allspark be taken off world, use the attack as justification to banish all Decepticons. And since Cybertron can no longer produce life without the allspark, the council allows protoform molds to be made. These new protoforms are different. They are products of the well of the allspark, but they have limited autonomy. The just seem to have no drive to pursue goals or have any ambition. It's severely concerning to any good medic, especially Knockout. Remember, it was his clinic along with Ratchet that found out Optimus had been resurrected. Once again, life on cybertron slows down. New generations are not being created. And Knockout, who initially joined the decepticons, so slowly being reminded about why he joined them in the first place. With the help of Ratchet, he keeps to his cause as a nonpartisan medic, but once Ratchet is forced to join Teletran-1, Knockout's support dwindles. Starscream notices, and tries to recruit him to his cause, but both mechs hold bitter resentment towards each other for their time on earth and dealing with Unicron. They become reluctent allies - Knockout treats Starscream's decepticon's at a very low rate while Starscream promotes Knockout's clinic to other bots, helping it to stay in business. It is very transactional, but for former decepticons, a bot has to do anything to survive.

Eventually, news of Knockout's fame in the underground world reaches Wheeljack. Remember, Wheeljack is hiding his memories from the council as their chief engineer. But he needs his own stability and a way to fix Arcee, Bulkhead's, and Bumblebee's memories. So he begins to looks at the black market. Initially, he just needs scientific equipment, but that turns into the need for a full lab, which Knockout has. Wheeljack does like the idea of working with decepticons (former or not) but he has little say in the matter and he would do anything for Bulkhead. And, Wheeljack hates to admit it, but Knockout knows his way around labs, medical or not. And with lethal weapons being banned for most bots except the Elite Guard, he needs a place to hide his lethal creations and his bombs. With Knockout's connection to the blackmarket, together they form an underground network of various supplies. Knockout has never been a fan of the cortical psychic patch, so he agrees to help Wheeljack restore Bumblebee's and Bulkhead's memories before Shockwave. Afterall, Shockwave was demeaning to him on the nemesis while they were making cybermatter, and the autobots gave him a chance to be a new bot. He chooses the autobots over the decepticons. Once Starscream gets involved, the partnership between Wheeljack and Knockout almost goes nonexistent. Wheeljack will never forgive everything Starscream has done. They eventually work together again once Megatron is fully back in the picture. Knockout likes his independence and not feeling fear for failing Megatron, so he is not jumping at the chance to be a decepticon again. Wheeljack is an autobot through and through. He wants Megatron out for good.

So, to set the stage for out decepticons: Starscream and Megatron each lead a faction of decepticons - one on Cybertron and another in the stars, Knockout is an underground/black market medic with the grounds to start a new rebellious movement while working with Wheeljack, and Shockwave is a spy and still extremely loyal to Megatron.

Wheeljack is becoming the star of the show. He has knowledge that the council thinks has been wiped, connections with Knockout and eventually Ultra Magnus, and figured out Shockwave's plan. I'm still figuring out what exactly I want to do with him that keeps in line with is TFP personality and his G1 engineering.

There is one thing I forgot. In Predacons Rising, Optimus mentions that the Matrix of Leadership cannot be passed down. So when the council wants to grant Primehood to Ultra Magnus and then Bumblebee, both bots know it is impossible. That is how they know the council is not in the interest of all cybertronians.

As we get into TFA storyline, TFA Megatron is very different from TFP Megatron. TFA Megatron has no interest in learning the names of his adversaries, is more soft spoken - almost like a Moriarty character - while TFP Megatron is quick to anger and likes to show force and is obsessed with Optimus Prime. Both are very clever and know how to use words to their advantage. So, here is how I will explain this character arc. TFP Megatron is lost without having a worthy adversary, and that was Optimus Prime. With his death, there is no one else worth learning the name of. So, a little red a blue autobot that if he looked closely enough, would resemble Orion Pax? No, he refuses to think about it. Optimus is dead. That is why in TFA he does not care to call Optimus by any name, just refers to him as autobot. Ironic, since autobots don't seem to have autonomy. He always just calls them autobots in a twisted way to remind them that they are autonomous beings, called autobots, like how TFP Megatron explained to Orion Pax that they are called Decepticons because "if saying the truth is deception, then they are gladfully guilty" (such as good line!). It doesn't seem to work through, but Megatron keeps trying, even if his method is a little messed up.

Other TFA decepticons, such as Lugnut, Stricka, and Blitzwing are some of the decepticons that leave cybertron to find Megatron. They are generally the same as TFA. I'm still struggling with Blackarachnia/Elita-1. On one hand, Elita-1 in G1 is really cool, not just the love interest of Optimus Prime. In TFP, there was a cut line by Ratchet in "Stronger, Faster" that Elita-1 was killed on Cybertron. And I already have it that Optimus is resurrected, why not Elita-1? Or, this could be a fully TFA lore for her, making it more tragic that Optimus has a chance at a new life with new friends his age (Sentinel) and a love interest (Elita-1). So what does that mean for him when his memories are returned? Lockdown is still a bounty hunter, but I think he would use both Starscream and Megatron. The Starscream clones would be how Starscream keeps his decepticon forces a threat. Obviously, with Megatron's return, many decepticons changes to follow him, But Starscream likes his power, so his clones are a way to even the odds against both Megatron and the autobots.

There is still a lot with this AU, and I hope my rambling makes sense. Next up is probably more on Optimus as a sparkling to disgraced Prime.

OK so having seen some of the pics for what "arachnus prime" could have looked like in the canned fourth season of tfa,it got me thinking of an au/plot idea regarding the character that mixes several of the canned plots together. (Namely the initial "arachnus prime" idea,"trukk vs munkey" and the shattered glass episode "mirror mirror")

What if in this hypothetical plotline,optimus desire to save elita one in the past causes a split in the timeline,causing him to become technoorganic instead. Believed dead by his friends and abandoned by the civilization he so dutifully served, "arachnus" goes a little nuts in his isolation,his misery creating one hell of an insecurity/superiority complex. He doesn't join the decepticons, believing both sides were all in all just as bad as each other and strikes out on his own desperately searching the galaxy for a "cure" for his condition and causing chaos and destruction for cybertron using his advantage of how their systems work. These actions draw the attention of academy washout Elita One and her crew (grumpy,seen it all warrior Chromia,athletic ninja Firestar,and eager to prove young bots Nautica and Moonracer) of repair bots, "Arachnus" damage causing them no level of ire on the job.

This continues until an incursion from a different reality by four bots,the autobots Optimus,Ironhide and the predacons Blackarachnia and Optimus primal. (Who in a previous adventure cloned optimus multiple times after encountering several of starscreams clones wirh similar results,hoping to find a way to cure her own condition,primal being one of said clones who stuck with elita) When both sides fall in with their respective counterparts "Arachnus" is intrigued by Blackarachnias talk of an invention that can turn regular bots into technoorganics like him,and the pair team up (not the least due to their shared belief that cybertron as a whole is corrupt and generally hypocritical) in order to get back to Blackarachnias dimension. Shenanigans ensue however and not the least due to boths insecurities,Blackarachnia encountering her alternate self, and "arachnus" increasingly unhinged mental state, Blackarachnia is betrayed and left by the wayside while "arachnus" escapes to find her lab,from here,a few things happen.

With Elita as a mediator, Blackarachnia,Primal and Optimus finally talk after everything that happened,and optimus let's slip he really does think cybertron is currently a bit corrupt (not the least with Sentinel currently in charge,who optimus has long since grown irritated with) , but that doesn't mean they can't at least try to fix it,so even if Blackarachnia has her doubts,the three of them try to rebuild the device to send them home.

However, before they can stop him,"arachnus" reverse engineers elitas predacon-making machine,only for it to horrifically mutate him further into a saurian mishmash of machine and organic parts and driving the poor guy completely mad,hijacking Blackarachnias burgeoning project now convinced that the real way to deal with "the Cybertronian problem" is to turn the entire species into feral,technoorganic monsters just like him,with him as their leader and lord as the only one who had the foresight to see the problem at hand,yeeeesssss.....

Horrified by what she's unleashed,Blackarachnia,Primal and a gang of Cybertronians turned technoorganic by "Megatron's" (after all,if regardless of the timeline everyone will treat him like a monster,why shouldn't he take the name of the guy most fear akin to a bogyman) experiments team up to try and stop him,if the Cybertronian population can't stand them based on what they now look like, why not show them and "Megatron" the true maximal of what a few technoorganics can do,hmmm maximal...

All the while,imprisoned within the depths of iacon along with his most faithful,the real Megatron,despite the irritation with this young upstart using his name,sees the emergence of the "predacons" as an opportunity. Coupled with the increased amount of decepticon attacks within the outer regions this event is clearly taking a toll on the new magnus,making him all the more pliable and easily manipulated,any day now he's going to snap,and Megatron will use the opportunity to escape and continue his conquests...

TLDR: in an alternate dimension optimus becomes a giant spider instead of elita,he escapes into tfa optimus dimension and becomes the tfa version of beastwars megatron, with Blackarachnia forming the maximals to stop him.

I keep imagining the face of ultra magnus and Alpha trion in "de-extinction Au"

Ultra Magnus is having a helluva time. The autobots naturally knew that eventually their energy vault would run dry, but they honestly thought they'd have killed off all the decepticons and retrieved the Allspark far before that happened. Old UM has no one to blame but himself (well, and the rest of the council that voted to yeet the literal soul of their planet into deep space but yk), so he's trying to handle this with grace and dignity. Cleaning up the consequences of his own actions without complaint, though he's certainly not happy about having to rely on the the very people he fought so hard to berid of

As for Alpha Trion 👀 his story's actually gonna take a sharp turn. This is TFA, and as far as I'm concerned, AT is the AT. One of the original 13 Primes, god of knowledge, the whole shebang. But! He's still on Cybertron, not at all bothered by uhhh Literally Everything. TFA Cybertron is a nightmarish dystopia if you peel back the pretty colors and bells and whistles.

So, hear me out 👀 in typical Alpha Trion fashion after the Quintessential War, he was the only one of his siblings still standing. The divine law banning divine intervention was set into place to avoid such a catastrophe again, and though he missed his siblings greatly, he knew he couldn't just abandon the mortal world. Cybertron was in disarray after the fighting, all their mortal creations reeling and society reduced to rubble. He wasn't able to help them with his power as a god as per the new law, so instead, he gave himself a new body. A mortal body, with his immortal spark and memories still in tact but with his abilities sealed away. He helped them rebuild and took care of them as best he could, and tried to steer them in the right direction. But with the Quintessons' cruelty tainting them and with their Primes no longer able to answer their prayers, Cybertron took a turn for the worst. He was helpless to stop them as they started down a dark path of oppression and disenfranchisement, hatred and greed ruling their decisions rather than compassion or love.

By the time the war started he was already on the council, and was vehemently against any violent conflict: fighting only breeds more strife, and killing each other won't solve anything. He had quite a bit of sway, as the eldest on the panel and a beloved public figure to boot. So, in true TFA autobot fashion, the senate made the decision to shut him down in the best way they could.

Alpha Trion traded a lot of things when he took up his mortal body, giving up his power and invulnerability. He became weak to mortal threats, to sickness and injury and even manipulation. The senate knew they couldn't kill him, they needed him and his influence alive, so they turned to shadowplay and mnemosurgery to alter his personality and perception. And because he was a mortal in all but spark, it worked.

When the de-extinction plot comes into play, I'd argue roughly half of the council members are shadowplayed puppets, perfect zombies to rule over the autobot population and keep their pristine machine running at maximum efficiency. One of Megatron's demands for the surrogacy program was a complete ban on such barbaric practices, in addition to the reversal of any shadowplay or empurata to the best of their ability, for every victim. Anyone that had ever gone under the knife to be "fixed" was to have their previous selves restored as well as they could be. There's a heavily encrypted database only the Magnus and the single top surgeon for each field are privy to, a list of everyone they've ever had to edit so they can routinely screen them and make sure they're still functioning properly.

That's how it's revealed that the majority of their senators have been changed, as well as roughly 20% of the active elite guard. It's rampant, 1 in 5 mecha meant to serve and protect and keep the government running aren't even really themselves. It's appalling, honestly, and most of them don't even know they were changed. That's the ugliest truth about mnemosurgery and shadowplay: if a job is done cleanly, the victim will never even be aware that they were hurt in the first place.

When Alpha Trion emerges from anesthesia after his corrective operation, it hits him all at once, all the millions of years he spent under their control and all the atrocities he'd sat back to passively witness, and he's horrified. Furious. Cybertronians have fallen so far from grace he barely recognizes them anymore, and... he doesn't think he wants to dwell amongst them any longer.

Hello! Sorry for the wait, I kinda... blinked and I had read through all of your recs! haha... (And I struggled a lot w the length of the summaries and number of bookmarks shdjd pinning it down to 7 and a blog was A Struggle) the rid2015 rec was BIG LOVE I adore musings on how growing up in a war might have affected Bee and the ways it manifests. And the mission fic!! I love those :) also I kindaaa cheated and the first three are all from the same writer but they're the ones I Reread Endlessly so I had to rec em all

Transformers Prime, pre-canon, Gen, 19k, complete. origin fic! a take on how bee might have ended up with the autobots in tfp - and the logistics involved, bc new bots are a precious resource in their war...focus on Ratchet and Bumblebee, but has a wider ensemble cast! jazz :D

Do You Like Bees? by Stardustjinn. Transformers Prime, between eps 21-22, Gen, 3.3k, complete. Bee is a clever sneak who cares about his friends getting enough rest, and Ratchet with his synth-en project isn't. The result is...about what you'd expect :)

Pedal to the Metal by Stardustjinn. Transformers Prime, pre-canon, Gen, 14.2k, complete. Bridge malfunction drops Arcee and Bee half a week away from the base, and they have to make it back. It's not quite a mission fic, more like a series of unfortunate events. Focus on Arcee and Bee's bond but everyone makes an appearance eventually :D Cliffjumper included! He's not dead yet haha

Golden Slumbers by JellyDishes. Earthspark, Gen, 5.4k, complete. Cajoled into movie night with Mo, Robbie and the Malto bots, Bee falls asleep, and dreams, past and present blending. It's like...a gentle exploration of Bee's deep-seated fears. It made me cry, and it comes with gorgeous art, so what's not to love really

Brave Educational Experience by rahelum. Earthspark, Gen, 3.3k, complete, references to past voice loss that I'm fairly sure aren't canon in this continuity? It becomes apparent that growing up during a war might have left some gaps in Bee's education, Ratchet steps up to fill in after everyone's freakout is done and over with :P

Nefarious Jazz - Decepticon Demise by BlushLouise. G1, Gen, ~1k, complete. Only Spec Ops would think "Creative ways to end the decepticons" makes a good party game. Jazz plots, as expected, and Bee watches and learns like the sneak he is (affectionate)

If Anything Happens to Either of Us by JCMorrigan. Animated, Gen, 1.9k, complete. Prowl and Bumblebee talk in the aftermath of Nature Calls, bc I love TFA but the lack of talking things out sometimes REALLY grates despite knowing what to expect from most cartoons

I need to get more tfa bee fics, the number of times I WISHED I could rec digger bees but no, no, you WROTE that :') if you have the time, maybe you'd like to check @ justawannabearcheologist 's blog here in tumblr, their "tfp weeljack in tfa" au is pretty neat - their rewrites of total meltdown and nanosec are my favorite out of the lot (predictably haha) I like it when Bee risking life and limb to prove himself is treated with due seriousness.

Weird Idea About TFA x Helluva Boss Referencing A Meme From A Undertale AU: Don’t Touch Soundwave or Octavia!!!

[Note: Spoilers from Undertale AU called “Underpants” by Sr Pelo, that is thanks to this idea poping in my head that has to do with TFA, Helluva Boss and a bit of Hazbin Hotel. also Don’t Reblog This Without Permission]  

well if it was like Soundwave in his Demon form from Hazformers AU (by Blitzy-Blitzwing) and it has like a few characters in it...

and Sentinel is threatening to do harm to Soundwave, Shockwave could do what Toriel did in the Underpants true ending by Sr Pelo.

like Shockwave telling Sentinel to “don’t touch my child.” while also slapping his hand away from Soundwave. 

and then here comes Angel Dust and he is asking “Who’s touching the child?!”

and everyone both Autobot and Deceticon (in their demon forms), even Alastor, Husk and Niffty are all pointing to Sentinel Prime.

and then Sentinel gets punched and gets yelled at by a bunch of Demons, some being Autobots and Decepticons, and maybe even a few Exterminators.

and Stolas then points to Stella and says “she’s touching my owlet!”

even though Stella might be having her hand on Octavia’s shoulder.

(which technically means that Stolas isn’t lying...)

but that wont stop everyone else from getting after Stella for it.

and then Stolas could even point to Andrealphus next who is just a bit further away but not touching anyone, and says “he’s touching my owlet!”

and Blitz could be really enjoying the idea, and points to Robo-Fizzarolli and say “he’s touching my Loona!” which ends up having Robo-Fizzy get beat up as well.

Stolas and Blitzo just getting back at Stella, Andrea and Robo-Fizzy for being jerks.

Alastor could just be enjoying the show while eating popcorn chicken.

and Soundwave, Octavia and Loona just standing next to Alastor, being embarrassed by Shockwave, Stolas and Blitz’s actions, even if they do care about them....

While it’s not the bot he thought the Matrix would chose, Ultra Magnus is nonetheless pleased by the decision. Optimus is loyal to the autobots, hardworking and easy to control. An ideal true Prime, really.

Alpha Trion is likewise pleased with the Matrix’ choice. He knows that Optimus has a kind spark and while some see it as a weakness, he thinks it’s a strength. Is just happy that it wasn’t Sentinel that was chosen.

Now Sentinel is so fucking envious, holy shit. He remembers how the Matrix rejected him, how ashamed and disappointed he had felt and those feelings are coming back tenfold now that he’s heard that Optimus is the new true Prime. He has always prided himself with being in the Elite Guard, in being above Optimus in rank, but now he is his subordinate. Sentinel is very unhappy.

Megatron is angered but also feels a sort of relief at the same time. Yes, he’s angry that he wasn’t chosen, that some lowly autobot is seen as more worthy than him. But at the same time it’s also the very same Prime that defeated him, which makes the fact that he was defeated not as much of a soar point. Megatron had felt bothered by the fact that some random autobot had managed to bring him down but the knowledge that this Prime would then become the true Prime makes him feel better.

Ratchet is fucking relieved that it was Optimus that became the true Prime and not someone like Sentinel. Primus knows how bad that would have turned out. Always had a hunch that Optimus was someone worthy of being chosen by the Matrix so this doesn’t really come as a shock to him. He is however a bit worried that this new title will cause OP even more stress and grief.

Bumblebee is fucking cheering. Hell yeah the boss-bot is the true Prime! Couldn’t be anyone else! Perhaps a tad envious that Optimus is now even bigger but mostly just finds this new frame of his super awesome and cool.

There’s stars in Bulkhead’s optics. He always thought that Optimus was a great leader but he never really considered that he might be worthy to be the true Prime. His admiration of OP just skyrocketed.

Prowl, just like Ratchet, always had the feeling that Optimus might be someone worthy to be the true Prime though his reasons are more spiritual. Happy about the occasion.

Yep! Pharma is absolutely in this AU—as well as the CFau and Crack one too—and in all, he’s still an estranged medic long since booted from any legal work back on Cybertron.

He lost his credibility and more all those years ago when he found himself willing to do his fair share of cutting corners and hastily concealed malpractice to expedite his dream of getting his name down in the medical books—ultimately impressing his dear Mentor Ratchet, finally, in perfecting long-since banned risky experiments and surgeries—not to mention cruel and unusual temperament with the (supposedly) taboo practice of non-medicinal mnemosurgery.

His ambitions and aggression always got the bet of him, this hasn’t changed since he found himself working in freelance outposts. Light years away from Cybertron, he’s made a name for himself as a Good Doctor—but to his under-the-table black market part-dealing clients, he’s just about as bad as a Crooked Medic can get.

Bounty hunters and Arms Dealers like him for his business, a certain DJD member likes him for the occasional berth company and seemingly never ending supply of fresh T-Cogs—but no one actually likes him for his nasty temperamental personality, save for a young and naive Ratchet once upon a time.

they’ve got that amazing ‘new car smell’ those first few weeks, and instead of chittering like an Insecticons or vibrating their wings like a seeker—they beep and squeak, sometimes even honk a horn depending on the baseline altmode coding, to get their Creators’ attention before their vocalizer truly starts to kick online

Much like a seeker sparkling, they have to reach a certain ‘age’ (upgrade) to be able to transform completely, in between then they’re still able to rev those engines as a warning should they need it, as well as spin their wheels should they need a getaway HEELIES IF THEYRE LUCKY WOOHOOOOO—for seekers they can hover on their thrusters!

Crusade is actually pretty formal with Megatron. But yeah as a kid, Megs was always known as Carrier, but as Sadie got older and more aware of their surroundings—they definitely came to learn the true weight of that title and the fact that they were the progeny of the faction leader, a fact they should have really held onto with more pride. Not wanting to draw more attention to the already blatant favoritism (and nepotism) Crusade made a switch to addressing Megatron as Sir, My Lord, Lord Megatron, —ect. to better fit in with their fellow troops.

It bothers Megatron more than than he lets on. Crusade shouldn’t have to hide their high ranking as his child, the heir to the faction. Megs is their Carrier and can only order them around for so long, as their Leader however—pulling rank may just allow for their infuriatingly stubborn sparkling to listen to them should a day come where even a Carrier’s plea is dismissed.

Crusade does slip up every now and then and a ‘Carrier’ will slip—often hushed and annoyed though as Megs does like to tease every now and then, gotta remind them that they’re still his baby every once in a while :’)

Optimus however—whenever him and Crusade should truly reunite, will never be called Sire by Crusade, which they so heatedly established early on—Crusade never needed one and they don’t need one now, better to not let the title trigger those long-suppressed emotions. Sure enough though Optimus will get his moment.

For what I (hopefully will have) planned, their interactions with team Prime will be eh,,,interesting to each their own to say the least. Some more stressful than others BUT let’s not get into that until I’ve worked it out—for now I’ll just mention what they’re dynamics would be like when the drama of Oh Shit Boss Bot You’ve Been Hiding a Kid For HOW LONG has died down.

A usually touch-wary Crusade actually is the one to initiate a hug with Bulkhead, he’s the biggest and warmest and somehow is always happy to see them. Plus he tells cool recaps of Earth films and gifts them strange blobish paintings every now and then, all of which Crusade doesn’t exactly understand, but at least the colors are pretty.

Bee is annoying,,,which is what Crusade would say if confronted if they actually liked all the shenanigans Bee suggest they pull together, prank wars to the max, sparring for fun, video games?, DOUGHNUTS and RACES in the fortress halls??? Ahem. they are a super serious soldier, not a hooligan. But honestly, Bee is the one they seek out the most should they need an adventure, they missed out on a lot of this ‘fun’ growing up on the Nemesis—Bee seems to know how to balance a day of soldiering and dumbassery. sometimes.

Ratchet reminds them a bit too much of their Carrier than they’d care to admit. The medic is an old soul to his very core, perpetually tired but quick to snap into work mode, and sweet if you reallllllly squint. Sadie has been taught from day one to always respect medics, Ratchet obviously takes the cake on I’ve Seen Some Shit and for that alone Crusade both fears and admires Ratchet. Again, growing up on the Nemesis they didn’t have too many bots willing to talk much with them—but Ratchet (after he’s gone through his own lot of therapy, him AND Arcee. good lord) has a never ending pile of stories to share with them. Ratchet may throw in a few more colorful curses than necessary—which is SURPRISING bc Crusade thought they’d heard them all back home, but he’s entertaining and tells Crusade how it is, no sugarcoating. For that Crusade is grateful, there’s been too many half-truths thrown about to them in their recent years :’)

Ghost Prowl freaks them out—why does he deliberately have to be so sneaky?? Crusade has only met Prowl a fleeting handful of times (visits from the Allspark come with meaning, you know) and each time Crusade has been given nothing but odd riddles and poetic nonsense. Kidding. Prowl does like his wordplay’s but his given advice is always well meaning—the most firm and direct message Crusade has been passed though was probably most definitely “ Get those two cowards for mecha you call your Creator’s to stop fooling around with each other and SPEAK—at this rate it’s physically paining me that they haven’t begun Ritus and they’re not getting any younger”

Team Prime adores Sadie, they ask Megatron to see their sparkling photos every chance they catch him. And Crusade. hates it.

Ok so another TFA AU that I have spent far too long thinking about I’m sorry if I ramble, one where certain Autobots and Decepticons can fuse (like in SU) anybot can do a forced fusion where they focus on it but results are normally very unstable. However true fusion is super rare where it will just happen easily and sometimes unintended and happens when sparks match (aka Primus ships it)

The thing is fighting and dancing...kind of similar.

So imagine both Optimus and Megatron’s freak out when while Optimus is originally fighting Megatron off the two of them fuse.

They drop it quickly and are just both like ‘WHATTHEFUCKWHHATTHE FUCKWHATTHEFUCK!’ internally when the bomb goes off and everything’s kick started.

Optimus very pointedly does not mention to anyone that he and Megatron fused! He is trying to repress and ignore it and not read in to what that means cause those fusions are so rare he thought they are myth and nope he’s just going to not think about it...which is made very hard by the fact that fusing means the 2 who fused can see each other’s memories so yeah he’s dealing with that.

He thinks he’s doing a great job repressing everything...

Until Blitzwing and Bumblebee fuse while fighting...this time cause everyone’s there EVERYONE FREAKS OUT.

And well after that happens and Bee is freaking out and Sari has SO MANY questions. Well Optimus accidentally let’s slip

They fused again and well memories shared and now Lugnut and Blitzwing know...and kind of moved in with them apparently Lugnut needs to protect Lord Megatron’s intended and Optimus is dying of embarrassment and trying to pretend this isn’t happening.

Then Megatron comes back and things are...awkward. Both Megatron and Optimus are very pointedly NOT bringing it up and NOT thinking about it and would very much just like to fight each other but they’re pretty sure if they do that something will happen again.

All the others are just watching these two being ridiculous and placing bets and how long till fuse again.

The two do end up fusing, a few times...ok a lot. Not that they ever admit it.

Then the elite guard show up and the two are fused. No-one recognises them and since fusion is so rare they know they’re fused and a fusion of an Autobot and Decepticon (one red one blue eye kind of give it away) but no idea who... Magnus suspects Megatron not from the look as much as the fact he was almost blown up as soon as the other saw him.

Bulkhead: Wow your fusion really went all out at Ultra Magnus did Megatron take over completely for a bit

Alright so here me out. (I’m thinking TFA softbody looks btw)

Optimus, a.k.a Orion Pax, is the owner of a rundown diner on the outskirts of Los Iacon (Los Angelas, CA technically), all due to *somebody* Sentinel claiming that he stole recipes from his own restaurant. However, the diner still thrives. Not due to the money it gets from the customers, but because Orion is a renowned monster Hunter, under the name ‘Optimus Prime’. He’s been doing this shit for years. Running the family restaurant and keeping the barrier surrounding the city from falling so monsters don’t get in etc etc.

Megatron, a.k.a Montgomery Megatron, is the CEO of a large business, that mainly deals in arms trading and such. He has no interest in it but does it anyway. He’s only heard of monsters through stories and movies. He mainly uses his revenue to write poetry and books under the name 'PoK' or 'Prince of Kaon'.

The two of them meet, but Megatron keeps getting stood up by Optimus. Megatron, normally the kind of guy to just let them go, decides to figure out what the hell is going on and followed Optimus out on one of his ‘adventures’.

Optimus’ true identity is revealed, and the world of magic & monsters is as well.

oh, and some demon god or whatever wants to devour Megatron’s soul ig?? And OBVIOUSLY they fall in love.

Optimus: He's the dad! And funny because some of him lines are so hilarious ( esp the booby trap one XD). He's silly and likes to have fun despite being the leader. G1 Optimus is my absolute fav <3

Windblade: Ohohoh, my first impression was Cybervers and despite anyone opinions, I absolutely loved her! She's full of sass and such amazing friend. Telepathy makes things even more interesting, and I wish this would be explored MORE outside the Cityspeaker thing. And her design is gorgeous too!

Windblade: Same, I'm sticking to Cyberverse version with more additions ( like she's also a gremlin in my AU, Bumblebee is just enables her shbhs). Idk what to think about other version as I don't know much about them. Tho I would say, the IDW2 Windblade is so weird to me...bc apparently she's a cop too (whut??) and she seem dismissive towards Bumblebee even tho they are friends? Not for me.

Optimus: Every silly moment with him is a gem. I can't get enough of the idea of faction leader who occasionally will go "Oh look, a boobie trap that actually catches boobies" and "I will use my delicate lockpicking technique" and just blasts the fucking door XD

Windblade: Oh this is too many I cant choose ahaha! Every single interaction with Bumblebee is priceless and interesting how she was growing more relaxed around him and had fun! Being a Cityspeaker is sure a lot of pressure, and seeing her being herself when she makes a friend is precious.)

Idea for a story:

Optimus: In my cont I wanna explore the idea of Optimus being librarian, being kind and caring, but at the same he's not naive and hard to manipulate! He's a person who KNOWS history and aware and when he see it's repeating itself. Optimus is the rebel here, and knows how to deal with rich.

Windblade: I will dive deep into her telepathy and expand this idea. While Cityspeaker lore is interesting, imagine the possibilities when she can enter one's mind who, for example, suffered from mnemosurgery and try to help her patients to regain lost memories. Or at least some traces.

Windblade is a memory detective, who find pieces of information in her patient mind and put them together. Ans ofc, as psychiatrist she can use her abilities in therapy ( dont worry, anything done with consent!). So many possibilities!

Unpopular opinion:

Optimus: I don't have any.

Windblade: Cyberverse Windy is not terrible character and ppl's hate towards her is weird. I won't be surprised it's because she's friends with Bumblebee and many ppl hate him...so yeah...

Favorite relationship:

Optimus: It's interesting to see his dynamic with Megatron, since in many version they used to be friends, and then thing went to shit. In my cont there is a lot of drama between two because each believes the other sided with Functionists....but there only one belief is true.

Windblade: With Bumblebee 100%! Their friendship in Cyberverse is so, so good! My aroace ass was so damn happy seeing a such good platonic relationship that is deep. This dynamic gave me such strong Ghibli vibes bc in those movies love was always portrait as something mundane, something that always exist by your side, that you don't gave to go on the huge quest to find and prove it!

And so same with Windblade and Bumblebee! They just feel good with each, they don't need to throw vows and sacrifices for each other to prove how much they love. It's little things, like hugs, playing Cube with each other, drinking at Maccadam's, Windblade giggling every time Bumblebee does something silly and more.

Love it's just there, and gooooooosh I want MORE!

Optimus: He's a memelord! Mememus Prime! No one shall escape him. Prowl is crying in the corner.

First of all, hi!! Omg that's so nice (っ˘ω˘ς ) welcome welcome, glad to have you here

Second, I am HERE for that. The DRAMA. TFP and TFA are so wildly different, for several reasons but the most glaring one is that, in the aligned continuity, death is permanent. If you die your ass stays dead unless you're literally Primus's favorite (*cough* Optimus). In Animated, death is more of a guideline than a rule, and even if Starscream has the allspark fragment still inbedded in him and it can still keep him basically immortal even in another universe... his kids don't. This new world they'd landed in his hella violent and cruel compared to his old one, and while TFA definitely has a microcosm of it's own fucked up bs to deal with, TFP's earth is an active warzone. One wrong move and you're dead. No do overs. Dead.

Given the way that the jet twins were created, I can't see him asking for or accepting help from the autobots, even in the most dire of circumstances. These ones don't have any flight frames, either, and though their team size is roughly the same, he still wouldn't put it past them to try and snatch his sparklings or force him to create new ones. No thanks

The other option is the decepticons. And Starscream...listen, I love him to death, but TFP Megatron would kill him within a day. I hate it, but it's true. TFA Starscream doesn’t know when to shut up, he always has to run his mouth. He and Megatron have a somewhat looser, less formal relationship, and that'd spell death for him. This Megatron won't take any snark, and TFA Starscream has a track record of very obvious attempts at assassination. TFP Megs wouldn't put up with that shit. He'd kill him in short order, and if Starscream still can't die, he'd probably have Starscream deconstructed and his spark detained. If you can't kill a threat, next best thing is to incapacitate.

Ofc, we could go another direction and say TFA Starscream actually reapects this Megatron for being so violent and foreceful, but I digress

At least in the beginning, Starscream and his younglings are probably on their own. This earth doesn't know about cybertronians but Starscream doesn’t know that. He'd probably waltz right onto an airfield or something to scavenge or grab supplies to rig up an energon converter, forcing the bots and/or cons to run interference before he gets them all exposed.

TFA Blurr x Longarm/Shockwave (AU Concept)

How about an AU where Blurr was simping for Longarm for some time. One night, he has a dream. A terrifyingly real dream about Longarm being Shockwave. He wakes up and can’t seem to get the thought out of his processor.

Whenever he see’s Longarm after this event, he struggles not to call him Shockwave.

Maybe he slips up somewhere and Shockwave didn't realize this until after Blurr was long gone. He begins to wonder if he was hearing things and waits for a repeat of the same event.

It comes, almost. Blurr narrowly calls him by his real name but manages to correct himself just in time, but it would seem that this was all Shockwave needed.

How did this little agent know his true identity? Why hadn't he told anybody yet? Where had Longarm slipped up? What was it that Blurr wanted to keep him quiet?

Longarm calls Blurr to his office to interrogate ask him how long he had known the truth, only to confuse the speedster.

Because misunderstandings are fun, Longarms questions only proceed to fluster the agent until Blurr decides to confess his feelings for the Prime.

How should this continue?

TFA x Hazbin Hotel AU Theory: If Vox Was a Techno-Organic In His Human Life.

even if this is more of a Fanon Crossover AU type theory, but I can’t help but have the thought pop into my head that has to do with Vox having been originally a protoform, even if it wouldn’t be canon, but would be fanon only in a Crossover Timeline.

like Vox might of never found out of his true heritage, and that his parents had found his newborn sparkling protoform self and when one or both of his parents touch the sparkling protoform, the protoform turned into a seemingly normal human baby, it could also turn out that both his parents weren’t able to have children because they are both sterile, and when they found that protoform that would become Vox, it was like a miracle.

the DNA Vox got from his parents, makes him their biological son, but his CNA comes from his Cybertronian “Mother” either the Cybertronian Mother be a Mech or Femme.

and if any Cybertronian had to be Vox’s possible mother in a Fanon Timeline...

I would pick Kup, who had went through the budding stage and is one of the Cybertronians that didn’t get infected by the sterilization program, so the higher ups wouldn’t have to wait for many years for the protoform to fully grow up and become a Autobot...

he could of had send Vox’s protoform away, not being able to take responsibility of parenthood,which I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the Autobots have done this....because they couldn’t handle the responsibility of taking care of a protoform that was born through budding...

Vox’s protoform ends up on Earth, and ends up being found by his soon to be human parents, they both end up touching his protoform and making him their biological son, and even in Vox’s death, he never found out that he is half-cybertronian and was originally a baby protoform that was technically abandoned by Kup.

 picture the relationship between Kup and Vox being like Ryoko and Washu from one of the different timelines of Tenchi Muyo....

even if Kup uses the same words as Washu that “I didn’t raise you to be a good for nothing.” and Vox using the same words as Ryoko “you didn’t raise me at all.”

if Sari is able to, she could probably reveal that Vox is like her, of course once more this would only be in a Fanon Crossover Timeline and wouldn’t be canon to the main canon of both TFA and Hazbin Hotel. 

the only difference between them, would be that Sari’s “Mom” is Megatron who is a Decepticons and Vox’s “Mom” is Kup who is a Autobot.

if Vox’s human parents ended up in the same place as him, or at least one of them, they could end up telling Vox the truth, that he wasn’t human at first, and he only became part human the moment they touched his protoform and it ended up absorbing some of their DNA and making a human baby appear in the protoform’s place.

 both Vox and Sari, could have a hybrid soul, where it was originally a normal cybertronian spark, but also is a hybrid soul.

 like when a baby protoform ends up becoming touched by a organic, and becomes that organic’s child, it ends up causing the spark to become a hybrid.

also it might be possible that a protoform that does become part human, does end up having both a spark and a heart, the heart would just be a mix of organic and synthetic.

 even if this idea and theory wouldn’t be canon, and I am very well aware of this, and it is meant to be a Fanon thing....

I think the idea of Vox being techno-organic in a Crossover Timeline with different series all living in the same universe, like maybe Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Transformers Animated, Transformers Prime, Transformers Movie Series, Ben 10 Omniverse and Steven Universe....would be interesting.

and in that crossover it would turn out that all the rings of hell are all in the body of Primus and Unicron’s younger sibling’s body, who is named Atlas, and who is inside of the Earth instead of Unicron.

Atlas needs to become fully canon and not just semi-canon and only appear in that crossover comic between G.I. Joe and Transformers.

hopefully one day that will come true.

and like it said in my other theory about a Crossover Fanon Timeline,

Azmuth would be the true creator of Primus (who has the same name as that planet in the Ben 10 series), Unicron and Atlas.

but all three were transform into transforming robots, because of that living metal seed that was implanted on them by that Quintessa.

Vox being part Cybertronian is just a fun Crossover idea that could work in the Fanon Timeline, like if it turned out that Vox was Chara’s Dad and him being part of the reason why they hated humanity, that might be a weird idea to some that has to do with a Undertale and Hazbin Hotel Crossover, but it’s possible that in some Undertale Fanon Timelines, Chara’s parents weren’t really good people and could be part of the reason why they hate humanity.

if Vox ever got hurt, like in the chest, what if it had revealed his spark, and he feels confused and scared like Sari did when she saw her arm.

and another weird thought that pops into my head is crossover ship that some might of not of thought of before, and that is Knockout x Vox....

maybe that would be a interesting Crossover ship, and if Knockout had to form a binary bond with any smaller organic, it might as well be Vox....well one of the options of organics that Knockout could form a binary bond with.

no one has to take this crossover theory seriously or in the wrong way, Vox turning out to be techno-organic and part cybertronian, would only be in a fanon crossover timeline.

Do you remember the TFA matrix Au where the matrix makes you a true prime and Megatron wanted it and how sentinel was offered but rejected? I would like a scenario where Optimus is inadvertently chosen by the Matrix. With Optimus asking "are you sure I am worthy?" With the matrix kinda saying "you have no idea"

When Optimus opens his optics he’s floating in an infinite darkness. There’s nothing except for him. He... doesn’t quite remember what happened for him to find himself here. There’s this itch in the back of his processor, something that he’s forgotten, but he don’t know what.

“Optimus Prime.”

Optimus whips around, the sudden voice calling out startling him. But there’s nothing. Only darkness. Strange. He blinks slowly, his processor slowly working itself up. “Hello?” he calls back into the empty void. His voice echos. “Is somebody there?”

At first, nothing happens. It feels like the darkness is holding its breath, waiting for something so happen. And then, there’s a light. It starts out small and flickering, like a distant star, but slowly it grows in strength and size. Soon it’s enormous, the size of a burning sun. And Optimus feels so small in comparison. Then the voice echoes out again.

“You have been chosen to take up the mantle of Prime. From now on to the end of time, you will be known as one of the bearers of the Matrix, the direct link between the Allspark and the people of Cybertron.”

Suddenly it all came back to Optimus. He had touched the Matrix and then- and then- “Oh Primus. This is real isn’t it? I’m becoming a Prime? I mean, I was already a Prime but not a true Prime, only in title, but this is all so sudden. I am not prepared! I never even considered the fact that the Matrix could choose me!” He buries his face in his hands. “I don’t know if I can do it. I-I am just the leader of a repair crew!”

The light flared. “You have been chosen by the Matrix. You have been deemed worthy.”

“Yeah, I know I’ve been chosen but what if it’s not the right choice? What if the Matrix is mistaken somehow?” Optimus removes his hands from his face and gazes up at the light. There’s desperation and fear in his optics. “I am not a hero. I am a nobody! Just a bot that got lucky a few times and managed to not totally screw things up! Why would the Matrix choose me?” He looks down at his hands and clenches them into tight fists. His body is trembling. “What is it that makes me worthy?”

For a few seconds there’s no response and Optimus fears that the light is gonna tell him what he already knows; that it’s made a mistake and that he’s not a chosen one. But then what feels like a hand grasps his shoulder. He looks up and sees that the massive light is gone. Instead there’s a version of himself, made out of light, right on front of him. His copy smiles at him and places its other hand on one of his fists.

“You are brave” it says as it eases the fist into an open palm. “You are kind.” It interlaces its fingers with his. “You strong.” The copy does the same thing with his other hand. “And you are my Prime.” There’s a beat of silence as Optimus and his copy stare each other in the optics. Then its smile grows and it leans its helmet against his. “You are more than worthy, Optimus.”

The light that makes up its body brightens until it's the only things Optimus can see. Soon the darkness vanishes and the last thing he hears before the light overwhelms him is that voice again.

“Awaken, Optimus Prime.”
