The invitation had upset him at first--the day before his birthday? Really? And with so little time to prepare? Jin didn't much like parties anyway and 'The Kamurai Family' invitation suggested it wasn't Jin but maybe his father(or fabeled younger sibling(s)?) running the show, but still. Romeo didn't want to go to Frostheim, even masked they would surely know who he--oh, Taiga text.

Taiga's eyes really only zeroed in on cocktails and dinner and his mind was set. If Jinnie so badly wanted to splurge on food and drinks for him he'd hate to decline. But first things first, he needed to make sure he had the right accessory.

Not that there weren't places on campus to go and spend his--well, Taiga's--money. He didn't know the last time he'd had a day to just spend on campus. . .as much as he resented being stuck on campus the place was huge and plenty of students had businesses and things. Few to his standard, of course--Hotarubi had its artisans(and Mortkranken had a few who studied anomalous applications for dermatology and esthetics, although he wasn't a big fan of being part of experiments or going to Mortkranken more than was strictly necessary) so maybe he could walk around there. . .frankly most of what he did lately was within Sinostra, even when he had time to himself.

. . .I'll try and spend some time away. But this little surprise had better be worth it!!

Maybe he could see what Leo was doing? Or go to the museum? Rui wouldn't be opening his bar for hours.

. . .more importantly he needed to spend time somewhere he would be able to sit down every once in a while. He supposed he could order some things offline if Taiga's truly insistent on him using his card. . .

He starts to type something about how Taiga didn't listen to him when he said to rest. He erases it. Taiga doesn't ever listen. He doesn't even remember what bothered him yesterday. Why is he letting this concern affect how he responds?
