Y'all. My absolute favourite place to get cool queer merch, @nerdykeppie , is having a flash sale on their new steel insulated travel tumblrs! 25% off today (11/20/24) and tomorrow (11/21/24), which makes them $45 before any applicable taxes, etc.
I'm not even a fan of of this style of mug, and I'm hella tempted by their ace "you have no power over me" version, but they have so many good designs.
Support a small, independant, queer business if you can and check their stuff out!!

anyway yeah DELETE YOUR FUCKING ADVERTISING IDS
Android:
Settings ➡️ Google ➡️ all services ➡️ Ads ➡️ Delete advertising ID
(may differ slightly depending on android version and manufacturer firmware. you can't just search settings for "advertising ID" of course 🔪)
iOS:
Settings ➡️ privacy ➡️ tracking ➡️ toggle "allow apps to request to track" to OFF
and ALSO settings ➡️ privacy ➡️ Apple advertising ➡️ toggle "personalized ads" to OFF
more details about the process here via the EFF

top five most important things you can give a character. 1. bisexuality. 2. autism. 3. so much negative rizz it loops around into irresistibility. 4. so many bad events. 5. a coping mechanism that’s cute and silly provided you don’t think about it too hard

you deserve people on your level. you deserve people who can reciprocate your energy. you deserve people who go out of their way to love you like you do for them. you don’t need to constantly be the giver in relationships and/or friendships that leave you drained at the end of the day.

Hi! I'm considering starting an onlyfans. I'm not scared of making content but I am scared of failing at it.
I have so many thoughts scrambling thru my head about it and whether I should or shouldn't.
Hey there! I don't see a question here, but I'll answer anyway. I'll start with a caveat that, if you're US-based at least, it seems possible that having an OnlyFans or engaging in any other sort of SW could turn out to be a much riskier venture in the near future if the current fascistic clownshow about to take office gets it's way. So do with that what you will.
As for worrying about failing, I guess that it all depends entirely on what you would consider success vs. failure in that sort of endeavor. I even don't know if I'm the best person to ask, since I'm probably not what you'd consider wildly successful at being a SWer from a business (or popularity) perspective. I have a very small group of lovely recurring subscribers, but on average still make less than $100/month from my OF. Still make enough to also have to pay taxes on it though! I also only promote on Tumblr, and since I tend to lean very silly/niche a lot of the time it's often difficult to get very many reblogs. So due to my lack of wide demographic appeal, I mostly just try to use it as a creative outlet for weird outfits, bad puns, and as a desperate effort to stay in touch with my own body. So like, if that's in line with your aims I say go for it. But if you're defining success as making a lot of cash, then I am not the right dude to ask.
#anon asks#friendly anons#advice(?)#that's not even getting into some of the more negative aspects#burnout and rude customers and people potentially stealing your content and all sorts of other potential issues#for me honestly sometimes i get so discouraged because I don't feel as sexy or as appealing as so many of the gorgeous folks that I follow#even though I KNOW i shouldn't compare myself to others#but i see like a mutual's post get as many notes in a day as I get in a month and it gets me down ya know?#i know part of my smaller appeal is even though I am Fat I don't like fat fetishists or engage with that kind of content#so that cuts off a lot of avenues lol#but you gotta find and respect your own boundaries first and foremost#anyway sorry just tag ramblin'
