Hello everyone! I am currently looking for a safe space to learn how to play ttrpg (specifically dnd and vampire the masquerade). I struggle with severe social anxiety and the thought of joining in on a campaign or one shot scares me. I’d much prefer a text-based situation as to alleviate some of that anxiety. I love the lore of both ttrpgs and have been AVIDLY playing BG3. Please dm me if you have a discord pertaining to learning how to play and/or a text-based play style.

how tf do people even get into roleplay as adults. the idea of it sounds so fun and i used to love doing it as a kid but idk how to get into it again. esp considering a lot of it just seems to be nsfw associated and i'm not interested in doing that kind of rp at all lol 😖 idk if i even have enough time for it either but it would be fun to do as a rlly casual thing. if anyone has any advice please lmk bc i'm genuinely curious abt how roleplaying online works in 2024
