Where's my "Highschool Teacher who works in a Shitty Ugly Modern Building who becomes an avatar of The Spiral and changes it to look like one”, huh?

Where's the never-ending halls made of thick cement that's still somehow thin enough you can hear everything happening in the other classrooms, huh?

Where's my walls painted an off-white with sold colored lockers and a checkered tile floor, huh?

Where's the unlit space under the dusty stairs where there's an unidentifiable stain that no one wants to (or can) clean up, huh?

Where’re the corridors that are empty and deathly silent one second and then packed to the brim the next with so loud it hurts your head and makes you want to cry, huh?

what about teachers that look and dress and sound the same, lecturing in identical rooms, except, maybe they aren’t? Was that same poster in the last room? I thought the desks looked a little different? (,huh?)

how about running from something or someone desperately trying to get to a teacher to help you but the ones that seemed so friendly before are now laughing you, mocking you, ignoring you but you just can’t stop running, huh?

I could go on but man I just think there’s a lot of potential in ugly modern schools

Do u guys think that shadowhunters pay income tax? I mean from what I remember they earn a salary so they must right. I hope the immortal beings are getting taxed too considering theyre like, loaded. At least, most of them. I mean I'm sure there are dirt poor warlocks who spent 200 years doing absolute fuck all on a remote island but if Magnus' lifestyle is any indication then we must assume lots of them are gilded. So where does that leave us? Are there laws in place for this or do they just rely on the warlocks' philanthropic efforts? Do u see what I mean. Its not sustainable. I hope the shadow world has, like, a progressive tax system in place. I may be projecting. Its been a tough day .
