⪩ summary- your boyfriend is batman and you’re the new catwoman

you encountered catwoman when you stole something, you were a great thief and you only stole every now and then but you just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

“well well what do we have here?” she says as she circles around you “you have guts. stupid ones but you have time. from now on you’re working for me i like your attitude.”

ever since terry started working for bruce wayne the two of you seemed to have less time together and ever since you started working for catwoman you barely had time for dates

“hey baby,” he said as he kissed your cheek and slid down into the seat next to you “sorry for not being able to make the date up to you i’ll make it up i promise” you smiled “it’s fine besides i had an emergency call in for work”

when it comes to him as batman the two of you had witty and flirty banter. for some reason, the two of you just clicked it felt like you knew him for ages

“those jewels don’t go with your complexion there sweetheart. it’s a shame you have to steal them” he leaned against the wall of the jewelry store as you grabbed something that caught your eye “too bad” you turn around with a catlike grin on your face “are you offering to buy me something nicer?”

bruce groaning every time he has to hear terry flirting with you he’s always like “keep your eyes on the prize terry.” and terry says “oh i am” while staring at you

the first time bruce heard “catwoman” his draw dropped he knew it wasn’t selina because he hadn’t heard of her in ages but yet catwoman was back, every time he encounters you he has terry give him a recap so they’re closer to uncovering who you are

we all know what catwoman’s suit looks like so when he sees your curves and how you fill it out he can’t take his eyes off you. there would be times when the two of you are so close that you’re damn near kissing

when the two of you are at school and batman and catwoman are suddenly brought up it gets strange

“did you guys see the news last night? batman helped the city again.” a classmate commented. you shrugged “from a thief though.” terry nudged you with a playful grin “what don’t tell me you’re team catwoman” you laugh a little “why shouldn’t i be she’s the only one who can give batman a run for his money” “hmmm i don’t know about that one baby.”

he would tell max about the dilemma he has with catwoman and knowing her she offers to help him out and find out catwoman’s identity. max heard how he talked to you on the comms once and she never went on while he was chasing you around again

eventually, your identities slowly fell apart. both of you let something slip and your “bosses” were able to figure out the rest and it was a strange conversation for the two of you.

the two of you were secretly talking in the batcave to make sure no one could hear you “so let me get this straight. you’re catwoman? this whole time it was you?” you shrugged “i could say the same the whole time instead of working for mr. wayne you were being batman??”

the flirty banter between y’all only gets worse

he snuck up behind you putting his hands on your waist “aw come on baby you don’t need to take that i can buy you something better.” you lean back and press a quick kiss to his masked cheek “mmm i don’t think you can but thanks for trying.”

he places one arm on the side of your head as you leaned your back on your locker “so where were you last night?” you smiled knowing he knew exactly where you were and what you were doing “oh here and there. nothing much to worry about” you pressed a kiss to his lips and hummed when you felt his tongue swipe your bottom lip.

The evening air felt fresh and inviting as you walked up to Terry’s house, a feeling of excitement bubbling in your chest. After a long week filled with chaotic school projects and endless responsibilities, spending a quiet night with him felt like the perfect antidote. His house was a small but cozy place, nestled in a quiet neighborhood that was a stark contrast to the bustling streets of Neo-Gotham. The porch was adorned with a couple of potted plants that Terry’s mother tended to meticulously. Their vibrant colors popped against the muted backdrop of the house, and as you stepped onto the porch, you noticed a few toys scattered about.

You knocked gently on the door, and within moments, it swung open to reveal Terry with his signature grin, his dark hair tousled, and a hint of mischief in his deep-set eyes. “Hey! You made it!” he exclaimed, stepping aside to let you in.

“Of course! Wouldn’t miss a movie night with my favorite people,” you teased, nudging him playfully as you stepped inside. The familiar scent of popcorn filled the air, mingling with the faint notes of laundry detergent and Terry’s signature cologne. The living room was vibrant and cluttered, a mix of family life and boyhood chaos—colorful cushions were strewn across the oversized couch, and a few action figures littered the coffee table.

“Matt is just finishing up some cereal,” Terry said, motioning toward the kitchen. You could hear the faint sound of a cartoon playing in the background, the cheerful voices of animated characters providing a lively backdrop to the evening.

“Spaghetti Monsters!” came a cheerful shout from the kitchen. You chuckled, shaking your head at the title. “I can’t believe he’s still into that show.”

“Hey, it’s a classic,” Terry defended with a grin as he led you through the small hallway into the kitchen. Matt was perched at the table, a bowl of cereal in front of him, his little hands clutching a spoon, and wearing a superhero cape that flapped as he bounced in his chair.

“Y/N! You came!” Matt exclaimed, his face lighting up with joy. You knelt beside him, ruffling his hair affectionately.

“Of course! I wouldn’t miss hanging out with you guys. Did you save the world again today?” you asked, a smile spreading across your face as you took in his excitement.

Matt nodded vigorously, puffing out his chest proudly. “I fought off the Spaghetti Monster and saved the city!”

“Impressive!” you said, your eyes sparkling with laughter. “What’s the plan for tonight, then? More monster-fighting, or are we switching to movies?”

“Movies!” he declared, before shoving another spoonful of cereal into his mouth.

Terry crossed his arms, leaning against the counter with an amused expression. “And what makes you think you’re allowed to stay up for a scary movie, young man?”

“Because I’m brave!” Matt replied with all the conviction of a five-year-old superhero.

“You’re brave, huh? I don’t know about that,” Terry said, raising an eyebrow playfully. “What do you think, Y/N? Should we let this brave little guy watch a slasher film?”

You exchanged a mischievous glance with Terry. “Only if he promises to keep the lights on and sleep with his cape. We can’t have any nightmares ruining our movie night.”

Matt nodded eagerly, his mouth full of cereal again. “I promise!”

As you settled into the living room with Terry and Matt, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The walls were adorned with family photos, capturing moments of laughter and love. Matt's little drawings were pinned up next to a chalkboard covered in doodles, and there was a sense of joy that radiated from every corner of the room. Terry’s mom moved gracefully through the space, tidying up as she glanced over at you with a welcoming smile.

After a few minutes, Terry scooped Matt up effortlessly and carried him to his room as he began to yawn, clearly fighting against sleep. “Alright, buddy. Time for bed,” Terry said softly, tucking Matt in with a gentle hand.

“I don’t want to sleep!” Matt protested, his eyes still wide with energy, but it was clear that he was losing the battle.

“You don’t have to sleep. Just rest, and I’ll come back in a little while,” Terry reassured him, planting a kiss on his forehead. As Terry left the room, you felt a swell of warmth in your chest. Watching him with his brother was one of your favorite things about him; he was so patient and loving, and it was a side of him that revealed a depth you adored.

When he returned, the couch felt emptier without Matt's bubbly energy, but it also felt like a blanket of calm had settled over the room. “Now, where were we?” Terry asked, flopping down onto the couch beside you, the cushions sinking under his weight.

“We were about to watch a horror classic!” you replied, reaching for the remote and clicking on the movie. The screen flickered to life, and the opening credits rolled, casting an eerie glow across the room.

“Just so you know, I’m totally prepared for this,” Terry said, leaning back confidently. “I’ve watched like three of these this week. I’m practically a pro.”

You shot him a playful look. “Oh, really? Just remember, if you scream, I’m never going to let you live it down.”

“Please, as if I would scream,” he scoffed, though you could see the hint of challenge in his eyes.

As the movie unfolded, you both became engrossed in the plot, the tension building on screen. You could feel Terry's body tense beside you during particularly scary moments, and you found yourself leaning into him, seeking comfort. “Why do they always split up?” you exclaimed during a ridiculous scene where the characters made a dangerous decision. “That’s just asking for trouble!”

“Right?” Terry replied, laughing. “It’s like they want to get picked off one by one. I mean, who thought that was a good idea?”

The banter continued, punctuated by gasps and laughter as you both made fun of the characters’ choices. You leaned in closer as the movie reached a particularly tense moment, feeling a thrill run through you. Terry’s arm found its way around your shoulders, and you could sense the warmth radiating from him.

When the film hit a climactic moment, you gasped, instinctively clutching onto his arm. “Oh my gosh, did you see that?”

Terry laughed, his laughter warm and infectious. “You were right! That was definitely unexpected. I thought for surethat the killer was going to come from the left, not the right!” he finished, his voice filled with excitement.

You both laughed, and as the tension of the movie ebbed, you felt the comfort of the moment settle in. The glow of the screen flickered across Terry’s face, highlighting the playful spark in his eyes. He turned to you, a teasing smile playing on his lips. “You know, I think you’re more invested in this than I am.”

“Can you blame me?” you replied, trying to sound indignant, though the grin on your face betrayed your amusement. “You might be the one who screams first.”

“Not a chance!” he declared confidently, but there was a flicker of mischief in his gaze.

As the film progressed, the mood shifted; the story grew darker and the stakes higher. You felt your heart race, and in a particularly suspenseful scene, you leaned a little closer to Terry, your shoulder brushing against his. He didn’t pull away; instead, his arm tightened around you, pulling you in just a fraction more. The warmth of his body felt like a shield against the chill creeping in through the night.

“Okay, I might scream if something jumps out right now,” he admitted, his voice low and conspiratorial. You could see the tension building in his shoulders as the suspense hung thick in the air.

“Let’s make a deal: if you scream, I’ll throw popcorn at you,” you offered, trying to lighten the mood.

“Deal!” he laughed, his eyes dancing with playful challenge.

The movie reached a climax, and as the action intensified, you both gasped together at a sudden scare, your fingers instinctively intertwining. You hadn’t meant to hold his hand, but the moment felt so right, as if it was the natural conclusion to the playful banter and the building tension.

Terry turned to look at you, and for a heartbeat, everything else faded away—the movie, the room, the world outside. Just you and him, caught in this shared moment. “I think we both just screamed,” he said, his voice a little breathless, a teasing smile spreading across his face.

You nodded, your heart swelling. “Yeah, it really does. I’ve missed this.”

He took a moment, studying your face as if trying to read your thoughts. The warmth of his gaze made your cheeks flush, and you felt a mix of comfort and excitement course through you. “You know,” he began, his tone serious yet gentle, “you make everything feel a little less chaotic.”

“Is that so?” you teased, though his words hit home.

“Definitely. Just being around you makes me forget about the craziness, even if it’s just for a little while,” he confessed, a hint of vulnerability in his voice that made your heart race.

You squeezed his hand lightly, the touch electric yet soothing. “I feel the same way. You’ve got this way of making everything better, even when things are rough.”

“Can we do this more often?” he asked suddenly, breaking the silence but keeping his gaze steady on yours.

“Absolutely,” you replied, a smile spreading across your face. “I’d love that.”

The film’s tension faded into a gentle rhythm as you both became lost in each other’s eyes, the world outside fading away once more. As the closing credits began to roll, you realized this night was about more than just a movie; it was a moment of connection, a night to remember.

And just like that, the screen faded to black, but the warmth of the evening lingered, wrapping around you like a cozy blanket, promising more nights like this to come.

Been thinkin about Batman & Pokemon crossovers, so have a list-ish of what I think they'd have. Might do Gotham's rogues too later. First ones listed would probably be their starter of sorts, but honestly that can be up for debate too.

⪩ summary- you and your boyfriend who’s not your boyfriend but is your boyfriend have a little talk…it’s complicated

you rolled your eyes when he approached your locker. even though the two of you broke up two weeks ago you were always aware of him it was like a habit you couldn’t shake.

from beside you felt max nudge you with her elbow “don’t look now y/n but here he comes.” max knows all too well about what terry’s been up to as batman. you however were left completely in the dark, after months of empty promises and missed dates you couldn’t take it anymore. the problem though was that you couldn’t stay away.

you slammed your locker shut and watched as he got closer to your locker and leaned against the one next to yours.

you looked him up and down and rolled your eyes “mcginnis.”

he simply smiled at you, he was way used to your attitude by now “l/n. you didn’t answer my call last night.” you clicked your tongue feigning innocence “oh really? you know i tend to not call my exes so maybe it’s just a coincidence.”

he chuckled “funny.” he leaned in closer to your face causing your noses to just barely brush against each other “come on you’re still not mad are you baby?”

your eyes flickered to his lips before meeting his blue eyes “yes i am.” a smirk slowly formed on his lips “you don’t sound too mad to me. you’re still talking to me aren’t you?”

it was the same game between the two of you. you wanted nothing to do with him or at least you felt like you did, and he wanted everything to do with you. he loves being around you and he loves you.

“…class is starting.” you turned to leave walking off to your next class. max leaned against her locker looking at terry “they’ve got you bad huh?” she sighs “i have a plan to help you out, just show up to the diner on lunch break.” she waved him off over her shoulder and trailed after you.

she slid into the desk next to you, as usual, your teacher just handed you all worksheets and left you all to your own devices. the whole class was in mutual agreement that no one was passing the end-of-year exam but a free period is a free period.

“so you and terry huh.”

you cut her off with a huff and a roll of your eyes “there is no me and terry. he’s just an ex.” she rose a brow “if terry is ‘just an ex’ then that must make me superman.” she nudges you with her elbow “come on y/n. i see how he looks at you. and i hear how he talks to you too he’s definitely not over you.”

you fill out the worksheet to avoid her gaze “that doesn’t matter anymore max.”

max sighs, terry is gonna owe her for this. she needed a way for the two of you to talk. it was understandable why the two of you broke up but it’s clear you still like each other and honestly, it was just getting hard to watch “how about we take your mind off of all this terry nonsense at lunch? my treat.”

you smile at her “that sounds great max thanks.”

she waves her hand dismissively with a smile “don’t mention it y/n. now forget about terry and let me tell you what i heard about nash and his girl”

“ooo you serious? spill!”

the class went by faster than either of you had anticipated gossiping the whole period truly goes a long way. max looks through her bookbag and sucks her teeth “damn i forgot my card in my locker. you go on ahead without me y/n and grab us a seat y/n i’ll meet you there.” you nodded, it was always busy at the diner if you don’t get there during the rush you wouldn’t be getting a seat “sure i’ll see you there.”

you weaved through the crowd and you walked to the diner snagging a spot for you and max. you idly scrolled on your phone to pass the time.

“y/n?” the voice that called out to you felt so familiar, so warm, so caring, so…terry.

you looked up from your phone watching as he slid into the seat across from you “i’m saving that seat for max terry.” he chuckled “that’s funny because max told me to meet her here too.”

you groaned and facepalmed. it was all a setup max got the both of you. you grabbed your phone and scooted out of the booth “i have nothin to say to you terry.” he gently grabbed your wrist “baby just talk to me. what can i do to fix this? i don’t like being apart from you.”

you remain silent, he releases your wrist and you sit back down “you wanna know what it is terry? i’m tired of you bailing out on me. it’s constantly mr. wayne this mr. wayne that. i just want to spend time like we used to i can’t exactly spend time with a boyfriend that isn’t there.”

he gently rests his hand on top of yours “i can’t promise that i’ll be able to clear my schedule baby but i’ll try my best. hell, i’ll even set a day aside just for you.”

you look out the window keeping your gaze on anything but him “hey look at me baby” you couldn’t help yourself and turned to meet his eyes “i love you and i always will we can make this work i promise.”

he wishes he could tell you about him being batman, it would make everything so much easier and he could just fly over and see you any time after patrol. but he can’t for your safety he won’t. it doesn’t matter how many times you break up with him because of his schedule. he’ll always love you and find his way back to you no matter how long it takes.

The crisp October air was filled with the scent of fallen leaves and the distant laughter of children planning their trick-or-treat routes. You had always loved Halloween, the one time of year when everyone could be someone else, if only for a night. This year, you had a special surprise for your significant other, Terry McGinnis.

You slipped into your Batgirl costume, the fabric hugging your form like a second skin. The cowl was the final piece, and as you looked at yourself in the mirror, a thrill ran through you. Terry, with his love for all things Batman, would never see it coming.

Meanwhile, Terry was in his room, struggling with a decision. Halloween was complicated for him, given his nightly escapades as Batman. He chuckled at the irony of it all—here he was, trying to choose a costume when he already had the most authentic one at home.

A knock on the door pulled him from his thoughts. “Terry, are you ready yet?” his brother’s voice called out, muffled by the wood between them.

“Just a minute, Matt!” Terry replied, finally settling on a simple Robin costume. It wasn’t the real deal, but it was close enough.

When you arrived at Terry’s doorstep, Matt greeted you first, his eyes wide with excitement. “Wow, you look just like Batgirl, Y/N!” he exclaimed, twirling in his mini Batman costume. Matt, the mini Batman of the house, was running around, his cape fluttering behind him as he practiced his best superhero poses.

You laughed, ruffling his hair. “And you make a perfect Batman, Matt. Is your brother ready?”

Matt nodded eagerly, and as Terry stepped out, you couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of him in the Robin costume. “I thought I’d keep it in the family,” he said with a grin, taking in your Batgirl outfit.

You teased Terry about his choice of costume. “I never took you for a sidekick,” you said, a playful glint in your eye.

Terry just smiled, a secret dancing behind his eyes. “You’d be surprised,” he murmured, his voice barely audible over the sound of child laughter. Terry’s arm slipping around your waist.

“Happy Halloween, Y/N,” he whispered, and you leaned into him, feeling the contours of his costume against your own.

“Happy Halloween, Terry,” you replied, unaware of the true depth behind his mask, the real hero that stood beside you.

“Alright, team,” you announced, “let’s get these pumpkins carved. Batgirl and her sidekicks can’t have a dull doorstep on Halloween!”

Matt was the first to dive into the task, his small hands scooping out pumpkin guts with a look of fierce concentration. “I’m gonna make the scariest face ever!” he declared, his eyes alight with the excitement that only a child on Halloween could possess.

Terry leaned over to whisper in your ear, “I bet he’s going to give us a run for our money.”

You smiled, taking up your own carving tools. “We’ll just have to step up our game then, won’t we?”

As the three of you worked on your pumpkins, the front porch became a canvas of creativity and laughter. Terry was meticulous in his carving, creating a bat symbol that looked almost professional. You went for a more traditional approach, crafting a grinning jack-o’-lantern that seemed to reflect the joy of the evening.

Matt looked between the two of you, his eyes wide. “You guys are so good at this!” he exclaimed, his own pumpkin taking shape under his determined hands.

“You’re not so bad yourself, little man,” Terry said, ruffling his brother’s hair. “That’s going to be one spooky pumpkin.”

Once the carving was done, you all stepped back to admire your handiwork. The pumpkins were lined up on the steps, their candles casting a warm glow against the darkening sky.

Terry wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. “Not bad for a night’s work,” he said, pride evident in his voice.

Matt bounced on the balls of his feet, eager to show off your creations to the neighborhood. “Can we go trick-or-treating now?” he asked, his voice tinged with impatience.

You laughed, nodding. “Yes, we can go now. But first, let’s get a picture of the Bat-family with their pumpkins.”

The three of you huddled together, the camera capturing the moment perfectly—a snapshot of Halloween happiness.

As the night progressed, you, Terry, and Matt wandered the neighborhood, collecting candy and compliments on your costumes. The air was filled with the sounds of Halloween—shrieks, laughter, and the rustling of leaves.

It was a night of masks and merriment, of heroes in costume and the simple joy of being together. And though you didn’t know Terry’s secret—that he was the real Batman—it didn’t matter. Because tonight, he was just Terry, your Robin, and that was more than enough.
